Coming off a busy 24 hr shift, I came to see if I could get early check in at holiday inn express utica, and while by 930 am about 10 guests had checked out, Megan who was at the front desk flat out told me she absolutely cannot even try to see if she can get a room ready so I can check in early, she said absolutely no one check in before 3pm, even if you are aspire member.

To me this is zero hospitality while IHG prides in true hospitality to all guests and other guests don’t need to go through this!!

I arrived on Friday Aug 6th to find that my room still had food in the refrigerator from the previous stay of another person and my sink was not draining. I was switched to another room to find that there was hair on the mattress and dirt on the toilet seat, clearly showing someone previously used it and it was not touched by housekeeping.

We were then moved back to our original room with us being told our sink would be serviced, the smell in the room was offensive and it lingered. We had food crumbs on the floor from the previous guests. The wallpaper was dirty and the bathroom had a very distinct odor.

After driving for hours, we stopped at our RESERVED room at Holiday Inn Express in Crossville, TN on Peavine. Our first contact, Emily, was very flippant and said our room was not ready. m. m. m. She said the room was still not ready.

I said 'times up' we need our room. She became very rude, short, and immature. Amanda came to the front desk and Emily said 'you can take care of these people while I go in the back'. Amanda took over, was professional, gave us a different room immediately and everything went smooth as silk.

While speaking with Amanda, Emily kept walking around the lobby, yelled over our heads to Amanda about trash, coffee, etc. Emily does not have the right attitude nor maturity to work with the public. She is definitely not a good contact for IGH.

I have booked 2 rooms for Aug 9-11 at the Holiday Inn Houston Webster, confirmation numbers 38946050338 and 39109830279 and 2 rooms for Aug 11-12 at the Holiday Inn Houston Hobby Airport, confirmation numbers 39107036277 and R2505927236. My husband is 82 and quite ill.

I tried to cancel the reservations and get refunds. The Webster hotel said no refunds. 24 for the conf. number ending in 277 and said someone would contact us later in the day about the 236 room. No one did.

I don't understand what has happened with the Holiday Inn. We have stayed at the hotel all over the country over the years. My husband was a consultant who traveled and stayed there many times. Why do you have a no refund for cancellation policy.

I stayed at holiday inn express in Columbia SC . I was charged 2x for my stay on 4/24/21. When I contacted operations manager Stephen Ussery he said there was a software error for the month of April 2021. And would be refunded .

I've had the worst experience with the Cherry Hill location. I was racially profiled, discrimated against and accused of stealing. I swiped my card for tide pods in the pantry. The next day I was escorted off of the premises after staying at this location for 2 days no issues or disturbance from myself or guest.

I'm extremely embarrassed and hurt by being treated as such. I was charged 100 dollars for tide pods and I think that's extremely upsurd. I would like my money back asap. I paid 300 plus dollars for a drama free stay and I didn't get that at all.

I contacted Holiday Inn Express - Marion OH on July 29, 2021 due too an emergency I was unable to travel. Therefore, I needed to cancel my reservation for July 31, 2021. I was told they could not cancel - 7 day cancelation time.

First, I was not told of this cancelation policy.

I was charged an extra 65 dollars and I book on line and it was 113 dollars online no more and then the room was dirty there bathroom door was locked and it took them 3 hours to come unlock it and then I asked for towels and they said they were out asked for manager and they said they were no manager there and

There were 2 holiday inns, side by side. I reserved the one with better looking pool (no free breakfast) for the kids so they'd have something to do while we rest from traveling. After checking in at about 5 on a Sunday, we find out the pool wasn't open until the next day, after we'd already be checked out.

I called downstairs to see if the kids might could go next door to other holiday inn and they said they'd check. I never heard back so while I was downstairs I asked again and was told no. Poor service to not call me back and let me know and they were rude about it when I asked.

the people at the front desk were rude and not very nice. The bartender was more concerned about smoking than taking care of the customers. The front desk staff when i asked where nasty about that i asked them. I will never ever come to a holiday inn property again.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express Valley West Salt Lake City Utah on July 24th was unsafe and unforgettable. I chose this hotel because of the water park. The water slide was locked and unusable. The pool was so over chlorinated it made our eyes, nose and throat hurt to the point that we left within 10 minutes.

