Walked in on their phones no welcome. Told her I had a warranty she rolled her eyes when she seen my ring was broken. She then said I needed to be prepared to get a new ring. (Warranty has covered my ring for everything so that was bs) and she also was rude when I said my boyfriend picked it out.

She thought it was weird when I said he can pick a new one out if need be. I barely wore my ring and she said “it’s obviously worn” like how does she know? Does she wear? No.

I purchased my wedding ring in 2004 in December 21/21, I took it in for resizing to be redipped and inspection. Prior to them sending it off they inspected. My receipt shows warranty no chipped diamonds and diamonds to be authentic.

A month or so rolls by I haven't heard anything I call the Visalia CA store and spoke with manager Laura. Who tells me the ring had a chipped diamond and needed to be repaired and goes on to tell me I didn't have warranty.

To which I argued I did she stated that the ring had not been taken in since 2019. I told her that was not true when I had taken it in they told me they did not need my receipt booklet they'll automatically update it also during Covid they told me I didn't have to take it in.

I had an account with them for almost 20 years with a $10,000 credit limit I recently had a payment that was late that I didn’t even know about for a few dollars and they charged me $35 and reduced my limit to $300 I called customer service and the lady even said it wasn’t even 30 days late!

I paid on time and paid my accounts off and have used that card for 20 years and the basically gave me the finger and said oh wel. Then when I told her to close the account she had the nerve to try and convince me to leave it open !

Really with a $300 limit. After 20 years of being a loyal customer. All I’m worth to you is $300 and oh they want to wave the $9 fee to pay my $6 I actually owe over the phone. Seriously. No.

don’t call me, don’t send me offers don’t send me anything except a letter…

Went in Tanger outlets location 2 different times today to buy wedding bands waited 20 mins both times and never got waited on infact the associates never ever greeted us or said they would be worth us shortly was ignored both times so we will buy our bands someplace else.

After only one year of purchasing an engagement ring I have now had to have the ring fixed for the second time because the diamond has fallen out again. My fiancee and I went back to Kay's jewelers in blackwood NJ the other day and felt very uncomfortable about the way we were treated.

We were pressure to try to get another ring for alot more money and made to feel like we had to decide at that very moment, the sales women did not want to help us with the diamond coming out for the second time all she wanted was to sell us a more experience ring. When we could not decide she became rude and rushing us and very dismissive.

We did pick another ring out of feeling pressured but not happy at all with the new ring. There was no apologies about the flaw in the original ring and the diamond…

On February 20th, 2022, my husband & I dropped off my 14k gold James Avery necklace at Kay Jewelers at 668 A Fairview Rd. Unit A, Simpsonville,SC 29680 for repair. The lady that waited on us was very kind & helpful.

She said they had to send it off to Jared’s in Greenville,SC since they do not do their own repairs. She said someone would call toward the beginning of the week to give me the repair estimate. Well, no one called.

I waited until the following Friday, the 25th, to receive a call, but one never came. So I began calling the store over & over & there was never an answer. I called 7 times & still no one answered.

So I then contacted Jared in a Greenville directly. He said he had no way of knowing anything about the repairs from Kay Jewelers but offered to call Kay to see if he…

We purchased my wedding set 4/30/2021. Since then we have had to send it off to be repaired 3 times already. They have told me there is nothing I can do but continue sending it off to have it fixed.

The center stone is loose everytime I’ve stopped in to have it cleaned, the band on the engagement ring has broken, and the last time they sent it back the band was crooked. For a $4400 set, we should not have to send it off every 3 months for repair!

And they don’t care at all. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else for jewelry.

I went to my Plattsburg store location today to purchase a piece of Jewelry, I went up to the door to enter the store and I got pointed at by one of the employees and instructed to go in another door in a very rude way. I went in the store to look at some Jewelry and got an attitude from the same employee.

I don’t know what her issue is but she needs to be talked to. I proceeded to look at jewelry with another employee and I was so upset that I ended up just leaving the store without purchasing anything. I have bought several pieces of jewelry from this company and I won’t ever go back in that store again.

Extremely disappointed, wasted my time

I purchased a kids necklace back in December of 2021 for my daughter. Since she is 9 years old, I also purchased a warranty with them. Two weeks later she broke the necklace. Not surprising since their necklaces for kids are extremely flimsy.

It almost feels as if they purposely make them that way knowing it will break. I just recently went back to the same exact location I purchased the necklace from to have it fixed. They have no record of the warranty I purchased they tell me.

And if I can bring the original receipt. They explain that some changes were made to the system and now they are having problems locating all warranties. Are you kidding me. So I in essence purchased something that will be absolutely useless to me.

Then they go on to explain if I can't find the warranty I have…

I have brought my ring in to be fixed 2 times since original purchase date of August 20,2021 and received date of August 28,2021. ” I have bought many pre owned rings in my day and the last one that I purchased was a 1carat from I bought from Zales 5 years ago which has NEVER had an issue ever!

