I’ll start by saying, my wife and I stay at holiday inn in Hammond Louisiana a lot, it’s always been very nice till this time, we rented a room for the week o may30, 2021- may June 4 2021 we paid good money for this week and today has been absolutely miserable Monday may 31 2021, it appears the manager has let their relatives and friends have the pool for the day and they are not paying to stay here, the noise outside is totally uncalled for, can’t relax at all, people and traffic non stop.

I’ll show you photos of the vehicles and 10 to 15 people who have been here all day and are not paying guests, I really hope this matter gets looked into, it’s really not fair to the people who have paid hundreds of dollars to stay here and absolutely no enjoyment at all, I’ve talked to other guests…

The hotel manager refused to give me a room that my boss paid for. Refuse to talk to my to work this out. Saying, “I don’t have time for this “.

Meanwhile I been driving all night and had no room. He finally threw the room key at the other drivers and said fine just have you boss work this out. Now after all that when my boss called. He was so nice to him.

Yes we have it all fixed he said and I sent food up to your driver. No he didn’t send my food he never apologized for at most how rude he was. I have stayed in hotels all over the country this was my wortstay, EVER.

I am in a different hotel every week. I will not recommend drivers stay there.

I would give you a 0 if that were a choice. I had to make a last minute reservation so I CALLED your hotel in Idaho Falls, ID, NO ANSWER. I had to book my reservation in line!! I had a confirmation number.

My son and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express in East Harrisburg, PA between May 14-16, 2021. We were required to stay there in order to particpate in a baseball tournament. If not required to stay there, I would have left immediately.

Our room, room 101, reeked of cigarette smoke. Other families complained their room reeked of marijuana. These were non-smoking rooms. They were also exorbitantly priced compared to several much nicer accomodations we've stayed in over the past three years. Upon arrival, we were notified there would be a $50 incidental deposit.

Although this was not made known earlier, and we do not typically see this in our frequent hotel stays any more, we paid it. Of course, there are no incidentals to be had?! No stocked mini fridge, no pay-per-view. So what sort of…

I’ve chosen to stay at Holiday Inn for many years and have always had a pleasant experience. I didn’t think twice to book it for the day before and the day of my daughters wedding given that it was out of town.

On the day of check in, I noticed remodeling happening inside the hotel. I was also notified that the pool was not working which was a dissapointment but things happen. On the day of the wedding, I went to the front desk to ask if there was a bar stool type chair because my daughter and I, as well as other family members, would be getting our makeup and hair done in the room.

I know that Holiday Inn prides itself on excellent customer service, so I am writing this to advise you of an unfortunate situation I recently encountered at one or your hotels. My mother passed away approximately two months ago. A couple of weeks ago, I flew to Tennessee, where my mother lived, to assist my brother in preparing my mother’s house for sale.

My sister-in-law flew to Tennessee to assist with the process. My sister-in-law and I departed Nashville, TN, on the afternoon of May 7, 2021, for Southern California, where we both reside. After a couple of long days on the road, we arrived in Amarillo, TX on the evening of May 8, 2021.

Because we were traveling, we were unable to book our hotels in advance.

My first compliant began with the traveling agency with whom I made the reservations. I made reservations for two of my siblings who along with myself were attending funeral services for one of our dear cousins.

I booked a room in April for one night stay on June 13, 2021, at the Holiday Inn Express in Saugus, Massachusetts. I did this by calling the toll free Holiday Inn number. Yesterday, May 21, 2021, I called again to book another room on June 23, 2021.

This is when I was told there is no shuttle service to Logan Airport. , shuttle back to the hotel for the night and travel home in the morning. When I was told there is no shuttle service, I asked to cancel the June 13 reservation.

I was told that I booked the reservation through Priceline and it could not be cancelled unless I cancelled through Priceline. My son made a reservation in his name with my card online. I drove 8 hrs to Maryland and was told that the reservation was in my sons name but my card that it had to be canceled and then the rate that I had a reservation for they refused to honor.

They charged me 200 dollars for one night. Refused to take my husbands AARP card for the discount. For 2 days I was charged 600. They then did not have a manager to rectify it. I canceled the additional night they then did not put the money back on my card!!!

