Hampton Inn, on Pelham Road, Greenville, SC is the city and the experience ultimately became horrible. Traveling with an invalid parent is quite challenging but this trip was planned and was to be quite special. The usual accommodation was not available due to the hurricane displacement so we chose this location, primarily due to ease of access and the walk in showers that we saw on the website. Perfect, because as a caregiver with my own illnesses, this set up fit what we needed and have had in the past.

On January 10, 2025 I my family (myself, wife, 2 daughters, grand daughter) travelled to Salem, Va to see my wife's father in the ICU of Lewis Gayle Hospital. While at the hospital we came to the conclusion it would be best if we stayed the night near the hospital.

com to book (2) rooms at the Hampton Inn Salem East - Electric Road. I opted to pay at the front desk on check in. Once at the hotel I proceeded to check in and was told by the front desk that they only had (1) room available.

I showed my booking to the clerk which showed (2) rooms. com allowed me to book (2) when they only had (1). I agreed to take the (1) room since it was snowing out side and we had to be near the hospital.

I booked a room at this hotel paid for it and had a confirmation number. I was coming in town 5 hours away for my step dad’s funeral, upon walking to the front desk to be told we don’t have a room for you.

I asked how can I not have a room when I paid for it in full when booking and I was told I don’t know but I can get you a room at the Comfort Inn. If I wanted to stay at the Comfort Inn I would have booked it in the first place.

This hotel has absolute no regard for customer service and taking care of the guests. If this was the only place to stay with 100 miles O would sleep outside in my car instead of staying here. What a joke of a hotel and staff handling guests. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!

My wife and I travel quite a bit but have never stayed in a Hampton Hotel until this past weekend. Our daughter (Catiltyn Chirdon) booked a package for us that included a shuttle service to several wineries in the area surrounding the Grove City, PA location. We decided to visit the wineries but opted out of the shuttle service, which was $40 per person. The person in charge of booking the shuttles was very helpful and assured us if we didn't want the shuttle, it would not be charged to our account.

There were two major problems that occurred during our stay and the days that followed:

I booked over 10 rooms at this hotel thinking I would get Hilton/Hampton Inn Quality for my guests for an event I had within 4 miles of this place. This place was a dump and the night shift ratchett check in person NATASHA was so unprofessional along with the general manager Tonya of whom I have been waiting a call back from now for over 4 days.

No call from them and No call back from Hilton case #196202458 and case #904472022. Not only was I upset because when one of my guests, (a corporate customer of mine) checked in, the Checkin lady Natasha told her the reservations were canceled because of Credit Card Fraud.

Which was a mistake on the Hotel sales manager's (Hew Hartman) fault in which I have in writing where he was supposed to transfer the 4 reservations on hold for my guests to 10…

As I was walking away from check in clerk called me back an said she needed 50 dollars cash for keys to room. When I asked for receipt she said I would get one in the morning. The next morning the clerk had no record of 50 dollars.

I explained my issue and ask them to check the video where they could clearly see me give her a 50 dollar bill. When I checked out nothing was done to resolve my problem . I was told the girl has worked there for 9 years.

Obviously I'm not the only person she has done this to. we will no longer patronize Hamptons.

We stayed from 15-11-2024 the hitel never said A word to us and when we went to reboot. They stated that they had almost called the cops on us. Because we were so loud and that they had several complaints.

We have never in our lifetimes together. Had one single argument and for them to outrageously. Lie and say that we were fighting and causing. Other people to be affected by this is. Is gross. this wasn't salida, California by Modesto.

Martha, the breakfast attendant was extremely rude, condescending and mocking when I asked her if we could just please have 5 more minutes at the breakfast buffet on New Years Day. She mocked the way I spoke and my tone of voice by saying "not even 5 more minutes" in a very derogatory child like tone.

She could have easily said no without mocking or ridiculing, specially since I was not disrespectful to her in any way. I am an adult and a guest at this hotel. When I complained to the Manager, Jessica, she defended her employees position by saying she did not mean to when clearly, she did.

I have booked a room for my employee with multiple Hilton brands. I have booked rooms for her in at least four different locations and two different brands (Home2 and Hampton for sure) There has never been an issue before but today, 1247 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222•(412) 288-4350 would not use the corporate card that was on file.

She could not get ahold of me right away so she has to use a personal card to get into the room. Once she got ahold of me, I called the hotel and was on hold for 14 minutes before getting to speak with Rachel, the AGM.

