I sent my wedding set in for a platinum prong repair and a simple soldier of the inside of the bands to keep them from separating/unlocking. When I returned to pick my rings up, the setting was turned from a Kite setting to a Princess setting and my wedding band, that had specific instructions on how it was to go onto the ring (it would only fit snug on one side of the ring in a puzzle piece type of fit) that the stores employee had written and

also provided a picture, was on the wrong side of the engagement ring and because it didn’t sit flush in the bottom they had a glob of gold soldier on the outside bottom bands and a gap on one side off the band where they are supposed to sit flush against one another.

I told the CSR that my setting was removed and that the band was attached…

Has Kay's jewelry always lied on people to get them in trouble or arrested for doing an electronic funds transfer with a check. Because they lied on my son and he is incarcerated because they said the account was closed but the money came out a receipt was generated to his email and then they said they were refunding him his money back, why you going to refund someone account back when you already have the money.

They got some explaining to do. You can't withdraw money out of a closed account and you sure can't refund one. LIARS.... This is not the end..

Store in green hill mall in Nashville Tn.My husband and i was very uncomfortable with the female who waited on us we was looking at her breast and bra only thing we didn't see was her nipples. So you need to address your dress code at that store is she there to sale jewelry or exploit her breast to the whole world see.

Your employees at my local store are rude and they do not know your return policies! They never answer the telephone,too busy sunbathing outside! I bought a pair or doing 20 k gold earrings. They told me I could not return them because it was past the 30 days return policy. NO it was not.

I went in the last day and they still would not return them. Their system wouldn’t allow it. They didn’t try! Ok so I have bought several item lately BUT I will not buy one thing from you company ever again.

Cheap ugly jewelry and terrible customer service at the store. I would retirn every piece I bought if I could have! Really your jewelry looks cheesy! I’m going to spread the word to family and friends. I hope you employees get a nice tan and you go out of business! com 740-457-6908

My husband and I financed our wedding rings through Kay's for 18 months zero percent interest. I noticed that our minimum balance has been decreasing every month. I was looking at our statement and we are not close to paying them off and our 18 months is drawing near.

I did the math and saw the big number we will have to pay monthly as of now before we have to pay interest. If we do not have it paid off by the end of the 18 months, we will have to pay 30% interest.

I was not told by anyone that our monthly payments were not set up to be paid off in full by the 18 months. This is the first time with a credit card I have had this experience with a zero percent interest card where they don't set up your payments to where it's paid off at the end of the zero percent interest period.

On Friday August 25, 2023 @ 11:00am, my wife and I visited the Columbia Center Mall Key Jewelry Store – Kennewick, Washington and once again had the very worst experience, the worst degrading unprofessional experience with “Jo” which I guess is short for JoAnne Anderson – or that store location Manager. We later from “Jo” found out she was the Store Manager because later into our visit she made it real clear “I am the Store Manager”. Wasn’t impressive, especially being a Manager in the Nuclear industry for 30+ years.

I opened an account no question No details I purchased a ring and a few other items within a year. I was paying $100 a month than this month I received a $764 interest charge unbeknownst to myself this was a promotional card and needed to be paid off within a year.

If I had known or been informed I certainly would of payed off. I am furious to Say the least this is horrible Business practices the sales people are so desperate they will do anything to make a sale by defrauding the customer

Me and my husband picked out my engagement ring back in October. He proposed in November and I didn’t even have my ring on for a full week and a diamond fell out. Took it back and got it fixed.

But the problem is, we have now lost NINE diamonds in total out of my ring in less than a year. Two weeks before we were to get married I lost another diamond. We almost didn’t get it back in time for the wedding.

We did the day before and it was fine until a week later and lost another one. So from November until now which is 9 months I have lost nine diamonds out of my engagement ring. Kay’s says that they don’t understand why this is happening.

They have fixed it every time but honestly it shouldn’t have been a problem after the FIRST TIME. Completely displeased with the outcome.

I purchased a ring and also purchased the lifetime warranty if any damages occur. My wife takes it to get get clean before the required months and their employee tells her that there is no documentation of her get the ring checked out.

So you tell me that that no one is trained to pull up thr exact ring of purchase and document everytime the ring is inspected!!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

My fiancé bought me a very expensive bracelet from Kay Jewelers in Cookeville, TN. I had worn it a week and it broke, not at the clasp but in the middle of the bracelet. We took it back to Kays and they sent it off for over 2 weeks.

We had to call to check to see if it had been sent back to the jewelry store and it had been. We went yesterday to pick it up and it was still broken in the same place, it had just been barely put together and fell apart again once I tried to put it on.

