My name is Sandra Rose my Wife Vivian Haley we had our taxes prepared by H&R in Omaha Ne. on No. 30th St on January 28th 2023 doing our 2022 returns. I had not received my refund as of yet.

00 and had all my documentation in front of me oh yes she stated that my preparer was done for the year. Here is my problem it was no big deal to person on the other end. 00 refundable know the deadline for taxes is April 18th.

So I called H&R on No. 30th and I was going to make an appointment to find out what happened to my tax preparations. This what she said Oh Sandra my bad if I would of looked a little further I would of seen that we did do your taxes and you did pay the problem is your preparer forgot some type of number that was needed on the 1099 form my bad.

I won't be filing with H&R Block again. I don't mind paying a fee for the service, but I don't appreciate the false advertising leading me to believe I could file for free or even choose the middle "Deluxe" option when premium was the only choice.

I endured all the "premium" pop ups every time I hit continue thinking that was the price of the "free" option. Had I known I would have to pay that in the end anyway, I would've just selected premium to save me from the pop-up hassle.

People spend a lot of time entering all their information and don't want to have to do it again so you know they will pay in the end. Super shady and incredibly unprofessional. You just lost a customer based on principle.

I'll be using a different tax service from now on.

They tell you you can just drop off your taxes and they will do them and get back to you when they are done. The problem is that they also don't have enough help. Over a month since drop off, we called them because they never called us.

We were told on April 14 that they haven't even started to do them. prepared to do! NEVER AGAIN !!!

My husband and I made an appt for our taxes a year ago. The date of our appt was March 11th at our local HR Block, however the guy who was supposed to help us was going over with a previous client and asked if we could leave our documents there and he’d call us that night. Never got a call.

A few weeks pass so I call them, and the person who answered said she’d leave him a message to call us. Never got a call. So I called back and asked again, I was told again that they’d leave a message and have him call us. Never got a call.

My husband went into the branch to ask for an update and was told the accountant wasn’t there but they’d had him call us, never got a call. Taxes are due Tuesday and this guy hasn’t even started ours!!!!!!!!! He also won’t call us back! What do we do?

I've used HR block for years. This year you've required customers that used ACA Obamacare that need to file form 8962 to pay $200 for the DELUXE service to do so. These are folks that can't afford health insurance. You required me to pay $200 to submit one form.

I will never be using this service again. You should be ashamed of yourself. I've done some research and your competitor does not require me to do the same. I will be switching and encouraging all others to do the same.

IT Support of H&R Block is NOT able to recover my H&R Block account. (showing blocked) Customer support asking to create a new account and I am loosing all my 6 years of tax information in the locked/blocked account. VERY VERY Poor customer service and IT capabilities.

Iv used h&r for over 20 years never again. I had a house fire in 2022 ask if I could write that off my taxes was told yes I had 3 years I had no insurance and I ask when I filed my 21 taxes.

Well we lost everything we had and needed money so I changed my witholdings because my tax pro told me I would be fine if I did because I had a big write off next. Well next year is here and they was wrong held my taxes for over 2 weeks because they knew they was wrong now I owe 10,000 more dollars because of what H&R Block told me

My taxes were supposed to be mailed Feb 7, 2023.

First H&R Block sent it to my address without the apt number. Then they told me to sign a direct deposit form and wait 10 days. I called at 10 days then they said someone would call me with an update within 5 days. No one did.

I called earlier today and they refuse to allow me to speak with a supervisor. Told me again someone should contact me in 5 days because the necessary forms have been received. I would like to know why they refuse to release my refund to me.

The service I received at Block Advisors in Everett Washington was far below standard . It took 3 sessions totaling 6hours and 2 preparers to give me a measure of confidence that my return was correctly done. My original documents were lost at one point.

I was given a bill of 629$, which I refuted due to the incompetence I experienced with my first preparer. The manager left , then returned with a bill of 729$ from which she said she would subtract 100$ because of problems I experienced with them, so I ended up paying the 629$ so I could end this nightmare experience.

HR BLOCK WILL ROB YOU!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED!! HR block advertised and I was led to believe that if I had less than three W2 forms, my fee would be $85. I presented one W2 form with less than three months of work BUT HR block charged me $175.

HRBlock filed my Taxes for 2020. In 2022 I received correspondence from the IRS advising me that I owed $13,000. As I did not pay taxes on an investment I had in 2020. I reported this problem to your Selden, Long Island office and made an appointment with your Tax consultant, Mr.

Robert Clinco, master tax advisor, at the Selden office. The final result was that the person who prepared my taxes omitted some information that the IRS needed. A claim was then created for me at the Selden office and finally the matter was resolved with IRS by me.

Since then I have contacted your Selden office, Mr. Clinco on numerous occasions about my claim and he has not responded . I had great respect for your company in the past but I am surprised that your office does not respect me as a client.

My wife and I paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for our taxes to get done. There was an issue with our state return having to do with missing information. When we called the office to try to get the problem solved we were told everything was fine on your end and WE needed to call and find out what was wrong.

Turns out everything wasn’t right on your end and the W2 for my full time job was not sent to the treasury. My problem is after paying all that money your people put THEIR responsibility on us, when it was their mistake to begin with.

My name is Marcella Galvez and I have been a client with H&R siñce appx 2005. I have never had a bad experience until now and as of this moment I am beyond upset, disatisfied and disrespected. At the time this email is being written I still have had no resolve for my issue.

