I booked for 5 people at the Swansea Mass location. We arrived on July 4th 2021and left on the 9th of July 2021. We were out all day on the 5th all that need to be done was fresh towels and the trash need to be done. That never happened.

Needless to say our whole stay it never got done. I asked the maid service for towels and I was told I could only get 3. I told her all 5 guest of the hotel needed towels she refused I got them from the front desk.

I cleaned the room, put the trash out side our door once we got back to our room later that night along with the dirty towels that were never replaced. I once again talked to the front desk and they reassured me everything would be done , no it was not this took place our entire visit.

Great Breakfast. Polite Check In. Hotel needs updating and cleaning throughout the building. Our room was not cleaned today. No clean towels, trash removal etc. Requested towels still waiting. Very disappointed and feeling Rewards Membership makes no difference.

This request was presented to the General Manager of the Holiday Inn at 102 Lake Street Shreveport, LA on June 28, 2021 following a women Veterans seminar the prior weekend. We requested that all service charges be removed because the sevice was dismal and did not meet minimal standards.

We also asked for a 30% reduction on food costs. 82) in violation of the contract signed by his staff because he said we did not purchase enough food and therefore owned room rent. His behavior toward us was rude, condscending , aggressive and arrogant.

I have issues with charges on my card. The front desk was helpful but now they will not take my calls since they know my number. I've called for 2 days off and on all day and no answer. That's impossible to get no answer for 2 days.

On memorial day weekend 2021 we stayed at the hotel located in lincoln, nebraska at 2200 wildcat drive. I did notice that you were still requiring masks so i asked if i need a mask and she said "'yes". So I went back to the car to retrieve a mask and went back into the hotel to pay and get my room key.

As i walked into the lobby i noticed a man pushing his wife in a wheelchair whom neither had a mask on. As I made my way to the elevators, a couple came up behind me and neither had a mask on.

I asked them if the gal at the from desk didn't tell them they needed a mask. They said the mask mandate ended on Friday. I went back to the from desk and told your employee that the mask mandate had expired on Friday.

Guest service unacceptable ! Rachel Mall has cold and running nose no tissue. With a bad attitude. I covered my nose and was attacked with attitude. Asked where ice was attitude! She needs to go home she’s sick! Unacceptable! I’m traveling for a month and now we are not please with the guest service.

My family block was not kept. The manager, David, reached out to me after 2 days and was supposed to look into it and get back with me. He didn't. The group person, Patti, never called me back. My toilet didn't work and Grayson didn't know how to fix it and therewas no maintenance available.

If I ever need to book for my family or myself it will never be at Holiday Inn Express. If anybody ask me about Holiday Inn Express I would advise them not to stay.

I booked a same day about 2pm hotel room @ Holiday Inn & Suites in Dearborn, MI @24041Michigan Ave through Find Hotels. I've stayed @ this location before under some else name. I arrived @ hotel to get key for my room booked (Booking ID R2630066425).

I made reservations at the Holiday Inn express on Brenton Way in Louisville kentucky for 5/29/2021 - 5/31/2021. I reserved 3 rooms thru the hotel's website. My sister reserved a room also, for the same dates. The front desk staff made mistakes on a couple of the reservations, and subsequently offered my sister 2 suites, one to be paid for, the other supposedly comped.

When checking out, it was discovered that all FIVE rooms were charged to my debit card. The hotel credited back one of my sisters reservations, but later attached it to my card again. I contacted the hotel AGAIN requesting a refund.

I recently stayed at the Tonawanda ny express for 2 nights. It was marginal at best. Several days later I was billed for a 3rd night. I called. The bill was immediately canceled. I wonder how many others, who don't look closely at their account got billed and never know it?

It was, in my opinion, a scam. Ill never use HI express again.

100 words not enough space to express my concerns. I have stayed at this Holiday for almost 3 weeks. The Hotel from Hell (IHG#241130848) staying with my daughter & grandsons. What was suppose to be a nice getaway turned trip to hell.

Before arriving we asked was the pool & jacuzzi be opened, you assured us it would. Wrong it was not. everything went to hell after that. The jacuzzi so nasty look like someone pisses in it overnight. It has a awful order and mosquitoes all around it.

