I purchased an electric mattress pad (approximate date) on January 8th, and on January 11th, I received notification by email that my package had been delivered. I have no idea where the package was delivered, but it was not to me. J. C.

Penney has not refunded my money despite the fact that I filed the police report they asked me to file (New Haven Police Report Number 24-002-490). The order number was 20240064144201459. I did not receive the package; my account was never credited back for the $166 I was billed, and despite trying to dispute the charge, I was denied the dispute because UPS dropped the package at some address or an apartment other than mine.

I purchased Fieldcrest cotton queen blanket and queen sheet set! The sheet set suppose to be cotton/ polyester blend, wrinkle free! Lie! Probably made in China!

Fieldcrest cotton blanket queen is so huge can not tuck it in! Cotton is strange material does not feel like cotton, not soft but stiff!

Went to the JCpenny salon in Pleasanton ,CA for hair color + express haircut. My cost should have been $80+$45 based on the stylist assign to me.

Additionally, i had a 2% JCpenny salon coupon with a designer /senior designer. At the end, my bill was $175 and the coupon was denied with multiple excuses and claiming the stylist was a Master which i don’t see on her bio on jcpenny’s site.

Other stylists clearly mention that they are Masters. So that cost me $25 worth of code discount. The. the stylist adds $40 for long hair ($20 twice) and then she tells me tips are excluded, so here goes another $20.

I called customer service and reached the Carribean. I wanted to return some items that did not fit , which resulted in an argument with the customer service rep. 00 to send the items back. I asked for her supervisor which angered her.

She then told me that in order to get to a supervisor I had to give her the email and she would transfer me. I did that. She then began to antagonize me and said , I need to know why you want to speak to a supervisor, I told her to file a complaint on her.

She continued to argue with me endlessly, to the point where I had to call on another phone to get to a supervisor because she would not stop. She then told me to call back if I wanted a supervisor and she would not transfer me no matter what I did.

Worst experience ever! I was diagnosed in 2021 was having a double mastectomy so we decided to purchase an adjustable mattress and frame. This was two years ago and it started sinking in. I can’t sleep at night. I have back issues ,My breasts are hurting because I keep sinking in.

Nut shell: As a customer, I made TOO many payments within a month, so they put a HOLD on my payments made, and I am out the money at the bank and have no access to the funds thru the credit card. Nice.

I made a payment on my J.C.Penney MasterCard last week. The payment did NOT post thru my account so I made another payment over the weekend, which also did not post to my account. I am a ( 71 years) old senior citizen and grandmother. On May 29 2023 we were scheduled to have portraits of my 3 year old grandson made at the Willowbrook Mall store. Upon prompt arrival the photographer was very disrespectful and rude .

We were told to get dressed in fifteen minutes because there were other customers that needed to be waited on. While other customers were present I was told that' if I was not Old she would call security and have them remove me.

We were constantly being harassed to hurry up. I feel that this is an act of discrimination . This employee should be fired.

I opened a JCP credit card yesterday. My store experience ended with long lines and not receiving 2 of my items purchased into my bag. Well these thing happen so I called and had them sit the items aside for me to pick up today. k. success. racking up my spending.

Long story short I had to call credit because my order, using temporary card, can not be used online. I was told I had to talk with a "online order agent" to place my order so they can enter the temporary card information.

I was there yesterday shopping for dresses with my daughter for her upcoming wedding. We both had a few items to try on. My daughter had 6 and I had 10. I went to JC Penney on 4485 S Grand Canyon Dr. Store#2848 on March 8, 2023. I already put a complaint in with a person at corporate office and he said he would have the manager get in touch with me and no one ever did. We are long time customers at JC Penney. We have old fashioned flip phones and we could not pull up the 25 percent coupon . The other cashiers always made an exception for us and gave us the extra discount as a courtesy and good customer service. Cashier number 0133 was very rude and did not give us any options for getting the discount. The man at the corporate office said she should have given us options or call the manager, but instead she was very rude. I would like for a manager or someone to contact me.

Today I went to the JCP store at the Westfarm mail and a sign at the stocking section says bye one get one free. I took a pic and went to cash out but they rang for full price and the manager Jena was called.

She went and took the sign and said a customer must have placed it there and said she will not honor that sign price and walked away. I tried to tell her there are cameras all over the store to look if that was the case but she just walked away from the register.

As a manager, her customer service behavior was very poor and unprofessional.

The manager, Wanda, in the Rockaway Town Square Mall, Rockaway, NJ, was very unprofessional and rude to me when I returned 4 Prescott EMB curtains/panels in exchange for a different color. She accused me of purchasing two of them in a different store than JCPenney even though I insisted that I bought them there.

She checked my buying history and couldn't find them from the store or online. She finally found them. But as she looked at the history she tapped on the monitor screen and showed the cashier in a mocking way that I was not correct.

I have family visiting out of town that were shopping at JCPenny's Sioux City, IA location this afternoon Nov. 25. My pregnant daughter-in-law was feeling sick and was sitting/leaning on an empty table. A 50ish aged female clerk angrily told her to get up she couldn't sit there.

