This place is horrible. This is the last year I get my taxes done by a preparer. I’ll file my own taxes because this is the worst and then the tax preparer response is you just have to wait and I dink know.

How you file someone’s taxes but you don’t know anything. Crazy do better

Jackson Hewitt messed up my taxes in 2020. I had some variables that occurred after that kept me from getting the notices from the IRS Ultimately I am now 8000 Dollars in debt to the IRS. I took my notices to Jackson Hewitt to try and help me remedy the situation and they haven't done anything.

They don't return my calls and they have acted very unprofessional. So not only did their negligence cause this unnecessary tax debt. I am currently experiencing financial difficulty since I've been unable to file this year and can't get my refund.

They never filed my state taxes and I paid already and now no one never opened the location where I file and they telling me to come in and sign to send off but no one showed up

Jackson Hewitt good paid in full after filing my taxes and almost promising me I should have it in 21 days. Instead I'm audited again but the IRS which is a Joke and they are ruining people's tax file and cause hold-ups unnecessarily the.

Send you letters every 60 days saying thanks for your cooperation while you fall over from bills and life!!!!! Jackson Hewitt sat still the entire time with little to no assistance with anything I felt really betrayed by them knowing lost my wife and I needed my refund from hardship!!!!

I have been using this company for years. This year was horrible. I made 2 appt at the Olive branch MS location & the lady didnt show for either. The 2nd time I drove to memphis & then the lady from Olive branch calls me apologizing & said she could fit me in.

I said I was already in memphis. This made me even more angry. The lady at the memphis location didnt even do my state part & I had to ask her about it. Now its like 4 months out from this mess & I havent received my state taxes.

I filed with Jackson Hewitt January 21/2023 and I done it online as I normally do since I live over hour away, well my state (Illinois) taxes got paper filed due to injured spouse form and I get that! We took our mom's taxes to a Jackson Hewitt office in Grand Junction Colorado they ended up having to file an extention to wait while I got the 1099 form SS. The Kenosha, Wisconsin location did my 2022 taxes. The prep did not send my Homestead Credit paper or the W-RA papers into the state when I filed February 4th, 2023. I got a letter from the state regarding this on March 5, 2023.

It took 2 phone calls to get the prep to understand the state needs those papers. I made an appointment at the Douglas Ave Racine, Wisconsin location for my 2020 returns for 1pm march 17th. Upon arrival at 12:55pm the door was locked.

I am very upset. I have been using Jackson Hewitt for the past 5 years. I had a problem a couple of years ago where the tax specialist didn't file a form. They fixed it but I had to pay another fee.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to go to them. Last year, I had my tax specialist do my taxes, everything was fine. I found out that the State of Illinois was giving income tax rebates as well as property tax rebates for anyone that filed their taxes.

1st visit to your store the person on duty told me that I was going to have to pay out tax's for a very large amount of 10 thousand. I went home and researched the situation. I learned that she messed up and didn't enter the information correctly.

I returned the next day and told her where she made her mistake and how to correct it. I was correct and was glad to know that not only did not not owe 10 thousand but i had a refund due.

I paid for my taxes to be filled and for my money to be direct deposited to my checking account but the person that did my taxes did not put the correct checking account number on my direct deposit paperwork work. Had my taxes done at the Sanford, Maine Walmart on Jan. 11, 2023. Wanted the refund anticipation loan and was told this is what I was getting. Opted for direct deposit of the LOAN rather than having the funds put on a card.
