I did my taxes w Jackson hewitt they charged me 1400.00 then messed up my taxes stating i worked somewhere i didnt im not understanding whts going on but im foing forward w this kids doing my taxes horrible..

Tax employee did not show up. Waited 45 minutes before I left. Very unhappy with service. Never recieved call explaining reason for not showing up. Walmart in Orange Texas 77630. Appoinment was for 11 AM 02/28/2022 and I left at 11:45

was told by a repressentaive i would be compensated for an error made to my taxes but when I spoke to my local JH was told this is my problem because I signed for it. I paid a professional to do my taxes not to be treated poorly or pay full price for her mistake.

jh filed my tax return with a mathematical error IRS reduduced their error ad JH refused responsibility and told me i signed it was my problem very rude and unprofessional

Y’all are extremely to high low income people can not afford coming there i been coming there for years but not no more when turbo taxes are way cheaper

They do NOT honor there guarantee! Been a long time customer and this year the lady screwed up our taxes! We got a lower refund then should have ! Have proof and they have a guarantee that they get you the biggest refund or u get ur fees back plus $100!!

Called every number, escalation department, opened ticket , and nothing! The manager hasn’t called back once and it’s been a month!! Everyone passes us off to someone else and not one person has helped us yet! Why have a guarantee if you don’t really honor it??

A cpa from your company allowed my daughter claim me and a few others falsely on her taxes the last 3 years until she removed my name from her taxes and I was told that I was sent all 3 stimulus checks and they were sent to her old address and she cashed them.

I want to make a complaint of one of your employees. She has been allowing my daughter claim people falsely on her taxes the last three years and is still doing it to this day. By doing this my stimulus checks were sent to her old old address and she cashed them.

I would like for this to be stopped asap. My daughter is only receiving money from these people to put money in her pocket only. Your employer does not ask for proof of what my daughter tells her. My daughter has lied on her taxes all three years of everything and no one is stopping her.

Your employer needs to be fired for this and irs needs to be notified of this.

I had taxes prepared thru williston ND Jackson Hewitt and after all was done I was told that printer wasn't working and i left with no copy of tax return. Funny thing is a week later I recieved a letter from the state of Montana saying they are auditing me and want tax papers?

If I could I would cancel my whole return with you guys I went and filed today and specifically told the employee that was filing my taxes that I did not want a refund advance but a hour later I get a text that says I’m approved for a refund advance.

I have received the Christmas loan from Jackson Hewitt for the last 4 years .. 75 an hour for the gross year. You can imagine it made it look like I made far less than I actually had!!!!! 2021 and NO ONE with your company showed up! This was going to be our first time using your service. No one called to day they needed to reschedule or anything! We got nothing! We even got text message and email confirming appointment and a text advising us to reply to once we got there, which we did, and got a reply that someone would be with us shortly. We waited an hour! I file for my stimulus check and it's been over 5 weeks already and every time I go to Jackson Hewitt they always say there's nothing there and they don't check the system to see if I have anything. I did research on line and it said that the IRS would never send stimulus checks to Jackson Hewitt office.

I feel that they are lieing about receiving the money and they are not given the customers there money. If they don't get the checks then what they be doing with people information? That's in there system. I feel they are stealing or lieing to me about it.

2 weeks were wasted waiting on a prepared 1040 document. The preparer was not professional. At the the appointed time he was not available l had to wait for him to show up. I explained about what needed to be addressed in the tax form the tax preparer become confessed.

After showing a previous document his seemed confused Then he said the document would be completed the following Monday or Tuesday. Then I received an email that another preparer would complete the form over the weekend. Their was no statement about having to set up an appointment.

Today when I met with the JH advisor In the walmart on auto center drive in Glendora. I can’t believe how rude she was to me. Several times she challenged what I said 1) needing adjusted gross income from prior year to send tax return electronically 2) unable to reach IRS by telephone (800) 829-1040 (irs COVID duh) 3) questioned my W4 4) challenged my 2019 Real Estate Tax receipt 5) challenged me on why I was not filing my 2020 return with her These are just afew examples.