My daughter-in-law told her she was pregnant and didn't feel well. When asked if there was a chair or somewhere she could sit, the clerk rudely told her no, go in the mall. Then as my family was leaving, the clerk was standing by the entrance and made a point of rudely telling my daughter-in-law that "if she was tired she should have stayed home," loud enough so everyone nearby could hear. I purchased a mattress in store Nov 13. 99. I said ok. I get an email from some warranty company thanking me. I called Nov 15th spoke to several employees and Gerald said it would be taken off my account.

Next day ups delivered a cheap thin Terry cloth mattress cover. Nov 23rd I got my bill with the charge. I called Joseph today and asked could I return it to the store to get it removed. He said no I had to mail it at my expense to an address he had to give me.

I worked at JC Penny for 2 weeks in Spartanburg. I wasn't given any proper instructions about the job itself. I worked for 2 weeks and no one told me that there pay schedule is biweekly. I was supposed to be working part time but i was working full time hours with only a 15 minute break..

For the first time in a while i shopped @ JCPenney's in Killeen Tx. I could not believe that this store has absolutely no carts, or baskets to help the customer carry the items.

Since the items I purchased were large bedding I had to make several trips to the cashier. At one point I was so frustrated I kicked a large king size Bedding set by foot to get it to cashier.

It is unbelievable that a store such as this this has such stupid rules, it seems that the management set this rules in place because of thefts in the Temple Tx store. I ordered some shirts for pickup at jcpenney and I decided to cancel the order. I called the people up and they said that my order was canceled and that I should be receiving my refund soon. That was October 6, 2022.

I still have not received my refund and it is October 14, 2022. I called the jcpenney location and they said to call my bank to see what the problem is. I called my bank and they said to call the place where I made the purchase.

I went to one of your salons. I showed a picture and the result was far from what I wanted. I left with purple and white hair that was falling out in clumps. After 8+ hours in the salon with the stylist over two days because she couldn’t finish the day of my appointment, listening to her complaining about how much hair I have, then getting calls after I left about how it’s not a big deal that my hair is ruined.

Now I have to go to another salon missing a day of work to try to salvage the hair I have left on my head. This is a big deal, and I am traumatized.

Long lines with only 1 or 2 cashiers its unacceptable and just not considerate to you customers, how can you continue to provide this type of service. My family and I went shopping in JCPENNEY in Longview Tx on 5/14/22.

First of all, it was nearly 90 degrees outside and felt like 100 degrees inside which made it very uncomfortable to even shop. After shopping we experienced the rudest cashier ever. Her name was Mary and she had the worst attitude and acted as if us making a purchase caused her an inconvenience.

I went to make a return to JC Penney's in Manchester Ct. with a receipt for an online jewelry purchase. I feel that they profiled me and treated me like I was a thief, between the questioning on why I'm returning and why I bought so much.

Frankly the necklaces were so thin ( also received each necklace with no tags in the mail) and I bought a larger quantity as they were a good price and though they'd be good gifts. I bought a Beautyrest air mattress made by Simmons. It has panels where the air goes from one panel to the other. It has a 3-year warranty. After four months the air goes only to the first two panels and the other side is deflated.

JCPenney gave me the manufactuers number. I called and they immediately gave me another number to complain to that did not answer. I tried Beautyrest then Simmons. Both just hung up on me. I feel that it is JCPenney's obligation to use reputable companies that respond to complaints.

There is no one else to call. JCPenney wiped their hands of me.

I do a lot of online orders through JCPENNEY. In the past you would not get charged until you pick the item up or it shipped to your house. They now have gotten in the practice as soon as you place the order your credit card is charged.

I have had two situations one as recently as 12/8/21 where I placed a order for 6 items, 4 had arrived, but I was charged for all 6. The store lost the rest of the order. I am very dissatisfied in the way the immediately charge your card without you actually getting the items.

Then it turns out to be a nightmare trying to get someone to rectify the situation and credit me. This would be like going to the gas station and your credit card it charged for $50 but the gas pump is empty.

God awful customer service from the call center. I placed an order on 11/24/2021 and made sure my billing and shipping info was correct, in fact my account settings even list my current address. I however also had an old address from over 10 years ago on my account.

That is where the order was sent to. Granted it was sent in 2 days, which was great. But there was no attempt from the customer service rep to assist me, she cold/blind transferred me to Rosalyn, a senior member rep, who disconnected the call when I replied "yes" when she asked if there was anything else that she can help me with.

Worst customer service ever! The company uses the worst delivery service as well. I placed an order and it was first delayed for several days. Then the Ontrac tracking indicated it was delivered. But I never received my order. I contacted JCPenney customer service by phone and the representative stated that he did see there was an issue with delivery and would refund my order.

After a week, I never received a refund to my card. When I emailed customer service for a follow up, they said there isn’t going to be a refund and I need to file a police report because of the order dollar amount.

So I was at JCP Golfmill yesterday, i asked for help. I had asked a gal in a department (not going to say which one as I don't want anyone in trouble). I had a picture of the item I was looking for are your store.

I stopped her and she said " I don't want to see it I don't care" and walked away. You wonder why your store isn't doing well. Hmm with associate's like her it's a wonder you're still open. I have never been treated so bad I'm a store in my life.

Even if you are having a bad day you don't treat a customer like crap!
