My item was not delivered. Although ikea had all my information needed to make the delivery. I work in a hospital I may not always be able to answer my phone. Now I have to pay to re-deliver. This is America people are busy.

") R3-7-402(A)(6). After scanning all our items at the self-checkout, a candle holder did not have a upc code so we called over the checkout assistant- The bigger burly guy working the self-check-out closest to the escalators and main exit. 99. 99.

The clerk refused to fix the price. I asked if he would send an associate to confirm the price as mandated by R3-7-402(A)(6) and he refused. He refused to confirm the price using any store resource other than his tablet and then only to enter the price of the black candle holder.

By now the line had swelled and he said we would have to run all the way back and take a picture. I quickly shared with him R3-7-402(A)(6) and explained that I was not required to waste any more of my time to “prove” the listed price.

Fatima was very helpful and very friendly, I must say. But the IKEA system is dreadful and very rigid. Eventually I was offered a solution which is crazy to me. I have to check from time to time upon the availability of an item, I can order one 1 item for local pickup, as soon as I order 2 or more items it reverts me back to Florida and I cannot pick it up in Savannah, GA. So it seems that I must place 19 separate orders, pay 19 times and must make 19 trips to pick up all my goods. Drive 19 x up and down to pick up all items. Or make several trips to the store to pick up all items, drive every time 300 miles for a round trip. This is a complete waste of gas and insanely environmentally unfriendly. My order was canceled after IKEA confirmed the delivery on 09/08 in the morning. Order number: 442161276 Delivery Order Number: 159-442161276 Reference Case Number: 70855072 The customer service explained as "As per the case, it shows that the Sale Management department cancelled the order due to unavailability of the item at the distribution center and

full refund has been processed to your original account. " In this case, I am not responsible for their incapability to coordinate logistics and I will be paying for extra $70 dollars for the same item due to their mistake.

They should at least provide other options like picking up at store instead of refunding me without asking.

The random selection at self checkout is not random and is completely racist! I have been "randomly selected" twice just for buying candles! I want to know why IKEA is trusting a person looking at a camera to judge whether a person should be re-checked!

This company is awful. I've always shopped at Ikea growing up. Something has changed since COVID. Their prices have significantly increased, but customer service has decreased. I recently ordered a piece of furniture in-store, which was currently in stock but would not fit in my car so I paid to have it delivered later on during the week.

They were supposed to deliver it on a day off from work, but that did not happen. Instead, it was attempted delivery while I was at work on a different day. Living in Oakland, you can't leave things outside for they will be stolen so I told the delivery guys over the phone that it would likely be stolen if they left it outside on that day.

When my son and I arrived at IKEA different saving coupons were given to us and we were told that we are eligible to use them all with a 15% college students and the 5% K family members discount at the checkout. The cashier has a hearing impairment and we tried to communicate with her in writing.

When I showed her the coupons we have to apply to our purchases, she called a guy who came and told us that we can not combine the coupons we have. I tried to explain to him that we were told more than two employees upstairs who helped us; that we can use it.

Me, my husband and 3 children were completely utterly embarrassed by an employee who went out of his way to create a scean and LOUDY tell us we cut a bunch of people off in line. We had no idea and wouldve went to the line with no issues.

It was so embarrassing we just left our full cart and left. This employee was a big guy. Weighing about 500 lbs and had no right to approach me and my family like that. We shop at Ikea all the time and now, never again due to being so embarrassed.

Why couldn't that employee come over and personally tell us we cut in line inside of yelling it so everyone knew. I wish I could sue that man. I can't believe we were treated that way. My husband is going back to speak with him.

He didn't want to do it in fornt of my children.

Ordered the sliding door 18th June. Delivery goes to Billing address (Mumbai) then we call and get it delivered at our residence (Navi Mumbai). Next ay of the delivery the Assembly guys again go to the billing address.

Thing goes to next level when we we put a request to exchange the sliding doors with Hinged ones - reason for exchange: Sliding doors have huge gaps on the side and bottom of the frame. In a tropical country like India there is lots of dust which gets collected if wardrobes have such gaps.

The exchanged doors again goes to billing address - same thing repeated for assembly guy.

One of the new hinged door was damaged so we put request for replacing it.

Till date no replacement has come + all the doors - Sliding + damaged hinged door are lying at our home and my wardrobe…

I bought and paid transport and assembly of Pax wardrobe and I received a product with visible bumps and scratched , missing and defective parts. I done more than 5 complaints to Ikea Dresden starting with June 25, I was in the shop on June 27.

I I told them that from July 2 I will missing from home for a months. I waited one day (June 28) at home. I received a phone (June 29) from a rude person who is not working after 3 pm !?

