Booked hotel through hotwire on May 13. Called 18 and 22 of May to verify all good as hotel not showing paid by hotwire. Was told on both days reservation good and hotel paid. Got to hotel and hotwire had not paid hotel.

We had to pay out of pocket to stay in the hotel. Trip was June 6th 2023. Hotwire charged bank account September 1st and took funds from our account. I booked Hotwire and confirmed 2x hotel was ready and good to go. It was not.

Hotwire failed to pay the hotel by our arrival date. We had to use our personal account to pay for the room. I fail to see how Hotwire can charge the full amount, and take it out of our account, 3 months after the trip when Hotwire failed to pay and secure the reservation as promised and told 2x everything was already paid and good to go.

Never use Hotwire. I was going to Maui and even though my resort burned down they won't refund my money. Car rental company, airline and parking all refunded me. Not Hotwire.

Absolutely horrible customer service! Don't even try to call them or get any answer that is not from the "handbook". I can not even begin to recall how many times the "standard" response was given regarding my issue with this company. I have since, written letters to both the corporate office and to the customer service office of Hotwire. And, due to the matter at hand, I am filing a dispute with my credit card company. There was a glitch in the website/internet etc and because of this, my reservation did not complete.. then it did and now its a big mess.

This is not how a company who wants customers treat their clients... not at all.

I even emailed the support office, and they sent back "contact us via this text/chat service" I had already done this.

I can not recommend this company to…

I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and disgust with my recent stay at Suburban Extended Stay in Kennesaw, Georgia on 7/6/2023. I booked a room at your establishment through Hotwire with the expectation of a clean and comfortable environment, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon entering the room assigned to me, it became immediately evident that the cleanliness standards at Suburban Extended Stay were severely lacking. The room was in a deplorable condition, with visible dirt, grime, and stains on the furniture, carpet, and walls. I was appalled to discover multiple roaches scurrying across the floor and walls, indicating a severe infestation issue.

Hotwire seems to be a scam. I booked a rental car, arrived and they had given the car to someone else. When you try to contact Hotwire, if they reply, they give you the run around, stating it's not their fault!

But do nothing, except take your money!

5 or higher, I purchased a Hotwire deal. 5 that was advertised. When I called Hotwire, the first agent asked if I wanted to cancel or change the reservation. 5-star hotel or higher that had been promised. When they moved me to the second attendant or representative, that person refused to make the modification and informed me that there would be a $45 fee if I wanted a refund.

I told them I was refusing the credit and shouldn't be charged the $45 for their false advertising after they tried to process the refund and told me I would receive a hot wire credit rather than a refund to my credit card. Here is a copy of the receipt along with the results of the internet search that reveal the hotel only had a three-star rating and had received very negative reviews.

Worst experience ever I had to sleep in my car due to hotwires mess up and false advertising they show a rate and say that a credit card will need to put on file but no funds taken out that all funds are included on hotwire and I get to hotel after driving to a funeral 8 hours away to Phoenix with all I have I gave to hotwire and

they took my money then told me owell when I got to hotel and hotel asked for 100$ , it was so embarrassing I have to sleep I'm my car now because the policy is 2-7day refund I'm reaching out to social media and every platform about this and I'm with my 2 sons

com. Unfortunately my airline flight was cancelled. I asked if Hotwire could notify the rental agency and delay the 10 day reservation by 1 day. The entire booking was $1200. They were unwilling to accommodate the change. This is unreasonable and unfair.

The Hotwire supervisor was in the Philippines and offered no remedy. I would strongly suggest nobody use Hotwire

Cancel a flight reservation that me and my family is not going to be able to make it. I’m asking for a full refund or a credit to 2023. Whatever options you have for us. The reason we had to cancel was I got hurt at work and now on short term disability.

Which means the income we had at the time of booking this flight we now no longer has that same income. Please take in consideration we’re down to 1 income on top of other special bills take care 6 kids. With one income.

I placed an order for a "Luxury Elite SUV" with the description of Audi Q7 or similar with an image of an Audi Q7. I place an order for this as I needed a 7 seater SUV car but when I called SIXT to confirm my reservation, I was told my booking only includes an SUV with 5 seats.

Placing an image of a vehicle with 7 seats, adding the comment of "Audi Q7" is a complete FRAUD. You cannot advertise something you CANNOT get entirely.

