Filed our taxes at an office on April 7th paid for what we owed online on the 8th now have a letter cp14 from the IRS saying that we haven't paid to investigation realize that H&r block put my husband's social security number in wrong and then I just copied it off there to make payment so we aren't getting credit for it have spent hours and hours online on the phone trying to get a hold of somebody anybody at H&r block help but

our office is closed and can only make appointments which are weeks out can't get directly a hold of them call corporate and was given an office that doesn't even exist when I looked it up after I got off the phone they're online service sucks they're automated phone service sucks how do I get this resolved

Pass two years H&R tried to change my appointment from one made year advance, to which we were happy, and made arrangements for this date, I had to call and get forward on leaving it to original date, the person was not in my favor on changing the date till, like I sad forward.

Second last year H&R tried to switch my tax service to Carrol city, 10 miles from my home, in a very high crime area, note I'm a handicap senior. The office I deal with is 2 miles from my house.

We been dealing with H&R from 1992, yeah 32 year and now to be insulted by this type of foolishness, wrong, or you don't care or have Def ears. I made note to someone last year, but again Def ears.

Ok so this has maid the top of my list of services that I'm not too pleased with. I never complained or left any bad reviews till now. H&R block has failed to keep my information safe, which was stolen last year.

Than to top it all off. I still haven’t finished my taxts with them because the tax prep experts yeah more than 2 had to work kn getting them finished and they babe failed to contact me even after I called and told them my number has changed four days mind you before my appointment.

I mean it's been about a month into this and I'm getting greedy very angery. I mean hello my taxes aren't complicated at all. I mean what the hello is going on here.

They screwed my taxes up so bad, I asked the lady to just cancel it and id go into a store, she tells me she did and deleted everything. However the next day I get a email from IRS saying they accepted my taxes! So she filed them without my permission and still screwed them up, also charged me $541!!

I was referred to the H& R Block in Pontiac, MI on Perry Street by a co-worker who's been dealing with this certain tax preparer for years. I was totally disappointed with my refund, I don't feel she worked to get the most for me, people with no dependents or 1 got bigger refunds than me, & I will never return back to H&R Block or this location. I was disgusted!

I got an email from hr block about emerald advance loan said make appointment click here I did made appt. Got a confirmation email with date and time on it, I get there they aren't open,noone answers phone. Nothing. I took off work so lost pay had to get a ride from friend cause cars broke down and had get sitter just to go out there and noones there. Totally unacceptable not professional. Horrible.

My experience rates a 1, the worst. Abrasive tax preparer. Maiden as I recall is the last name. He refused to prepare a state income tax form because I had prepared and filed my own Federal return earlier this year and IRS had sent me a CP-23 form asking for a larger payment. I paid IRS promptly.

I offered to pay the Block employee to do my Federal Form over. Copies of all the 1099's were attached to the copy of it I offered to give him. He demanded the originals of the 1099's. I refused. All 1099's with multiple pages have page numbers on them.

H&R Block has fieled my taxes the past few years. 00. I contacted the H&R Block office located at 360 S Commercial St. Aransas pass, TX. and made an appointment with my tax specialist Mr. Mark Mcwhorter and I took my 2021 tax packet into him for review.

He reviewed all documents and found that he had failed to input a provided SSA-1099-SM-UD, I received a refund for that tax year around that amount and i should not have received any refund. He admitted that it was an oversight on his end and that I had paid for their so called Peace of Mind insurance and it being his mistake that a claim would be filed and H&R Block would reimburse me that amount plus any penalties.

My husband and I met with associate Linda Rich in the Marietta, GA. office. We handed all of our tax documents over to her to assist with our 2022 tax return. She never returned a call, entered our information in the H&R Block system and has lost all of our documents! All of this information has sensitive data. She will still not return any calls or visits after 3 weeks and we still do not have our tax documents. The H&R phone tree will never connect me to the local office. Allen Higdon at the Decatur office in Georgia deliberately caused me to pay out thousands of dollars that I could not afford for 2 years. My tax professional just stopped responding to my correspondent. My taxes were filed late. She didn't include my private practice information after saying that she would. As a result, i incurred a fee from the IRS in addition to that after emailing her several several times without her replying.

a. Taxes Paid/ Withheld. The IRS informed me of an error and reduced to refund your program had calculated. It was off $2728. Pretty significant.

