Trash. Utter Trash. If Home Depot won't help you fix the issue then file a chargeback with your credit card company. Just a preface but I just wanted to make it clear that I never write reviews good or bad unless it is written to help someone but this was REALLY BAD.

I spent $4800 for a brand new top of the line Washer and Dryer including installation. The installation guys arrived and started working on removing my interior garage door to complete the install. 45 minutes into the installation, one of the install guys came running into my home shrieking "OPEN THE WINDOWS, OPEN THE WINDOWS! Dear Sir,

My mother, 87 years old, had wood laminate floor installed due to her hardship with her walker on the carpet. We had installed, however, one year later, the floor in several areas have separated and we are afraid the my mother’s walker would cause her to fall with her walker. The areas are in her hallways and she, off course, is always walking through there. The store is in Lihue, Kauai.

An inspector from Home Depot came and said, yes, the flooring is defective. We have been working with home depot their managers and so far, no phone returns or emails. I am a Black Senior Citizen on a fix income. I wanted to refresh my home after 15 years ago so I chose Home Depot and they USIG for flooring. I feel Home Depot and USIG took advantage of those facts and they did not have to provide quality work in my home.

It has been a total nightmare to get quality work and resolve the bad job. On 07/26/2023, I entered into a contract with Home Depot for kitchen and foyer tile. Home Depot uses USIG for their installation in Flooring. I selected the tile and grout over the phone where the grout looks like a dark gray but ended up being a light color.

I will never order any appliance with Home Depot ever again. I am having the worst experience. I ordered Dishwasher from Home Depot with deliver and installation on Sept 18/2023. Now it’s October 2nd and still waiting for installation. They delivered the dishwasher, but when it comes to installation it has been a nightmare.

It supposed to be installed when delivered.

First time they did not install it because “the stop valve was rusted” . The second time they sent a plumber, but he didn’t do anything and left with in 2 min of arrival. According to him “the main water valve was not working”.

I placed an order for 4 items and I received an email that one of my item is in and I have to pick it up by November 19th. I didn't pick it up and the item was cancelled on November 20th.

I received an email that the second item, in my order is ready for pick up no later than November 25th. I will not pick it up so it will be cancelled on November 26th. I have not received a pick up date for the other two items in my order but when I placed the order the last item had a possible date of November 27th.

when the item will be ready for pick up. Do you really think that I am going to make 4 trips to Home depot to pick up my order! The same thing happened on previous orders. This is a lousy way of doing business!

Home Depot uses USIG for carpet and tile installation. HomeDepot do not take the tile to check with customers after paying for service. Usig do not treat the very good installers right so the installers they are using are the bottom of the barrel.

Therefore, the customer installation is very poor work. Initially, USIG installed tile in the kitchen and the installer did not put enough grout in the seams. Whenever I would go into the kitchen, I would trip over the tile. I tried resolving the issue but their Houston General Manager would talk smart to me.

General Manager need the soft skills to deal with customer because he think he’s doing the customer a favor although they’re paying for the install. On 09/11/2022, they sent the same installer that took the tile from my home and messed up…

I've been looking on line for a tool chest and cabinet combo. I found on your web site,, Husky 27 in. 11 Drawer tool chest and cabinet combo in glossy gray. 00 ( special buy item ). I visited the east wichita ks. store.

The customer service person said that they didn't have them nor does any of the other Home Depot's. I was also told that I couldn't order it on line either. So my remark to the customer service person was so its a false / fraud add.

They told me yes it was probably a fraudulent add item. Kind of just a drawn you to the store item. The store had many red and black Husky 27 in. tool chest and cabinet combo's exactly the same as the special buy item except for the color.

They would not sale one of those to me for the same sale price. WHAT A RIP OFF... bad business customer…

Went to the Pontiac Michigan Home Depot to purchase cement, asked cashier for someone to help load th 8 80lb bags, a worker came up and said, "oh I can't pick those up!" and started to leave, I said, can u please help me and the worker said " y can't u load it yourself?" I told him I have a heart problem and he said, " then u shouldn't have come alone!!" The manager ended up helping but wasn't very happy about it.

