My bank account was hacked and all of my passwords changed and everything except for my name and my social security number were changed which made it even harder when speaking to people that could not speak very good English when trying to prove my identity they took my account for over 3,300. They told me within 3 hours of it happening that they could see where my bank account had been hit 29 different times in California and for electronic funds transfer for $500 in California. I live in Pennsylvania.

It has now been a month and a half and I still have not received the check for my funds that were in my account my bills are behind my rent's behind everything is behind and I'm occurring fees because they could not give me my money back. Bill collectors don't care about excuses.

I bought a Green Dot Visa Debit card at CVS pharmacy in Surprise, AZ. I put $175 dollars on the card. I then ordered some items online and was told the next day that the card was declined. I called customer service and was told that the card could only be used in store.

That's hard to do when I'm in AZ and the place I ordered from is in CA. I told the customer service rep that I want to close my account and get a check for the amount on the card.

She informed me that I was charged a monthly service fee.

Also, that it would take two weeks to get my return check. That is so unacceptable. I will never purchase anything with Green Dot on it again.

This bank froze my account after a huge deposit was made. It is still froze and I am still fighting to have it unfroze. I have been fighting for 6 days now. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. Ever!

I have called customer service for a fraud issue to get a new card. The guy told me he could expedite my card , that I would have it in 3 business days. I ask him to send to my new address he stated he would, it has been 6 business days and I call again. Now the guy says they sent it to the old address. Now I have to change the address on my ap per the now customer service rep who by the way hardly speaks English. I told him the guy last week stated he changed it and would send the card to my new address which obviously DID NOT GET DONE.

So today 6 days after I’m supposed to have my card I call again and still no English speaking help, and I get hung up on. I call again and the lady tells me there is no way she can expedite the card it will take 7-10 business days. So now I have waited…

00 I have proof and so does green dot that at the same time someone stole money from my account at an atm I have a receipt that I was using my card at my local Walmart store i arrived at Walmart pharmacy at 6:54 pm then continued shopping by the time I finished and was checking out at the register my receipt states 7:13 pm on 1/21/2022 some how someone withdrawals at an atm that's 20 minutes away at 7:11 pm on 1/21/2022 I still have my card in my possession I filed a policereport even on greendots denial to pay.

Me back they state "there is a transaction at Walmart at the same time the atm withdrawals happened & I have 1 card it is still in my possession

I have found that green dot offers many different pre paid cards. I have 3. Regular green dot card Go2bank card Walmart prepaid card Each make u pay even if it says you can go somewhere and load for free.

I don't use my cards anymore so I don't put money on them yet still get charged their monthly fee. I have went through my bank account and sent them their monthly fee to bring balance to a positive. These green dot cards have not accepted or processed my payment to them.

Which they want you to put at least $20 and pay load fees to them before you can close out a account!

00 back to the card the next day which was confirmed via 3way call with motel and greendot and myself and was told it could take up to 90 days. This has now been over 1 year ago now and greendot keeps charging my card for non use which card is in negative balance and I've tried hundreds of times to get my money back and

have been hung up on and refuse to answer my calls , blocked me and very rude costumer service people. 00 and greendot will not return that money which was around same time ,over a year ago.

My account was hacked, and my SSI check stolen. I called the rep said I was hacked, and no worries she said I would get refund check in the mail. A month later, several calls later, several hangups while they transfer me everywhere, several different BS explanation's, send my ID verification 4 times, they said it didn’t pass.

I want my money back, its insured by the FDIC. Im ready to file a suit against greendot. I purchased at Walmart, very disturbed that Walmart would back this bank, and own stock.

Purchased card on 9th loaded $150 onto card to use as deposit on hotel, hotel has released funds, green dot will not release my money back to the card, it has been 12 days, and you refuse to give me my money, I am contacting BBB this is ridiculous, each time i call the date for my refund changes. On the 20th of june 2022, I loaned one of my relatives $600 out of pocket. On june 23 of 2022. He paid me back via Greendot to Greendot.

However on the 23rd of june Greendot blocked my account alleging it was fraud and suggested that I foward to them a valid copy of my driver's license and recent utility bill, which I did foward too the via email, only now to have Greendot suggesting that they've placed a block onto my account that cant be removed, so now Greendot is refusing too release the block and my money.

