I recently purchased (a month ago) a 2023 Kia Forte GT from Kearny Mesa Ford and Kia Agency in San Diego. I LOVE THE CAR, however, at the time of purchase, they gave me 2 keys. I told them I wanted a 3rd key made.

They said it would cost a total of $450 dollars, and I told them I would come back to purchase the extra key in a couple of weeks. ) Well, to my surprise, I found out from a private car-key-maker, that cars with push-button start can only have 2 keys.

The manager of the service department at Kearny Mesa, Taylor, confirmed that today through a phone call to me. My problem is, I would never have purchased the KIA with a push button start if I had known I could not have another key made.

We had a family emergency so we tried to go to Mexico and we ended up getting stuck between borders and after they were going to email us a permissible letter to cross over first we were told a day next we were told 2-3 ,days then after we were forced to get insurance in order to process the checklist that they needed we were told that we would have to wait 5 to 6 days it was unfortunate because we were saying our goodbyes to a family member.

This complaint is specific to Cartown Kia located in Nicholasville, Ky. Where do I start? When I purchased my new car... with only 4017 miles on it, I NEVER expected it to ALREADY have something go wrong with it. Friday (3/3) while im driving to work, it starts acting up, check engine light turns on and begins flashing frantically.

I immediately have it towed to my local mechanic. Fast forward to Monday... mechanic calls and states that they are 99% sure that its the crankshaft and it needs to go to the dealer because it should be covered under warranty (car now has 19,904 miles on it).

I call the dealer and inform them that my car is being towed to them and explain in detail whats happening. They tell me that once its recieved they run their own diagnostic which can take a few days and…

I have been trying to get through to Kia consumer affairs department for the last 2 weeks. Each time I am on hold for more than an hour. Today it has reached the 2 hour mark. Took 2020 Kia Sportage I bought from a Kia Dealer 5 months earlier for an oil change. Was told battery was bad, but it started fine. My response was “Until it doesn’t “. Who tells a single elderly woman that? What an idiot!

Was told that battery was replaced as well as me getting 4 new tires when I picked up vehicle from Moritz Kia Fort Worth. Only to find out battery was NOT replaced and I only received 2 new tires! Had to buy a battery for a car I had only had 5 months and was over $200! What a shame!

After being brought into the World Kia Auto dealership, I was given a car that had bad rotors and brake. I called to address the problem, but nothing happened. I was told there was nothing they could do. I took my car to Gerald Kia in North Aurora.

They attempted to correct the problem. On several occasions I ask for help with this matter. Now I’m afraid to drive the car because now the wheel are making a louder squealing sound. The car continuously veer over to the right.

I requested help and paid for the help, but it is still doing the same thing I reported this mater to the attorney general’s office when I first purchased the car. In addition to this my car is at risk of being stolen

Car music system getting blank but system is running, have sent to service centre thrice but still no resolution. Now car dealer is asking to replace the system & they will provide 70% discount but still the amount is high(approx 18k), I bought car 3 year 3 years back & understood now warranty is for 2 years, car was not used in lockdown period and

now showing this problem, this is a manufacture defect & consumer should not be struggle in this situation. Kia should take the responsibility replacing the infotainment.

My Sorento was in an accident on October 10, 2023. The repair seemed to be lagging so I contacted the repair shop after a few weeks and I was told that two parts were still needed to complete the repair and they were not available anywhere including KIA.

At this time I sent an email to KIA customer service and received verification that it was received. Now begins the worst customer service I have ever encountered from any company previously. I never got a response to my email or any attempt to address my problem.

I followed this up with 3 more emails and got the same resonse. Nothing. I then sent a letter to Mr Steven Center, COO of Kia America. I am still waiting for his response. I then contacted my KIA dealer, General Manager Sean McGuire of Jenkins KIA of Crystal River, Florida.

I’ve been battling Kia and Kia Corporate for several months about my car engine that is faulty. I have a 2015 Kia Soul. EVERY SINGLE DEALERSHIP would keep putting off my recalls for months until it was out of warranty.

I would make an appointment and they would claim they forgot to order the part, taking several days of work off in total. Eventually it was out of warranty and they wouldn’t help me anymore, which was on purpose honestly because they’re a seedy company.

I almost died on the highway because my engine malfunctioned and that same engine killed my catalytic converter. Even though they have lawsuits against them for my car model and others they refuse to assist and denied my claim twice after 6 months of trying to get in contact with anyone multiple days a week.

I already submitted 1 complaint thru this site. So apparently, my complaint is not valid because I didn't buy a KIA !! I bought a Chevrolet THRU KIA ! The Service Department is part of this KIA dealership !! My financing is thru KIA !!

