I bought a KitchenAid double wall oven for almost $4,000. In 3 1/2 years, I've had 6 failures during the clean cycle that cost almost $2,000 to repair. KitchenAid says the unit is out of warranty, and they will not make good on their quality statement.

How do I escalate and hopefully have the defective design or defective unit replaced?

In May 2016 purchased duel fuel range KDRU767VSS04 . Within first year control board WPW10533029 was replaced. Now the board went again. Seems it is no longer available and my only option is to purchase a new range. A range at this price point should not be permanently inoperable due to lack of parts after 8 years. Totally unacceptable KitchenAid. Very poor customer service.

Horrible customer service. I had all Kitchen Aid appliances for 25 years without problems. Purchased an oven last month. 3 separate deliveries with damaged prdts. And customer service is terrible. Their attempts to reschedule are ineffective. And their concern for their prdt delivery is poor.

Bought a new kitchen aid dishwasher. Installed it, very first cycle it started leaking underneath and giving a code. Called kitchenaid and was told they would contact us back within 3 business. Never did. Called them again. Was told a repair company would contact us.

We finally called the repair company. Was told we were too far away to travel. Called kitchenaid again, said they would contact us within 3 business days to try and find another repair company. Horrible customer service.

My complaint is with the kitchen Aid customer service support phone contact. My name is Woodrow Myers and I have a kitchen Aid refrigerator that the ice maker stopped working after 4 years. A technician diagnosed the problem as the wires leading to the ice maker were severed from the freezer door opening and closing during normal use. There was no recall for this flawed design and the technician quoted a door replacement price of $1000.00.

When I called customer service about the issue I was told that it was not possible to speak to a manager or anyone in a supervisory capacity. I was also told that the unit was out of warranty and it was nothing that could be done.

I purchased the 5 door KitchenAid refrigerator in 2020, I am already having multiple issues with it. Both of the evaporators went out in it and have left me without a working appliance for more than 6 weeks due to the incompetence of the repair companies that KitchenAid uses to service their customers.

The first guy was 3 days late from the scheduled service date, he then stated nothing was wrong with the unit after spending 10 minutes looking at it. less than a week later the entire unit died and all my contents were ruined.

It took over a week to get the repair company out again, then another week to replace the parts that failed. The repair man had punctured the part he just replaced and let R34 into my home without any of us knowing.

Now I know why my husband was sick for 3 days. So…

Fridge is only 4 years old and I'm being told that a $700 repair job might fix it but they don't know. I'm not getting any support from Kitchenaid who knows this is a problem big enough for them to put an article on their website on how to powercycle the fridge. If its that big of a problem with the quality of their product then it should be recalled and fixed.

KitchenAid is supposed to be a quality brand but a $4,000 fridge lasting 4 years is not quality at all.

I received an email from Kitchenaid suggesting that I could receive a 15% discount on my order if I purchased a Stand Mixer with the Ice Shaver Attachment. I logged into my account, added the Ice Shaver, 2022 Design Series Blossom Stand Mixer, and Food Prep attachments.

I added the promo code and was informed that my cart does not meet the criteria for the discount. ++ but could not give me a breakdown of what I was paying and the Worldpay link did not provide any indication of how much my account would be charged or what I was paying for.

++ but again I would have to use Worldpay with no order information. The third rep told me that you cannot stack discounts, I have no control over the Merchandise Discount or Unlock Price discount when logged in to my account.

Third broken appliance in 5 years multiple repairs on the oven. Bought the extended warranty thru AIG. That is as useless as the broken appliances. Multiple phone calls to AIG and Kitchen Aide are a complete waste of time.

On May 22 we purchased a KRFF507HPSS (Serial No. KB4807199 Refrigerator from ABT. After 4 days it was still not making ice. Abt assured us it would make ice and this was normal. It did make ice a day later until this week.

We walked through the trouble shooting. No ice. No ability to raise the refrigerator temp above 37 either despite it freezing food in the fridge in the back of a shelf. Your customer service set us up for a service call via your local service provider.

They never showed in the assigned time. Blew up my day. They claimed they had no service order from Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool. They set us up for today. We called early only to be told we are not in the system.

We spent $2800 with extended warranty and we get treated like our time is not important. Plus no ice in summer.…

I purchased a complete kitchen full of Kitchen Aid appliances, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and range hood. My kitchen remodel is not complete, so I did not have a chance to use all the appliances, but I was able to use the refrigerator, I had problems from the very beginning.

It was making a loud noise which one could hear on our second floor, I called about my warrantee since the refrigerator was delivered the end of April and was not in use until May. In addition to the loud noise, I was getting condensation between the French doors and inside the refrigerator.

