To whom it may concern,

I would like to make a formal complaint about one of your employees whom works at the Harris Teeter on Highland Creek Store #122 the employee name is Emanuel he works in the meat department. I came in on multiple occasions and he was very rude and unprofessional everytime and I didn't like how he handled things and I will not be returning back there if he is still there.

Me and my son went shopping today 07/23/2023 to get a couple things from Harris Teeter my son wanted to get some of the white castle hamburgers or chicken sandwich as I always do I look at the dates of what I buy and Harris Teeter head dates as far back as 2022 trying to sell them to customers who may not look at dates like I do , but it’s still a damn shame to have 2022 food on the shelf that expired .

I shopped at the Bowie location Wednesday/ June 7th, and experienced a male sitting on the store scooter in the area where the scooters are kept, begging for money from everyone coming in! The senior customers were getting annoyed as they should be!

I will not be shopping here if this continues. This store is deemed unsafe as I've seen an increase of beggars bothering customers for drug and alcohol money.

There is a big problem with deli manager in bacon bridge store!!! She is a racist!!! There was a white employee talking what looked like her husband and she physically pushed her with hands on her back away from him.

She then went back to talking to her black friend. I have heard about this department since moving here. I worked in the food industry for 42 years and I NEVER laid my hands on another employee for any circumstance!!!!

This is clearly a racist woman!!!!

Road Rage complaint. Today (3/22/23) at or about 5:35pm, a Harris Teeter tractor trailer driver just intentionally ran me off the highway (route 301 in Upper Marlboro, MD) because he was upset that I changed lanes at least two car lengths in front of him when coming to a stop at a stop light on Route 301 at Dyson Road (Upper Marlboro, MD).

It appeared to me that he had plenty of time to stop.

However, he got upset and rolled right up to about 2 inches from my bumper and held down his horn. After the light changed and we proceeded further down route 301, I changed lanes again and this time he was at least 6 car lengths behind me.

He hurried up to tail gate me because he was mad. When I merged into the right lane to make a right turn onto Old Indian Head Road, he intentionally ran me off…

The customer service line at Harris Teeter is horrible. The people answering the phone have no idea how their computer system operates. If there is a problem with a home delivery, they tell you it is Instacart’s problem. I asked how to adjust a tip and they told me to look at the order and there was a place to change the tip, but they did not know where that was. They are idiots.

They know they are idiots. Harris Teeter’s service line is absolutely below 1 star.

I was in the self check out line today and I scanerd my products and the attended walked up to me and accuse me of not scanning my two products and took the meat out my hind then she saw I had actually scanned it and she got defensive and at first refused to get a manager but one came eventually and

nothing was done about it. This is the first time I ever been in this store and it's the last I promise you that I am going to speak to a lawyer and see what my next course of action is it's totally unacceptable.

on 2/8 at 10:24pm I went to the checkout area to check out. I told the lady(CHEC 503) that I always had trouble scanning my orders. I asked her to please help me. I was told in a very demeaning way that it was very simple to scan, and with some dramatic effects she demonstrated.

I immediately let her know that I did not appreciate the demeaning attitude. she said that she was not demeaning and did not intend to come off like that, after another exchange we did not speak anymore. I have shopped at this store since it opened, this was a first.

part of her problem is youth. their attitude seems to be, get your stuff ,pay and get out and don't bother me.

I witnessed an altercation this morning at your store located at 4641 Duke St, Alexandria, VA @10AM. There was a young man (employee) that was stocking the milk area and a customer/woman came up to him and asked him if he knew where she could find an item she was looking for.

(I was standing right beside them looking at my list) and this Harris Teeter employee VERY sharply tells her " I don't know lady, it's somewhere down there, stop bothering me! " He quickly cuts her off and just starts yelling at her to leave him alone, calling her names, and telling at her to go find herself a man!

There is a time limit for each customer that sits in the dining area. The 45 minute policy is posted on the wall of this dining area. There is a store camera that has recorded the activity. The person sits in the dining area for the majority of the day.

This individual is a white male with grey colored hair and wearing the same clothing. A black colored jacket with blue jeans. He leaves trash on the tables and electronic wires. I have seen him eat with a female employee and make physical contact.

The individual has made verbal remarks towards a male employee that has questioned him. He has slept on the tables regularly. I have had the store manager informed of this activity, but I don’t think that the store manager is concerned. This individual has continued.