I am going to have to wait another week to get it back. I feel like we have bought defective jewelry and their attempt to make it right is defective also. The people in the actual jewelry store have been very nice and helpful, this is not a complaint to them in any way; I want to make that clear.

Went in to return earrings bought as a gift and was told they couldn’t give me cash back (which is way I paid) because they had no cash in drawer until they made a sale. I then asked to exchanged them ($20 difference back) and was told they couldn’t do sell either.

Soooo if I want to make a new purchase they can’t make change. Sounds like bad business to me

I have a ring that I purchased for a present before COVID. It was called a mother's ring, but it says DAD and has 2 birthstones in it. I purchased the plan where I had to bring it in every 6 months to have the setting checked and they would clean the ring When COVID hit, of course everything shut down I wasn't able to bring the ring in on time for the scheduled maintenance.

When everything opened back up I took the ring to the Kay Jewelers in Cherry Hill Mall, NJ I was told that even though everything was open, they still weren't doing any maintenance and that I would receive an email letting me know when I would be able to resume bringing it in for maintenance that was in 2021 well, here we are 2023, and

I just got engaged in January my boyfriend spent $5,000 -$6,000 on a ring which i loved.

However after 3 months my settling cracked in half on top. they said at the store theyll fix it. My ring was only 3 months old I believed i should get a new setting afraid that’ll happen again. But they sent it out anyway for 3 weeks to be fixed.

They called my boyfriend after three weeks saying its ready He goes pick it up opens box and its not fixed. So now they want send it back out. This supposed to be a special time in my life but has been so miserable for me with all of this.

It has caused my boyfriend and I unnecessary arguments and so on. I really am hoping someone can resolve this problem for us. This ring was not cheap and we were treated like we were being annoying.

I brought a diamond bracelet for my wife for Valentines day and I really didn't know if it could fit her ,so the store clerk told me that if it didn't fit to just bring it back in and she would send it out to get the links took out so it could fit.

She never stated that it was a fee for doing this service and stated that she would take care of it. Now if I would have known it was a fee I would have brought my wife in to make sure it was the right Size.

I'm pretty sure that the clerk told me this and said so just to get the sale. Trickery should not be used just to make a sale. I want my bracelet fitted for the right size without having to pay $60 cause I went on the word of your sales lady.

Kay Jewelers' life time watch battery replacement deal is a SHAM!!!

I paid for a life-time watch battery replacement contract with Kay Jewelers at Kay Jewelers retail outlet at its shop at Lloyd Center, Portland OR. At the time, Kay Jewelers performed watch battery replacement at its shops. Yesterday (March 1, 2023), I took my watch to Kay Jewelers at Clackamas Town Center, Portland OR for battery replacement, the saleslady told me Kay Jewelers NO LONGER perform watch battery service at its shops, instead I must leave the watch for it to be sent to its workshop and the turn-around time was THREE MONTHS. This is absolutely a scam, a bait and switch tactic. The three month turn-around time would deter most customers from using this life time replacement contract.

Bought jewlery. The same piece literally broke 2 times in 3 weeks. Offered for a replacement item. I bought a different bracelet. It just broke today. Only had for 2 weeks. I don’t know why everything seems so cheap and brakes.

The lady attempting to assist us with a return had zero customer service skills. She insinuated that I was lying more than once. I have made multiple purchases at kay jewelers throughout out my life time but after my experience with Jordan at town east in Wichita KS I will never make another purchase from any kay jewelry any where. Super disrespectful!

Found item on sale. When I tried to buy was told sale ended 2 weeks ago even though the sign was still in the display case with the item. Mgr. Told me just look for something else. As a customer for along time thats unacceptable.

My husband and I went into the outlet store in Lutz Fl on the Dec 3rd because he wanted to buy me a better engagement ring. We made a choice of a sapphire but changed our minds and returned the following morning.

My ring went out to be sized and engraved the next day. The following Monday 12/12 I get a call my ring came in but to call because there was a problem. I called the next day to find it was sent back out because wrong date engraved.

As a long time customer, I feel like I have been rob. My husband and I have been customers since 2000, when we made our first purchase by buying our wedding band. December 2021 my husband purchase 3 tennis bracelets for Christmas.

On Christmas Day when I opened my gift, my brand new 1 carat tennis bracelets was missing a diamond. Went back to the store with him to make an exchange, they did not have the one he purchase originally we decide to get a different one and get a more expensive one, A 2 carats white gold bracelet.

I purchased a Neil Lane engagement/wedding ring set almost exactly three years ago. The large diamond fell out but was recovered off the floor. No problem at this point I just returned the set to the Piqua, Ohio store where I purchased the set.