I ordered a Sektion ringhult kitchen in September 2022 and till today I still have missing parts that did not come with my several orders. It took dozens of calls, several back and forth to the 2 stores close to where I live (still ~ 1h30 away by car) to get additonal parts that were missing in one of the numerous deliveries I received.

After 7 months, the contractor I had to find myself as IKEA had no one to recommend in my area, parts were still missing, some damaged and most importantly all the glass doors I had in my design for the wall cabinets were missing. I spent over 4h to order the missing parts, exchange the damaged ones and try to get my glass doors.

Hi, I returned one of my purchases from Ikea Turkey several months ago. They refused to refund instead gave me an Ikea card loaded with the amount in Turkish Lira. Now, after several months I am leaving Turkey and obviously I will not have the chance to buy from there so, I called Ikea Turkey to claim my money back in cash or bank account. Unfortunately, it was refused!

I was extremely upset and surprised while visiting the IKEA store Cardiff today (18/3/23). While using the male toilet near the main entrance. Two female cleaners walked in with mops unannounced. They did not knock or announce their arrival at all.

The toilet was fairly full with users. Each urinal was occupied. It was totally embarrassing and unacceptable. I feel there would be a national outcry if two male cleaners entered a female toilet . I will be very reluctant to use a toilet at any other IKEA store in the future.

IKEA is knowingly listing items as available that are on back order. I made a purchase 2/11 and my order was split to two deliveries. We received the first 2/22. The other was to come 3/6. On the day of 3/6 I received a new purchase order showing 4/12 as my new delivery date.

I have talked to the resolution center 4 times and called corporate twice. The resolution center claims these items are on back order and have been for months. I can go on their website right now and it will allow me to check out with the same items on “back order” saying they’re available and can be delivered to me by March 22.

I purchased the lommarp cabinet in August of last year. The door has recently developed a crack that has made it fall off the hinge. The cabinet now looks awful. I have reached out to customer service and my local store and have been told basically "too bad".

I have shifted to a new apartment in Federiksberg Copenhagen so I ordered few furnitures from Ikea Gentofte online and they delivered everything in our Building door as asked for but the problem is they left a 100kg wooden log as well.. when I called the delivery boy to pick it up they said you need to throw it by yourself..

now I have no idea how do I lift such heavy wooden log till the dustbin area? Is it normal to deliver the wooden log too?

I have had horrendous experiences with my last two orders. I was blatantly lied to by a service rep, as was confirmed by another rep. Im told that ikea understands my frustration and feels badly, but they can do NOTHING to compensate for my bad experience, other than refund my delivery fee.

This is the single worst customer experience I have ever had and don’t know of any other company that cares so little about their customers and our experiences with ikea. I will never buy another product from ikea and I will be sure to spread the word about the fact that ikea doesn’t care one bit about the customers. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I attempted to return today a twin comforter, Fjaalarnika, to your location in Schaumburg, Illinois. Admittedly, I left my receipt at the machine after using self-check out. Clearly my mistake. I purchased this within the last week, but not having the receipt was a big problem. The comforter was washed, and the seam split open and the care tag looked very washed out afterwards.

We purchased Ikea kitchen cabinets in August 2022. Half of our order was delivered to our address. We do live outside of Bakersfield but our first delivery made it. The rest of the order was put on a waiting list because of so called supply chain problems.

After calling 6 times to see if out order was in we finally got confermation that our order was in so delivery by CSRT Trucking would deliver on February 2, 2023. Then we get an updat that the delivery would be February 6, 2023.

After the third update for Feburary 8, 2023, I called Ikea customer service on Febbruary 8, 2023 to confirm the delivery. CSRT does not have a number to call to verify delivery and the link on the Ikea site does not work.

I am writing from Thailand. I made an online purchase with IKEA THAILAND on February 6 expecting the order to be shipped on the 7th or 8th. When I tried checking the status of my shipment today, it turned out that my package hasn’t even been shipped yet.

I called customer service and was told that they were experiencing order overflow and not sure when my package would be shipped out. I understand that these things could happen, but wonder why we were not notified of the situation on IKEA website so we could make the decision before placing the orders online.

Complaint About logistic of delivery.

I ordered a dining table with 4 chairs to my future new address to be delivered and mounted. On agreed delivery date we have to be there waiting since 7 AM. However only the table arrived without chairs. Logistic team instead claimed that they deliver the chairs another day and they could not change the date. but we are not available to wait in the new address. The chairs were dropped outside the door by main gate-- our room is on 4th Floor. We had to bring up the big box late at night when we were available. It is a very poor costomer experience.