I recently had booked a hotel stay at your Hampton Inn Phoenix Tempe property for tonight 11/28/23 through Chase Travel. Unfortunately, I had to cancel this reservation last minute today because of a severe cold. Due to corporate Hilton policy I was not granted a courtesy refund by your local GM Jeff. Of course I am fully aware that I had made a non-refundable reservation. However, I still want to express how disappointed I am that an exception could not be made given the circumstances. It seems that corporate greed nowadays is all that matters.

About a month ago. stayed at hamptom in St. Peters. MO. Having key card problems. Given a key. Went out. Came back after 12 am, key did not work. 4 trips from 3rd floor and still did not receive a ley.

Manager let us in room. After my partner with axiety issues and heart problems. stood in hallway. Was told they would take some off room, but not. Decided to hive 1 more try. Same key prblem. After room two, finally into our room.

Half the lights didn't work, mo tv remote. Which manager took from amother room. Still did not work. Had to get manager to turn knob off in tub, showerhead wouldn't work. Already paid for room through Expedia then manager charged us again for room. Said she reversed it. We will see.

40 for a room? 00. 00. There were some minor problems which I normally wouldn't mention. Shower wouldn't work. Sink would not hold water. The TV remote was only good to turn TV on and off. I stayed at the Hilton at the beach a couple years ago and didn't pay that much.

Hampton Inn Waynesboro Virginia We recently stayed at 4 different Hampton Inns in 4 days along the trail of the Blue Ridge Parkway. All consistent and kind as normal which is why we frequently stay at only Hampton. Our stay in Waynesboro was a bit off for the Hampton brand.

The cost was more than when we stay in a large city and I didn’t even shower because of the nasty. The room was dirty, the bed appeared to be just thrown together and had markings on the sheets. A bit uncomfortable for me but we had no choice to leave.

We always try to stay at a Hampton when traveling. Tonight we are staying at a Hampton in Xenia OH on Progress Drive. The carpet in the room and in the hallways is filthy! Large stains everywhere! It appears large spills took place and was never cleaned.

We paid nearly $200 for the room and am disappointed!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in London, KY on September 23, 2023. Very disappointed. Hampton Inn has always been exceptional in every way. This one was not and I will not go back. At check-in, no thank you, no explanation of the way to use the Wi-Fi or television, had to ask where parking was for the room.

Very rude to check in and out by each staff member. Seemed irritated when I called the desk to ask about the television channels. No one mentioned to scan a bar code to see the channels. The carpet was dirty but the rest was clean.

I just did not like the way the staff was. Will not stay with another Hampton Inn for a while.

I can't say that I am completely disappointed with the hotel. The check in lady was super nice and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed in a whirlpool room which was great, however, there were a bunch of small bugs crawling around the control panel.

I showed the check out lady (different than when we checked in) and she didn't seem to care too much. I'm not looking for a free stay since it was necessarily a horrible experience, but maybe a partial refund would have been nice.

I checked in when I went to take a shower there was hair in the tub and the sink did not drain properly. I then went down and spoke to the front desk I asked if I could use points I was told it’s too confusing to do it after I checked im and there was nothing they could do because there was no manager there. One day after reserving my room for a full week with housekeeping on a request -only basis, someone from housekeeping walked in on me and then apologized saying she thought the room was empty. There was no cart in the hall, she had no supplies with her.

I bookwd this room for 7 days and when I booked it, directly with the hotel, I was told that Yellowstone Park was about 30 minutes away. It is 90 minutes away, just one way..I requested to speak to the Manager, Holly, on Monday, theb10th, and as of today, have not had a return call.

Upon arrival, I was told we had to go get our own towels and toilet tissue, which I have had to do everyday.

The washers and dryers were broke from my arrival to today. I was told I had to go next door to another hotel to do my laundry.

My room has not been cleaned since I have been here and was told that I had to contact the office the day before and request for my room to be cleaned.

I booked a room for 7 days and when i booked this room, directly with the hotel, i was told that Yellowstone was about 30 minutes away. It is 90 monutes away one way. I asked for the Manger, Holly, to contact me as as of todate, she has not.

On 9/9 we stayed at the Hampton on Laguna dr in Rockwall Texas. Our daughter and son in law met us there. We were sitting in lobby enjoying an adult, no liquor. The person from the desk told us we couldn’t be in there because we were drinking liquor, but should go outside in front of the hotel, because there would be other guests coming in and they shouldn’t see that.

We did comply, but found it very strange that she would do this, and insisted even though we were not drinking liquor.