All my food was moist. I scheduled a repair visit. Well, forget that, they only deal with one repair company , Fast Appliance which has a 3 star rating. After the repair visit, I do not know how they got even 3 stars.…

We purchased a refrigerator in September of 2021. After several delays, it arrived in June of 2022. The refrigerator has not worked correctly since we received it, with an average temperature of 45 degrees on the top shelf. We have had a ticket open with KitchenAid for 231 days now. Calling them is useless.

The only way to escalate the issue is to write to them; sent them a certified letter three weeks ago which they have not responded to. The only company they have servicing three counties across central and southern California is horrible.

It is truly unbelievable that they are allowed to get away with this. NO ONE SHOULD BE BUYING FROM THIS ONCE REPUTABLE COMPANY.

Brand new oven KSDB900ESS5 - delivered 4/27/23. Has had 4 service calls due to temperature not being constant. Today, tech set it at 350, it swung down to 313 and up to 377. I'm being told this is 'normal' yet, it's not at all 'normal' when attempting to bake a cake. Insides have come out RAW seven times now while the outside burns.

This oven is not NORMAL. I am asking for an exchange. Please.

We have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that has quit working. I have had a repair person out to check the dishwasher and paid the service call and the cost of a mother board. I am into the repair around $400.

Service tech said he needed a tech sheet to read the error codes. I called the Kitchen Aid customer service number and they were not much help. They do not have access to the tech sheet and could not help me.

The authorized service dealer is 2 hours from me. The gentlemen I talked to did not show a lot of interest in helping me. He made it clear that he wanted off the phone with me. This type of customer service is what makes things so frustrating.

At this point, I am not going to buy another Kitchen Aid.

I own a KitchenAid electric cordless kettle. I have been having problems with it for over a year. The lid doesn’t open without me forcing it; it has a slow water leak at the base; the kettle doesn’t often connect with the base so won’t turn on.

A kettle should have a life span of at least 4 or 5 years. With Covid and all the stress associated with it I didn’t think of contacting you sooner. My serial number is YA84101273. I called your customer service department number today and was totally dissatisfied with the response I received.

I have been a loyal KitchenAid customer for many years and am so disappointed.

I have owned my kitchenaid refirgerator for 20 months. When delivered the ice maker had to be replaced. Purchased in April 2021, In November a control board and fan went out, repaired Feb 22, In Oct of 22 the same parts went out again replaced the control board and fan repaired in Dec 22, it got really cold everything working better than before then January came around and the same thing again. Waiting on parts again. A few months ago I was offered 20% discount on a new fridge. Spend 3000$ on a major appliance you expect it to last more than a year or at least the company to back their product. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER, DON'T THINK CAN TRUST KITCHENAID/WHIRPOOL.

1. Pots burn up most everything I put in them. 2. Rude kitchen aid person couldn’t really understand what I said to her, contradicted herself, and then hung up on me. 3. All this happened after being on hold for almost 2 hours. 4.

Call back and given another # which forced me to listen to a disembodied voice yapping at me in a foreign language,,and then hung up on me! Even the recorded voices at Kitchen aid are rude! I’ll take my money elsewhere. Disgusting, and nothing resolved.

Bad service for newly purchased dishwasher with defective part.

New Dishwasher delivered on 1/25/23. Discovered the water inlet valve was defective - threads malformed and couldn't connect water hose. Called yesterday, 1/30/23 for replacement part. Asked part to be shipped overnight, was refused because part was "free". You can't stick a crowbar in your corporate pocket to ship overnight for a newly purchased, defective product?

Not good for customer service/retention. I'd return this device pronto, but given this started with a repair gone bad for my previous KA dishwasher that began months ago, don't want to wait further to get this resolved and be able to wash my dishes again.

Get your act together.

I've been trying to reach kitchen aid since late November. They sent me the wrong item. They take 2-3 weeks to kind of reply to an email, ask for more information and then till me they didn't send me the item I received. They just repeat my order back to me. I have had 3 email exchanges with no luck; it has taken 8 weeks to have 3 exchanges.

I've also called 3 times, the first two times I hung up at 45 minutes without having the phone answered. I'm currently on hold. They answered me at 55 minutes into the call.

The service is really bad.

I have purchased several KitchenAid Mixers over the past 30 years. I purchased a new 4Qt mixer in Dec 2021 and by March 2022 it was broken. I took it back into the company which is AL Thompson in the Cayman Islands who I presume is your authorised dealer here. They informed me that the warranty was on repair only and not replacement of the mixer.

It is January 2023 and I am still awaiting the return of the mixer. I have reached out to the company and was spoken to and dealt with in a direspectful manner and hence my reason for reaching out for help this way. I am presently the owner of 2 - 8 QT (in my posession) Commmercial Mixers and 2 - 4QT Mixers (1 in my posession and one not), 1 - 6QT (not in my possession) I paid for repairs but they cannot same to repair it as i have had to take it…

I recently found out that my stand mixer pro 500, KSM500PSSM, contains lead and I've been trying to contact them to no avail, I only wanted to ask for a lead free replacement, I've been on the phone several times waiting for an hour or more, the chat discontinue, or isn't available, my next step is finding a way to email the company and I'm sure that won't work either, it's frustrating to pay good money for an inappropriate appliance and then get blown, we need help or some answers!

