I have getting over charged for the same car rental over 27,000 on top of I was sexual harassed by hertz employee when I refused he wouldn't fix my Uber where I could work. So I transfer contract to another location and things started to come up missing out of the car.

Until my driver's license and bank came up missing I reported to the police October 26,2023. Hertz used that stolen bank card nov 13, 2023

If it were possible to give this company a negative 1,000,000 I would. I am a travel nurse and I am currently working in South Dakota. My family and myself are from Virginia. My truck that I use to haul my camper needed to go into the shop for a few days and I needed a rental car to have to back and fourth to work in. So I reserved a car online, had everything squared away just to be told on pick up that I needed to show proof of a flight out or to put a major credit card on file.

We have just returned back from holiday after using Hertz UK LTD We dropped off the car on the return date (June 29th 2023) at 7.36 am to Hertz Car Rental - Lhr - London Heathrow Airport - Northern Premier Road

One of the extremely confusing emails we were sent immediately after dropping the car off stated we were charged for EXTRA CLEANING / SPECIAL CLEANING. I have requested photographic proof behind the reason for the cleaning but have not been sent anything.

money was taken out of my bank without me having a chance to dispute the charges

I was instructed to board the courtesy bus and that everything was ok. obviously not the case because they charged me. I did not get the option to wait around and nothing was explained to me at drop off.

the employee first told me I was waiting in the wrong line, wouldn't give me the receipt or tell me how much my invoice was before swiping my card, and then proceeded to yell at me when I told her I needed a receipt, saying "are you telling me what to do? Don't tell me what to do". This is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm a customer who frequently rents cars, and, unless I get an apology, this will be the last.

I had over 7,000 hertz rewards points. recently after checking my account, I saw all the points are gone. I spoke to a company representative who said they were the manager there. She said there is nothing they can do to retrieve my points (even though I spoke to 2 different representatives the week before who said they will return them to my account) She openly admitted that they recently changed their policy without notifying any customers and

I would recommend never using Hertz Rent A Car. I'd gone in at a recommendation because my car was in the shop due to an emergency. I had a full checking account and they refused to take the money out of it after my credit card had been stolen and I was waiting for it citing some "credit" issue with the debit card.

Then they seemingly started sending out people to threaten me because I had no choice but to use another service. I know it was them because I kept getting public complaints about my car in random places. These people are a kind of mafia I see, and they have connections to several large companies in the area that don't tolerate people using other services.

I have been a Hertz Gold Member for over 24 years. I have been loyal and grateful for the consistent and reliable service. I recently had an experience in Las Vegas that has caused me to write to you in hopes that this will be a wakeup call for Hertz, as well as for you as CEO.

I am a hertz car rental gold member. On April 24 I rented a car from Hertz at Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport. to be returned on May 16 I was told to pick up any car from the 5 stars or president circle which I did.

I was given a Hertz Rental Record receipt.

On 4-12-2023, I rental a vehicle from your location in Austin, Texas, (TXAUS16/0767816. The rental record is 177972281 for a 2019 Honda CRV. On Friday, 4-14-2023, I attempted to start the car and the battery was dead. A local mechanic was able to start the car and I discovered the battery was leaking, and was very corroded.

Picked up the rental, after taking nearly 2 hours. The rep was fine and very helpful. This complaint was not about him. When I exited the parking garage at the airport (which was dark), I realized there was a good amount of dog hair left in the vehicle.

It was obvious that it was poorly cleaned out. We have a 10 hour trip ahead of us and we did not have time to clean or take this vehicle back. We are so disappointed and will never rent from Hertz again

Regarding my first complaint, I reiterate that the HERTZ employee in Torres Novas demanded that I deliver a physical credit card when I explained that I had the card on my mobile phone. After being denied the rental without the physical card, I ended up withdrawing money for this purpose. From March 14-20, 2022 we were guests at the Hilton Garden Suites on Stevenson Freeway in Dallas, TX. We were left out of the system for parking privileges.

Premier Parking is owner of the lot and we incurred penalties, some amount that we are unsure of but with the punitive super charge it came out to $147+/day. This was done eight times. Rental Record # 127510095 Picked up rental at MCO.

First few days were OK. Car then started to show some problems. The following Saturday we left for the airport to pick up friends who were spending some time with us. They texted us upon their arrival. As we attempted to leave cell lot at MCO, car did not start.

Needless to say, beyond our embarrassment, we were unable to get them, requiring alternate transportation to Cocoa Beach. After what seemed an interminable delay, the car finally started and we made it back to our destination, arriving AFTER our guests.

It is generally up to the rental car company to set their policies regarding extended use or late returns, as long as they are legal and not discriminatory.

In my specific case, and as seen by the attached statement of my assistant, Sue Grace, she notified the Hertz rental car company that I would be returning the car late, and they did not warn her about additional fees. It is generally considered unethical for a rental car company to fail to disclose important information, such as fees, to a customer. Customers have a right to be informed about the terms and conditions of a rental agreement, and failure to disclose such information can be deceptive and cause inconvenience or financial harm to the customer.

I purchase a car with hertz, October 4th, 2022 through lyft. While working with Lyft a car hit me on November 17th. While I couldn’t work and was trying to swap my car(which they gave me a hard time about it, they made drive to car to Des Plaines.

