Our dealership in Monticello, AR never seems to have the parts we need when we need them. My husband & I end up having to drive almost 2 hrs one way to the wonderful dealership in Camden, AR where we always get whatevee part we need whenever we need it.

Why can’t Monticello get with the program after 20 years? Many thanks, God Bless, & GO HAWGS!

Poor service from Dealer doing business as Middletown Tractor - Buckhannon WV. My new tractor failed to start after mowing, not having a meter at the house and tractor being under warranty, I thought it was best to leave it alone.

Full disclosure, I bypassed the reverse switch , in a professional manner making absolutely certain no harm would be caused by my work. Please note that I am a Licensed Electrician and I have held a Master Refrigeration Technicians License since 1985, so I know what I am doing !

When the service manager called to inform the tractor was ready to come back to me, I naturally asked what the fault was, he informed that a 20 amp fuse was blown, asserting that the minor modification I made was at at fault. Now , like I stated earlier , I have been around electrical…

my 5 year old deere D1100 was serviced this year as it has been every year since purchase. a week after, it began smoking profusely. i had the local deere dealer pick it up. after over a week, they had not even looked at it to assess what might be wrong, let alone repair it.

finally they looked and told me it was likely a head gasket with an estimate of $570 to repair , after my $275 service charge already this year. i owned an inexpensive Gilson tractor for 23 years with NO problems in that time then owned a simplicity express for 15 years with NO problem.

i bought the supposed best tractor out there in deere, have spent $275 a year to have it serviced by deere and now this. thoroughly disgusted with having a problem like this snd still no tractor back. and have spent $150 so far…

We purchased a brand new X300 select and did so because of the quality associated with the John Deere. Everything was fine until late in our first season. A part that opens and closes the mulch chute broke. 00). Repaired this myself.

Next season both front wheels fell apart. I found that apparently the hubs are merely “pressed” into the rim. 00 for replacement rim. Took the wheels off an old Poulan Pro I had for many years(never had a wheel issue with this machine).

I am very disappointed with the John Deere quality that I felt so confident I had purchased. What has happened with this legendary manufacturer of outstanding equipment? Too sad.

Exchange a E150 for E180 in May 2020. The E180 had a few factory problems.

Also with the problems the belt broke then it broke again just recently. I emailed to manager and salesman, never responded. Then I called service dept.. Lady I spoke to needs customer service classes. I called again and requested service dept.

to busy he said, but they were not to busy for the sale.... This is not customer service. I had to call on a professional landscaper to do my 4 acres at appx $90 a cut ($45 per/hr). Every week... and service... I will…

I purchased a john deere E120 lawn tractor last year. It has the 30 second oil change. I changed the oil at 50 hours. When backing the tractor out the new filter popped off. I pulled the tractor back in the garage and ordered a second John Deere 30 second oil change.

After installing it I went to cut my grass. It lasted about 150 feet and the engine seized. I sent the tractor in for repair. I kept calling their repair center because it was going on 3 weeks. I kept getting told that the factory had not gotten back to them.

I called John Deere corporate to try to get an explanation after sitting on the phone for 45 minutes I hung up and and called the repair center again. I was told John Deere just got back to them and that they would not honor the repair.

I purchased a new Cub Cadet…

I bought a used 4830 sprayer from RDO Pasco, Wa Jan 2019. I had to pay for the guidance system since the previous owner kept the system, the cost for the system was more than $10,000 added to the purchase.

The system was obsolete by Jan 21! This is not fair and I do expect to be compensated for the added cost to make my system useable. I understand it is the antenna portion of the system that JD made obsolete.

Also, due to chip shortages antennas are on back order. What is a lower economical based dry land wheat farmer supposed to do to stay in business with situations like this? Phone number: 253-951-7225

I recently visited the John Deere dealer in New Alexandria, PA by my house. I did my research and the S100 or S110 was the perfect fit for my little 0.81 acre lawn with three small slopes, but the dealer there said that the S100 is way to small and with the little slopes, I would need a X series 4X4 tractor. I have been a John Deere owner since i got my first pedal tractor at 3 years old because our family were farmers in Freedom,PA for over 70 years and only owned John Deere.

The dealer told me when they deliver my S100 or S110 and see the little hill in my yard they would cancel any warranty the tractor has. After this happened I called another dealer and the same thing. So i called cub cadet. They had me send pictures of my property and said the smallest XT1 42" will work just fine.…

Why was I charged a couple hundred dollars for a warranty checkup. What kind of warranty is John Deere putting out. Took it in for it's first warranty visit at 100hrs and they charged me saying it was for oil and filter change.

I need to know if this is what to expect of John Deere.

I have had to put 4 deck belts on my E100 in 2 years. I am not understanding the poor quality of your parts where I cannot mow my property because something is always happening. This is the worst tractor I have owned and should of went with my experience of a Toro.

We have to buy yet another belt for 40 and then pay someone to put it on. Is this truly how you company makes their money. Very disappointed and as soon, as I can I will be getting a different mower.