Very disappointed in a place I thought very highly of. I’m not without earrings because Kay’s Emplyee lied to my friend and I about the warranty he paid a lot of money for. And every time we go to the store there’s never a manager it’s always they’ll be here tomorrow.

It really sucks to give a company i really liked a bad review over ear rings but I really liked them and we were lied to.

Bought earrings , decided to return two days later. Had used two separate credit cards. One of my cards the credit would not go through. It kept saying unauthorized. They went to another terminal and same thing happened. Called the bank right there and they said the card was valid and they had received no notice to put through a credit at all.

Verified the card was valid with the bank and used it to buy gas the same day.

First time in owning a credit card in 30 years that a business was not able to credit my card. It is coded so that one of their groups must manually input the card.. Find it kind of weird that this is January and I am sure they got returns from the holidays.

I recently had a issue with a promotion plan with 12 months no interest when I bought my ring in the store the sales representative told me as long as my account was paid in full by 1-2-22 that I would not accrue any finance charges my first payment was on 1-2-21, with that being said kay added a finance charge of $668 to my account on 12-6-21 wich is before when I was told in stores that my promotional plan would run out I called and

spoke with reps and supervisors with all attempts being denied by the supervisors boss, I'm not saying this is all their error I definitely could have read over the paper work better but I was trusting in what the sales rep had told me.

So store employees need to be better trained and customer service needs to be more understanding of complaint and trust…

Good afternoon, I went to the Kay Jewelers in Columbia Md the last weekend in November to have my ring properly fitted, after having a hard time locating my initial ring purchase , ( 15 min) The associate informed me that it would take 2 weeks to return. I called this afternoon at 12pm on 12/16/21 to follow up and I was informed by the store manager that my ring was "lost" in transit.

This time of year a lot of thefts occur during the holidays, so I'm unsure if I will ever receive my original ring. The store manager stated that I would have to accept a "replacement " ring until they can locate my ring, she also stated that if the ring is not located I will have to accept the replacement ring.

Received a ring as a gift. Wore it about 6 times and a sapphire fell out It was gone for several weeks. Finally came back. Wore it 4 times another stone came out and a prong broke off. Kay is refusing to fix.

Obviously they is a problem with the craftsmanship of the ring. This is not even 9 months old been worn about a 12 times and 2 stones have came out and something is wrong the prongs.

Lisa at the Sumter Mall store Sumter,SC treats her employees like crap, talks to them with no respect. She doesn't give them proper training because she's so uptight and petty. She doesn't need to be in the position that she's in.

She goes through employees like Carter takes liver pills. I've bought lots of jewelry from there, but after I pick up this order, I will go somewhere else as long as she is there.

Ring was sent UPS and I never received . Has been almost a month and all I get from Kay is the run around and no real answers. An investigation was opened by me for UPS and for Kay. Doing ther job.

Ultimately Kay has to talk to UPS. I am very dissapointed in Kay as a whole.

purchased a necklace during cyber Monday deals found the necklace 1000$ off and I have been looking for a new one so I decided to purchase the necklace and warranty for $1900. I purchased the necklace at 10pm and at 12am I recieve a message that they had canceled my order because of a inventory issue.

now firstly just because your out of stock doesn't mean to cancel my order, second off how can I purchase a item that's unavailable?

third of all they tell me since it was canceled at 12am I can no longer get the cyber Monday deal but they can offer me a 35% discount making me pay a extra $300 so now my order is $2200 instead of $1900 what a joke, now I know why I never did business with Kay jewelers, never again customer service wants you to see their point and

I purchased a diamond at store # 053 in October of 1988. I brought my ring in to be checked every 6 months as stated in the warranty. This summer I went to Kay's in Auburn, NY to have my ring checked.

They told me I needed the prongs repaired. At that time I asked about upgrading to a bigger diamond. I have the warranty, I have documented dates of my ring being checked every six months. I was informed that unless I had the original sales slip I could NOT do that.

I have the warranty which documents a "sales slip number" also the registration #. I'm furious!

I called customer service after the store gave me the number because I needed more help than they could give me. Loren in the store in the Columbia a mall was very helpful unlike Ben at the customer service number.

He was rude and condescending and NOT HELPFUL This is a busy season for you but I’m going to Go on social media and blast Kay jewelers. I know my situation I went in for was unique but that’s y I called the customer service number and got no help from Ben.

I asked him for a supervisor but he told me their was not one available. I promise you I’m not trying yo Mean but after I was treated that way today by customer service you don’t care at all snd I need to Make sure other customers don’t get involved in buying from you.

Kay Jewelers is a joke. They do not stand behind their jewelry and instead find every way to say no. They have the rudest staff in the store and the call center. My story is simple. I bought a diamond cross from Kay's in May, in November (less than 6 months later) I bring it into the store because all the diamonds fell out.

My son never noticed until he looked in the mirror that night. As a decent store I brought it in to show them you could see the little bit a glue that the diamonds were connected on in the casing, but the store manager instead told me there is no way that could happen and they don't cover that. What?