So after FIFTY MINUTES on hold,I was told I could NOT file a claim because I didn't buy a KIA !! and I have yet to get any response

Kia in dodge city ks has had my Sorento for an antifreeze issue for over 24 hours now with this they did not provide a loaner after being told that is my only transportation. I have two children and one that missed school because of not having a way to get him there.

I work nights and basically walked home due to no transportation (4miles) in the cold. I still don’t have my Kia back

On October 28th 2022 my engine stopped. Come to find out there was a huge lawsuit against KIA & Hyundai due to motor failure in many of their makes, models, and years, although I never did receive notification by mail!!!!

I had purchased an extended warranty through my dealership and that company is the who notified me of said lawsuit. KIA would not provide me with a loaner vehicle but, through the lawsuit, you had to pay for a rental and eventually be reimbursed, so basically pay your car payment and also rent a vehicle because KIA messed up!!!

Finally on December 5th 2022 (this whole time I received no updates from the dealership unless I contacted them) I get a call that my motor has been replaced and I can come get my car (2015 KIA Sportage SX) I live an hour away from the dealership…

On our 2016 kia rondo the paint is peeling off. The top coat did not bond to the primer. Apparently this is happening on several Kia and Hyundai vehicles. This has caused the value of my car to drop drastically.

On 12/10/22 I went to Kia Irvine for oil change and tire rotation. I KNOW they did not do tire rotation as I have 2 tires that had very slow leaks. After "supposed" tire rotation I got a dashboard error of low PSI in SAME 2 tires !

Now I have message that I need oil change. I've only driven 800 miles !! Each time I've gone to this dealership , it's been 2 hr wait times WITH an appointment! Last time I was told it was their lunch time.

WHY would they make an appointment KNOWING it's lunch time ? Do they not stagger lunches ? I asked 1 time if they could replace screw holding front license plate. for $50 !! I'm a disabled Senior and I found an appropriate screw and did it MYSELF.

I PAID the extra $ for extended warranty. I do NOT want to go to this location AGAIN !!

In 2019 I bought a 2017 KIA koup for Al Majid (UAE) they provided me with a warranty booklet that states I was given 5 years warranty or 150000Km. I took my new car to Oman where all the information and warrnty was entered into the system after contacting KIA Korea.

I have had some insidence that the warranty covered. A few days back my left drivers mirror stoped working. I took it to KIA Oman and the didnt have the part and had to order. After a week the part arrived from UAE, however, the KIA Oman refused to Honour the warranty claiming that the car was warranted since it wasleft the factory.

I recently bought a car at this dealership and z should’ve just stop the whole process from the beginning. Customer service is horrible. In this competitive world of sales, we are not only buying a product but an experience. And this has been the worst buying an car experience ever.

Sales manager is rude and with very little knowledge of the car he’s selling. Forgot to get a vin inspection so I can’t get a license plate for another four weeks ( it has been a month already).

I dropped off my care on Jan 23 my car was not worked on until two weeks later. I had to go to the Kia World Center in New Braunfels and actually see other people being told that they would get their cars back that afternoon.

(Multiple Customers) I had been told they only had one mechanic so my car sat there. I was called to pick up the vehicle a week and half later. I was out of town for a job that I had to borrow a car because my care was not ready before I left.

When I did come to pick up the vehicle, 4 miles down the road my car did the same exact thing. Engine turned off and would not go back on for a few more minutes. I explained all this to the dealership and they came and picked up the care again.

I have a 2016 Kian Sorento, and from day 1 it has been a piece of junk. There have been so many problems with the engine, transmission, and turbo that I can't even list them all.

Kia keeps on claiming that the quality of their vehicles has improved so much, but in actuality, Kia vehicle are still far below competitors such as Toyota and Honda.

I will never buy another Kia or Hyundai again, and I'll recommend to all my friends never to do so.

Dear Sirs, I took my 2017 KIA forte to family KIA of st. Augustine 2665 us highway 1 south, st. augustine fl. 32086 on 2-23-2023. To have brakes done and disc turned. I finally picked it up after waiting 6 hours.

Drove it 5 minutes down the road, every time I pressed the brakes there was an awful clunking sound on drivers front, so I took it back and they tightened all bolts. So I left again and it was still clunking again, so I was closer to discount tire, so I had them check it out, manager took off drivers front tire and found that the bolts for the brake caliper were never put back in.

So KIA came out friday 2-24 to tow it back to KIA. I again picked it up that afternoon and drove it down the road for a bit bouncing cause they didn't rebalance the wheel like I had told them to do.…

Will call a million times even after you have spoken to someone and they state that the harassment will stop! I asked the representative if they could provide me with some type of confirmation to refer back to our conversation and I was told they don’t have that information. Representatives are like robots!

They don’t have much knowledge of anything else besides the script they are given. Was asked very personal questions during my last call but was told it was protocol. Never in my 4 years of being a customer have I been questioned that way! It was very uncomfortable!