Last year we had an engine rebuilt on a new XUV835R Gator. After rebuild the engine continued to leak oil. The dealer told us this. This past February the engine seized up due to oil loss. The dealer agreed. I still had to pay approx 7200.00 to get the machine back while this should have been covered under warranty. After speaking with the dealer several times we have received no word in approx 7 weeks. Can't even get a return email or call.

Thank you, David

I purchased a John Deere riding mower, and started having issues with the deck belt staying on. It would mess up belts and belt would always come off the pulleys. One day it would not start so I returned it for repair.

It was still under warranty and John Deere dealership Sunshine started working to repair mower. It was at service shop for several days into a couple weeks. They changed the engine and worked on the deck. They called and said it was repaired and ready to go.

Then called back and said it wasn't running right, Called me later and said it was fixed. I picked mower up and when i started cutting my grass it worked for 10 minutes and belt came off. I returned mower again for repairs.

Sunshine called and said it was fixed, i got it home and started cutting and it broke again.…

We are in the midst of soybean harvest in Tennessee, in the jackson area The ac on our combine isn’t working and after having called the local supplier they told us they would come in 3 days. After 3 days waiting they told us we’d have to wait another 5 days for a service engineer to come and fix it.

Now we have been working in 90 F degrees temperatures and this morning my husband has gone and started up his combine to work in this heat because, you tell me, which farmer doesn’t want to get his crop in when the weather is good. Now you can sell the most wonderful equipment in the world but if your afterservice is this poorly, what is a farmer to do.

Today I am deadly afraid for my husband in that hot combine and I can’t stop him. He is under a lot of pressure. We live in the Jackson area…

So I would like to let you know that I am extremely disappointed in my John Deere X350 mower. I purchased this thinking that it would be the best of the best as was my mothers X300 that she has had for almost 20 years.

That mower is leaps and bounds better than this piece of junk that I paid $3500 for. The first week of owning it my wife hit a tree, that we have hit hundreds of times before with our Husqvarna riding mower with no damage, and our new X350 bent the cheaply built 48" inch deck.

I took it back to the dealer and they told me I needed to purchase another deck for another $1000. Seriously!!! So I did that and since then the mower has NEVER cut right. It cuts too low on the right on level ground and too low on the left going across my slope in the front yard.

I have to adjust…

Purchased new x350 and had to get a tire replaced before I used it. Then with less than 20 hrs on it the mower belt just came apart it felt like the whole tractor was coming apart and I shut it off and looked, the belt had chunks that split and broke off the belt for no apparent reason other than poor manufacturing. What's next?

These parts are killing me already and I just bought it. I bought the X350 because I thought the quality was there and it definitely comes with a price and keeps going?

We purchased our zero-turn John Deere riding mower for the reliability eluded to in the "Nothing runs like a Deere" ad campaign.

Well, our Deere doesn't run and so far John Deere doesn't really care about the problem enough to fix it.

We purchased our mower from Lowe's in March of 2018 and added 4 years of warranty, just in case it was needed. The mower ran fine for that season and actually started out running decently in 2019 too until on June 19 it started and died after cutting just 20 feet of grass. It simply would not start after that. It was getting spark to the plugs but not getting gas. A quick search online showed that the electric cutout as the likely culprit.

A call to Lowe's for warranty service quickly put me in the line for service from the local authorized John Deere…

I Have nothing but bad experiences with the Meade in Abingdon Va. I bought my mowers 2 years ago and I have nothing but issues out of them and my z930m as been in shop more than I have used for the same reason over and over.

most recently The frame broke and they were nothing short of hateful as usual. told me mower would be ready in one day guaranteed and then call me at 4:30 on Wednesday and say it will not be ready until Friday.

I told them I had to have it for my customers on Thursday and rudely said they would stay and just put frame on and would leave it outside the locked gate when finished. didn't do anything to adjust deck NOTHING.

Was suppose to fix other issues under warranty and didn't even order the parts and took mower back yesterday and now they tell me they didn't order…

Bearing failure in the shaft that connects the pulley to the lawn mower blade. I was told this was due to no grease and they were right. The reason why the grease is not getting to the bearings is the seals are still in the bearings.

Originally from the factory there was no zerk fitting on the housing. Subsequential units I have bought are provided with a zerk fitting. Obviously this does no good if the seals are not removed from the bearing. The failures have been from no fault of my own the fault is yours.

And also the four Breakaway bolts that hold it to the mower deck if it was not for that I could replace the bearings myself and reuse the housing clearly another design flaw. Or could it be this is intentional so I will have to buy more of these very expensive units? Howard Templeton…

Purchased a x390 lawn tractor a year or so ago from local dealer. Was looking for information on an adjustment I needed to make on the tractor and could not find my owners manual. Evidently it got thrown away with some other magazines.

Ordered a new one from local dealer, he said it would be about ten days for it to get to him. The dealer called and said he had received manual so I could pick it up. 00. 00 for a replacement manual.

