I can’t begin to explain my anger concerning kitchen aid continuing to send emails telling me my oven’s warranty is expiring. It is unbelievable how many emails and snail mails I have received trying to get an additional $250 from me for an extended warranty.

I own a KA refrigerator, a KA warming drawer, a KA gas cooktop, two KA mixers and now my second KA oven combo.

Even though I unsubscribed to your emails, they continue to come.

What your emails and letters are telling me is that I can no longer trust KitchenAid appliances, and therefore I’m done with your company.

EVEN CONSUMER REPORTS tells consumers not to purchase extended warranties, yet you’re persistent.

I’m done. Your competitors will get my business from now on since your company itself doesn’t trust the dependability…

1) I’m getting email that identifies the sender as KichenAid (sic), but appears to take me to the actual KitchenAid site; 2) the email tells me a product I’ve been waiting for is in stock; the web site tells me it is not; 3) when I go to the site to look at the product I’m asked to sign in. ); 4) the chat bot asks for my order number and is otherwise unresponsive; 5) the help phone number after several layers takes me to a place where I’m told it will be a 30 minute wait to speak with someone; this time never decreases; 6) when I tried leaving a number for call back, I was told the first available slot was 5 (five) days out; 7) I could not find a KitchenAid email address to send this note to!

I first called KitchenAid customer support at 1-866-644-7708 on 10/11/22 to obtain warranty replacement parts for a KitchenAid stainless steel gas grill model KFGR364LSS0. 00 per burner but would have to talk to her supervisor that was off that day about covering the sear plates.

She said to find the parts since they do not have them in stock anymore and call her back the next day to see if she spoke to her supervisor about the sear plates being covered. Customer having to search for their own warrantied parts???

Today I had a service person come in to look at my kitchen aid microwave which I purchased in September of 2018. The problem I was having was that the under the microwave light which we used primarily as a night light would not turn off.

Upon inspection it was determined that we would need a new circuit board. The price for this board is an astounding $482. We paid $700 for the unit. I find this to be ridiculous . In the past we always purchased kitchen aid as we felt it maintained a high standard for quality.

This will no longer be the case if you do not make this right. To spend over $400 to simply allow a light to work is robbery and if not rectified I will not hesitate to share my story on social media.

First fridge in 2017. Ice maker and mother board went out. 3 service calls and can’t be repaired. The replaced the fridge under warranty in 2020. Now the same issues are happening with this one. Repair came out and ice make is on back order, motherboard replaced but when she pulled the freezer led module out it ripped out the whole unit and now can’t be repaired.

Kitchenaid will give us a whopping $1200 for a $4500 fridge that has needed to be replaced twice. I’m done with them.

No one has been able to fix my kitchenaid fridge that is now 4 years old. The problem was seen about 1 month after the 3 year warranty ended.

However, the problem had been occurring prior we just couldn't see the back up happening until the water spilled out over the tray, then filling up ender the deli tray and eventually out the drawer where we could see it. We have unclogged it multiple times and it keeps happening.

Last person said it is faulty insulation and can't be fixed. That is unacceptable.

Only four years ago, we purchased KitchenAid’s 5 door refrigerator (KRMF706ESS) and spent roughly $3,500. We thought we were purchasing a top-of-the-line appliance from a top-of-the-line company. We were unfortunately wrong on both counts. Our refrigerator has not worked since June and, after jumping through the hoops KitchenAid uses as a stalling tactic, we are no closer to having a working refrigerator.

KitchenAid tells us only that our refrigerator is beyond its 1-year warranty and that they don’t know when they’ll have the part we need. There are clear design flaws in this model, evidenced by the number of 1-star reviews on Kitchen Aid’s website, all showing the same problems.

I am so unhappy with my experience with Kitchenaid this is supposed to be a premium product, I am unhappy with the customer service and the quality of the dough hook sent with my mixer. I ordered a new mixer which was sent with a dough hook with a defect in manufacturing where the coating has come off the seam split. It has taken months for kitchenaid 'customer support' to come back who refuse a replacement I have purchased a new one at £29 also been charged £14.95 for shipping and have been sent the wrong one this is rubbish customer support.