Also strange, because the other guests would see us when the drove up any way. We were not loud, and also we did not leave any mess. She was rude and sending us outside was uncalled for.

Hampton Inn & Suites Jackson Downtown-Coliseum staff named Trenice Jackson went beyond her duties when solving a dispute of my credit card in which the hotel over charged and refused to place back into my card account since 8/26/23, resepectively.

I trying to book a stay with Hampton Inn at Kapolei. It was 4 in the morning 30 Aug 2023 however I really needed a place to stay since my current situation didnt make me feel safe.

The desk manager on hand was not available so the desk security managed to get in contact with her (Jesiree A.)

My bank account was charged for a room that I never booked. I filed a fraud complaint with my bank and called the hotel to speak with the manager about it. I never heard back from the manager. My bank did an investigation, the hotel managers told my bank that they have me checking in and out at certain times. THIS IS 100% FALSE! I never booked this room, I didn't even know where the hotel was until I googled it, and they certainly NEVER had me checking in. I will be calling Hilton Global as well and the hotel again.

I stayed at Hampton Inn Albany East Greenbush, NY from Aug. 24 to the 25th. I stayed at Hampton Inn many times before (all over the US) and this is my first-ever complaint.

This centers on my breakfast experience. 1) Both pots of coffee were empty when I entered the lobby (8:30AM). When I left after eating breakfast both pots are still empty. An employee told me "it is being boiled". The problem here is: you should have a 2nd pot ready and replace the empty pot once it runs out.

2) There were no turkey sausages, no fruit in fruit salad tray, and no white bread.

For No. 1), I went up to the front desk and told them "the coffee pots are empty" and the reply I got was "the person stepped away and will be right back."

The problem is this: there should be a dedicated person there clearing…

Stayed there August 25th and now my husband has bed big bites on several parts of his body! The room wasn’t the greatest although it maybe was 65% clean. We stay at Hampton a lot and never has this happened.

This was in Wythville, VA. He will be going to the Dr soon to see if they can give him some kind of medication, The creams I bought are not helpinf. I’m so upset with this you should not have to fear of this happening especially paying a good amount to stay there.

I’m asking for a full refund I think we deserve that and also reimbursed for all the creams I purchased. This is so frustrating!! I hope you take this into consideration . Thank You!

We stayed in the Hampton Inn at 898 Wiggins Road Emporia VA 23847 last night. We did not have hot water. We had to shower in cold water. For the cost of $130 a night a hot shower is not too much to ask for.

We travel frequently and always stay at a Hampton. Have seen a real decline in the service with dirty rooms, mediocre breakfast, and now the hot water issue. We will be looking for another hotel to frequent.

I made reservations well in advance. The family I was traveling with and myself called and talked with staff. We requested 2 rooms, both handicap with roll in shower. I specifically said, no tub. We got there checked in and lo and behold my room had no toll in shower.

So I rented a room that my travel companion coukd not shower . I told the front desk , he apologized but no offer of getting me a room I reserved. My guess he had given my room to someone else.

The breakfast was ok but I also called before coming and I was told biscuits and gravy, bacon sausage. That was not true either. So BEWARE if you truly need a handicap room.

We always stay at the Hampton Raleigh Durham Airport on our way to the beach staying to and from To get closer to home we stayed at the Greensboro Coliseum Hampton requesting a first floor double queen. Reservations confirmed we had a 1st floor room as did the desk at the motel when I made a follow-up call to confirm.

Upon arrival we discovered we were on the 5th floor. For safety reasons (and other reasons I cannot stay above the third floor i asked to be moved. The best they could offer was a King room with no roll away for two adults and one grand child.

I was trying to make a reservation on line. 2023. I could not change it. I called the Hampton Inn front desk where I was trying to book. I had checked online first to see how far out I could make a reservation & Hilton properties said 365 days.

The person who answered my call had a very heavy middle east speech and was very difficult to understand. I was on the phone with her for over 2 hours because I could not understand her. This leads me to wonder if the Hilton company is outsourcing everything to foreign countries.

I stayed at Hampton Inn by Hilton in Sprngdale-Providence Rhode Island on August 12th-13th in room 210.. The air conditioner was on automatic all afternoon with no issues. Upon going to bed, the air conditioner kept shutting off. The temperature in the room was in the 70's and, due to humidity, felt much hotter.