Saying the car will be ready at 1pm. I ended up waiting for 3 hours till I couldn’t wait anymore because I had to go work. The next day I went in and she got mad at me because I couldn’t wait any longer for a swap car.

I return the car and they billed me $3000… where did things charges come from and I was doing lyft to pay this off. I want these charges off my account immediately. This is unfair and unprofessional.

In Hawaii (Maui) to rent my my vehicle, rental record# 839069335. My experience with Ryan, if that's even his name, was less than desirable. He was extremely rude and flippant. $200 was the expected rate to hold for incidentals, although he ran the card to hold $400, after I requested no insurance.

He never offered me no insurance, only 2 options of low or higher amount. I literally had to ask for more options. To which he then began questioning me about my insurance coverage. Every reply got more rude regarding my rental.

I asked for a supervisor/manager and he stated that he was the manager. I look forward to speaking with someone who can improve this experience. Not to mention, the car was not the cleanest.

Did prepay rental on4/17, picked suv up on 4/19; was told they had to put us on biggger suv at no extra cost but had to have credit card instead of the debit card I had used on line. They issued me a credit and said it would take 3-5 business days.

Then after we returned car on 4/25 was told credit would not show up until 7 business days. It has now been 9 business days and my bank still can’t see the credit. Called 800 # and could not talk to a person; called and LM for mgr at local store.

Hertz has franchise and corporate location which are mainly located at airports. If you rent a car from a corporate location and have an issue with the car, you can’t get a replacement at a franchise location. So, no matter where the corporate is located, that’s where you have to go even if it hundreds of miles in any direction from where you are.

Good luck trying to find a location, and getting someone locally to answer the phone. Basically, you are up the creek.

I was in a car accident with one of your rentals. It was a head on collision which was not my fault. This happen on 10/24. I am so disappointed because I have call almost every day to see I I can get a rental.

I called because I got charged the wrong price for my rental. When I tried to get help from customer service I talked to a gentleman by the name of Nicholas. He already seemed annoyed as if I was bothering him.

While I’m the phone after every time he said something or answered my question he would breath heavy. He provided no explanation and never answered my question. I requested to speak with another agent he said they were all busy.

Car rental, 8/8/2021 – 8/13/2021, McCarran Airport

When I arrived at the pick-up lot, customers had to wait over a half hour in 100-degree weather because there were no cars. When I finally got my car, a 2019 Chevy Malibu, with 63K miles, the car was filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. I had to drive back to McCarran airport to change cars and was given another 2019 Chevy Malibu. The car was not clean and I noticed some odd things about its transmission. Upon driving it, I found out that, on hills, with the gearshift in reverse, the car went forward! This is a major safety hazard and could easily cause an accident.

The rental charge was $388. I have been unsuccessful at being compensated. I filed complaints with Hertz and the Better Business Bureau.

Hello, I made a reservation online for a car rental in Portugal from 8/25/21- 9/4/21. When I went to pick up the rental they didn't have the car I wanted, I wanted a small car they gave me a Jeep.

I ended up paying extra for GPS which I couldn't get it to work, I would put in the address it would give me other addresses I wasn't able to put the address I wanted, after the second day I gave up. I ended up paying extra for a GPS that I couldn't use.

My mom lives in Portugal I had to use her phone as a GPS. I would like a rebursment. I would like someone to contact me about this issue.

I rented a car on six Dash two Dash 21 from the Minneapolis a International in Airport. I had reserved it ahead of time. When I was checking out the agent asked me if I wanted insurance and I declined stating that my regular car insurance would cover me.

She stated that it would only be $33. She neglected to tell me or emphasize that it would be $33 per day.

Vacation with my family in Orlando Florida From 04/3/2021 - 04/07/2021. The lady - Monica at the Hertz front desk ( Orlando Airport ) told me that I could Not use my car Insurance for Hertz rental car. That rentals car in the Airport work different.

99 per day for Extra Insurance. I called my car insurance to explained what just append and they told me that the information the lady told me was not truth that I could use my car insurance for my rental car.

I have been trying to call and get my money back -No one has call me back -its been 2 weeks. I fell that they took advantage of me. No Professionalism at all -Bad customer service - My rental car $800 For 5 days -was more expensive than my hotel ........

We are writing this letter to inform you of an unpleasant, frustrating, and time-consuming experience we endured during our Dollar Rental Car rental from March 18 – 20, 2021. Due to the lack of customer service, being misled regarding your reservation policies, and the hours we have spent trying to find answers, we strongly feel we should not have to pay Dollar a fee for such an inexcusable series of events. We are requesting a full refund.

Upon arrival at SFO Dollar rental counter, we were dismayed to find we were the 11th customer waiting to be assisted and only one agent behind the counter. Three other stations remained vacant until we had been in line about 45minutes. So we waited over an hour in line…

I have been a loyal Hertz business customer for over 30 years. Apparently, the points earned by loyal Hertz customers had their expiration period reduced from 24 to 18 months when there is no activity in their accounts. I was not made aware of this change, via mail or email. I was also not warned when my points were about to expire. And, Hertz is one of the few travel rewards programs that does not include an expiration date for points in members online accounts.

I was laid off from my job as head of national institutional sales for a large investment firm in Sept 2019 and I found a new job in Jan 2020, just prior to the covid pandemic.
