My debit card with Green Dot was compromised I have sent them numerous documents to verify my identity to get my money that is on the last card I cancelled because it was stolen, I've yet to see a refund check or another debit card Ive been given the run around, I DONT recommend using one of these green Dot cards, the customer service needs work as well.

I bought 8 of their cards and none of them worked or were already hacked or were locked. I tried their "customerless service" 6 times and the first time, their staff went through all my cards with me and agreed they owed me $745.

The next day a foreighn speaking man from that office called and said the other ones were wrong and they only owned me $100 and they sent a check for that amount. Now, I called today about the remaining $645 but was hung up on 4 times by the customer service and one woman claiming to be a manager.

Tomorrow I'll file a complaint with their headquarter! What kind of customer service hangs up on someone with no explanation. They just put me on hold and left me there until they hung up. Piss poor management and I would not recommend them to anyone for anything.

I bought a card Green Dot card from the Dollar general they did not give me a receipt and when I tried to activate it it wouldn't activate and I bought it on the 3rd of December and I've tried to activate it ever since and when I finally got a hold of a live representative they say the card is in someone else's name there's no way possible that card can be anyone else's name except for mine I bought it and

had it in my possession the whole time since the 3rd of December and now they're saying it's in somebody else's name there's no way possible I got to have that money it's for my daughter to buy food and I'm on disability and that's the last $75 I had I put on that card and now I can't use it I need help please help me

I have been dealing with them for some time now and every single time it is frustrating anytime that my friends go missing it takes about 3 weeks until I finally get my friends back and seems to be and this last time I reported immediately as it happened I didn't even know the company that was doing it I didn't email me phone and it still got processed and now I am on week too still waiting on top of that I have money in my account number very frustrating

They didnt mail out a new debut card, my current one expired 11/30 So I'vd been without cash for 5+ days now. I've call customer service and are told a different answer every time. If i want money I can go to walmart, BUT you need to be at WALMART to do, as it is only a 15 min pick up window.

Also I did online bill pay for one bill, they say money has been sent, but cable bill still hasnt gotten it yet. I am SO MAD at this bank, I wish there was a way to speak to someone in the USA not India.

I purchased a green dot Visa card from family dollar. I came home and tried to activate it and it did not validate the card. So I took the card back to the store. Upon arrival the family dollar cashier told me that I had to wait 30 minutes for I could activate it.

Now it was been 3 hrs and the card still won’t validate. I need my 20 dollars

My husband sent me money via 2 different transactions (1,000 & 800) on Tuesday Nov 22, 2022 and GreenDot locked both of our cards. He called, submitted his ID and had to get ugly with them to unlock his card, which they did 4hrs later.

I also submitted my ID & phone number to the appropriate email as well to verify myself that this was not fraudulent activity. As of today Saturday Nov 26, 2022 they still have not unlocked my account even after saying they have recieved all of my information and verified me.

I keep getting told it will take 2 business days, yet here we are on day 3 and no one can tell me why or what is taking so long and I keep getting the run around. I understand there’s a policy but if my husband can get his unlocked in a matter of hours, why is mine taking so long?

Green Dot Corporation refuses to issue refund for fraudulent charge that I NEVER received services for. I have submitted all the proper paperwork and they said they will not issue a refund. They cannot even verify I did receive service from merchant. 95.

98 was taken out of my account for something I didn’t order. In July I got the money back but in August, it was taken away and I have been trying to get back since August. I’m 70 years old and I live in a assisted living facility.

I was offered this card thru tax free USA for my direct deposit. As soon as I recieved deposit my account was locked up and told I had to send id and it would take two buisness days to lift hold.

2 buisness days have passed n still no lift of hold. When I call I am put on hold and hung up on or just told to wait 24 hours. I feel as if there is no intention on lifting the hold.

They are just steeling my money

I had to put my ssi/ssa direct on roommate card been victim of identity theft,filed FTC. I saw on his computer it was overdrawn which he should of handled & claims he did. I have not used the card only to get money out.

Now, whatever unauthorized charges on their it is Michael Harvey Glascow responsibility, not mine. I get $181ssi & 680 ssa. Well i only got 60 & the card on kept it. 00 returned to me now. That is part of my rent $. Acct was 194690823040 closed. 00.

00 was taken out of my account with my authorization. They GreenDot changed my email and phone number for a total stranger without notifying me until after it was done. This was done so that I wouldn't see the transaction notification of the money that was taken out of my account.

Even changed my id and password on the GreenDot app which won't let me login to my account. I had to upload my drivers license for verification online, supposedly it will be 2 business days before my identity can be verified.

I want my money back and I’m done with Greendot!

My dad passed away May 27th 2022 I called the card obtained the information that I needed to turn in to receive the funds and close the account since nobody there speaks English and nobody's higher than the corporate office because you can't speak to real people because the real people are so busy letting these people that don't speak English answer the phone hang up in your face frustrate you because they don't know how to do simple things and

I contacted Green Dot via chat multiple times about the situation and they mentioned to me to wait an hour and to retry the transaction again which I did and again it was declined. 99.

Customer service is a joke at Green dot! They barely tell you the minimum that they have to for filing a dispute of any kind especially a transaction dispute then they tell you it 10 days and they tell you it's 30 days then

they tell it's 45 business days then I get a letter today saying it's going to be up to 90 days while they investigate. Investigate what it was a fraudulent charge my bank would have already had this overturned and refunded me my money this is just ridiculous.

And so frustrating then you find out about a provisional credit oh but they don't tell you you only have 10 days to file it after you filed the complaint nobody ever tells you that. Like I said customer service is a joke I hate Green Dot

I have been dealing with this issue since April 2022. My account was compromised and closed by green dot not per my request and now having problems receiving my refund check by mail to my new address. I have been charged many late fees with my bank and mortgage company due to late payments because I had not received my money after the loss of my job.

I do need a supervisor to review my account and either reopen the account so that I can have access to those funds of 3000+ dollars or open up a new account and transfer that money into the account so that I can process my payments . On September 15th 2022 called to reset my pin but they said they couldn't help me and told me they could mail me a check for my over 5,000 dollars worth of funds in my account. Said it would take 7-14 days.

Well I never received my check after that time period. Call the company back they said they reissued me a check on the 1st of October 2022 but never received it, called again and the date I was told from a different representative was it was mailed on the 5th of October but

of course I've yet to receive my money!! Called yet again and they said they would expedite me a check that would take 5 days we'll here I am almost 10 days later from that date and still have yet to receive my money from my account!!

Now when I call they hang up on me. I'm ready to hire a lawyer and sue this…

On 10/14/22 my account was hacked, I lost a lot of money. I've talked to numerous people EVERY ONE has told me something different. You never notified me my account had suspicious activity!!!!! Why? So all MY info I was supposed to get Was being sent to the hackers!! Really, pretty smart.

I reported a unauthorized transaction on my account and disputed it. Over a month later I still have not received my money back not even a provisional credit. They are past the original 10 business days a manager promised me a resolution on and refuse to provide even a provisional credit but keep forcing me to give them more time for research.

I reached out to the merchant where the charge came from as well and explained that the purchase was unauthorized and they cancelled the order and refunded the money back to the bank and provided a cancellation number which I also explained and provided to the bank and they are still refusing to give me my money back.

I was a victim of identity theft in February of 2022 where the thieves stole my eye identity my bank cards and awesome I income tax for my Green Dot card I turned it into local authorities and Green Dot it was only refunded a portion of it in which I never received.
