Jackson/Hewitts’ commercial is absolutely forrible and in poor taste. Take it down and fire your Marketing Department. Surely, a company such as Jackson/Hewitt, can come up with a commercial that doesn’t include a play on foul language and polarize a portion of customers/would be customers.

I was very offended by your recent “What the buck” commercial. How could anyone in authority in your company think this was a good idea. It has made me think that your company cannot be trusted to make appropriate decisions about anything including taxes.

I made an appointment to file my taxes I got there a little late I asked the tax preparer. Does she want me to reschedule? She said she would take me so I sat down. She asked me some questions.

She asked me do I work in another state, I told her I will be receiving a W-2 from the state of Georgia. I’m not sure win, but I would like to file my taxes now because I really need the money for my insurance and my license.

She told me that she wasn’t gonna take me because I didn’t have two W-2s but I am 100% sure that the IRS give you up to a year to file any W-2s that you have available, she wouldn’t take me. She wouldn’t even found my taxes.

Their website and all of the ads leave you to believe that getting a refund advance was super easy! I feel like I was conned. The gentleman who did my return was super nice, but he did not clarify anything until after he submitted my return and told me they were charging me $250 to file an a simple return.

He did not tell me that I fell under EIC and would not get my refund until the middle of February. I am dumbfounded as to how they think that it is ok to charge that much money, talked me into applying for the advance, again making it sound like it was not difficult to be approved because they do not base their decision on my credit.

My complaint is concerning a commercial now on TV with a guy sayin "WHAT THE BUCK" in a tone that is easily mistaken for another word at end of phrase.

OH MY GOSH!!! 3rd year in a row (and last) they have screwed up. Didn't know WHAT they were doing. I kept getting ,"uh, I don't know". EXCUSE ME??? They (the preparer AND the "supervisor" had no idea of what forms to use for EITC.

I have been dealing with Jackson Hewitt for the last 8 yrs or so this year I decided to not use their services because of 2 locations that are horrible the 147 and Broadway location and the 116 between 7 ave and Lenox Ave . I went in today to get an advance on my return. The lady was kind of snippy and she had helped me a couple of years ago. I asked if she was upset and she said, "oh, probably cause I'm really tired from working 12-hour days." NOT my problem.

I had explained to her how I REALLY needed the advance. My son was murdered in Los Angeles. Victim Assistance only paid for part of the funeral. Which left me with a huge amount that I was responsible for paying so I could bury my son. It ended up causing me to have to use bill money to come up with enough for the funeral. I had to wait over an hour as the only person that was working the booth kept letting the person in front of me get up and take breaks in between doing there taxes despite knowing that I had been waiting since 5:55 pm as my appointment was at 6:00 pm.

The lady was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and the best thing she could tell me was it didn't matter if it was 9:00 pm at night till she got to me. What is the point in making an appointment when you have to wait over an hour after the appointment to be waited on.

I had my taxes done in your waycross Georgia office. The irs took forever to process them because they calculated something wrong. I got almost $1000 less. I paid for the protection plan in case they screwed up. The office has returned none of my calls.

Christopher Campbell, the Jackson and Hewitt representative, took my sons' information and he has yet to receive his taxes. I have requested our income tax filing paperwork several times and I have yet to the information.

The Jackson Hewitt in Gastonia NC is terrible. They did not file my taxes correctly and when addressing my concern, they give me the runaround. Still waiting on my taxes. Definitely will NOT recommend them.

If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would. I dropped my taxes off to be completed. The lady called me and told me she needed last year's tax return to compare for whatever reason. Another week went by and taxes were still not done.

Our tax preparer messed up my now ex wife’s SS# and never followed up to make sure it was correct. On February 15, 2022 I decided I was going to change tax companies from TurboTax and switch to Jackson Hewitt tax service. At the time, Jackson & Hewitt was offering a $100 bonus for “switching to their company” Last year was super simple through TurboTax with no complications as usual but I decided to “switch” and

try Jackson & Hewitt out, plus they were offering that $100 incentive, which, for the record I DID NOT RECEIVE EITHER. This was the biggest mistake of my life. I have been working since I was 17 years old and I am now 47 and have never seen anything like this.

Not only did it take the tax preparer take 3 1/2 hours to simply prepare two simple tasks, I got charged $95 twice. One was for 2020 regarding my $600 missing stimulus check, and the other was for my refund for 2021.

Worst experience of my life! I’ve been with JH over 10 years, moved to Pa this year and attempted to get my taxes done. Staff doesn’t have proper access to allow them to complete a NY return a joke !

And still as of this very moment have my taxes on hold and they have not contacted me back! Cannot wait to file a report with the IRS in regards to their process. A joke as I sit at work I’m asked to be contacted as if my time is not as valuable as theirs is.