I had to send my grandsons back home awful. The hotel don't clean the rooms I had to go downstairs and get sheets and towels clean myself. I ask for service never happens. The trash stays outside my door morning till night. I'm also writing BBB.

I stayed in Lapeer, Michigan When I first checked in, I was specifically asked if we wanted room cleaning. We were 4 people for 3 nights, so I said yes. Needless to say, the room was never cleaned. When I spoke to the front desk asking for a room cleaning and some towels, I was told that due to covid, they do not offer "proper" room cleanings and that we had to place our trash and used towels outside the door for replenishment.

I was not told this upon check in or else I would have complied.

Also I did not see anyone else's towels and trash in the hallway. So needless to say, we ran out of towels and our trash was overflowing. I was told that they were only replacing the amenities, which were not.

We ran out of shampoo, conditioning and toilet paper and there was no coffee replacement.…

Since, we arrived a few days ago; there have been pool issues. There are safety concerns with children and teenagers using the pool. They are jumping in 3 feet of water and jumping off of each others shoulders in the pool.

They are splashing and running around playing freeze tag. They have no parents there. Therefore, they are disobeying the clearly stated pool rules. They are also using the hot tub as young as age 4. One brother around age 8 picked up his 4 year old sister from the first step and carried her into the hot tub; as it was over her head.

We have told the lady at the front desk twice and when she tells them to stop, they smirk and laugh. No adults have been allowed to use the pool safely. Some have attempted to, but are forced to leave; like us.

In November we signed a contract for block of rooms for my daughter's wedding for 2 nights. We personally reserved 2 suites for the guys to get dressed, take pictures, have food and spend the day while waiting before being picked up to start the big event.

Confirmation emails came again in April saying the rooms were set . In addition to our 2 suites there 3 other rooms booked for Saturday Night 1 king room and 2 rooms with 2 queen beds to accommodate enough beds for the amount of people in the wedding who needed to be there Sunday morning.

Myself handicap & uses a walker & can only sit in higher seats. My husband victim of a car accident. Can't put any weight on his leg at all 79 staples after surgery. We're forced out of our room into the lobby & not granted a 1pm check out.

We need 3 people to move my husband & a certain vehicle. The manager didn't even try to accommodate us. That still left 2 hours for our room to be cleaned. I would tell handicap people NOT TO COME HERE!!! They DO NOT CARE!!!

On Friday June 25 I reserved a Handicap accessible room. The only thing handicap about it was bars in the shower. There was a bathtub as opposed to a walk in shower. Most handicap people cannot step over a bathtub including myself.

The toilet wasn't any higher than a regular toilet which is difficult. I'm not sure what kind of handicap people you cater to but it was certainly not convenient for me! This was Holiday Inn Express in Grand Island NE . Confirmation # 18495.

I made my reservation at Holiday Inn Express in Roseville in early May for a two night stay June 25 and 26. I requested a double queen room from the block reserved for the ORourke family since my wife and son were to accompany me to a long over due family memorial service.

On 6/24, a member of hotel staff reached out to a family member who arrived a day early and told them I did not pay for my room and that it would be released. As I was enroute, I couldn't be contacted.

To save the room, a family member paid for it. So, my first complaint is, why was my credit card information not taken at the reservation as is always done to hold a room? I was dismayed to find all this out upon my arrival after a 13 hour car ride from NY.

On January 23, 2021, I checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Smithfield, Rhode Island. I was quite ill at the time (non Covid) and remained in my room for a good part of my stay until February 8, 2021.

During the first few days of February, the smoke alarms in the building went off a few times; one night in particular 4-5 times in the middle of the night. All the patrons came into the main lobby as required.

I noticed one woman who had 4 young children with her and she was having difficulty keeping them together and amused while waiting each time for the OK to return to our rooms. Such situations are particularly difficult for very young children and this poor woman's children were no exception.

