I have been having issues with my Kia K5 gas door that seems to stay locked when trying to fuel up, took it to this dealership, for some help on this problems seeing that if I cannot open the gas door how can I fuel up, upon entering the dealership, they where not welcoming at all, when i explained my issue, the Manager states that they can force the door open but I would have to sign a waiver form stating that any damages that may occur they are not responsible for, I was just stunned at what I was hearing, like what happen to my warranty, they said in not the best of ways that was not there problem, I could not believe what I was hearing let alone how I was treated as a customer.

My LED daytime lights have not worked for months. I am still under the 60,000 mile warranty. I have been to two KIA dealerships. Neither one knows how to fix the lights. Sad to say, I enjoy the car but would never buy another.
I finally got my car in 5/5/24 after complaint of transmission issues since October 2022. I picked my car up yeaterday 5/23/23 and they had to replace the transmission. They were supposed to check why my anti traction, forward collision, check engine and other lights randomly came on and my car would brake in the middle of the road as well as my ROM’s going crazy and my LCD screen going black.

I took my car to get a routine oil change and service in November of 2022. Got my car back and didn't drive it for over a month, the day I drover it for the first time in over a month the engine light comes on and the car goes into limp mode.
Turns out the dealership I bought it from screwed up big time on the oil change and ruined the car. Been dealing with KIA nonstop since January and have received no information or anything with regards to how this is going to be rectified.
I have spent days being on hold for more than an hour with no answer. This has been an absolute nightmare for me financially and emotionally. Make sme seriously never want to buy a KIA or deal with them ever again.
My Kia K900 needed AAA to start the car. I drove to Bridgewater Kia for repairs. They said I needed an alternator, but they have no K900 qualified mechanic to install it. I took my car to Gateway Kia and was told that they couldn’t do the repairs either because they also had no qualified mechanic.
Now my car is parked at my home, unable to start, waiting for Sansone Kia to take my car in on 05/ 25/ @ 8am for service.

I have a 2019 Kia Sportage. This is my 3rd Kia, and my last! My door handle broke and fell off my car. I called the 3rd week in March to order the part. After 3 weeks and not receiving a call to let know if the part was in, I called and then was told they would have to send it off to be painted.
I scheduled an appointment April 28th, after I sat and waited for an hour the lady tells me they don’t have all the parts to fix it. A week later I’m back and waiting again. Now they tell me the door handle is not painted.
I have taken 2 days off for this and I’m still without a door handle. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Which is: My wife is small. The passenger seat does not raise, so she can't see out the windshield unless she sits on a cushion. That changes the weight distribution ... which does not activate the passenger airbag. So her choice is: 1) not seeing out or 2) Riding around with no airbag protection!!!
There has to be a way to "Manually" tunr the passenger airbag ON !!!

They are really nice and helpful but their anti theft software update was inefficient. Our Kia got stolen again 5 days later with a door key. That's the second time in 5 months. They should help their customers get rid of their vehicle and buy a new one at an affordable price. Helpful
These people have to be the worst trained at helping to find a vehicle for a customer. What they do is find a vehicle that works for their commission. When you pull up to the dealership, all the sales reps sit out in front, smoking, vapes and staring down all the people that park.
Then they run out to you like you’re going to get mugged asking you how you knew about us and who you talk to on the phone or you sure you talk to the right person blah blah blah did they give you the customer rep that you had a appointment with. And the gentleman Rolando of DB Kia, who wants to sell you anything just to make some money, but doesn’t care about what it takes.

My 2021 kia telluride has been in for service at least 10 times over the past almost 12 months to fix the Android auto that isn't working. I most recently dropped it off 2 weeks ago and got a far less comprable loaner.
I called today to find out that the service manager has "put my repair on the backburner" and the car has not even been touched yet due to the manager overscheduling appointments. IN 2 WEEKS ITS BEEN THERE! I have had this issue for over a year.

Tried to payoff my account using a credit card (for pts.) and Kia said that I had to pay $7.95 for EACH transaction of $2900. Therefore I would have to pay $31.80 to pay off my car? It's a ripoff and Kia uses Western Union, another "rape the poor" company.
My 2019 kia forte has been at the Ball Kia Dealership (NATIONAL CITY, CA) for almost 2 months now. Service department can only do so much but KIA is failing to send there own Technician to get to the bottom of my problem which is my car not starting but everything that has been tested that can cause this is turning out good.