Be careful with these guys. They sell your email to other companies. com for my son's taxes last week and when I opened my email I have all this junk mail with his name and my email address. So make sure you are ready for a bunch of junk mail like horoscopes and such

This was my first experience ever with H&R Block. m. m. By 10:45 I still hadn't seen the person with whom I was to meet and he hadn't even come out to say he was running late, apologize for not respecting my time, or checking to see if I could keep waiting or if I'd like to reschedule.

After waiting 45 minutes I decided that this was NOT a place where I could feel confident that my taxes were going to be handled properly. Very disappointing.

0 stars I have sent 2 fax and an email for the client check replacement request and everytime I call they claim they haven't received it. The second fax I actually went to a local office to have it faxed. I NEED MY TAX RETURN MONEY.

They don't have convenient office hours even during tax season. They don't have anyone to answer questions about taxes in a way that doesn't take 3-4 days, even in tax season. I tried to get my completed tax return just now at 5:00 PM EDT and they are already closed.

The receptionist didn't tell me they close early. They didn't try to help me pay less tax much less get the refund you wildly advertise. I have to pay a substantial amount of tax. I am able to get my completed tax forms by tomorrow Sunday March 26th 2023 or I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, my Congressman, and the IRS.

We were customers at the Windsor H&R Block for about 15 years. We made an online appt and were contacted a few days later to be told they were overbooked and we would need to find another office. We decided to give the Fort Collins office a try since our info would be stored in their system.

The deleted everything on my online account, including all of my former year tax pdfs. Cost me hours of time, since I had already done taxes online. I went to office to try to get them done there, then they tried to charge me $500 for 45 minutes of work.

My card was stolen of $3000 ,made police report and have picture of crook from ATM and I still haven't received my money back. Also I still haven't received my state refund that ga dept of revenue says it was sent to hr block.

Your 2022 Deluxe version crashes each time I try to enter interest income. I uninstalled the software, downloaded it again, restarted my computer, and when I entered the interest income, it crashed again. I could not get past that screen without it crashing.

I've used H&R Block Deluxe downloadable software for 4 years without incident. I won't use it, or any other H&R Block products ever again.

We are a military family that had been using this company for years. Currently, we are stationed at Camp Humphreys and like every year we make an appointment for an agent to fill up our taxes. The appointment was on March 17 at 6 pm (Seoul time) with Sung Hong. This agent had zero work ethic and keep showing my information to another person without letting me know the reason, they both continuously wiggle looking at the papers and the only thing she said in English was "you do not need to fill in taxes". In years of being a service member, I had never heard this from any of H&R block agents.

Your company is wonderful and does not need to be represented by this lack of ethics.

I have been going to h&r block now for 14 yrs. So I was asked if I wanted to open a Emerald Savings I agreed to it and had put $350 in it.. well when I get on My Block app i don't see anything that has to do with savings.

I used H&R Block last year as well as this year. I was told last year I did not have to pay Utah state taxes even tho I live here full time, only Az state taxes bc my late husbands pension comes from Az where he worked for the city of Tucson where we lived.

This company did my tax return and I received 800 back. They charged me 600 in fees and I only got 200 back. They stole my money. The mangers and district managers are in it, they will not help u and u want get it back.

I filed my taxes on 2-7-23 with Erika Velez at 2775 S Nellis LV,NV 89121. I was told it would take up to 21 days to receive my refund. I scheduled my knee surgery around this refund because I will be out of work and need the money for bills.

On 2-22-23 I checked myself online to see when it would be coming only to find out that it had been rejected on 2-9-23. I called the office where my taxes were prepared to find out what happened. They asked to call me back.

Then I was told that one number was put in wrong on my taxes by Erika. They fixed it but because of their mistake I had to wait an additional up to 21 days to receive it. I don’t understand why I wasn’t told that my taxes were rejected to begin with.

When filing my taxes and inserting my account information, the online software changed my account info and caused me to not receive my tax return by direct deposit. They in turn sent out a check to the my address on file, but failed to include the Apartment number.

Now I have failed to receive the check as well and have to deal with the financials department that is some Call center over in the Middle East or India. They all follow a script, never answer the question at hand, Hang up the phone non stop on you, Fake not hearing you, Honestly because of this experience I intend to never use hrblock again.

The woman who did my taxes put wrong account numbers on my direct deposit. 00 that I paid you to do my taxes I have to wait for them to deny them get them back and print a check. I have used turbo tax for years and had no problem.

I was falsely mislead into upgrading my services, all over health care forms, the problem did not get resolved as they did not have a way to answer the questions I had about the forms nor did they have a solution, so I asked for the services to put back to the original package I selected as there was no need in the upgrade just to be told that if I downgrade that I will have to do everything over again and

that I will not be able to upload my taxes from the year prior and I have been with them for 15years or more and they treat like a number it's like they train there employees to con there customers like they are deliberately selling you things you don't need by false representation

I went to my local H&R Block in 2021 and have my taxes done and I did not receive my taxes until 2023 and every time I went to up there asking what was taking so long they could not help me so I sat on the phone with IRS and I had to get paperwork they already had and resubmit it and they didn't even have viruses fax number. I paid $335 for you guys to do my taxes and it's been three years and no one could help me source customer service ever.

I made an appointment on march 2nd for march 13 at 4 . On march 11 they texted me saying my appointment was at 5:45 and called on 12th saying there were no tax experts at this time. 1st what happened to my 4 o’clock spot and if they double booked I made my appointment way In Advance.

Company over charges working people to get taxes done. It seems to have tripled in price and fees just to get your taxes done. It's outrageous.