This was the worst experience that we every had with a Holiday INN Express. * We could not sleep due to the noise at that location. * No hot breakfast as stated * We had to call security for the noise above our room * Lamps has dust on the lid cover * The refrigerator in the room did work, instructed the desk personnel to no avail

We checked on 18th Jun,when we made the reservation we asked about a military discount and they said that they did. At the time when we checked in we asked about the discount ,we were told that we had to speak with management in the morning.

We made reservations 3 weeks ago for two adjoining rooms and drove 6 hours in thunderstorms to bring our 95 year old Mother to her 90 year old brother’s birthday party. ” Then she suddenly found my reservation but only for 1 room.

When I said there should be 2 rooms for the 4 of us, she once again questioned my ability to make a reservation. Then she found the digital information but the rooms were on separate floors! The whole point was for all of us to be together to take care of our Mother.

BOOKING REFERENCE 44783958 My wife and I are travelling on Tuesday next from Scotland for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and booked to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Wimbledon South from Tuesday 29th June to Sunday 4th July. We have used Holiday Inn often.

We stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Harrisonburg, PA, from 6/20-6/22. This hotel was deplorable. The room was not clean, the bed was not comfortable, the bathroom tub faucet leaked constantly, the tub was patched along with the ceiling, the refrigerator was dented, and the drapes were torn.

The temperature of the room when we checked in was in the 50's. We changed it to 70 but noticed right away that the room smelled awful when the room was freezing cold. We immediately reported the state of the room to the front desk and were shown three other rooms, which were worse than the room we were staying in, which was Room 123.

Even the outside of the hotel was disgraceful! I'm stunned that this hotel has been let go for so long and was so outdated. It ruined out 2 day stay in VA! I would…

Secured a room in January for my granddaughter's wedding night (June 12th) so they could leave the next morning from the Little Rock Airport for their honeymoon. Told the reservationist it would be a late arrival due to the wedding being that night.

The reservation was in my name, but had her name on it. When they arrived around 11:15 PM they were told there was no reservation and was sent to another Holiday Inn close by. They were told by that Holiday Inn that they had no reservation.

I found the confirmation number and sent them back to the 1st hotel which told them they had sold their room and were sold out and had no place for them to stay. They were not very nice and were certainly not very accommodating to this young couple.

I recently stayed in your hotel and the customer service was mediocre. We used the bath towels in our room and went out for the afternoon. When we came back there were no CLEAN towels in our room. I went to the front desk and requested clean towels and was given OLD looking blue bath towels.

My son went to use one and said they were dirty and had hair on them. I went back to the front desk and asked once again for CLEAN towels. I was given the same old blue towels and I said I was given these earlier and they were dirty and asked for other towels.

I STAYED AT YOUR Holiday embassy suites located at 201 Cary Street in Richmond VA on June 2nd to the morning of June 5th when I moved to Arlington VA. My bill was suppose to be $461 and change. When I checked in I used gift cards to pay for my room.

The clerk had a hard time so she asked me to call MasterCard to find out the balance on each card which I did. She finally took two cards to cover the bill. She wrote it on a piece of paper and gave it to me showing amount and card number.

The morning I checked out the manager was on the desk I told her I wanted a receipt so she went in to my account and found out the night clerk checked me in using gift cards and she said the clerk shouldn't have done it using that type of card.

Guy In Our room when we checked in. We were part of a baseball team with no working laundry. Got charged the amount day one, tried to switch to a credit card cause it overdrafted the account and our bank required a letterhead from hotel to be faxed to release payment and the fax machine didn’t work.

No towels available when asked night one. Elevator stopped on me, luckily was able to manually open door. The second elevator was out of order the whole time. Unexceptable

Tried to book a hotel, there was 8 slots open after I placed the reservation it was rolled over to the next day because they said they were booked. The lady that I called at the hotel said to wait like 3-4 hours and call back and see if there were any openings but it was late.

I was out of town and had kids with me and they were tired and in beach clothes and needed showers and so on. So I got charged for a hotel room that I never stayed in

My wife and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Corsicana, Texas for 4 nights. We are platinum IHG members and we used available points to book our room approximately 7 weeks in advance of the stay. We stayed here while attending the National Little Dribblers Basketball Tournament.