After booking through Hotwire for a car rental, was unable to get a vehicle until the next day after paying ahead. Contacted Hotwire who said that although flight was delayed 30 minutes, they wouldn’t be able to assist at all.

Would not remove 1 day from rental. Would not transfer to another rental company who was open past 4 pm. As we couldn’t stay at the airport all night, we had to purchase a second rental and eat the $700 for the rental.

Poor service and would not recommend. Have used multiple times but will not be using again.

Using my Hotwire app, I typed in Augusta Maine. I picked the Best Western. Made the reservation. Arrived at hotel to find I didn’t have a reservation. The app booked at Augusta Georgia! There is a glitch in the app. Check it!

I tried to cancel or change reservation to maine. Transferred 5 times, for over an hour, and still no resolution. The fact that all your customer service is out of country is ridiculous! I will never, ever use Hotwire again!

I live in Canada. I booked a hotel room in Burlington Ontario through Hotwire. 89. 81, so somewhere along the line my Canadian charge was taken as US. I have spoken with several Hotwire employees, scattered all around the world, and I have gotten nowhere.

I would like a refund of the difference between the two amounts.

Back on March 27th, 2022 my flight from Manchester, UK to Amsterdam was cancelled. This meant myself and my family were not able to get our connecting flight back to Miami, and instead we were diverted to Paris and had to have an overnight stay there, before flying back to Miami the following day.

When we got back we completed an insurance claim form online. We have heard nothing since then. Today I contacted Hotwire support online to enquire about this and was simply given the run around.

I reserved a rental car with Hotwire on 7 June 2022. On 9 June, I realized I needed to cancel my reservation due to a change in travel plans. I called Hotwire on 9 June and asked to cancel my reservation and was informed I could not cancel my reservation due to this being a “hot rate.” No where in my email confirmation was this mentioned.

I called the third party, enterprise, and cancelled my reservation. The agent was very helpful and said they would send me a cancellation email.

I called Hotwire a few days before the reservation period to ensure I would not have any issues and was told the same thing. This is a “hot rate” and non refundable and cannot make any changes.

I booked a room thru hotwire online and paid for the hotel with my debit card and when I got to the hotel they would not accept my credit card for incidentals. 03 back that they charged me for a room.

I asked for corporate number and was told they can't give me corporate number only management can call corporate. So I guess I will contact better business bureau and an attorney about this incident.

I had to call Hotwire several times to get a resolution for a refund. After speaking to several associates that assured me the refund would be issued to my Mastercard they instead gave me a Hotwire credit that I never approved and was mislead that I would be receiving a refund to my Mastercard. The customer service department is terrible and go in circles repeating this over and over when I asked for a supervisor to assist me.

Booked flight/hotel package July 1 from HSV to EWR. Flight canceled twice. Ended up LGA at midnight. Had to pay additional $180 to get to hotel in Newark. Hotel old dated, not so clean, AC out in lobby, pool closed. Awful experience.

Extremely poor customer service. I booked a hotel and selected "pet friendly" for the amenities. When I arrived at the hotel they only allowed dogs and not cats (I have a cat). I was unable to check in because of this, and stranded at night.

I found another hotel to sleep, and called Hotwire first thing in the morning to request a refund, and if that wasn't possible, credits for a future booking. They were extremely unhelpful, and said this wasn't possible, even though I was able to get credits very recently for another booking with the same problem.

I spoke with 3 different people about this booking and they repeated the same canned lines over and over about how it wasn't possible. Are people supposed to just lose hundreds of dollars due to inaccurate information in their booking and…

hi, Reserved a Myrtle Beach Hotel with Hotwire for 4 days. Hotel is really bad, very dirty, roaches.. then I chatted with Hotwire agent, he offered me to rebook elsewhere using the refund of the first hotel OR a complete refund.

next morning I left the crappy hotel KNOWING I won't have to pay for the second hotel. days, days,... a lot of chat between me and Hotwire agent.... Ocean Star Hotel manager never returns calls. they even fraud me 250$ on my credit saying I smoke in a non smoking room, I DON'T EVEN SMOKE!!!

at the end the Hotel did not refunded Hotwire, so I paid 2 Hotels for the same 3 days.

