On October 25, 2022 I purchased the Billy Bookcase with glass doors in the dark blue color. It was delivered on October 29, 2022. When I opened the boxes the shelves were all defective. There were no dowel holes or screw holes.

When I first called they sent me out 2 (of 10) replacement shelves which were also defective.

For seven (7) weeks I called repeatedly and each time was told they would send the replacement parts. On 12/06/2022 I called and was told the item was not available and they would have to do a pick up and refund.

I am EXTREMELY upset, I waited a year to make this purchase, as delivery was unavailable during Covid.

I have been a customer of IKEA for many years and I am very disappointed with the run around I've gotten and your resolution.

I placed an order on line. Was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd tried tracking kept saying the same thing on we were on the 4th of December. I had to call to find out what was going on to find out the items were on back order and had to reschedule another delivery date.

Then I get my order coming from fedex but I don’t see an apt number. So chat with someone who started off pleasant and the became rude. blame me for not placing the apt number and told to cancel my order for my mistake.

Which I could not even if I wanted to do because my order was on its way. I called the next day. To speak to a live person. To find out the apt number is there on their end and it is what fedex will see.

I do not know if the chat is with live people or a robot he/she was rude and has no customer…

Bear with me as I share the awful challenging and tiring experience I have had with my Ikea project.

First of all, when planning the project and putting items in the cart, there is no indication that items are not available UNTIL you go to check out and then the messages of not available for delivery, or not in stock show up. So after spending at least 50 hours for 3 projects, I was left with purchasing a partial project and waiting for additional elements to become available.

The project I am speaking of is a Pax closet w Komplement shelves and pull out shelves, drawers etc. I received the box/frame of the closet without the shelves. The shelves were in stock later and I had to order them for a pick up which meant additional money I had to spend to get the items in my home. ( it was not…

I went to the East Palo Alto IKEA store this morning at 10 am to buy a replacement kitchen faucet. After paying for it at 11 am, I had to wait at pick-up for two hours until 1 pm to get my merchandise. I was among many angry customers who were in the same boat, wondering why their orders were not coming down. This is beyond ridiculous and unacceptable! As a result, I will not soon return to IKEA. Had an ikea kitchen installation it was the worst experience I have ever had with any retailer.lack professionalism and experience.the kitchen designer was nice yet not experienced and had problems with my merchandise. I am an high tec entreprenur that lives and breath the importance of customer satisfaction in my company and investments. i am astonished by the behaviour my wife and I encountered while trying to buy a small kitchen from the Tel Aviv port Ikea kitchen store.

I have ordered 5 items from Ikea on 20 Nov it was scheduled to be delivered on 22 Nov, one of the 5 items has been delivered but the baby cribs and bed was not. we have tried to reach out to the ikea and every time they give us different explanation on why we did not receive the items, we been sleeping on the floor ever since, the customer service telling us the item was blocked, postponed because of technical issues, mistake every time different story.

it was a nerve racking, stressful situation and yet no solution the item not delivered the service very bad, lack of communication, rude staff, minimum understanding, no one tell us the truth about why we did not received the items yet

Cashier #4 tonight 11/11/22 at the Baltimore MD location all but disregarded me at the register. When I got to the register there were 2 customers ahead of me. When it was my turn she asked me to step back.

She didn’t give me anymore information. She proceeded to scan merchandise laying on her counter. Still no explanation as to what she was doing as I continued wait. Then she instructed a lady who walked up behind me to give her the item she went back for.

I am writing to comment on something that impacts so negatively and unnecessarily on retail companies and specifically IKEA which has arrived in Chile with great expectation. I have visited IKEA in Australia, Spain and Germany and have always been well looked after.

Here in Chile on 25 September I bought a table and 6 chairs, an order that was to be delivered between 16 and 18 October. On October 20th they delivered 6 chairs and the legs of the table and since then I have called at least 4 times and sent at least 3 emails, without any response from them to give a solution to this.

They are all nice, the answer to the emails is cut and paste and they answer the same thing and there are no solutions. What do we do in Chile that they serve us so differently from Europe or Australia?

Horrible experience with a canceled delivery today, 10/31/22 . After 3 messages from Ikea and the transport company and a phone conversation with the transport company yesterday, 1030/22, i just find today that the couch is not at the hub, so delivery could not happen.