Very disappointed in John Deere for charging such a ridiculous price for basically a book that helps me operate a piece of equipment safely that is a necessity in my book. I wouldn't have said anything if my stupidity cost me 25 but 52 I think is unreasonable.

NOT happy with John Deere at the moment!

Dear Samuel Allen, CEO and Customer Service Complaint Department:

My name is Will Chavez and I have been a loyal John Deere customer for over 25 years and I have continually upgraded my mowers over the years. Presently I have a John Deere Zero Turn 54 in Z655 riding mower which I purchased in 2012 but over the last four years have consistently had issues with the mower and it has been in for repair 4/2016,9/2017 and 5/2018 at JD Equipment (now Ag-Pro Hilliard, Ohio) but the belt keeps breaking.

This past weekend I pulled the deck out and was going to replace the belt again but I could plainly see why the belts keeps wearing and breaking. I am not a John Deere technician but I could clearly see that the rear pulley was not level with the other pulleys and it was welded in an…

Yesterday I took my Stihl leaf blower in for repair because it wouldn’t start, service tech took one look at it & said it was flooded, he took it into the back & said all it needed was to be blowed out. I then took it home, used it one time, turned it off & again it wouldn’t start.

Took it back to the service tech (Tom), again he says “it’s flooded again, apparently you don’t know how to start it”. I told him I’d been using this blower for almost 3 years & I knew how to start it.

At this point he started with an attitude in front of customers in the store & co-workers. I was very shocked at his response to me! I told him if it was flooding, there had to be a reason & I wanted to find out the reason & have it fixed.

my 5075e has had one problem after the other since I bought it new. recently I had trouble with engine running rough. I was told the fuel lines were cracked and it was sucking air. 6 hours labor. this tractor less than 3 years old, kept in shed except for use, and has only 300 hours.

you cant convince me that the fuel lines would rot and crack in that time. after that didn't fix the problem they decided to send the fuel injector in for inspection. they haven't got that back yet. injector pump was rebuilt last july, supposedly due to fuel contamination.

this was $1200 to rebuild as they said it wasn't covered by warranty. I bought a john deere because it was supposed to be high quality and dependable. this my third jd tractor and my second commercial zero turn mower. I am very displeased.…

I have recently purchased a 950m zero turn with a 3 bag system. a beautiful mower all around.

However, the owners manual for the 3 bag system was not sent when delivered. so I called the dealer of course and its been a month or more now and still now Manual. I have texted again tonight requesting this simple manual.

Sent riding John Deere mower in for service February 21, 2019 to local dealer, Lindsey Equipment, Ashley PA, After Lindsey Equipment kept the riding mower for 6 weeks, we called on the status of the mower. It was delivered back 4 days later and it appeared no yearly service had been done.

It was returned with a cracked hood, flat tire, which I had stated to Lindsey to pleases fix the tire, the deck still had mud, grass, and debris clinging to it. It was not cleaned, which is part of the service.

When attempting to start for the first use of the season, it took multiple attempts to start the mower. After getting it started and proceeding to mow the grass, the mower would suddenly stop. After multiple times trying to get the mower to start again, it ran for a few minutes and stalled again.…

Nothing runs like a DEERE until it don't. Read to the end because the list is LONG. 9560RT Transmission, next head gasket oil in water, next soot in water flush and repair EGR, next fan shaft sheaves and timing cover.

9560RT Head gasket oil in water, next soot in water flush and repair EGR, next fan sheaves. 9520RT soot in water flush and repair EGR. Just come up with transmission Fix if Fail gotta love that. 8360RT IVT rebuild 680 head gasket oil in water, next hydro, next soot in water to be fixed this summer.

Believe me this is the short list. Tell me why I keep killing my self with this stuff. Every year we inspect at dealer and every year we have problems. A lot are covered under power guard but no one pays for the rental machines that I use to finish the job we started.

I welcome…

Customer service I currently own a 450 J dozer, a 5085E utility tractor and various John Deere equipment. Owning a Polaris 6x6 I had intentions to purchase a 4x4 Polaris comparable to XUV835 ,not as nice a cab, but a larger engine and priced a few thousand dollars less than XUV835 No question ,a deciding factor in not buying the Polaris was being a satisfied John Deere customer. Issues with prolonged delay in front wheel engagement renders the vehicle impractical for muddy hills. I have not been satisfied with the response of your dealership James River Equipment in Amherst, Va. . Your involvement in resolving this problem would be appreciated.

We run a ranch and have always used jd equipment. We have bailers ,Swathers and tractors. We pay big money for quality American equipment . Recently I broke a hub on our 7510 tractor, so I call the dealership with part numbers for the hub and wheel studs.

And would you believe that the only hub available for our American made green tractor is in Germany? I’m wishing we still had our good old Belarus tractors, then I wouldn’t feel so bad about not finding parts here in the USA.

But no I have to be broke down over a week and pay out the ass for extra shipping to get a part for my American( supposedly) made tractor. Shouldn’t the Germans have to wait for parts and not me?

I called the complaint department and was very civil, i was told that it just happens that way. So wrong, not happy…