Good day. Last night I had secured a room from hotwire fir Ann Arbor Michigan. I spoke with the manager and she said I needed to contact you to be reimbursed. I gave several pictures to share. Sadly smell cannot be photographed.

The manager of the hotel said that the hotel is to br demolished and says that is is. One thing out of a horror movie. I’ve booked with Hotwire many times. Never been disappointed. This was nit one of those rims.

Tried to book a hotel in Miami on March 15 and because I didn't receive a confirmation (Itinerary number) on my email address, I call Hotwire on March 21 and the lady who answered my call said the reservation was not confirmed and the charges on my credit card would be canceled within 10 days or so. The charges were not canceled and when I called Hotwire again today April 11, 2022, I was told a different story: my reservation would have been confirmed and I would have to pay for it regardless of not getting a confirmation whatsoever.

I rented a hotel described as a 3 star hotel through Hotwire. It was a good deal or it seemed to be. The hotel we got assigned was the Bel Air Hotel in Orlando. Immediately after I was given the name of the “3 star hotel”, I read the reviews, which were horrible.

I immediately contacted the hot wire messaging line. The agent wrote that they would be calling the hotel and try to get a refund or they will give me credit that I can use towards another hotel. I was told I would be notified via email.

Two days passed, and I called Hotwire. The live agent, named Mike, was very rude , and stated that I have no cancellations or changes. I gave him my itinerary number and told him about the conversation I had with the previous agent via text.

com is beyond my imagination. I understand the policies of certain bookings but there are exceptions to every rule. Hotwire just does not believe in that. When I requested the company address to write to someone about my dissatisfaction, supervisor "Reen" advised me that I had already spoken to her and she had already told me I was not getting any type of refund and she was terminating our call.

Again, I requested an address to write to and all I got was a dialtone! And this is how we want to became a kinder more loving world to live in!

I had booked a sedan Kia Rio and I was given Chevy suv. The Car isn’t bad but why to not give why committed. I have been charged 509$ as a tax which is way too high compare to any car rental company.

This is has shoot up the per day price of a car which am using and not worth of that price. I need an upgrade or clarity on tax amount and refund accordingly

5 star hotel. The clerk at the desk could not tell me which building my room was in. There were no luggage carts, and I’m on the 3rd floor. I was treated rudely. On top of that the hotel is NOT on the historic district as advertised or I wouldn’t have booked it! Road noise is horrible!

Someone should reevaluate this hotel. Ruined my vacation and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels! Worse experience ever!!!!!!! So disappointed! I’m willing to pay for a nice hotel but this place is a cheap Motel 6… really disappointing!!!

I would give 0 stars. I booked a flight on Hotwire. When I took the trip my return flight was canceled. I called Hotwire several times and no one answered or were unable or unwilling to help me. I was transferred to Expedia.

I have spent over 4 hrs on the phone with Hotwire customer service and no one helped me. Worst experience ever

The elder lady I booked a flight for caught covid. com. 3 months later I just went to rebook her trip and it's more expensive which we expected and we are okay with that. I called Hotwire gave them the flight numbers and they amount.

They came back much higher. I ask why. Hotwire put a $50 rebooking fee in there. I told them how unfair that was and she could not help she caught covid. They did not care and that's it no getting around it.

They should be ashamed of themselves for doing people like that. Why do they need that fee if you are going through the same company and the same airline? They are crooks. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY REASON!!!!!

I have been using Hotwire in the past and have always been happy with the hotel rates. Now I must say I'm very surprised that the "hot rate" offered for my booking in Italy (Natopli) is more expensive then the price I would have had if reserved directly on the hotel's website.

What's more, breakfast is included if I book on the hotel whereas it is not included via Hotwire. This represents at least a 30% difference. com? I got in touch with the support service that says they can't do anything I reacted two days after the booking...

com again and in the case someone is reading this: DON'T USE HOTWIRE, take a look directly at the hotel website or call them you'll certainly get a better prices than this fake HOTWIRE

I have spent another 4 hours messaging with hotwire because you can't get through on the phone. Still, no one is of any help and I still have not been able to change my flight. com and Expedia are stealing from people and for some reason, they get away with it.

Please NEVER EVER use these sites for booking. You may not be sorry the first time, or even the second, but eventually you will get burned. That's how they operate~!