Harris Teeter does not provide delivery services. InstaCart is horrible and offers no assistance for their mistakes. Harris Teeter no longer stocks some of their most desirable products. Their replacement for their quart size half and half tastes awful, does not froth and is beyond expensive.

Their service and quality have deteriorated. I assume many feel the same. We need better alternatives to Harris Teeter and Walmart. We need our neighborhood grocery stores to return.

Pharmacy in Wilmington NC Porters Neck refuses to call the Doctor when a prescription expires or if there is a problem with a prescription,Clerk said it is the customer's responsibility. Other pharmacies i.e., Walgreens, CVS provide this service.

Store 413- There is the most disrespectful manager on the late shift at store 413, name tag says Jo. Blonde haired African American woman, who has the worst attitude, spoke with other HT staff and they confirm she isn't the best at customer service or engaging as a manager.

I enjoy patronizing the store since it's local to me. But, i suggest you drug test her, because the attitude is not forth coming.

I have been a supporter of Harris Teeter on St. Simons Island for 25 years even though I live 25 miles away . My husband and I have recently become disabled so I order the pickup on line . We did this today and had ordered 5 Porterhouse steaks at $ 7+ per pound.

We had had these before and they were excellent. We picked up our order and when we arrived home there were no steaks. We immediately called and they said they were out of stock and when I asked for a substitution they said they had none, I think what made it worse is the attitude of the associate I spoke to.

She was not helpful at all and what has made it worse is that a friend went over there this morning and bought steaks! We had placed our order on Friday. The excuse was have you opted in on text message ? We shouldn’t have to.…

I bought steak that was rotten and black that wasn’t visible from the packaging covering it . I had to throw it out and went back to the store with my reciept to get refund and they said I needed to bring the item to get a refund and they couldn’t do anything about it.

I was not going to put rotten smelling steak in my car to take it back. I will never shop there again.

I am a long time shopper and pharmacy user over 20yrs now and recently the Pharmacy at Harris Teeter NoMA DC 20002, has been very unpleasant dealing with Prescriptions and Refills. I shop almost every day at harris tester in cary nc on walnut st. I only buy a few things each day and enjoy a good parking spot. The employees are taking up the best spots all day long. I have never seen a business allow employees to park in the closest spots.

This is a follow up to my last complaint, where I received some calls from the manager but specifically wrote an amendment to the complaint that I do not talk to people over the phone, especially in situations like these, but the service that connected the manager must not have alerted them. While I do appreciate the effort to reach out, I only want this done over email for now. Furthermore, the butchers who discriminated against me and got aggressive appear to still be working there. I've been working in the store as a Coke vendor for 2 weeks. The receivers are rude and curse all the time. And told my boss to not touch anything in there store. The manager Julie has allowed other vendors and her employees to take their pallets out with no spotter after 9am.

When I did the same she ran and harassed me about not having a spotter. The manager continues to complain to Coke and takes pictures while I'm in the store working. They have had alot of managers in this store.

But the management is horrible and as a vendor someone needs to correct these issues.

The butchers at Harris Teeter on Friendly Ave. near Guilford College, Greensboro, NC are absolutely rude and unprofessional. If they hate customers and their jobs that much, please let them go. I don't know if it's racially-motivated or what, or if they just don't like me, but I often go to that area of the store to pick up lox and ingredients such as these, where I steer clear of them. I originally was curing my own salmon and had to flag one of them down from the back, where they were very aggressive, pushy, rude about "which one?!" with the fish filets. I was at your store # 208 today 9/1/22 at 3:46 to do some light shopping (before my large shopping tomorrow) when i needed to use the rest room. Upon going into the restroom, I noticed the urinal was occupied so I went into a stall when I immediately noticed there was smeared poop on the floor around the toilet.

At that point I should have left the building, but I have an enlarged prostate and had to urinate badly. I tried to position my feet around the poop and thought I was successful but after shopping and then driving home I noticed a terrible odor.

When i got home I realized there was poop smeared on my floorboards and stuck in the treads of my shoes. I took me quite a while to get all the poop out of the treads of my shoes and had to scrub my floorboards, all the time while…

Today for the fourth time, I got home with my groceries, opened a package of lamb chops, and had to turn around and return them because they were literally rotten. This has happened twice before with shrimp and once with cod.