My Oakland Kai Sales rep talked me into purchasing a maintenance plan so he could bonus which I specifically asked about covering routine maintenance and manufacturer recommendations. That is NOT what I was sold. Come to find out I was sold a basic routine plan which only covers oile changes, under hood air filters and tire rotation.

I have been trying for months to have my wife’s Kia Connect subscription re activated, after calling several times with no answer I finally get through . But of course the lady is from Overseas and can’t understand one word she is saying.
After 20 minutes of going nowhere she then ask if I was a minor after telling her my date of birth I’m 56! Then she was talking to someone else about a total different issue and then would come back to and ask again if I was a minor, does she not know WTH 9-19-166 means as an age…..

I have a 2017 Sorrento with 24500 miles which I attempted to trade in for another non Kia vehicle. The trade was not accepted due to a recall on my vehicle . the recall is for the trailer hitch .
when I took the vehicle to. Kia for the recall I was told it is non fixable item and directed to contact their customer service. After a frustrating call time of nearly an hour I was told there is nothing that can be done.

I got hung up on when trying to figure out how to get a safety recall taken care of. This particular safety recall is for an airbag that may or may not deploy when I get in accident. Needless to say my next car will not be a Kia considering they don't seem to take this issue of injury/death seriously.
My 2017 optima had engine failure and 3 weeks after investigation with the dealership, they admit it was factory defect and offered free replacement. They first tried to convince to pay 6k of new part (so the car will feel like new) then ended up having having me pay 550$ for a part that was 2000 miles over the warranty.
Now they have the car for 9 weeks and there’s no communication form ki of what’s ever! Whenever I call they say it’s about to be done… I would rate customer service a big “0” if I could. No communication at all!

My car was taken to Gurley Leep Kia for a factory recall engine replacement. My transmission passed an initial diagnostic inspection, and the car was released to me after my engine was replaced. I was told initially that there were transmission issues related to data settings, which were supposed to be remedied. I noticed transmission issues and reported them to Gurley Leep Kia. Now I'm being told my transmission failed an inspection in less than a month.
My car had no issues with the transmission prior to my engine being replaced. Now I'm being told it's going to cost 14,000 dollars to replace. This is unacceptable!
My Kia was stolen and then found damaged. I took it to a Kia dealership to be fixed on December 2022. Now April 2023, my car is still not fixed. I’ve gone to the dealership several times and have been told different stories by different people.
They have already taken the money from the insurance to be fixed but they keep lying about parts not being available. One time they showed me all the parts that were available for my car and were only missing a rear view window, the next time I went there they had several parts missing.
The parts manager, Jason, even admitted that they have used parts from different cars to fix other cars. No one picks up the phone, or they put you on hold for over an hour.

So, I purchased a 2018 KIA Soul in 2019 at the Dealership in Fayetteville, NC. I am told there was a Recall Notice sent out for PI2107. I never received this Recall Notice. I am told that the Recall Notice was sent to 6266 US Hwy 301 So, Hope Mills NC 28348, by one of the KIA Affairs Team Members.
All documentation on the purchase of this car is for my address which is 8956 Rockfish Rd, Raeford, NC 28376. Not sure why a recall was sent to 6266 YS 301 So in Hope Mills, NC, since I have not lived at that location since my DIVORCE in 1999.

I can't believe I'm not the only one having "oil" issues with my 2017 Kia Optima. I have never had such horrible customer service in my life. Did the oil consumption test, and was told they couldn't give me a definitive answer on why by car was losing oil.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. ON March 15th I sent full payment for the kia seltos I bought in Brunswick, GA at Mike Murphy KIA.. I sent payment with two checks. $8000 Truist bank check AND 14,890 Bank of America check via UPS next Day Priority.
kia finance cashed the $8000 check and for unknown reason not the BAC check. Maybe because they want to charge extra interest. I will never recommend CROOKED kia company to any of my friends. 65. I was debating between kia and HYUNDAI and unfortunately I bought kia.