No pool towels were available so we had to walk to our room soaking wet. If that was not enough, at 12:20 PM the staff and fire dept. were banging on my window. A child had locked itself into it's room alone.

NOT MY ROOM I stay with my children! The fire dept was called to break into the room. The firemen used an ax on a metal door to retrieve the child. What a lot of unnecessary noise. Why bang on my window?

Housekeeping did not place clean tiles in room, Bed were not made each day. I had to go down both days and get towel for both room. 2nd day of stay there was no hot breakfast. Claim ovens were down.

I asked staff about the towels and was told just come down and get. When I asked for manger was given a card and Told to call her. It was front desk number. He answered while I was standing there. Given run around.

If I wanted to have to do my on housekeeping I would have stayed at a airnb. Vacations are about relaxing not having to do light housekeeping. This is the IHG in Hot Springs, Ark. we will not be staying here again or any of your properties again.

On 7/22/21 through 7/25/21 I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at 120 N Pottstown Pike, Exton, PA. During my stay, a garment bag with a suit and shoes were stolen from my vehicle. I have left several messages for the general manager, Lyn Finn (not sure of the spelling) and she has not called me back.

In my voicemail I stated I wanted to know if there is security footage of the parking spaces near the front entrance of the hotel that might show someone stealing my things. The longer it takes her to address my issue the less likely the footage will be there.

However, she has chosen to ignore me.

We stayed in room 227 at the Holiday Inn Express in Corsicana, Tx. This has been the "go to" hotel for years as the rooms and service was great.

Not anymore. Welcome to "slumsville". Upon arrival at 3:30pm. Monday, we were told our room was ready. Upon entering the room, no towels, no washcloths, no tub mat. We had to go get some. The TV didn't work.

I made reservations with Expedia for the night staying at the holiday inn express in Oklahoma City. Paid for room with Expedia, checked in and lady at desk said I needed to put card on room for damage deposit and said nothing would be charged to it.

Go up to room and room has not been cleaned, door open nothing on beds. Go back down and she moved us to another room. Checked out next morning and 3 days later I see there was charge on card for room.

Contact hotel and for no response back from management, sent letter to hotel and still nothing. Hopefully I can get some kind response back from here and a refund for one of my charges from this hotel stay.

As I was checking into one of your hotels the power went out and my account was authorized for the amount of 2 days and I was not able to check in due to that being all the money I had. I’m 9 months pregnant and no one cares about my issue or me having no where to go after something that was not my fault.

I even called my bank and they verified that this had been taken and my banker told your front desk that and they gave and I don’t care attitude. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel and I will never be back and I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I booked a room with a double bed and a handicap bathroom. When I arrived I was given only half of what I asked for. They gave me a double bed room but no handicap bathroom. When I asked them to accommodate me like I was promised.

I was told there was nothing they could do today. So we took the room under the impression they were going to make it right the next day.... Well the next day they gave me a room with a handicap bathroom and a king bed but we have 3 adult and a child so that wouldn't work.

I spent hours on the phone and nothing was done to accommodate my daughter needs. And so we could ALL SLEEP TOGETHER. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED!!!

I booked a room for 3 days in Manchester England from 7/10/21 - 7/13/21 located at 2 Oxford Rd Manchester UK. When we arrived and checked in our room there was a desk lamp that was on and we were unable to turn it off as the button was broken (and unable to unplug) as well as we had no cool air coming from our air conditioner.

The room was very hot and stuff. I went down and let the front desk know about this and they said they would have someone take a look at it while we were about about Manchester (vacation). I stayed at the holiday in. Express on Lingelsville road in Harrisburg PA. I took my family there to go to Hershey park. I had 12 people in my group therefore we had 4 rooms between us all. One of the rooms had blood on the blankets so they moved us to a different room and the room they moved us to had a long hair in the refrigerator.

One of the rooms had a jacuzzi that exploded late at night and because my family member was trying to be reasonable and not complain until the next morning they said well you already stayed here so there isn’t anything we can do for you. They told him if he called and complained in the middle of the night when it happened they would have moved him to a new room…in the middle of the night???

My husband called for a room and was told there were no rooms available we passed by the hotel and there were barely no vehicles there so i called back on a different number and was told that there were rooms available just to come on in. Its really upsetting to learn that the worker had just told my husband no rooms available and told me differently.

