my husband died last December. I decided to have a custom ring made from my wedding ring. I went to Kay. I got my ring and loved it. Four days later the center stone broke off completely and is gone forever.

It was all i have left of my husband. 00. POOR WORKMANSHIP!!! I am beyond furious and devastated. I wish i would have researched Kay before I took it there, many horror stories on line.

So I made a purchase online it took money from my account but later received a email saying the order was canceled because of inventory.. here it is the 3rd day my money still hasn't been refunded.... so much for proposing to my girlfriend next week!!

This is a shame that I can't get my money back in time to get a ring for my plans next week... the system shouldn't let you purchase something if it out of stock!!! Very very very disappointed

Absolutely atrocious customer service.

I contacted customer service because I'd ordered online for Mother's Day. I ordered two and a half weeks before I needed it. The store hadn't contacted me about it being delivered yet, even though it was supposed to have been delivered two days prior. I contacted customer service, and they told me there had been an issue with delivery, and the jewelry was going to be sent back to their warehouse and shipped off again to the store. Which obviously meant it wouldn't get to the store in time for Mother's Day.

Customer service refused to expedite or overnight the jewelry once it reached the warehouse. They refused to just send a new piece of jewelery and put the original back in the warehouse. AND they refused to even CANCEL AND REFUND MY ORDER. Are you…

I bought a $14,000 ring from one of your stores in Dec of 2020. I did get it inspected before and after Covid but they claim they have no record of it. I have spent a ton of money with your company and bought all the insurance for my jewelry.

I received terrible customer service from the Eureka store trying to get someone to handle this situation. I had my husband talk to them and they treated him just as harsh. NOTHING !! They are detached emotionally that this happened.

Hello my name is Teressa Turner , I have talked to several people about a bracelet I purchased several months ago. The problem is the bracelet kept breaking so they decided to replace it with another one (supposed to have been the same).

They have had my diamond ring for almost 4 months . I originally brought it in to be sized. I went to the store after a few weeks they had the ring there but the back of the ring was cut open.

They said they found a chip in one of the diamond so it couldn’t be sized until the diamond was replaced . It had to go to corporate office to replace the diamond and then to regional office to be sized.

Their motto should be every snotty and bad attitude begins with Kay's associates. Every time we have gone in the assistant manager has been argumentative. She refused to look further into the fact that we had a warranty on one of the rings and was going to charge us for it.

The next day I brought her proof from their home office that we had a warranty on all rings and she still wanted to argue. I told her I didn't like her attitude and she told us we were the ones with a bad attitude.

I was told that Marine will be sized and I will get it back by 3rd of April right before my birthday and my anniversary.. I received again a call pushing it out 10 days to 14 days because of people quitting.

We do pay for our jewelry and I am so fed up that I've been pushed out again that would be the second time with a different jewelry. I always bought jewelry from kay,s. On Monday, 06/22/20 I purchased a ring from Kay Jeweler's online. The approximate delivery date of the ring was 06/26/20 but I see that after I made the purchase, they've added a notice about COVID-19 and deliveries will be behind schedule.

That's fine, I get it. I would however like to know what the approximate date is going to be, and I can't get an answer from ANY employee I've spoken with. One lady told me that it is coming from the west coast, and I will receive a tracking number that day (this was Saturday, 06/27/20) and have yet to receive the tracking number.

Ordered a ring on April 22nd, paid $30 overnight shipping. The order date was expected to be May 1st. Today is May 1st and no shipping update has been provided, customer service reps are not being helpful to find out. I received an email that my order was going to be canceled! I never wanted it canceled especially when I have diligently called for help and guidance. No one helps only repeat common-sense information I can find online. My fiancé and I picked out a beautiful ring but what sold the ring was the replacement of the beautiful center diamond we were promised by the associate that the new diamond inputted into the ring had more clarity and little to no color at all. I would give Kays Jewelers Greenbriar Mall location a -1 in customer service if I could. Left my ring for repair 6 weeks ago, was promised would be ready today. Went to p/u and told not ready give it a couple more weeks.

2 weeks ago I dropped off my wedding ring for it to be resized and cleaned. I go to pick it up today (on our 4 year anniversary) Like normal the lady takes her pictures of the ring. Once I received my confirmation email with the before and after pictures attached I noticed there was a stone missing.

I had to go back to the store and once I told the lady who I just picked the ring up from 5 minutes ago she responds I’m sorry I didn’t notice it because of all the sparkles and giggles in my face. Sabrina, store manager from Garner NC lacks any desirable customer service skills.

First off, debating with the customer if they truly received an email confirmation and assuming it went to spam is bad customer service. Of course I would have checked this, before placing the call?! Only to state the only resolution is to stop in store to print the confirmation. What is this?? Going back in time!!

I went onto my local Kay's to upgrade my diamond ring. The ring I wanted to trade in was also bought at Kay's. I picked out the ring I wanted. I tried it on and looked at it very closely.

I was in love with it. So I made the purchase and was told about 3 weeks I will have my ring. 3 weeks later I went to pick my ring up. I looked at it and it had black Mark's on top of the diamond.

I complained to the manager about it. I was told the diamond had those marks when I purchased it. I said I would have seen it. She sat there and lied to my face about not switching the diamond.

I went to the Kay store in Tanger Outlet in Riverhead, and received the worst customer service experience EVER. " I assisted myself in finding a $799 pair of earrings I wanted to purchase. Mind you 15 minutes had passed and nothing from the sales clerks. up at a minimum.