My wife and I got out of bed repeatedly to turn it back on but it would only stay on about a minute before shutting right off again. At exaclty 3 am my wife called the front lobby and spoke with Sondra or Sandra who told my wife that there was noone that could come down and see what the problem was.

It wound up being an uncomfortably long and sleepless night.

I had a bad experience during my recent stay at NYC Madison Square location. I'd purchased a new bathing suit on my trip. The suit was still in its original bag from the store, and the whole bag was thrown away by the cleaning staff. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the suit so I can try to buy another one (the one I bought is now sold out). The suit was $41.94 (2 pieces) from SuperDry (the receipt was still in the bag). I tried to call the location about this but was immediately placed on a long hold and eventually had to hang up.

My Granddaughter works at the Hampton Inn in a smaller Wise County town so we try to use Hampton Inns when we need a hotel. They have the employee discount, supposedly but she is never able to use it. We booked a room for 2 at the Hampton Inn in downtown Dallas online.

The price was supposed to be $192. a night. 00 (no choice) for valet parking. That's over $700. For a two night stay for an employee of the company. If I was a wealthy person, maybe that wouldn't be so bad, but not being wealthy, I am highly upset at all the add on prices and will be staying elsewhere.

Did a 2 days reservation at Hampton Inn Manchester. When I went to have a shower I almost fell because the bathtub was so greasy dirty. I had to have shower holding the security bar. When I called the front desk to complain I got an answering machine at 7:30am..

Later the General Manager, Fuad Nasser, called me not to apologize but to suggest that if I was not happy I could leave the hotel. I asked if I would get my money back and he said yes. So, I talked to my husband and we made a reservation at a good hotel that we know..

Before leaving I stopped by and ask a receipt saying that the Hamptons Inn would refund me one day that we we’re canceling for his own suggestion. Mr Fuad Nasser was extremely aggressive and said he would not give any receipt to me but Expedia would refund my money.…

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Springfield Missouri on July 30 and 31, 2023 I specifically wanted to stay there because I wanted/NEEDED to use the pool and hot tub. I learned after I had unpacked and was heading to use the pool that the pool was closed with furniture and boxes all around it.

I have arthritis and had been driving off and on for several days. I needed the pool. The pool offers low impact exercise for my knees and shoulders. The clerk informed me that it was posted on the website. My response, no it wasn't.

I have a copy of the reservation when I reserved the room. She made the comment, "I don't know why they keep taking that down". I specificcaly chose your motel for the pool and hot tub. I looked again tonight at the website.

Stayed at Hampton inn in Pueblo co, my car was broken into. Security was no help they seen it happen customer service was no help they took everything that I had I was just traveling through. My windows were shattered they couldn't even help me clean up the glass I did call the police but you had to make an online report they would not even come out.

I was traveling by myself and no one seemed to care at Hampton inn terrible experience when nobody cares

THGIS IS A COMPLIMENT - NOT A COMPLAINT

My wife and I have stayed at the McKinney Hampton Inn twice. On both occasions we were greeted by Jalinda Bell, the breakfast attendant. She should be called "BREAKFAST HOSTESS" as she makes everyone feel welcome when entering the breakfast area. She displays true Texas hospitality and checks with guests to see if the breakfast area meets with customer satisfaction.

When we travel we try to book overnights at Hampton Inns. We are familiar with the breakfast layout. Normally, we will see the attendant come out from the prep area to restock breakfast items. But, Jalinda makes it a point to welcome guests and make sure that they are pleased with breakfast. Last year when we stayed at the McKinney, Texas Hampton Inn we were getting ready to go to the…

On July 30, we had dinner at Hampton Inn by Hilton Newark Airport. While chatting, the lights were turned off in the dining room. We called out that we were still there, and a young man turned a light back on, but a woman yelled from the back to turn it back off!

He halted but ultimately turned the lights off before we could leave. When we paid our bill, or at any other time, we were never asked to leave or told the dining room was closing, This was mean, dangerous, and unnecessary!

I am 70 years old and use a cane. We had a 4-year-old, and his headphone cord was dangling. I had a fully packed black plastic bag under the table. (I mention the color because it was a challenge to find and contain its contents) We had take-out dishes on the table.

I stayed in Laramie last night and tonight at the Rock Springs Wyoming Hampton Inns. Both had terribly tattered flags. This is not appropriate and upsetting to veteran families! If this is any example of ALL the Hampton Inn's, I believe a corporate message needs to go out to each facility to check on the status of their flag.

The corporate flag flying under the American flag in Rock Springs is in faded and torn condition. FIX THIS!
