My Hyundai Sonata has been in the shop (Brookshire dealer for 10 days) now, they said they are talking to USA Hyundai engineering to see what the problem is. Can any manager tell me what is going on, why it is taking that long to fix the problem?

and can any one of you tell me why it is taking that long to decide to buy back the car? This is the fourth time this car has gone back to the dealer, and each time it has stay at least a week.

Do not be fool to buy the car for the warranty of 100,000 mile or 10 years The worst decision I have ever made buying a Hyundai. if there is (0) star I will give (0) to Hyundai

I regret buying Hyundai Elantra 2023, from Hyundai Langley. I made 3 visits in the last 10 days, I was told I needed wheel alignment when I came in for service. I made an appointment for the following week for wheel alignment, and when I went there for wheel alignment I was told I needed 2 new tires.

Just after 7 months and 16000 kms I was told I needed new tires. There was no damage or cuts that I could’ve caused while driving. Quality of tires was BAD, service manager tried to show me the damage on tires and there was nothing that could prove that I caused any damage to the tires while driving Manager just denied covering the cost of tires and

Hello Sir, We own a Hyundai car and it stopped twice in middle of the road.

First time we took to dealership they said the we refilled the oil and it works ( However the oil was changed few weeks ago) and returned the car back to us. We had to pay $280. Then the car stopped after a month and we took it to the dealer again .

its almost 3 weeks and they are not able to provide any information. No coverage rental car was provided. They said the manufacturer is looking into it. Kindly assist. We bought a certified pre-owned 2020 Tucson and after 2 weeks the engine was hesitating and the check engine light was flashing. I managed to drive the 4 miles home limited to 20 MPH, and my wife called our salesman.

He told us to call Hyundai Roadside Assistance, and a tow truck was at our house in no time. The car was towed to a different Hyundai dealer than where we purchased it. We purchased it from Bowser Hyundai in Pittsburgh, PA and the car was towed to Wright Hyundai in Wexford, PA.

This happened on a Saturday afternoon. When I called Wright on the next business day (Monday), the service rep “John” verified my phone number and said he’d have it looked at later in the day. Five hours passed and I ended up calling him but there was no answer.

My car has been at the dealership undergoing an engine replacement due to it messing up at 90,000 miles. It has been there since the second week of January 2023. I have been told on multiple occasions that I would be getting a loaner car the following week or I was at the top of the list to get a car.

However, I am now being sent to voice-mail with Jerell and it seems he is avoiding me. My husband got in contact and Jerell told him we were 18th on the list but being moved to 8th and it looks like we might get my actual car back before we ever get a loaner.

On Friday, October 28. 2022 I received information with my assigned case number - 20507623. I submitted all the requested information, and then my problems started. 60 for my vehicle rental while my car was being repaired. One person even told me that she did not need to give me her last name because she was the only person in her department with her first name.

The Hyundai Customer Care has been the worse experience I have ever had with any company, I have been sent a new email with a new case number, -20975895 requesting the same information plus a strange document. I went to the dealership, and they did not know what the new document was.

All electrical - dome light, seat function will do everything but go back up. Wiring replaced but tail light keeps going out on one side after working a short period. Blower replaced a few times still had heating issues- Plastic parts - In the past- @ 98,000 miles motor blew up on highway.

Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, I called Hyundai Sheehy of Waldorf, to have an appointment setup for a recall on my 2013 Hyundai Tucson. Speaking with advisor, Clyde Herring, I asked if I could get an appointment on Saturday because of my working schedule?

C Herring indicate recalls can not be done on Saturday's and set the appointment for Monday, Feb. 7, at 7:45am. I drop my vehicle off and received a call approximately 2:30 from Jervon Young, state my vehicle was ready for pickup.

I explain that I work until 5:00 and will be there by 5:30pm. I arrived approximately 5:25 pm to the services dept. sign the document, receive 0 balance receipt, then follow J. Young out to locate my vehicle, which was back up to the left side of building at the services dept. door.

I bought my Hyundai Tuson from Connollys Htundai in Galway. Reg no 201G279. I had my car in for a health check on 31may 2022 at approx 49000km. I was advised when I collected my car that the next service was at 90000km. 22.

However on 7/12 22 the breaks failed and I could not drive the car. I contacted Hyundai and was again told by the service staff that the service was due at 90000. On the suggestion of hyundai service I contacted AA and my car was towed to the hyundai service station in Oranmore Co Galway.