Us and several others from our local school chose to stay here. The service was terrible, the motel was nasty we were supposed to have our room cleaned and refreshed on day 3, it didn’t I asked for day 4 I was assured that it would be, it wasn’t!

Actually, approximately 25-30 families were staying at this site and none of the rooms were ever cleaned. All of us had to go to the clerk and ask for towels and coffee! Some rooms had trash stacked up behind the bed!

Booked reservations though RCI for June 6th through the 9th with two rooms each night. I drove over 1400 mile to get there from Illinois. I go to check in, while waiting at the desk clerk is rude to the person in front of me, a food delivery driver and a guest that needed an extra key card.

When I went to check in, he accused me of saying yes ma'am to him and he keep saying to me, "I'm a man" multiple times. I did not know what he was meaning by it, so the look on my face must of required him to explain what he meant by it.

HInn Express Charleston SC Downtown Medical Area I'm not one to complain, but someone has to be aware of the mismanagement going on over at that place. My wife and I stayed there on 2 separate occassions just a few weeks apart.

Parking is ridiculous and we were booted. Then I had to park in the garage across the street and didn't get a ticket to be validated, so I had to pay $30 full fee. All I want is to be reimbursed.

For 2 weeks I have been trying to get someone to address this situation. Ebony, the Asst Manager is very difficult to deal with and combative. After reading reviews/complaints online, it appears I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Our room was booked at least 7 weeks in advance of arrival. Upon arrival I was asked when I would like to have the room cleaned and serviced, we arrived on Tuesday and I wanted the room cleaned on Thursday, that did not happen, ok clean on Friday that didn’t happen either!

We originally were going to stay 5 nights! The room was sort of cleaned upon arrival but the carpet was very stained and had a nasty appearance. We are IHG Platinum members and have stayed at several facilities but the one in Corsicana, Texas is the worst!

On Tuesday night the fire alarm went off, their explanation oh this happens all the time! Not acceptable in my opinion and I’m a 30 year veteran firefighter!

It was dirty, had bag of garbage on the floor, someone’s hair all over the bathroom, had to wait for housekeeping to clean and change linens while we were exhausted from driving.

Nothing was done to fix the missing bed issue or any refund for the room I paid for. Front desk lady was rude said” make it work. “Never will be back again. Spoke with Jay about it at check out, he said I’d be contacted but nothing.

My wife and I & another couple were traveling through Manchester Tenn. 99. WE all were state employees from Illinois. 20 each because the The classic bait & switch. The room was just a regular room with a King bed, stains on the carpet, no exhaust fan switch in the bathroom.

It was late in the evening and we didn't have much of a choice so we stayed. I have stayed at a lot of holiday inn expresses and never had an issue like this. When travelling i seek out your motels and would like you to intervene in this issue.

We stayed in room 219 the second floor smelled of dog pee heavily and our suite hallway was releasing water i called brad at front desk who was very rude and lied to us that maintenance came but never did there are 4 of us waiting on him to show up!

I was double charged, paid online with Priceline but also charge by the hotel. Try to call hotel for help and they hung up on me. Would not help at all. I can't believe this doesn't happen with other people, should be able to be corrected easily.

This is truly a nightmare. Plus the clerk announced my room number out loud to the men standing in line behind me. I was traveling alone, I thought that was a big no no in the hotel industry to ever announce someones room number.

Last thing I was on the 1st floor and my shade would not lower I had to put pillows and bags in my window so no one could see in. I just can not believe that people do not care enough about their jobs to help someone that needed help, I'm so disappointed in your hotel!!!!!!

I was very disappointed in the the cleaning service for the money that I spent on the room the service was very poor when I checked in there was leftover food still in the refrigerator from the previous occupants maid service was very poor asked for my room to be cleaned I came back 4 hours later and my room was still dirty with no towels had go to the front desk to get towels and management only apologize for the in convenience

We were told at the desk the cost for that night would be $156. Slid under our door was a bill for 146. We were charged 166. The breakfast was terrible. Muffins were smashed, orange juice machine wasn’t even turned on and there was very little choice.

I would give that hotel an F minus