Because they did not know how. The first room I was given the air conditioning was falling off the wall. I had to go back downstairs to change rooms. Then I had to go back again about WiFi and call a number to get access.

I wanted to share a disappointing experience at one of your locations this past week-end. My husband has been a Rewards member for several years and we have stayed at many wonderful Holiday Inn Express locations over the years. And they all have been great, until this week-end.

We were visiting family in the Chicago suburbs and found a location in Downer’s Grove, about 10 minutes from where we needed to be. We usually stay with family when we visit the area, but several other family members came in for this event, so we decided to stay at a trusty Holiday Inn Express. Upon checking in at the Ada Oklahoma location, it appeared to be a nice quiet modern hotel, at checkin I used my credit card but they told me they wouldn’t charge it till check out which was fine with me . My famiky and I was staying there during a home remodel .

Please nix the music in the lobby and outside the hotel it is extremely annoying or if you insist upon having music how about classical or light music played softly and we certainly don’t need the music outside when we come into the hotel. Enough noise pollution. We often stay at Holiday Inn express and think you have comfortable beds snd the rooms are always fine it’s just the music, totally unnecessary.

I recently stayed at the holiday Inn and was charged $250 for a room because apparently it smelled of smoke!

First things first I don’t smoke,my guest didn’t smoke at all he went outside and the floor we stayed on smelled of weed! Tried to reach someone about getting a refund for the $250 b/c it’s ridiculous but ofcourse no luck nor wanting to work with or hear the situation!

Only 2 sets of towels in the room with 3 guests-I went down around 11:30pm to get another set so I could shower and they had NO clean towels. I thought that this was absolutely ridiculous! I was tired and dirty and I couldn’t shower! So I need to know is this a regular part of the system or did they just fall off tonight? Either way -I’m highly upset!

I had a scheduled surgery in Lincoln on March 15-18 and stayed in this Holiday Inn Express. We have 1 dog and paid the pet fee. It was rainy and the dog did jump on the bed once and was scolded.

We were charged an additional $250 cleaning fee for this!

Furthermore, when we arrived at the room, you could tell that it had not been vacuumed with all of the cracker crumbs along the bed by the wall. The bathtub had some kind of a yellow stain in the bathtub. YES!

I realize we have no say in the matter because my credit card has already been charged; however WE WILL NEVER STAY IN A HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS AGAIN! My son works a lot on the road and usually tries to stay in your facilities, but NO MORE!

I recently stayed at a holiday inn express in Poteau, Ok and had the worse experience I've ever had at a hotel. I've stayed at many Holiday Inns over the years and never come across this issue. we traveled 5 hours to attend a wedding in this city and the marijuana smell was horrible throughout the hotel.

You can smell it as soon as you go into the hotel and in the elevator. During the night you can smell in room. It was a horrible night which we didn't sleep. I paid for 2 nights and we left before the second night because of the marijuana smell.

First room had black mold all on the plugs and starting up the wall next to where the air blows with red something splattered up the wall with boogers smeared on the mirror with a toilet paper roll holder barely hanging on the wall. They weren't sure they could move us.

Had to wait till the cleaning crew came in. Then she still had to get permission. Next room had something that looked like blood splattered on the duvet. When we pulled back the covers there was black stuff all on the sheets.

I went to the Holiday Inn off of HWY 59 in Sugar Land, TX, and not even 2 hours into the stay I hear the scream of what sounded like someone was being murdered. Yet to top it off I had a front-door neighbor who must have been on some sugar rush cause all he or she was doing was going in and out of their room and slamming the door.

My Husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn in Tampa Bay Florida located at 11310 North 30th near Busch Gardens from 4/16/21 to 4/19/21. And it was the worst stay ever. The hotel is outdated, the staff is horrible and the floors in the two rooms we were place in was filthy.

Plus the first room I was placed in ( room # 118) had a leak in the ceiling in the bathroom above the toilet. And I was told they couldn't give me another room that day. The next day I was placed in room # 207 and the floor and carpet was filthy.

I asked the lady at the front desk for clean towels and that was a problem. No one came by to clean the room while we were there. And there was no ice in any of the ice machines.