The following day I had a phone call from the service Manager to say that my car should have been serviced at 78000 and that my warranty was no longer valid. I explained that I had been advised that the service was due at 90000km.

Hyundai’s sales people and the service reps use pressure tactics to try and make you feel obligated to buy their products. Then when you tell them you know what they are doing their reply is we don’t do that anymore. What?

They actually do things that aren’t legal like ground your car without telling you, which means you’re driving around like a criminal with no insurance, title or tags. The supervisors apologize but still vouch for them. They are a horrible company to do business with.

Re: new 2020 hyundai Ionic electric. In the beginning of 2022 the coolant system was replaced at Hyundai Downey CA. Soon after more issues occurred on the vehicle. Warning lights would appear on the display. In November 2022 Hyundai Downtown LA updated the software.

More Warning lights started popping up and on January 20, 2023 the brakes locked after using the hand brake. The car was towed to Hyundai Downtown LA and has been there since. I have not received any updates and the customer service reps never respond to my calls.

The only statement from them was that they dont know what the problem is.

Made Jan 6 appt for steering diagnostic check at 7:30 AM with Brandon at Coconut Creek Hyundai in Florida. He did not arrive until 9:30, and told me I should have taken a Lyft home. At 11:30 he got car and told me needed to order part and would call in a week. He never called.

When you call any number for service department, no one answers.

Finally reached him after 2 weeks. Made appt for Feb 4 at 8AM for steering column to be installed. Once again Brandon arrived 90 minutes late, and then sent me home in a Lyft. He called 3 hours later to tell me part was missing.

He never contacted Lyft for a return to dealership. I wasted a day off work, and had to spend 20$ on Uber back to dealership. Kune manager was so rude and informed me PART WAS NEVER ORDERED?! Why was I given appointment?

On a positive note! I live in Orlando,Fl on a 3,500 mile road trip my 2022 Tuscon (22,000 miles) transmission failed in Savannah,Ga. The transmission replacement went well. Vehicle transported back to Fl. No Issues. There were some discrepancies with the replacement vehicle reimbursement, but ultimately satisfactorily resolved.

I purchased a new 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz at Hyundai of Fort Myers in Ft Myers Florida on 11/11/2022. I traded in my 2021 Hyundai Kona. 00. The Salesman took $17,000 for the payoff balanced. When I questioned him, he assured me that if there is an overage, Hyundai Finance will mail me a check for any overage.

When upstairs to the finance department to apply for a current loan for the 2023 Santa Cruz, I questioned that amount again to the finance manager who told me the same information about receiving an overage check from Hyundai Finance. I then asked the finance manager when will my old loan be paid off because I have a payment due 12/8.

He told me to stop the recurring payment from my bank and the Ft Myers Hyundai will send the payoff check in a week and not to worry. Fast forward to…

We bought the car on Dec 12. Danuta Gacek, my mom, gave a check for a written amount of $8,000 but the numerical amount was $18,000. She came the next day to Patrick Hyundai to give them the correct amount of $18,000 on a check.

The dealer deposited both checks, so both checks were taken out of my mom's account. We had so many problems trying to get this problem fixed going through different managers, Edwin, Joe, etc.

Finally, we managed to get a check for $8,000. Hyundai said they will send $10,000 electronically from their bank to ours. We still have not received this money yet. The general manager also yelled at my mom when she was there to talk to about this.

When I purchased my Hyundai Sonata I saw a nice big sign that claimed that my maintenance was covered. Well much to my dismay that only covers an oil change, tire rotation. ThT service s is done after 5,000miles. That is such a joke. and false advertisement.

I just called to make an appointment for maintenance and I’m being told that I have about $500 or more worth of maintenance. My husband is now in a nursing home and I cannot pay this. The reason I purchased the Hyundai is because your LARGE SIGN read complimentary maintenance.

I was in the process of purchasing a car from the Mall of Georgia dealership. After making my decision, I asked how much time it would take to do the paperwork because I needed to leave and get my grandkids off the bus.

My car needed to be towed to Roseville Hyundai for software update and during the time it was at the dealership, we had to get a rental for work and school. I filed the campaign reimbursement in November within a week but every time we get an email stating that you need more info, I send it right away, my case still gets closed.

after research I learned that there is a recall on engines having the very issue I’ve experienced. I had my truck towed to a Hyundai dealership on 12/27/2022 and it has yet to be resolved. The dealership claims they have submitted a repair request for approval and I’ve heard nothing.