I am writing to discuss a complaint I have with service provided by your business. I went to Succasunna home depot to buy toilet and other thing as usual on August 6, 2023. I found the one that I wanted to but it wasn't on the floor. I asked for help.

A older employee came and told me that he sees 8 toilet is in stock and he will look for it. He was taking a long time and I saw another younger employee near by so i asked for maybe he can help the older employee to speed things up.

Home depot sent my carpet install estimate via email with exp date of 8/7/23 When I went into store to pay on 8/3/23, they told me that the coupon, which was never mentioned before, had expired. Said exp date was for estimate, not coupon.

Said coupon was generated by the computer incorrectly. How ridiculous is that. Won't ever deal with them again.

I ordered 2 toilets online to be delivered. My delivery arrived on time but the complaint is the driver dropped it in front of my garage, didn't ring doorbell or inform me in anyway that it was sitting in my driveway. The only way I knew is the email sent to me informing me it was delivered that prompted me to go looking. We are two 83 year old ladies looking at two 75 lb. boxes and wondering how to get this at least to the courtyard before it is stolen. I talked to Carlos Quintos about the delivery and he told me it was delivered correctly?? Without even informing us that it was out there. Sounds like a different delivery service might be in order.

I purchase a dryer last Saturday online and I forgot to add the 10% percent coupon Home Depot sent me via mail. I went to my nearest Home Depot and after waiting for at least 15 minutes, I was told by the young associate they were not able to do anything and I had to call Home Depot number and they gave me one to call.

I called the number on my billing statement and i turned out the site I called was Citibank as they are the servicer for Home Depot and said they cannot do anything and I needed to go back to the store. If I could provide zero stars, I would. The customer service is lacking at best… we placed an order on July 3rd with a tentative delivery and install date of 7/7. Date passed and no word from Home Depot at all.

We had to reach out to see what was going on. Nothing was ever stated initially that our appliance was damaged. Next scheduled date of 7/17 came and went without a word from Home Depot. Again, we had to reach out and also went to the manufacturer or the item.

They were the ones who had stated it was damaged and would be sending a new unit. Nothing from HD again… Third and final straw was delivery to take place today (7/25). Again-nothing from them until we called again to see what’s going on.

Your contracted carpet installer cost you a sale and a customer. Because I wanted my carpet installed over an existing laminate floor, he would not do it. He wanted an additional $362.00 to remove the old floor. The order was canceled by the store because I would not pay the additional fee. This is just a way to add profit to the job. As far as I am concerned if I want it to be installed on my front lawn it’s my choice. Not only that the fellow that came to measure at first said there was 410 square feet which I challenged, then he said it was 330 sf. The company that I had come in after that is doing it at 270 sf. Employee/cashier “Jonkesia” at pine island store in Cape Coral. Fl needs a day off. Not because she’s good, because she needs a time out for her attitude and disrespectful mouth. 11:35 am on 7/15. When she refused to look up my phone number for my military discount, I asked her for her name.

“why you need to know my name”. interesting that when the supervisor came to the checkout, she was then able to look up my phone number to give me the discount. I know for a fact this is not the first complaint against her.

I had a delivery scheduled and I was told, it will be between 6am to 8pm. That day, i ended up calling them 4 times to make sure it will be delivered and was told the same thing all over.

At exactly 8pm, they texted me telling me they can’t deliver due to some lame excused that an 18 yr old was not available to sign in for delivery and there was a problem in loading my order. Knowing that they ran into problem, nobody notified me ahead of time.

Furious, I just went to them and cancelled my order. The lady cashier and manager I talked to never resolved the problem.