On staying at this location the entrance was dirty and supplies were in the lobby unkept. The elevator floor and walls were dingy, poor lighting when exiting elevator on third floor. Room not up to standards for our liking broken window, noisy in the hallway.

Upon exiting the next morning elevator was dirtier, the clerk behind desk looked liked he had just woke up it is 6am in the morning. Took luggage to car (handicap parking) returned to get breakfast. The food server insinuated that we came from motel 6 to get breakfast in other words she was assuming that we didn't stay there because the color of our skin.

checked in on 4/15/2021 . Enter the room to find someones shorts hanging on shower rod(not mine) . Left to go see family . Came back with grand children to find left over chips from previous guests under TV along with things in the refrigerator..

Then opened sofa bed to find it full chip crumbs. But the worst part was blood stain on sheets . I had to go to the front desk to get clean sheets and make my own beds. Then front desk personnel seemed to think this was not a big deal.

I called the complaint line , asking for my house skills to be taken off my charges and nothing. No one for 4 days cleaned my room or removed the sheets I put in the corner.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last month for 2 nights. I paid $100 for deposit that was never reimbursed. They also hit my card for $200 the day after I left. When I inquired why I was told there was smoking in my room. That is not true.

I stayed at the holiday inn historic savannah Georgia march 29-april2. I had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor. For starters there was construction going on on the third floor directly across from us and next to us. Power tools going from morning until evening, sheet rock dust on carpet wasnt vacuumed entire week Second we had a dog in The room next to us that barked in the morning to go out.

We stayed at your hotel in Vero Beach,Fl. Everyone and everything was good and comfortable. One exception to your staff if you catering person Diana. I received so really unusual service from her on the morning of April 4th 2021.

I traveled with my daughter and granddaughter. There were 4 of us in a suite. There was old water in the ice bucket. This was the Holiday Inn downtown St Louis and the room was under Ashley Ferguson.

Also the sample toiletries were used and left at the sink.

The power has went out due to a storm and as crazy as it is they have no backup generator now seeing how I have to go out of town to work today I will have to leave earlier just to get ready to leave there is no hot water the room is starting to get hot and stuffy the shower where the water comes out the spout is coming away from the wall top of the curtain is black one of the rags is dirty i had to have a different refrigerator put in the other didn't work it's been bad I ordered two drinks to the room last night they never made it up went to the wrong room the key card lock on the door keeps messing up I paid for VIP and it's hardly VIP status.

50 here each to wash and dry

00 charge for smoking. The general manager stated she found 1 cigarette butt in a can and that was proof that we had been smoking. neither my girlfriend nor I smoke. after I called back she then stated that she could smell cigarette smoke (there was burnt popcorn) I stayed there for 4 nights.

I believe the manager charged this to me as payback for complaining about the hospitality of her front desk woman. I guarantee you no one smoked in or around our room. trash is not defenitive proof of smoking. it is merely proof of trash being thrown away.

I will take this to court if I have to. I stayed at the holiday inn express n ampa ID. please contact me to resolve this immediately

We stayed at the Holiday inn express in Lompoc on 3/20/21-3/21/21. I was a total of 5 of us my husband and my 3 kids at about 3 am my daughter felt something crawling on her in the bed she woke up histérical to find a live pinch bug in the bed .

Well she couldn’t sleep that night so in the morning when I checked out I let the front desk know and I even showed her a picture. She said she can only discount 10% that is nothing I payed $145 for the night !

Very disappointed I had stayed previously at the holiday inn in Bakersfield and I loved it the service cleanliness was amazing, not here I was terrified! I have pictures to prove but it’s not allowing me to upload

We are staying at your holiday inn express in searcy arkansas and we are in room 401 and only one tv works and the manager annie was very rude and told me there was nothing she could do and also our wifi does not work either and once again we went to manager and was basically told to get over it she couldn't do anything about it so all in all I Will never be back and will spread the word about how terrible are experience was.

I was suppose to get a refund but it’s been 5 days and haven’t received it yet. The general manager was rude and not helping at all. The Muskogee branch rooms was horrible and they have drug addicts working the front desk.

Please do something about that branch before I report you guys to the BBB. Ty