This is so sad to see the misscomunication between Ikea and the transport company, Sad and disrespectful for me the customer who made arrangements with my neighbor who had to stay at my home waiting for the scheduled delivery; since it was asked from me that someone older than 18 years old to be present for delivery . I have bought a lot of furniture from ikea these past few months and not once but 4 times I have had my deliver or assembly date changed or cancelled without me being notified. I’ve wasted hours and days that I’d cleared for these services that I paid for to happen.

If assembly service will only happen IF I personally confirm with the assembly company then that should have been communicated to me at the time I paid for assembly and organised a time or else it is nothing less than reasonable for me to assume that the service will happen on the agreed date. I am writing about how horribly made the black stools are. I purchased 6 for my classroom.

First of all, I spent my own money for these stools in my classroom and they all broke within a month. And they are only 2nd graders. They don’t weigh much. So because I didn’t have my receipt and frankly had no idea when or how I paid for them ( since as a teacher I buy A LOT for my classroom all throughout the summer and the school year).

My husband bought some industrial strength glue to glue the tops back on. THAT didn’t even work for a day. It is very disappointing to spend so much money for absolutely nothing. And since my class does flexible seating I now have a whole tall table with no stools.

Ikea did not send communication online or via phone that couch was not going to be delivered on Oct 1st between 9am & 9pm. Order number is 421253426. I was essentially held captive all day waiting on a delivery. I called Ikea on Sept 30th and sent a chat to them today and both times they confirmed delivery was going to take place.

I never received an email notification of a canceled delivery. The only way I found out was because I called Ikea at about 7:45 pm this evening. I am very disappointed as i just joined the Ikea family a month ago and I love their products.

I understand that things can go wrong, but it's very unprofessional not to initiate contact with the customer. I would like to receive a price reduction on this product as a result of this major inconvenience. Thank you.

Went to your West Chester store in Cincinnati Ohio and found a light green light I wanted to buy while I was in town and no one would sale to me because it was the weekend and that was the rules. 99, and the last one in all the stores.

I spent 45 minute in your store so I could buy since I live 7 hours away. I was told to come back Monday that’s the rules. Very rude sales person. Any help would be appreciated, but I’m sure it’s gone now.

I order a queen bad and cabinet and schedule to deliver on 9/10/2022 the delivery never call or text a day before like ikea representative states to give out the time frame for drop off, they call in the morning of and I missed the call. I call back in like 1 minute after and confirm the delivery and they already marked fail to delivery because attempted to call but no answer.

I contact ikea and the representative find out the delivery company didn’t have my items on the truck and didn’t have my number which obviously they did. Very shady business and ikea didn’t do anything about this to help they customers , they only tell me to reschedule and nothing they can do.

Placed a big order - it was divided into 3 parts. The first part arrived. Second part did not make it - got an update saying that IKEA will contact me. They did not contact me for 5 days.

The delivery partner company (IKEA@pavanrooyen.nl) said that they have no idea what happened & asked me to contact IKEA. It took me 20 mins to hold the line & the disinterested staff with broken english said: `First available delivery is after 15 days - yes or no`. I had no choice but to say yes.

Finally, the third part of the delivery got magically cancelled with a refund. However, parts of furniture already delivered in first delivery. What am I supposed to do with half chair without legs? Now I have two options - either to refund the 1/2 chair by going to IKEA or pay them 50 EUR again for trucking…

Hi! I received the wrong items for order (case id 159-65421556) and called Ikea and was able to get support after waiting. They promised to send the item that they did have available but they have yet to be delivered after some time.

The rep was very polite and let me know they would come and pick up the wrong items and then I could get a refund.

However, I received emails from Fedex afterwards asking that I drop off the items at the Fedex store. Since the items are bulky, I thought it was odd to have to take the items to Fedex for an error on Ikea's part.

On 31 August 2022 My husband and I traveled an hour from our home to the IKEA store, Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport to purchase a UTESPELARE gaming desk. 27. € 179,00 for my daughter's birthday. Complaint number 1: The desk on display had a red tag with all the information in order to find it in the warehouse section of the store.

Unfortunately the shelve was empty of the item. The store's computer system indicated there was in fact 1 desk still available for purchase but that was apparently untrue. The sales rep in the office furniture department looked to see if the desk was available at the Aigaleo River West store 42 km away.

Worse CS in my lifetime, If possible, I would like to give 0 stars!! Always not able to check out due to being out of stock and not showing which item is out of stock. While the item is back in stock, it is not able to add to the order that was placed for next week's delivery.