I cannot seem to get my payments in excess of the minimum applied to my promotional balances. The last 3 months I have paid $1000 over the minimum and only a portion gets applied. I call customer service and they tell me it will be changed but then they don't do it. I have a promotion that is in danger of expiring without being fully paid despite the fact I have paid enough to pay it off. My account number is 6035320380446508. I ordered an a dishwasher from Home Depot online Friday July 07, 2023. My order was accepted then 2 minutes later cancelled. I called them they said it must be my CC. I called my CC company who informed me there was nothing wrong with CC and it had been cancelled at Home Depot”s end.

I called Home Depot the next day(Saturday), the person I spoke to could not give me a reason for the cancellation. Then on the Monday I discovered my gift card I had used now had $0. I called again and was told it would take 48hrs to reimburse the gift card from the cancelled order.

I then called on Tuesday to find out where it was as it had been 96hrs since I had placed the order. I was then told 3 - 7 business days to be reimbursed for my gift card from an order they cancelled.

I went to buy a fan at the Rogers, AR store. Three people could not help me. They said that the fans were not there. It was showing online that they were there. No manager was found. I called customer service and they hang up on me, so I left a bad review for whom ever that was.

Home Depot gives a 14 hour window for scheduled deliveries. This is a horrible practice. If you have to be home for a Threshold delivery, you can waste and entire day wondering when your item is going to be delivered.

There is NO LOGICAL REASON why , when a truck is loaded and the route is determined by the driver, that the information cannot be shared with the customer so they can plan their day. The worst delivery method we have ever seen!!

My complaint deals with a GEHL R105 skid steer and a trailer I had purchased off of Face Book Marketplace on May 12, 2023 in Athens, TN. I bought it from a Cody Hogan for the price of $16,500 and have records showing for all of our transactions!

I was in your store in San Angelo Texas (store 6807) and my experience was let’s just say unsatisfactory. Most of your employees either don’t want to help or just refuse to help out when help is needed. This has been an issue I’ve experienced for several months now and just hoped it would get better.

It hasn’t and it doesn’t seem like any of the management there cares to make it any better. I witnessed today alone two individuals getting onto a guy for apparently paging or letting others know that the employee that was loading some material was busy on the equipment and apparently she works in paint and didn’t have any help to cover the area.

In the last month I had to order 2 72” Double Vanity for my two bathrooms. Both arrived at my house with the countertops shattered in pieces. I reordered them and o e came back ok and the second arrived with another shattered countertop.

This is totally unacceptable to have 3 out of 4 countertops being broken from your people mishandling them. The box clearly shows that it’s a fragile item but these people can careless about the condition it’s being delivered. I am living in a Camper because we lost our home to Hurricane Ida and these items are the last I need to move in my home.

Ordered countertops instore. When the contractor guy from KBR (Brad), came out to measure, he said the base cabinets were off level by 1/4-1/2". I told him I was 10 min away and had shims to fix them. He said he could level them for $1,330.

82 worth of shims to fix, and I was on my way. He said he had another job, and would do it and come back. After leaving, he called later and said I needed to call KBR to reschedule another appointment.

At no point in any conversation was a $200 trip fee mentioned. I fixed the cabinet leveling in under 5 minutes and called KBR back to send Brad back out. At no point in any conversation was a $200 trip fee mentioned.

No registers open other than contractors lane which was backed way up. The self serve registers were also full (which I personally would NEVER use anyway) Meanwhile there were employees visiting with eachother and one was walking around with a large soda in his hand doing nothing.

I ask one of your employees why there were NO regular lanes open and she replied, not enough help and it wasn't her fault. I agreed and said that I agree and it is obvious that this store has piss poor management.

I have been in Home Depot for the LAST time and will be sure to tell everyone how disappointing it is to see how upsetting it is to even go in there. The way this place is run SUCKS. Will be glad to watch your businesses go under.

Depot Team I paid a high price for extras,installation etc. the Team leader was very rude arrogant and did not want to install. He left my kitchen a mess and left without any info on how to operate Refrigerator. Friends/ neighbors were appalled by how they treated us.