I have been trying to talk to kitchen aid for 2 weeks. On the line for 1 1/2 hours at a time. after 45 mins t6hey diconnect me. I have insurance on my appliances and my kitchenaid refrig. stopped working in sept. 2022.

I ave had a technican here at least 7 times. The last time in nov. 2022 he said it couldn't be fixed. I was without a refrig.. for thanksgiving. It froze all my food. I lost hundreds of dollars on food loss.

and I can't seem to talk to anybody. I hate to say this but I went out and bought a new kitchenaid refrig. 2022. What can I do???? I need your help now!!

First and foremost I will never buy a kitchen aid appliance again. I have an extended warranty thank god for that. I’ve waited almost 2 weeks to get a technician come out only to tell me that the motor blew and it would take an additional 2 weeks for the parts to come in not including a scheduled day for them to come and fix it!

Overall I’m out of a range hood for a month and no one was able to help guide us on how we can get someone to have it replaced so we don’t have to be without a range hood for a month! No one was willing to help, no organization, no knowledge I’m very disappointed!

If you come across bad review on kitchen aid don’t ignore!

Model number KICU509XBL00, serial number XP62224430 Induction cooktop Worst purchase I ever made. We thought we were purchasing from a company who would stand behind their products and in 2017 bought all appliances for our summer home. Used the Induction cooktop about 10-12 times and then in 2020 attempted to have 3 pots going at once. The cooktop POPPED!

Only 3 years and approx 10 uses?! F47 error code. We had a tech out and he tried many things, then we had to purchase a new entire Electronic Control board assembly $500. It worked, until 2023, I attempted to use 3 burners simultaneously and it POPPED AGAIN!

NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE! Our Kitchen Aid Electric Range Stove (Model #KESH3678HH6) (Serial # IM61623478) needs 2 parts that seem not to exist. An Authorized Kitchen Aid Repair Service identified these two parts but did a through search and said these parts are no longer available Part: WTW10280189 is a part that's needed to fix a BACK RIGHT BURNER that only produces HOT but nothing in between and not usable.

Part: 9751363 is needed to fix the RIGHT FRONT burner dial/switch as this burner can not even be turned on. This complaint is particularly serious as it leave us with a stove with only one-half functionality. We can not accept the choice of having to buy a new stove because two small inexpensive parts are said to not exist.

I am writing this letter out of frustration and hope that you will back your product.

My husband and I bought our retirement condo in 2017. We decided to get all new appliances and to go with KitchenAid. We knew we were paying top dollar, but thought we were going with top quality. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

We bought a KitchenAid microwave, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. The dishwasher has worked beautifully , The oven works well, but has a build up in the glass panels that cannot be cleaned. The microwave has had to have the door latch fixed 4 times. To no avail, we have had several attempts to fix this refrigerator on NINE different occasions. We contacted KitchenAid and were told nothing could be done.

Kitchenaid sent their authorized repair company to fix my refrigerator. Parts were covered by Kitchenaid. 5 - 3 hours work. I called Kitchenaid about this as I was disgusted. This is more than an attorney. We are talking $700 an hour for labor!!!

I am also disgusted that my Thanksgiving was ruined. Kitchenaid told me someone would be coming out to fix my refrigerator the day before Thanksgiving. When I called the company for an eta they told me they weren't coming. They were too busy.

I lost all the contents of my refrigerator as a result and it ruined our Thanksgiving. Trying to feed 2 children without a functioning refrigerator is a nightmare. Nobody at Kitchenaid seems to care that their authorized service repair company are obviously price gauging. It's a disgrace.

ccording to Henry, the service technician, the wiring burned is the one which supplies the oven and the other which is burned but not parted is for the stove top. The wiring harness for the stove will need to be replaced.

This is not part of the electrical cord which was installed before delivering. The harness which is burned was to to a loose connection which allowed arcing and burned through the wir and the adjacent one. This happens if there is not a tight contact.

I lost count how many emails , snail mail, and phone calls I got asking me to purchase an extended warranty for a recently purchased oven microwave combo. I asked to be unsubscribed from their emails, but they are still being sent.

I have a kitchenAid fridge, KitchenAid cooktop, two mixers, and a warming drawer from Kitchen Aid , and I doubt I’ll purchase the brand again. Their constant badgering for an extended warranty, leaves me feeling that Kitchen Aid don’t find their products dependable anymore. Even Consumer Reports says to avoid extended warranties, yet you keep pushing them, my next kitchen will be another manufacturer. Enough is enough