This is not so much of a complaint as it is a suggestion. I bought a Hemnes bureau on Saturday, January 28, 2023. I was told that in order to have it assembles, because I could never assemble the many pieces in the three boxes, I would have to schedule and a task assembles via Taskrabbit.

When you go to taskrabbit, there are 4 pages of independent contractors, including pictures that you can choose from. Some are very sketchy looking and would have to think twice about booking them. It seems rather strange that each contractor charges a different amount to assemble a piece.

00 and hour to over $300. and hour !!! I'm assuming there is a price to fit all budgets, but unbelievable to me that someone would pay over $300 an hour to assemble a piece of furniture. I…

I am writing to express my disappointment with the delivery experience I had today. Despite my expectations for exceptional customer service from IKEA, the delivery service in Morocco was far from satisfactory.

I was informed that my delivery would take place at 4:00 PM on January 19th, 2023, Moroccan time. Then did not arrive, it has taken me more than an hour to get through to customer service each time, and they have been little help, your online chat services continually cut me off for in activity without warning.

I ordered bed frame and it came damaged. It was a huge damage. But we still considered keeping it. My husband took 3 hours putting it together. Then it did not come with the bed slat. I misread when I ordered.

When I called them to send us one because it was not available at any nearby stores. I called 4 times, sent 4 emails explaining and they said they will expeidate it. No word from email. Every time I called a rep would tell me otherwise.

Now I been sleeping on the floor with my mattress. I am 9 months pregnant and I am due any minute now. I have a bed frame with no bed on it. The bed frame and mattress on the floor taking up space.

I still have to put the baby’s things. They are not being helpful at all. I do not know what else to do at this moment.

Very bad service. I tried changing my order delivery date as I can only do this after placing an order. Then your CS person could not change it at the time and I had to again contact you closer to the date - when I was out of the country to arrange the date.

Then I did manage to change the date - very specifically I needed the goods on 02 Jan 2023. You could not accommodate me in this date. We arranged 03/01/2023. I stayed home as I live alone to receive my parcel.

Placed an $8K order on 11/18. Delivery scheduled for 12/5 and never showed. Contacted me for delivery on 12/12. Showed and missing 3 items. My bad but trucking company only marked 2 items missing. Said IKEA would contact me regarding the missing items. They did not.

I was recently treated extremely bad at the Costa Mesa store in California. I have been an ikea customer since college and I am now almost in my 40s. I went this morning and designed my closet. Then went down to pay.

I recently got married so my ID doesn’t match my credit card. They did a look up for me and the woman said it was no problem since all everything else matched my social and address and birthdate and I had other cards already in that name.

So she gave me the temp card and told me to goto the checkout. I waited 20 minutes and when I got there I gave the guy my info and the temp card and explained to him the situation. Quite literally the worst customer service experience I have had with any company regarding anything. No one can answer anything and no one has/will divulge contact information for anyone who can. I booked a virtual planning session and the planner showed up nearly :20 late, wound up sending the login information for our next session :05 into the start, and completely stood me up for the next meeting.

They do not reply to emails nor do the have easily accessible information on their website to follow up with the appropriate department. Just an utter and complete mess.

I ordered a morabo loveseat on Tuesday Dec 27, 2022, order no. 427317957. I received nice texts from RXO saying the window was from 1-5 pm and would be notified 30 min before arrival. None of this happened. My loveseat was delivered to my neighbor’s house 2706 Filbert not to my house 2706 Felter Lane.

It was dropped on their front porch and I was not notified of any arrival. Despite 3 hours of trying to get it properly delivered to my house,through customer support who were worthless in resolving this matter, my sons carried it down the hill to our house so it wouldn’t be on their porch after dark. This is totally unacceptable.

I was on the ikea.com site "chatting" with Adam in regards to my order. He stated in chat that my order will not be boxed & shipped for another 7 - 10 business days. I asked whom I can elevate this to, he provided the 1-888 number. I spoke with Brian on the phone. He identified himself as the only one available (no supervisor / manager on duty). He stated that the item was boxed & ready for shipping but blamed the delay on FedEx. I asked for the tracking number and he could not provide it.

I could give -5 as well. I bought bed frame and it broke within 2 months, it was disaster for me and mu spouse. We are new immigrants and do not have a car. I asked for replacement since it is IKEA policy for 1 year, It's been 2 months, I called them more than 100 times and till now nothing happens.

Finally, they admitted that the order had not in fact been shipped. I then requested to cancel it, which they did, and I will check to see if I ever get the $$ refunded to my CC. The order number was 426668266.

Customer service is pushing the responsiblities and do not care the customers, the kitchen installer is horrible but IKEA kitchen recommonded then they do not care afterwards