We do spend alot of time at hotels and this by far was the poorest service we had encountered. Im concerned that the worker is racist against men because of how fast my husband was turned down but how quickly i was helped out.

Saturday I had reservations at Lavonia Hotel. When I booked I asked specific questions at how many people would be allowed in the pool area and the guy told me there was no limit. He never told me anything about a party room I just learned that from the manager TODAY and she was no better than him.

Long story short after only being at the hotel for 30 minutes my party(5 year old birthday)was approached my the COPS not one but TWICE. We were asked to leave, which was not a problem because I would never want to stay there and they treat their guests that way.

, 5000 Hayes Place on 7/19/21. When we checked in we were greeted by a young man dressed as if he was with a biker gang. Our room wasn’t the cleanest, we checked in letting them know we would have 3 guests 2 adults and 1 child.

The room had one towel, the coffee machine had one cup of coffee and one ripped open utensil pack. We didn’t notice until morning that there was not enough toilet paper on roller and none to replace. I have stayed in may Holiday Inn Suites and this was the pits.

First, let me say I was born and raised in Bridgeport. I know the characteristics of the City quite well. It is a dangerous city and it is corrupt. That said, I chose to make my reservations there because our first experience at the hotel was awesome.

In fact, I have mentioned to many of our colleagues the experience was so great and the hotel so beautiful, staying there almost seemed like it was not even Bridgeport. I reserved three rooms. Two of the rooms were for our guests.

Both guests had to be moved to two different rooms. The first guest room there was a plumbing problem. The second guest room had a flood problem.

This is one of the worst motels I have been in where I expected exceptional service. I have stayed here in the past, but this last visit was absolutely horrible. The front desk personnel, including the "manager" were totally clueless and inattentive to any concerns for their guest's comfort.

The rooms were very nice, but the rest of the motel was dirty. The two public restrooms were out of order the duration of our stay. The pool looked like dirty bath water including a hair ball floating in the pool and was never maintained while we were there.

First, we made our reservations thru the number listed on the Orange Beach Holiday Inn on the Beach site. We used our IHG membership. When we got to Orange Beach (over 600 miles) they told me we did not have reservations even though our confirmation showed it at Orange Beach on the beach for a certain price.

The room was clean but the bed was a disaster. The bed literally was sunken in the middle like a giant hole that I kept sinking into. No good sleep at all. Hi, I didn't have time this is the same room I stayed in last time I was there. Room 201 needs upgrades bad the paint is peeling in the bathroom and the hot water or lack there of. We had lukewarm to cold showers and I didn't have time as I was helping build a Camp and didn't have time to come down to speak to you.

I lost my lip chap under the bed and went to go get it well I was disgusted and mortified. Gum, nerds, pop bottle and a few coins i use to clean hotel rooms. Staff are wonderful but the rooms leave less to be desired.

I had rented the meeting room for a graduation party and they let someone else use the room that morning after I had it set up. I also rented rooms for the weekend and was told I would be discounted for them and wasn’t.

Someone tried breaking in my car and the manager wouldn’t come in to help said it was her weekend off. I did make a police report and they even said the manager should have come in to view their cameras.

Holiday Inn Express East, Billings Montana. Under severe construction, driving up it looked closed, check in area loud and diminished, room and facility strong chemical odor. TV did not work moved to different room, no assistance. Carpet and 5 gallon buckets of adhesive stored at ends of hallway.

If properties are under construction to this degree it should be noted on the reservation page. This was so disappointing, I rely on the continuity of your properties. Breakfast was served but over the front desk. Staff was sweet and apologetic, I wonder about their chemical exposure?

Worst experience at a hotel I’ve ever had. Waited atleast 20 min to get my hotel key along with about 8 other couples. Worker on duty had no idea where cards were. Elevater sounded like it was gonna fall apart.

Ice machine area was gross. There were so many kids screaming & yelling at the pool, I had to leave bc I got a migraine. Next morning I went down for breakfast. Manager on duty stared at me for atleast 15 min while he was on phone, I was patiently waiting bc all the breakfast trays & bowls were empty & there was no coffee or creamer.

The creamer bowls were not only empty but there was lots of black hair & dried creamer stuck to the bottom of the bowls, which he did not clean out before he refilled them. This was my first experience in years with this hotel and was unbelievably…