I’ve never had any issues with my truck until now so this is definitely a manufactured issue. And I’m inconvenienced because that is my main transportation. I can’t afford to rent a car. And no one seems to care with getting this resolved because you’re not the ones in this situation.

My car has been in the dealers service department for a month. No follow up has been relayed to the customer and I am running out of money for Uber and rentals.

Towed to dealer 12/8/2022. Currently still there and the dealer has basically done nothing. Fist time I talked to Dave Baldino (Burns in Marlton, NJ) was when I showed up in his office on 12/27/22. As of today, 01/03/23 no response.

My Hyundai is at the Future Hyundai of Concord in California since September 26 due to someone trying to steal it. There is no ETA for the part, no loaner vehicle, and so many broken promises. I have depleted my savings for a rental car.

Hi I had to take my car to parkway Hyundai in Wilmington north Carolina. Where I had a recall on my car about my engine last year they told me it was fix. Then I got to car accident after that my car engine stop working.

2015 Hyundai Santa Fe got into limp mode, not able to pass 60 mph, and acceleration is greatly reduced. Went to dealer to have it fixed under warranty. Dealer would not provide a rental vehicle even vehicle problem is under warranty, told me to rent a car and submit all document to Hyundai to get reimbursed.

Now 3 months after document submitted, still not getting reimbursed for the car rental, even after 3 phone calls, they promised to escalate the process, but still nothing. Such a bad company, along with bad dealer. BTW, the engine problem is well known, they knew about it also.

Dear Reader, My son and his fiancée purchased a 2015 Santa Fe two years ago from a car dealership. They loved the room it had, as they have three children.

My son’s fiancée was driving to work and the car stalled, they had it towed to a Hyundai dealer and was told they would need a new engine. The cost would be around $15,000. They currently have a loan on this vehicle of $15,000 remaining. The car was about 5000 miles passed the warranty they purchased.

They are a young couple and do not have those funds available to them. Since the car stopped running it was towed to our home to prevent storage fees. My son just passed away suddenly on Sept 24th– leaving his fiancée with a car loan of $15,000 and the motor does not run and no car, with three children.

To Whom it may concern, I am an owner of a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I became the owner in 2019 to which I am still making payments on. In September 2022 I started noticing that the paint on the hood of the vehicle started to have a bubble and soon after the paint started peeling.

I just don't understand how a vehicle only 4 years old and I only been the owner for 3 years that the paint is having such a defect. I am a retiree and on a fixed income with inflation being so high I do not have the financial means to repair a paint job that truly your company should be responsible for.

I can't even afford to make a claim through my car insurance. I look forward to a response from your company in regards to this complaint. I feel that Hyundai should be responsible for correcting this paint…

I had a very pleasant call in reference to my service experience at Leduc Hyundai Alberta, on 23 Nov 2022. I gave a replay at the time based on my drive home with really no sober second thought.

My son noticed on the invoice my brakes were recorded in very poor condition. This was not pointed out to me or discussed at the service centre. My drive home could have been a disaster.

A small leak was reported on the invoice again not discussed, the small leak was a missing part. A leak of any description is an ecological issue at any level.

My Elantra is in a local shop to have the brakes replaced and a gasket replaced and a broken or stripped wheel nut replaced.

My 2014 Santa Fe is at a Hyundai dealership in South Carolina which it broke down on me 300 miles from my home. This was November 9th and I can’t get any one to help me with a rental vehicle .

The vehicle lost power and it has been approved by Hyundai for repair. I need someone who will actually assist me in car rental, towing and set it up for my vehicle to be towed back to me whenever it’s repaired.

Case #20493176. I would prefer offering no stars to your Customer Careless Dept. After numerous calls about a safety issue, I have been repeatedly lied to. Each time I call, I am informed a call to me is scheduled for the next day.

I was also told that I was called and emailed, which is a blatant lie. After complaining once again to a manager, my caseworker finally called. She informed me I would get a call back tomorrow. Once again, I never had a call returned.

My final call was this morning and I predicted to the Rep that a call was scheduled for the next business day. That is exactly what she told me. This is my 4th Hyndai purchase and am appalled at being treated so badly, especially being lied to.

Hyundai is a awful company! They don’t stand by their vehicles… I have a cat 80,000 miles all put on by me and I’ve had 3 catalytic converters and a full engine rebuild! Can you say Lemon….
