My Hyundai Santa Fe is among those with the excessive oil consumption problem that adversely affects the combustion chamber and has resulted in noisy valves in my case. The dealership I have had service my vehicle missed the problem when I complained about engine noise.
An independent oil change center told me that the engine had almost no oil left in it even though I regularly had oil changes done at 3,000-4,000 mile intervals and they advised me the some Hyundai engines have a problem with oil consumption. Hyundai did not volunteer this info to me and when I researched this, I found out that this was a well-known problem and that it was ignored until a class action suit forced Hyundai to do something about it.

I am writing to complain about the inadequate and unsatisfactory service I received from the Temecula Hyundai service department on several occasions. The last one crossed the line and is a cause of concern. On June 22, 2023, I dropped off my 2023 Hyundai Palisade at the service center for inspection and routine maintenance (first oil change). Upon receiving the keys to my car I begging to walk towards it when I notice a black scuff starting mid driver door ending towards the end of the back passenger door. I immediately brought it to the attention of the employee walking with me and they instantly begin to apologize. Hyundai Motor Finance customer service is HORRIBLE and uncaring. I was diagnosed with cancer in December 2022. I have tried to request a payment deferment a few times but I have been denied every time. I purchased my vehicle in February 2020.
I’ve been going through treatment and not working. I just need a little time. They are uncaring and unwilling to assist. I don’t wish this critical illness and financial hardship on anyone. I will ensure to communicate on every platform about how uncaring Hyundai is.
1st servicing was done by Hyundai which costed R1735.07, the 2nd service I am being charged double R3027.71 including labour. My issue with Hyundai is that I am still a current client, why should I be paying for labour? The quote received for the parts that need to be replaced for serving is charged on double to triple on what I should pay. And not all the parts were included in the 1st service but now that I have to pay for servicing, its coming at additional parts required. This is really a fraud company to be triple charging and including labour charges. I am now thinking of moving to another car dealership due to this encounter today.

Fixing brakes lights at the end, my engine smells like pure oils, why, don't understand. Not happy with the service, for some reason the engine looks dirty and old, I always keep the inside of the car clean. What happened don't understand.

Major issue with 2017 Tucson since late June. The service advisor knew exactly that it was the clutch transmission issue/engine issue. I opened claim with corporate who sent email to this svc advisor who called me with negative comments that corporate hyundai just says they'll pay, but they won't, may have cars for day so will be without.

Engine Recall performed on 2012 Sonata by way of recall. Since replacement we have been experiencing issues in relation to the replacement. Headlight blowing, radio/cd overload circuit trip, strange noise in and around engine bay and transmission when in reverse, rattling of the front end components when driving over uneven surfaces.
More recently air compressor failure, which we relate to the electrical issues we have encountered. Made an appointment with the dealership and they did not keep appointment in June. On August 28, 2023. My daughter took my accent to the dealership at Affenberg Hyndai in Fairview Heights Illinois to have a routine oil change. The service manager told her it needed more maintenance work (clen the lines)or the engine will be damaged.
The car has 15,000 miles on it. She told them she wasn't sure what to do, so they did the work anyway. She asked for the keys and they would not let her leave. Then she had to pay a $200 bill before they would surrender the keys.

After considerable research, in December, 2020, we purchased a 2021 Hyundai Pacifica with a tow hitch. It is primarily my wife's car, so I looked for features that she would need (safety), and enjoy. We took it home, and it was stored in the garage.
It has very little mileage as she primarily uses it around town, and just a few longer trips. About one year later, I read an article that Hyundai was being sued under a class action lawsuit for several items. There was a recall on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata. My car went into the shop in May of 2023. Hyundai had my vehicle for over a month. I finally got it back in June. I submitted all my paperwork for my reimbursement for the rental car.
I was told that it would only take 30-45 days to receive my reimbursement check back. the paperwork was submitted on May 10th. We are now on August 2nd, and I cannot get anyone to give me an answer on to what my status is on this reimbursement.
I have called numerous numbers and spoken to numerous people when I finally get someone on the phone, they are less than helpful and very rude. There have been times I have been on hold for hours waiting to only hear its being processed.