Then one of the customers with the sales clerk was "just looking" and I do not understand how a customer willing to purchase is not even acknowledged not even once? I will never shop at Kay again! None of the stores!

I worked at store #206!. I was sexually assulted by a co-worker and bc there are no cameras he got away with putting my hand on his penis and asking me to give him a blowjob! I took 2 weeks to go do ivf to get pregnant and Kay's put me out of work for over 1 month.

The so called manager at your Turtle Creek Mall in Hattiesburg, MS is nothing more than a con artice and liar. I know this will fall on deaf ears but it sure as hell makes me feel better. In late Oct of last year I needed 2 18" pearl necklace and 1 20" pearl necklace for my two daughters and granddaughter for birthdays after Christmas.

David reminded me of slick talking used car salesman and should have followed my gut feelingthe and walked out But I did not, which I regret. Visited Kay Jewelers in Manassas, VA (Manassas Mall, 20109) on February 7, 2019 (today) to have pieces inspected. While I was met with cordiality at first, the customer service went down hill from there. When making small talk with one representative as she completed the paperwork process, she interrupted me to ask a question and it was clear she had no interest in what I was saying. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!!!!!! I was told I would receive my ring back in two weeks, I called into the store after that time had passed and no ring. I was told the pick up date was put in for 01/31/19 (the next day) and they would call; cool no problem.

In 2004 I began purchasing rings that were occasionally offered at a special price. It may have been twice a year.

In early 2018 I decided to give the one of those rings to my granddaughter and when I went in the girls that worked there found my account though it was very old and they were able to print the warantee and add my granddaughter’s name to the account. They cleaned and inspected the ring and gave me a box. I was very happy with their service. They also showed me on the computer all of the items that I had purchased over the years.

I went to your jewelry store In Janesville Wisconsin At one oclock today to get a battery in my watch. As I entered the Lady was helping another Lady with something so I stood at the counter and waited about 2 minutes and the asked her if she was the only one working.

She replied "No, hes in the back on break". So I waited another 5 or 6 minuites. As I then left, I told her I"ll take my business elsewhere. She then said "He will be out in 2 minutes or so".

She did not even care if she lost me as a customer. She should have told her fellow worker that I was waiting. I was just getting a battery so she figured no big deal over a cheap battery. I walked across the mall to the diamond center and had the battery replaced.

We bought a Wedding Ring Set in Feb. 2018. The first week it tarnished on the bottom and cracked. It had to be repaired 3 more times. Then a Diamond fell out. In July 2018, the Ring tarnished again and had a thin crack.

We wanted to return the Set and just close out our account. The Manager said we could not return the Set, because we were past the return date. Which is crazy, as the Store had the Ring more than us.

She said we could exchange for another set and subtract the difference. So, we purchased a new Set. Now we are being charged for both sets. The Manager said that she thought the first Set had been "paid off in full” so, the exchange was not allowed.

But, will not allow us to return that second set.

I picked up my watch today after waiting two weeks to have it sent away for a battery change,. 00. when I got to the store the clerk asked manger why there was no price for battery replacement on slip.

manager gruffly and angrily said no price on ticket then we don't charge. I then asked if I could have three links taken out of watch,. I have been a long term customer at Kay's so plus years. 00! I was quite taken back by price.

00 but not without protest. Her unprofessionalism upon no price on the battery and then not revealing price upfront was shocking. 00 charge. I feel that the manager took advantage of overcharging when she could not charge for a mistake on the battery ticket.

I called the knightdale store in North Carolina the manager Denise not sure of last name was rude with me saying it’s not ready her tone was very nasty to me she hung up as I was talking to her in my ear.

I will never do any more business with Kay jewelers ever again. And the wrap ring I brought will be getting return as soon as it gets back. I will also be calling the cooperate office to let them know how there manager is treating customers.

My wife bought me a white gold chain. Very rarely wear it and it has broke 3 times in a year. When she bought it the offered her insurance which she agreed to. Later to find out they gave her insurance in the case she lost her job and couldn't make the payment.

I had to pay out of pocket fifty dollars the last 3 times on a 475 dollar chain. Well thats not my complaint this last time they call me and say there is some weak points in the chain. It can be fixed for almost 60 more dollars.

I declined and they said they will fix where it broke. So i go to pick it up today and the lady puts it on my neck. I paid and walked out. I take it off and show my wife the chain.

There is a gold looking piece where the sauder it. It looked like it went through a cheese grater. One strand holding here…

00 from May 3-6. The bracelet was not available in the store so I ordered it online in the store. I was not able to get my free gift because the manager Ken said if you order online even if it is not available in the store this option was not available.

My thought is if the ad runs from 5/3 to 5/6 then it should be enough items available in the store to cover the advertised ad till the end of the advertised promotion. The ad did not state that if the item was ordered on line the free gift was not a option.

This is not good business promotion. If this can not be resolved I will report this to the better business bureau.

Good Morning I ordered a school class ring in the Kay Jewelers, Oxmoor Center Store in Louisville, KY on 14 Jan 2018. The class ring was delivered to the store in March 2018. The ring was incorrectly sized by the store and to sent back.

The store rep stated that because of the error by the store; the ring would be sent back out and delivered back to the store in time for a scheduled school event on 20 Apr 18. In this entire time, the store never called to give an update or status as to what was going on with the ring.

I called the store numerous times being told that the order could not be found, I would be called back or no response from anyone at all. As of today 23 Apr 2018, I still do not have the school ring that was ordered.