They examined the ring set and told me no problem the diamond will just be reset. They did a through examination of the set and presented me with a receipt stating the set was blemish free. 00. I then asked for them to just reset the diamond and they refused.

I put the Le Vian Blue Topaz Necklace 1/4 ct diamond tw 14k Strawberry Gold 18" chain (item# 376715001) (the image is attached) in a cart on Tuesday, December 6 2022. 99. It let me include a 10% off as well so the total with tax came to $860 and some cents.

I went in to the Kay Jewelers inside of Deptford Mall. On 11/05/22 to buy wedding bands since we didn’t like the ones we have. and the Asian guy there was so rude just bcuz we was taking our time shopping , he told us that we should just go to Walmart and get out rings there.

I was told my wedding band will arrive at the Schaumburg location where I ordered y wedding band well called around for 2 days and no one knows where my ring is. I finally call upset to hear I have to wait another 2 weeks to see if they can locate my ring? Really?

I purchased an item with cash and tried to return it next day. 00 cash refund. It's now been 3 days and apparently they still have not made enough money to do my simple, inexpensive return. If the Kay jeweler company can't afford to pay cash refunds then YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE CASH AS A PAYMENT OPTION!

I had my bracelet for almost a year and it's broken twice. More Specifically it broke within 2 weeks of coming back from the repair shop. I didn't purchase the warranty because it doesn't really have a value until things go wrong and each piece has its own defects.

After Spending thousands if dollars with Kay's I think I'm over it. I lost 1 $900 earring with a screw back. I'm done throwing money down the drain since I have 5/6 earrings and things happen that I can't buy 1 replacement or the warranty won't replace it at a discounted rate. Somethings better than nothing!

You should be able to purchase a warranty anytime during the life of a piece that is still in your possession

My wife just received her two wedding bands and they are sized wrong. One is 4 3/4 one is 5 1/4 they're supposed to be a 5. They are cut so that the rings look like trash. I could've done a better job myself.

We spent over $3,000 on these rings. I've spent close to 10,000 in the last YEAR at Kay's and am extremely disappointed. The stores customer service is atrocious at crossgates mall Albany NY. I plan to encourage everyone I know NOT to go to Kay's based on my last few experiences.

I am beyond frustrated with the service department at Kay Jewelers. We have purchased an engagement ring and two custom bands to go with it (approximately $6,500 total) from your store. In our experience with Kay, we have had several frustrating experiences.

When I ordered my 2nd custom band, I received an email including pictures of my supposed wedding set asking me to approve the design; however, you sent the wrong set. I knew that the engagement ring pictured was NOT mine, and I had to argue it and panic in fear that you had lost my rings.

I purchased a bracelet on 6/18/22. I reconsidered my purchase and called and spoke to an associate at Kay’s store 4759 and asked if they would accept a return on this item on 7/20/2022. At that time I was informed that it had been over 30 days and that there was nothing that they could do to help me.

Kay Jewelers is heartless. On 4/23/22 my then fiancé and I went to Kay Jewelers in the Westfarms mall in CT to do ring shopping. We found a wedding and engagement ring set she loved, I bought it, and they were sent out for sizing.

Two weeks later I went to pick them up and things seemed to be fine. Shortly there after I learned my “fiancé” was cheating on me and leaving me for the other guy. I became suicidal and was put in the hospital on 5/25/22 to 6/8.

On 6/9 I went back to the store to return the rings because I didn’t want to look at the awful things and wanted to get back the money I wasted. I was told they would not return them no matter what my situation was because it had been more than 30 days.

I have made several purchases online at Kay Jewelers. Repeatedly I wasn't sent the things I ordered but received substitututions appearing of lesser value. One bracelet I ordered 3 different times and never got it. I received 2 men's bracelets that I have no use for.

The last order I sent for 4 items and received none of the items I ordered. I find this very disturbing and disappointing for a reputable jewelry store. It appears they are sending me the items they can't sell otherwise.

2 years ago I purchased a wedding ring and band. Due to covid we had to postpone the wedding a year. After we were married my wife realized that the wedding band was not the correct wedding band. We went to the store where we purchased the rings and were told that they would not exchange the wedding band that we would have to do a buy up.

The ring that was sold to me was what the sales person said went with the engagement rings. Now I have to pay double in order to get this fixed. I would not be exchanging the ring had your employees done the right thing in the first place.

Walked in on their phones no welcome. Told her I had a warranty she rolled her eyes when she seen my ring was broken. She then said I needed to be prepared to get a new ring. (Warranty has covered my ring for everything so that was bs) and she also was rude when I said my boyfriend picked it out.