I was near one of your locations..4955 sugarloaf parkway in Lawrenceville Ga. I have never been treated so horribly. I am 60 years old. My car broke down in the parking lot and I went and sat down in front of a shade tree in the parking lot. This women came out and hollered at me for sitting under a shade tree on the curb in there designated spots. I am 60 and was waiting for a tow truck and told her that my car broke down. She said she would call the police if I didn’t move. This was totally disrespectful to the elderly. I was just trying to cool off. I am a general manager at a restaurant and would never allow any of my employees to treat someone this way. I think this female employee needs to be talked to. This is 5 pm on May 19, 2020.

I truly regret givign this company a try. I thought they were a strong dependable brand. I was truly wrong and i will let everyone know irt. 95, received no tax transcript and to my surprise, my direct deposit information was not submitted to the IRS for my stimulus.

Me and my husband went into a local Jackson Hewitt Office in Houston. We went in there to see if we could get the advance. Lets start by stating that they have untrained worker in there that takes 2 hours just to do a simple return.

We went there with my husband last check stub and they lady used a fake EIN number and told us before they can submit that we have to bring them back the the W2. So on Jan. 31 2020 the W2 arrived in the mail.

I took it right away up there. Once there waited for an hour just to speak with a worker and there was 2 working that day with only 1 person in there. Long story short when she was trying to put the information into the computer she call her sup and stated that it was sent over already to the IRS.

Good evening. My name is Cindy Sadler, and I used Jackson Hewitt in Tulare Ca. located on Tulare ave as my tax preparers on 02/05/2020 for my 2019 return. One of the promotions advertised was the switch and get $100 on a serve card or on a Walmart card.

The date on the website as well as the date on the sign that was located on this particular buildings front window, and in fine print on the bottom of the sign specifically stated that this promotion was good through 04/15/2020, I made the tax preparer completely aware that I wanted to do the switch and get the $100 that day.

I decided to do my 2017 with Jackson Hewitt because I was filing late and you had an office open. This was 2017. I filed, turns out the filing wasn't signed correctly. Here comes 2018. I did an amended return because I changed my address, here comes 2019.

With the original return I was charged well over 200 dollars because I quote "we need to get paid". When I asked if I needed to file an amended because of new address the attendant said and I quote "Your asking to many questions I might have to charge you".

My original refund was 300+. 00 and I have no idea where my state tax refund for 2017 went to. This year I filed my own and received over 500+. I will never do business with Jackson Hewitt. Thank you for your time and high fees.

They have not provided me with my copies of my federal tax returns nor my state tax returns. When I have phoned them about that numerous times, they keep stalling me off!

Furthermore, I have a small tax return error and penalty from a previous year which they told em not to pay because they would take care of it. They do not come to get that either. I, therefore, am waiting for them to come to me, as they told me they would.

my 2011 taxes were fouled up and I am still paying the Federal Government 2011 taxes I have contacted the main manager in Buffalo NY. Taxes were prepared at the W Delevan and Grant St office. In 2017 we had our taxes filed in the Gonzales, LA Walmart. There was very little space for the preparer to work on. We gave him all our info. 00. We went to the the Gonzales, LA Office and spoke to the Regional Manager, Lauren Lusak.

tax return was filled out incorrectly by the tax rep. and not noticed until the next day. The filing status should have been married filing separately and it was marked single. We have made several attempts to have it corrected by a local JH tax office.

The main office # provided has a full mailbox and unable to leave a message or speak with anyone, You are invited to contact the phone # (937)716-1726 as it was truly an unprofessional message for callers to hear. Main St, Clayton OH location, the rep never showed up for the appt.

My biggest concern was that I was able to look through the large window and in full view was a box full of files on the floor. I hope that these did not contain client personal information. It would not fair well if this information was stolen !