We had to get a rental while my son's car was having the engine replaced, they had none available so since i work for a dealer i rented one from them after confirming that i could be reimbursed. I have paid cash of almost $1500 am a single mom and can't afford to be without that much of my savings.
I have submitted all the documents required and have been waiting for a check for almost a month now, no one can give me a straight answer or help me in tracking down why the check hasnt been issued or mailed out. I find this to be very unprofessional and with me working in customer service myself for the past 20 years i find it unacceptable the way this has all been handled.

Upon hearing that I was gathering information about a purchase, he told me that I should leave my contact information and return when I had finished my research. There was no room for discussion. His tone was dismissive and condescending. Entirely the antithesis of what I encountered when purchasing the Santa Fe from Iris, back in March.

My complaint is that my car is one of the Hyundai's that have the issue with being stolen. Thankfully my car was not stolen but there was an attempt and now we can not drive it because the ignition is damaged and has to be replaced. I would like to be reimbursed for my expenses as well as my discomfort for not having a car.
I have a car that I have been without for 3 months for a simple engine replacement and minor body work from a comprehensive collision claim back on April 7th.
Finally they returned the car back to me, work incomplete, body work promised at that location was not done. Then when I went to get in the car my front side panel/bumper had been damaged. While at that facility. Blaming on tow truck company and geico has contacted them and can provide pictures proving that not to be the case.
They are skirting the issue and not communicating with me. They have not been helpful and says manager will get back to me but “probably” not today. I’m furious. I have had 3 different Hyundai vehicles since 2012 and have been happy except for the service department at this particular location.

I was approved so fast because all my cars I have own, I never missed a payment. Now I want my gap insurance back and when I call they tell me you own a payment and I tell them that I trade the Hyundai Elantra in for an Oldsmobile.

My vehicle was undergoing a oil consumption test when the engine seized while driving. After a month it finally got the engine replace and on the day I picked it up while driving home it broke down again. It seem like a transmission problem.
Upon a brief inspection I saw loose bolts, a bolt sitting on the windshield grill under the wipers, electrical wires not in their protective secure routing. Now the vehicle is in at the dealership again and I'm getting a nonchalant responses from the service person (Frank Picciotti).

No complaints about operation. Many complaints about peeling paint,broken door handles and cracked dashboard. My car runs great but is embarrassing to drive because it looks so horrible. Yes it is old 2010 but even Consumer Reports says this year car had many body work problems. Too late for me.
I probably won't live much longer! It would be nice to get a free paint job however. I paid Macco 500 two years ago and the peeling started almost immediately after it was done. Peeled before Macco and after. I guess I should be happy it runs so well however!

Over charging for maintenance related to 2012 Hyundai Tucson.
In February, I went to Bob Rohrman Hyundia for a routine oil change. I was advised that I needed to brake pads on all 4 wheels.
Written quote as for $680 (approx) for front pads $790 (approx) for rear pads.
Since I have been burned by other dealerships, I took my car to my mechanic.
He replaced all 4 brake pad, replaced rotars on front wheels and replaced a part that he showed me was frozen on one of the rear wheels. (which was also leaking oil).
TOTAL FOR REPAIRS AND LABOR COSTS WERE $570.!

I went in for an oil change. The coupon was advertised as a Synthetic oil change for $39.99 They told me I had a nail in my tire and that because of where the nail was located it couldn't be repaired. I would have to buy a new tire (two probably in order to have it balanced with the same amount of tread on each tire). My tires are less than a year old. I bought them at Les Schwab. I had them put the spare tire on and I took it back to Les Schwab. They were able to fix it - for free!! Les Schwab has great customer service.

THEN!!!!! I was told that they would compensate me for all of the weeks of rentals that I had to pay out of my pocket. I went to Mountain View Hyundai on March 14th. I went to test drive a Venue; however, the color was much different than what was on the website. I found a 2023 Hyundai Kona SEL with Convenience Package in Cactus Fern that I fell in LOVE with.