But yet they haven't showed me anything that come close too a block. Which I called them and advised them that I done nothing wrong and that they needed to release the block or my funds, because they are not in a position to keep my funds.

On June 17, 2022 I reported my Walmart debit card lost/stolen. Ever since June 23 there has been an issue with the system on processing a new replacement card. I have spoken to representative after representative along with supervisors and corporate as well and all I've been hearing over and over is that my account is still under investigation as to why the system isn't allowing a replacement card to be sent out.

A ticket for this complaint was put in July 2 but I've been complaining since June and that ticket should have been put in about the complaint when I first made the complaint in June. This is hurting me financially, emotionally to where I've become depressed and stressed.

I would like to file a complaint on Greendot for theft, because on the 20th of June I loaned a relative $600 cash money out of my pocket, However the relative decided too send the $600 back to me via email to email, And once I accepted the cash back and placed it into my safe Greendot instantly blocked my account suggesting fraud, which they have yet to show me any type of fraud or any type of transaction that would justify them blocking my account and

for that I have decided to take legal action against Greendot for theft, because while they are at liberty to close your account they cannot take your money read their policy.

let it happen again after was put in I'm already way behind on my rent because of this and have utilities shut off and now I have to go through this again c'mon man this is ridiculous seriously I need resolution now!

This is the worst prepaid account a person can have. They are always changing their rules to suit them. No monthly fee if you have over $400 deposited a month, then they changed it. Monthly fee no matter amount of deposits.

Overdraft fees you OD twice in a day, one at 3pm and another one at 6pm, u make a deposit the next day at 4pm. U still get 2 OD fees even though your deposit was made 24 hrs before second transaction.

They have the worst customer service and the worst card terms and rules of any prepaid card on the market. in the past this was not the case, but now run don't walk away from green dot banking.

Overall a nasty institution to do business with. Will never do business with them again.

I been a loyal customer for over 4 yrs and the fact that green dot have people overseas answering there calls is beyond me. They are always rude hanging up the phone refusing to transfer you to a supervisor. I DNT do disputes but this time I needed to because the merchant still charged my account after I cancelled the subscription.

I told them this is hardship and if I can send them an email because per green dot staff we have to write a letter before they will give me my fund back which is bazar to me and needs to be changed! I asked for an email so I can send the letter to.

Per Rey the supervisor in the dispute area told me I can be doing fraud and I can’t email her nothing. O. Box which didn’t make since because a handwritten letter can be fraud as well and anyone can write the letter…

I filed a dispute on June 1 because someone paid an ATT bill in Texas for $200. They told me that my card will be turned off and a new one will be sent to me. It is now 25 days later and I have not received a new card.

I have called several time and have been told that they are expediting a card, but I never receive it. I now can’t even log into my account because it tells me that my account is locked. I didn’t get the money back from the unauthorized use of my card and I have been without money for 25 days.

I’ve called green dot over 50 times in one month to rectify the refund of my stimulus funds that went into my account when I was unaware of it. I am calm in speaking to every representative as it is not their personal fault for what has occurred and I don’t feel raising my voice will get me anywhere.

Plus I treat others as I want treated.

However I have been hung up on countless times and after being promised to be transferred or out on hold. I have verified my account over 60 times. I have numerous case numbers because the right one doesn’t seem to ever be the correct one that they file and I still have gotten no where after staying on the line for countless hours the phone drops EVERT TIME!

I have notes every representatives name for proof and I need HELP!!! I need HELP I NEED HELP!!…

I was on the phone for over 2 hours straight and was told it was the company that was refunding my money's fault. While in fact it was Green Dot's fault. Within that 2 hours I spoke with 7 different repersentive including a supervisor.

Issues was still not resolved. Green Dot is an incompation company. Repersentive will give u the run around keep u on hold and still not address issues hoping u will just hang up and forget a out them stealing your money.

I will NEVER use Green dot Again and will NEVER recommend them.