On 2/10/23 my wife brought her 2019 KIA Sorento to The Service Dept. of Dan O'Brien KIA of North Hampton NH. for new brakes to be installed. While in the possession of the service dept. my wife's car suffered Several thousands of dollars in damages.

An inexperienced technician did not bleed the breaks after inspection and evaluation. After the vehicle was lowered from the lift to the floor of the service bay it was started put in reverse, realizing there were no breaks in the car he panicked and hit the gas pedal driving the vehicle into a service bay lift behind him.

the damage is significant and the general manager of the dealership whom I only know by "Kurt" because he was so unprofessional. He offered no last name or a business card. He has been less than cooperative with us .

My 2018 Kia Optima is having an issue with oil consumption. The vehicle isn't leaking - so the issue is elsewhere. Ive been dealing with this issue & some others since December. My car only has 47000 miles on it - My warranty is good for at least 100,000 miles and I only drive abt 15 miles a day.

An oil consumption test was started on my vehicle about a month ago - after the oil light came on while I was taking my grand baby to school. I went into a local service center across the street and they showed me where it didnt have any oil iny vehicle. It was dangerously low so I paid them to fill it up. I have made several attempts to contact your office about the poor service I received when I took my Kia Optima in for regular maintenance at the shop. They were to repair my tire that had a nail in it.

They did not remove the nail and I am confident that the other maintenance service was not done. My request was ignored. Instead, they offered me and suggested that I buy four new tires. 00 left me feeling that I was just taken advantaged of.

I think I should be refunded my money. I had to go to another tie shop to get my tire repaired after the tire pressure light came on a week after I had it on your shop.

Kia service centers in ontario, Pomona and Covina will not return my messages left on voicemail and email referring to my service recall. My car smells of burning and I’ve taken it to Firestone and had all the required items checked out and they don’t know where the smell is coming from.

My recall says my car can catch fire and it worries me that there’s a burning smell and no one can find it. I would like Kia to check my recall to see if it may be causing the burning smell since I’m having symptoms of the recall description.

Recall online isn’t even an option to schedule a service through email so Kia employees should be returning all messages timely. I am going on 3 years now and this is one of the reasons I never get my car serviced at Kia dealerships.

I have my car for 3 years only drove my car for 56,000 miles . My i Engine blew . I was up to date on my oil changes . You guys have have law suits against the same issue .

I’m having ( POWERCHAIN ISSUE ) engine block . They didn’t give me a car . OAKLAND KIA BEEN HAD MY CAR ALMOST 3 months and still hasn’t fix my car . This is crazy so I have join the lawsuit against Kia.

Carmax sold us a lemon 2020 Kia Soul. 26,000 miles and 31 days later the car died. No oil, smoke under hood, grinding noise on turns and then shut down while driving. Hard to get a service date at any Kia and some of the workers are rude!!!

Our Sportage only has 15000 miles on it and the brake roters went. Mia of Wesley chapel is willing to pay for 50% of the service to fix them , but we believe Kia should pay for the whole thing since it’s obvious the brakes are faulty and should not pay for them to be fixed.

We have owned 8 Toyota’s previously and at one time the alternator went at 37000 miles and they paid for it to be fixed as a good faith gesture. Why Kia can’t do this is beyond me. If they want to keep us as customers they should pay for them to be fixed.

Had my 2016 Kia soul start leaking. Took it to my mechanic who all does the regular service for our cars and he saw the oil pan was leaking at the spot weld of the internal baffle. He stopped said take it to Kia it’s a manufacture defect.

Took out car to Kia they said no something hit the oil pan and cause it to leak. As I know know nothing has hit our car as I would have heard such a noise that could cause and oil pan to break.

Very dissatisfied with Kia garden grove to not taking responsibility for a Kia defect.

Last week, noticed my RPM gauge acting different; revving whenever and decelerating whenever it pleases. Today, she barely drives. Extremely sluggish and almost completely stalls as low as 25mph and as high as 60mph. To get my RPM gauge to move I have to forcibly step on the gas.

And if I don’t go over at least 30mph, it shutters and almost dies. I barely made it on my street tonight after a 20 minute drive. 5years ago*

Had my oil changed today. Been going to same dealership for 3 years. I have never been told to change air filter or cabin filter.

Also since my last appointment my brake pads has gotten thicker. Informed service manager and he was rude. Then I took filter out and showed him how dirty it was. He was rude that I came back in to show him.

So I informed him that I would never come back here and he didn't care.

Brought my wife’s car in for service on a 2021 forte. The service department at East Syracuse New York Kia was not what I expected. The service manager was rude and needs some education on customer service. I was unaware that the part causing trouble with the battery was not under warranty .

When I spoke up about wanting to know why , I never was told why. My next call and email will be to the stony generals office. I will never purchase or do business with Kia again