Was in the Warren Pa Kay Jewelers, the store smells of cigarette smoke. 2 of the sales people and one was the store manager smelled of cigarette smoke. Perhaps the employees should go home and take a bath. I could not stand the smell. Had to leave.

As I was leaving noticed the employees stand around the corner of the building to smoke. Very disrespectful to others. The odor remains on the person's hands and clothes. Very rude. Will not go back into the store again.

Oh I wouldn’t even rate Kay jewelers with a one star. I was a long time loyal customer but with every piece of jewelry I bought from them it had to be sent for repair so much that they had possession of my jewelry more than I did even after I bought and paid for it.

They sell nothing but junk. I got a ring that was priced with them $6000 and I went to check on the ring for purposes of selling it or such and I was told they would not give me no more than $500 for a $6000 ring.

The whole top of this ring the large diamond on top completely come out and I lost it. I was told by management at the store to bring it in and then the actual store manager even told me he would process a return even calling me having me come to the store to get the cash money then

Was just in the store a couple weeks ago picking up my ring that had a stone replaced and it’s been maybe 2 weeks and the stone they fixed has fallen out again. Bought a engagement ring for 2700$ had them put a few things changed and sized paid in full . Told me it would take 2 weeks to do it . So waited to the day they promised me they told me it was a mistake on the manager and it wasn’t done .

They told me the manager would call me the next day didn’t receive a call then they told me 6 days and it would be ready so I called 6 days later and then now they told me 6 more days . I proposed with a loaner because they said when I get back from our trip it would be done it’s not and they gave me a bullshit excuse.

The people doing the ring said they are trying to make the stone having put in are taking a long time to get tight. Told me 6 7 more days

I already have a complaint in against Kay’s at the north shore mall in Peabody, ma, against Kelly. My resolution is I want my stone taken out and put back in the original ring. Kay’s can have their original setting back and I want $500 for my time.

I am in a wheelchair and have limited mobility.

Also I had an appointment with Kelly to bring in some jewelry. We canceled and she denied receiving my messages This is a total upset to me as I am newly paralyzed from a back injury and had a service dog with me

I brought my ring to be serviced due to the diamonds falling out of it for the 5th time of having replaced and they told me that I had an extended warranty and it expired when I have a life time warranty on my ring and now they refused me service on my ring.

I have been a customer with then for almost 10 years and it sad they I paid hundreds of dollars and not even being able to get my ring repaired. I was serving overseas and at times could not return home to get my ring inspected every six months.

I have never been denied repair before until 11 June 2021 before.

My gold chain clasp,needed to be repaired, which takes two week minimum. The store Mgr. or trainee could not find any information in my lifetime warranty. Very unprofessional, I'm so glad I have the original paperwork. Very upset with the way things were handled at your Mc Donough store location.

I have owned this piece of jewelry for about 7yrs. no problem with any other store until niw.

Purchased my wife a $600 necklace mid December of 2020, it's broke 3 times already just from wearing it. Not sleeping, showering,or wearing it while working. Now it's broke for the forth time,. And all they can do is replace it Every couple weeks I guess.

I went to the Bowling green, KY store. I needed an inspection and cleaning of my $6,500 ring I purchased 6 months ago. I was ignored whenever I went into the store. The manager, Addison was sitting looking at a laptop.

He gave eye contact but did not offer assistance. Other customers were leaving without help. I approached him to ask for assistance. He was rude and had an attitude that I was bothering him. It is obvious that he is miserable.

The ring I purchased was initially the standard size. 25. 25 also. The sales rep suggested we send the engagement ring out along with it so the jewelers can match it up perfectly. The rings came back and we went to pick them up only to find that my finances engagement ring had been sized up to a size 9.

Without out knowledge and without 1st contacting us. 5. 25 was already a little big. So now we are without her ring AGAIN, and the gold is being resized AGAIN. From what I've read that can weaken the gold. But we are going on a month without her having a ring.

They should have let us know or asked before sizing it up to a 9.

My husband bought me a ring for Valentine's Day and a diamond fell out. He had purchased the extended warranty for the ring. I took the ring back in today with the receipt and the paperwork to get the diamond replaced and the girl looked at the ring and said you will have to pay for it to be fixed.

I ask why my warranty wouldn't cover it and she tried to tell me I didn't have a warranty. I showed the paperwork to her and then she got smart with me telling it would cover it and was very rude through the entire interaction.

I told her thank you at the end and she just smarted off we will call you when it comes back.

com filtering their search to items only available for store pick up as I was close to my girlfriends birthday, and didn't want to take a risk of not receiving the shipped item on time. On May 10th I ordered a set of earrings that was around $2200 with taxes.

Order was placed around 4pm but shortly after, I've noticed I have not received a confirmation email. I logged back into their website where status of my order preparing to ship to store - available around May 13th ( I looked for pick up in store - typically within 4 hours per their website).