Also, my retirement income allows me to determine the taxable amount. Your program had to be overriden in order to get the correct figure entered. In the past your program worked fine. I expect your program to move figures accurately from the worksheets to the 1040. It didn't.

They charged me and then never filed my taxes. After a month waiting for my taxes I called the irs and found out my taxes were never submitted electronically.

Please go somewhere else to get you taxes filed. Even if you pay for services online. They will send you a copy of your return with client copy do not file plastered all on your returns and tell you to go to the IRS for a copy.

I asked the rep if I had filed my taxes in the office would I have gotten the same copy, with copy still on it? She stated yes. On top of this you cannot speak to a live rep unless you say you are calling to file a complaint, which is what I'm doing now!!!

Last year I was at Home when charges stared coming in on my Emerald card. As this was happening my wife walked in with my 9 year old son. I said I don't know but somehow there are multiple withdrawals coming out of are Emerald account.

The Agent is surly and non professional. I own the business complex at 711 Plaza Dr, Chesterton, IN. Your agent parks in our parking lot every day. She was asked to park in the lot where her business is located.

She has refused to move her vehicle. She said she didn't have to move it because it was public property and I could not tell her where to park. I explained I pay $35,000 a year in property taxes and that it is private property.

She is definitely not someone I would want representing my business. And in my opinion, it does not speak to highly of her intelligence if she does not know private property from public property.

I filed our taxes on January 28, 2023. I paid $202 for taxes and peace of mind. Let me tell you I didn’t get piece of mind. When I did them online they went to California for a review, I got and email saying everything was fine did I want them to be sent through.

Dropped off my documents, ball got dropped, now nobody knows where my paperwork is and I want to file a complaint against H&R Block for making the past 2 weeks a total NIGHTMARE. And taking up MY SATURDAY to get it straightened out!

I dropped off two years worth of VT state taxes to be completed by the South Burlington VT office on Shelburne Road back in July. As of today, they are not returning my phone calls nor do I have any information about the status of my tax returns being completed.

I had my taxes done by Margaret Higgs at 1240 State Rte 29 Greenwhich NY, 12834. The women was very unprofessional she did not tell me the price up front as well as spelling my email address and county incorrectly on the tax return form.

I recently had an amendment filed a 1040 EZ tax year 2021 filed at the Goose Creek office in South Carolina. My tax associate was Kim Whitney. This is where my horrible experience with H&R block began. I made an account online to review my documents, however after several attempts id trying review my information it was never uploaded online for review.

H & R Block services at your Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey have been unprofessional. From not properly confirming my appointment and therefore rushing me through the pre-filing process, to not fully understanding how to accurately complete and file the tax return, to disrespectful interactions, our experience had been a nightmare. Non-stop telephone calls, and being summoned to the office on numerous days to sign different documents (both electronic and paper) because the tax expert did not have the knowledge/understanding of how to do the job. To date, the taxes still have NOT been completed and filed!

I believe this is an office that requires better management and competent tax experts. They have caused undue stress. Please advise how this matter will be handled.

i am so pissed by the service i received from her. i was used to having all charges explained to me as well as what those charges are. I even ssked her how much schedule C was ans received no info.

When I began to file my 2022 tax return through the H&R Block app with a tax pro, I also told her that I need to file 2021 as well. Gave her all information as well as for the 2022 return.

I used the online system to prepare my taxes on April 2nd and also had a tax consultant to review it. She messed it up. She added extra charges even after I paid and then kept on delaying my taxes.

Now she is asking me to file an extension when the deadline actually is April 18th midnight. I have never been delayed on my taxes and don't want to delay it because of H&R block mistake. Her name is Cheryl. Worst tax consultant ever.

I filed my taxes using HR Block because my family has used this for years. I am low income and buy my health insurance from covered CA because of my very low income. I am entitle to file my taxes for free.

The HR block system charged me over $100 for a form I never even needed. This company takes severe advantage of someone new to filing taxes and being financially limited I can not afford this fee. I tried to call customer support and they refuse to reverse the charge even though I did not need to complete said form!