I called corporate office and they're complaints number and they're representatives intentionally gave me the wrong information to avoid refunding a card that I can't used because of you guys system failing to register cards. This is unprofessional and if I don't get my refund back, I have to take this to court and sue for damages because of selling faulty cards and not being able to make the purchases that you guys guarantee to make if registered.

My wife received one of these cards for a tax return. Huge mistake: They say you can access cash however that's a flat out lie, They say you can get $3,000 through a bank teller but all banks have refused to pull cash off the card.

5 % charge for access then all other atm transactions say you are over the limits for daily withdrawal even though they say the max withdrawal is $2,000 per day it's not it's 300 and you pay heavily for that. This card is a totatal fraud, we will be filing a complaint with the ftc and likely will have to get a court order compelling then to disperse funds I'm not paying over $450 and taking 90 days to access our money.

This company is criminal it should be shut down and can't possibly be acting inside federal banking laws Total scam never use this company for…

Was over charged and they posted and deducted both amounts from my acct. only a week to wait for the $50 they processed along with the $48 I got in gas for only $98. When I asked why they charged both amount for the same store on t h e exact time.

My called did NOTHING TO HELP but assured me I would have my money back in a week. Do I believe That NO WAY!!! Called the storm and theater stupid like nothing they did was wrong. I've used Green Dot.

For the past 7 years but I'll not use them after this. Don't advice the for anyone.

00 green dot gift card at Walmart on 3 January 2022 and bought it home and tried to register it on line with no luck. I also tried to buy something online with it on the Amazon online site. I immediately called the number on the site and a male associate answered the phone and I told him of my situation.

He said that he will close out the account and send me a refund in the mail for the amount of my card within 2 weeks. I waited 2 week for my refund and never received it, so I called back and a female associate said I need to send my information off the card on the front and

back and a copy of my receipt from the Walmart store and she gave me a reference number to put on the email and wait 2 weeks for it. The first one was 85163261 and I sent it and waited another 3 week…

I brought to 200 dollar gift cards from Walmart. They were not working although it says active I have been dealing with Greendot on this matter for five days and still nothing. They ask me to send documents which I did seven times and still nothing.

I called today and they close my case without a resolution. Just freaking treble and to resource and find out this is an ongoing problem is further troubling because no one is doing anything about and it we as consumers are suppose to just take it.

This is the 3rd time my account has gotten hacked except this time they did something else called an amount takeover meaning they changed ALL of my account information to where I have to completely verify it is my account i had 16 fraudulent charges on my account that got disputed and the money for refunded back into my account...

But no one can verify it's mine so I have absolutely no access to my funds until they can either unlock my card send mea new one or send me a refund check but that being said they changed my mailing address as well to where it's completely not verifiable until i can send in my verifying documents which I have no idea even where to do that

Just got 5 cards in the mail cause was supposed to get tax money on one! They blocked 4 of the cards except 1. The one they put the money on was a blocked one. Had to submit id but keep getting email saying it's not legible.

I BOUGHT a reloadable Green dot card at Fred Meyers 2 YEARS ago! I used it a couple of times the first month or two that I had it. Since then it's been tucked away in a drawer, forgotten about.

Today, 2 yrs later I gave cashier $50 cash at store to load onto card for an ebay purchase. My purchase at eBay was denied due to insufficient funds! So after downloading and installing stupid Green Dot app I find my balance to be -$150!

I thought, how in the world could I have negative funds when I haven't even used the card in 2 years!? And it's a reloadable card I BOUGHT it's NOT my bank card! Yet little did I know, they were charging me $8/mo for "service fee" which racked up to almost $200!! What the Hell!!

I am canceling card ASAP and will never have anything to do with this company again

I have had my checks directly deposited into my greendot account for well over a year now. I had cash back bonus money that said I could redeem March 18th. 00. WOW!!! REALLY!!! For over a year I had thousands of dollars deposited into my account.

All this time I thought I was getting a little cash back bonus. screwed. I'm sure I'm wasting my time right now. Bet no one reads this. No one cares. I'm stuck at work til Monday. Starving cuz my paycheck went to bills and I couldn't afford any food.

That bonus money would have bought me some food. It was just a little over a 100 bucks. 20 freaking dollars would be a blessing right now.