I thought it was time I raised the complaint. I am a personal chef who cooks for people who are seriously ill. I can't afford to poison them and neither can you.

I went to customer service desk to ask about buying a gift card. I wanted them to explain how to get my 4X fuel points. I spoke to Karl @ store #475. Karl was rude and confrontational. I went to check out and before I checked out I spoke to the young lady and asked her if she knew how the 4X fuel points worked and she said it will automatically happen once you pay.

Well, that wasn’t the way it worked, because I didn’t get my 4X fuel. Went back to customer service and spoke to Ethan who was very helpful and took good care of me. Karl is not a good customer service person you want to help your customers.

While I waited for Ethan to finish, another man came to the desk and Karl was very short and rude with him also!

Your staff is great and always provides great Customer Service and goes beyond to ensure customers are satisfied. The store Manager Pat Martinage is not Custom Service focused nor friendly. His always short and seems to want to be bothered.

This is a business that accommodates all people not some and be because of that as a manager you need to be prepared to Handel all situations to accommodate the customer and the company. Please take the time to determine if he needs more training or placed in a position when he does not come in contact with customers.

I just visited the Harris Teeter on Augusta Road in Greenville SC & the woman behind the bar is the rudest bartender I have ever dealt with in my life. Who needs answers when you can just get a glare & a grunt in response? I AM A BARTENDER.

I am a retired senior and I purchase from your store regularly. I live across on a budget. I visited your store on February 26. Purchased a 12 inch turkey and ham sub. Tge gentleman who waited on me was very friendly and demonstrated good customer service skills, up unto tge time that put my sub together.

He used white bread which had been sitting out so long until the roll was not edible. You could break your teeth trying to bite into that bread. Very disappointed. You have the sub buns sitting out uncovered getting hard as a rock.

Hello, I live in Ashburn, Virginia and go to the Ashbrook Commons Harris Teeter. I do both my shopping and I use their pharmacy. Honestly, I have NEVER used a pharmacy where the employees didnt know what they were doing and the man pharmacist is the rudest most demeaning individual.

At harris teeter today, we went through the self checkout. 23, and we had inserted $50 when the machine jammed. The person in charge of self checkout voided the payment and called the managers to open the machine and give us back our money so we could re-do the transaction.

I registered for a third Moderna vaccine and senior flu vaccine appointment on October 1, 2021, 5:15 pm at the MD Park Potomac Harris Teeter pharmacy, confirmation code C58601E6. The reason I chose Harris Teeter was the same day availabilities of appointments.

After leaving work early and fighting rush hour traffic, parking, etc. I found myself waiting for about 25 minutes at the pharmacy while prescriptions were being filled, one having particular problems. When someone finally checked me in, there was a lengthy process of registering me in and preparing for the vaccines.

So my husband and I started scanning our items there was an older white lady there that had a very nasty and rude demeanor, this is my second encounter with the same lady. She proceeded to come over and tell us that we were bagging items as if to insinuate that we were stealing.

I grabbed all of my bags even things that I had already bagged up and I proceeded to go to a register where someone could ring us up and re-bag our items so that we would know that everything was paid for. I made a complaint to the manager, He did not seem as if he was phased by what I was…

I was at the Tryon Village store in Cary, NC, and overheard an employee, Donna, being rude and yelling at another employee. It was really upsetting, and I felt bad for the employee. Someone needs to make a stand against employment hostility. Thank you!

I was in your store#284 at 43300 Southern Walk PLZ this afternoon when I went to use the ladies room. I could not believe what I was seeing. This was not only dirty it was filthy. It needs to be totally gutted.

I am sure I will not be returning. Needless to say I did not use that ladies room.

Store #129 Complaint about store manager Chris Blackburn physically threatening my bf Martin Freda after the pharmacist Rene refused his pain medication after an oral surgery bc he was in pain and coming off the stuff they gave him, when I tried to explain to Rene the situation, she yelled at me bc my bf was being loud bc he was in pain and

refused to fill his script or send it to cvs for him and then Chris the manager got in martins fave and physically threatened to knock the rest of my bfs teeth out bc he didn't wanna get out of the store and I had to get in-between them.

This is unprofessional and the pharmacy needs to have 2 pharmacist scheduled so people can get their meds when one of them is on lunch !