Dear Ikea person, We have been Ikea customers for many years now and never had a reason to complain. We recently purchased a few items from the Ikea branch in Netanya (Israel) including two closets. We paid for the closets to be delivered and assembled.

The delivery was scheduled for the following day and the assembly was scheduled for approx. 3 weeks later. When the delivery arrived, my wife asked the delivery men to place each closet to it's designated room . The delivery men informed her that they have now idea how do do so and simply placed the the cartons randomly in the two rooms.

The issue that I experienced was: We had a kitchen designed in-store, and they placed an end panel next to our freestanding washing machine to support the worktop.

We've just put the kitchen together months later, ready to have the worktop fitted, and the end panel is much too short to go from the floor to the worktop. I've attached photos of the design and the reality to clarify.

This is going to delay the worktop fitting, which will delay the floor fitting and us being able to move - costing us stress as well as money.

I initially ordered a mattress from you to go onto an existing Ikea bed frame that I already have. The mattress arrived and it was not the correct size. The bed frame I have is a king size however when the mattress I initially ordered arrived it was not suitable and was too big. I enjoy shopping at your store and make a 3 hour drive just to shop there. I visited the Atlanta IKEA and bought the VIHALS shelf. I had to pick it up from the pick up department. I go check in and told it will be 20-25 minutes.

I was ok with the wait. After an 1 and half wait still no shelf. I have to continue to check in on my order I’m told they can’t do anything or how long it will be. The workers seemed frustrated and just rude about having to keep checking.

One lady checks but still no update. She tells me to just get a refund. I waited almost 2 hours and go get in line for a refund. It will be my last time shopping at IKEA due to the poor service and attitudes of workers, who seem to have no customer service training.

I have ordered 2 bed frames by mistake. When I received them I contacted I kea for pick up. They directly deducted 70 dollars for pick up. I was giving an appointment for pick up between 9-5, it was Saturday so I took time off work and they did not show up.

The most terrible experience ever…I’ve never had any issues with Ikea prior, however this time was different.

First of all my initial order was partially lost, no one knew where it was. Then after talking to customer service they supposed to pick up partial order and deliver full new order. Then no one could tell me what date it was scheduled for.

Finally when I got a message with pick up and delivery date I called again and rescheduled since I was going on vacation. I have confirmation email with new delivery date 2 days prior to delivery. While I’m on vacation my order was just left on the porch on original delivery date and when I called again customer service told me that ikea needs 3 days to synchronise new delivery date with actual delivery.

I received a gift card voucher for Christmas of 2021. Since the closest IKEA store is two hours away, I've only now found time to go shopping there. Since I only have the confirmation form for the card but not the card itself, I've been trying to find out how this can be used either online or in the store.

Their customer service hotline has cut me off multiple times once I get to the step where it says to press 2 for a representative. Their online fix-it chat is a bot that just asks for key words to your problem and then provides links with the key words featured.

Completely and totally unhelpful and pointless.

This order was lost by FedEx and then ultimately delivered but too late for me to use it. I contacted IKEA customer service last week to arrange to have the product picked up for return. After waiting five days for someone to email the return label to me, I contacted your Resolution Dept only to be told that “my issue is being worked on and there’s nothing more anyone can do.”

I placed a kitchen cabinet order on July 8th with a delivery date of July 21 I waited all day and even the next day without the delivery showing up. I tried to call Friday afternoon but was unable to reach anyone.

I called again to day to find out my order was canceled without any notice to me. The lady on the phone said it was because of the warehouse fire but that was 4 weeks before I placed and paid for my order.

She then told me I would get a refund in the next 10 days and transferred me to the kitchen order department where I waited 10 minutes on the phone and gave up. What makes this worse is my builder is leaving the country this week.

I ordered four baskets and they came in a large carton. They do not work for me and customer service told me I have to bring them in to return, that it would cost $200 for a pickup. No wonder Amazon is thriving -- this is outrageous.

I am 85 years old and cannot drive so now I am out $89 for a product I cannot use.

I have had to contact ikea ikea 7 times and and still my issue has not been resolved I purchased a whole unit which consisted of a book and TV unit the tv unit was not complete with all the parts. I've called 6 times but I'm forgetting this resolved and sending me a new TV unit and taking back what I had but today but today they called to tell me they were making a pick up and