After this experience with Home Depot, I will as well as many people will know of the Poor quality of service provided. I expect to get some sort of refund from Home Depot for the Labor I put into putting this together and cleanup,he nearly flooded my Brand New Oak Floor by not following water installation instructions.

I purchased a refrigerator on May 20th they said I would receive a text or phone call about the delivery dates. When they text me with the delivery date I immediately called them to aware them no one would be home at that time.

They then set me up another delivery date and I told them no one would be home at that time I needed evening times. So basically every date they have given me they have changed now I've had three different delivery dates and now I believe I'm working on four and they're pushing my dates further and further out.

I'm not happy at all I'm really ready to cancel my whole order and shop at a different store because this is not fair to the customer at all. And I still haven't received my product

We have a kitchen floor to replace and I found some roll down vinyl that I liked however when the guy, the contractor, come out to measure my kitchen he acted like everything was fine and there were several important questions he did not ask us. When we came in for the estimate he had evidently checked off a box that required an additional person to hire in order to test for asbestos but we do not have any asbestos and my floor has been upgraded since the 70s let me assure you.

So it really felt like he was trying to take us on a ride that I wasn’t interested in. needless to say we went that route. I bought and paid cash for all new appliances. HD installer came to install. Found out 3 days later that the dishwasher was installed incorrectly & had leaked, causing damage to underneath my brand new kitchen floors. It’s been a nightmare, no one will call me back.

Occurred at Mt. Pleasant Texas on Friday May 5th 2023 Approx 2:30pm The 2 people who loaded my lumber order refused to listen to me when I told them they could not put the entire load on my small trailer as it is only rated for a maximum of 1740lbs and

the load was approximately 2200+lbs. They said they would take part of it off AFTER they sat it on the trailer. now it is not only warped but the way they ended up putting the remainder of the material on it was to set one end on it then push it on with the forklift.

With the trailer being now warped the stress that they put on tongue warped and bent it! Now I am not only out a trailer but I am having to make multiple trips to get what I need at 40 MILES A TRIP!

Cashier was looking at her phone phone instead of serving customers. She wasn't even at her checkout counter but when she did go there she had trouble ringing up the products and kept ringing them up. I asked her to stop and said I would checkout at the cashier next to her.

" Her attitude was one of entitlement and arrogance. I asked the other cashier to call for the manager. " and left her station and the other customers waiting. Granted, this was a young person but there is no excuse for her lack of common courtesy.

The manager said he will speak with her but aside from her wanting to protect her job speaking with her won't change her attitude nor her work ethic. I have seen this type of child multiple times over my teaching years.

Last night I stopped at Home Depot to pick up 40 bags of manure compost. I went to the register in gardening and told the cashier what I needed. He found the item on his computer within 10 - 15 seconds and asked me if this was what I wanted.

I confirmed, he rang me up, called for someone to load me up and I was on my way. This morning I went in and stood in line waiting my turn to be served. The customer in front of me walked off refusing to make a purchase after some misgivings with the cashier.

I walked forward and told the lady I would like 40 bags of the manure compost. She told me I would have to go get a bag so she could ring it up. I asked her to look it up on the computer and she stormed off to go check on the item.

I was checking on an online order and this guy I was talking to couldn’t seem to find my full order and was telling me I didn’t order it and I told him yes I did look at the order. It’ll tell you everything on the order and then he hung up on me because he probably couldn’t find it. I’ll figure it out.

² a house floorilng to stall} I’m only getting one installer the rugs have to be taken out and Home Depot is taking the rugs with them. I paid over $7000 for the job to be done. I’ve waited 30 days plus another 15 days since I did not have nothing in this house, but a mattress , I sleep on with no furniture can’t bring anything into the house until the floors are installed.

As of right now I am not happy with the service that Home Depot has contracted this company out to do the installation. I’m not happy with the store here in Sierra Vista, that if they knew this type of service was going to take place , I would not have it done there at Home Depot.

What l expect out of this entire disaster, some type of compensation for this entire embarrassment, I’m a retired military disabled treated…