Bought a new Doible Oven in fall of 21. S and s appliance has been here 6 times to repair and is coming again on Tuesday. They have replace 5 parts and the bottom oven still does not work. We have been without an oven for three of the last 6 months.

We have always bought kitchen aid in the past but this has been a nightmare experience. Now the tech from s and s said not to use the self cleaning feature or it could start a fire. We would not have paid 3800.

For an oven we can’t use the features on. Is there anything you can do for us?????

I purchased a whole KitchenAid set during my home remodel, April 2019. I went with your brand for reliability. I WAS WRONG. In the past 3 years, I have now had my refrigerator/icemaker repaired 5 times. The first time, was right after the year mark.

Try to contact KitchenAid is useless. I called in today and person that answered gave me another number that when i called noted they were closed. Try to use the live chat and no one is on the other end. It is virtual. USELESS.

Try to send in an email request and the hyper link on their webpage does not work. They don't want to hear from the consumer. I have a ceramic coated cast iron cookware that the interior ceramic is peeling. Not impressed.

I am a customer who was very impressed with KitchenAid products. We ordered our new matching appliances in April 2021. We have received everything but our dishwasher. We are always told next month. We are number 3 on the list for delivery.

We haven't been able to get our dishwasher but yet your company keeps taking orders for them. I think this is disgusting that this is happening in our great country. I definitely do not recommend your products at this time because of the long delivery time.

On June 4, 2022, I contacted Kitchen Aid customer service to get a referral of a product to use to clean the inside of a dishwasher. We had had a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and had replaced with a new one and wanted to keep it clean.

Apparently, I wasn't talking to Kitchen Aid, but to Just Answer. They told me I would be charged $1,00 to chat with the tech and they charged my credit card that fee. The tech told me what product he recommended and we ended the chat.

I was asked at the end of the chat if I wanted to leave a "tip" for the tech and I declined since the chat was so simple and so short. 00 for 2 months for a membership in their service club, which I don't need since I have the original warranty plus an extended warranty.

Extremely poor representation of delivery time!!!! I could have had Amazon, Kohls , Williams Sonoma deliver faster! They it would deliver at the earliest with in 5 days of buying. It was IN STOCK and did not even get loaded till 10 days later.

I could have had delivered in 3 days from any of the above customers. I thought it would be better from company direct and all they did was misrepresent what they were going to do. I have to schedule someone to be there at my daughters home and not even given updates until I called and complained.

It was IN STOCK and they use FedEx. No excuses. I will never order from them again.

Purchase a highly rated microwave. Crooked door within 1 month. Service calls (3) all said door cannot be adjusted, replaced door, still crooked. Repair said poor installation. Retailer denies problem,. Now just stopped working. Repair said it is how we close the door.

I have a Kitchen aide induction range that after not quite 6 months old the lining of the oven started chipping , it also turns off periodically whilst Im cooking . Contacted KitchenAid and they sent around an engineer who advised a replacement but all KitchenAid will do to rectify the issue iOS send someone to touch up the chipped areas! 8 Cu. Ft 5-Door French Refrigerator in Stainless Steel in September of 2017. And in that time we have had to have it worked on multiple times. At one point putting $500 of our own money to have it fixed, which was not even the actual cause.

In or around January of 2021, KitchenAid stepped up and paid for the part to get it to work. And now our freezer has completely stopped working. We have no ice. And we have lost over $150 in our freezer worth of food.

After waiting for a month for the Geek Squad at Best Buy to tell us they do not work on refrigerators, we called the KitchenAid repairperson. Who came out this week only to tell us it would be an additional $700 to fix the refrigerator.

Refusing to fix the stove even though under warranty. Stating that it was consumer misuse -- appliance tech said I was cooking sugar on the stove which caused the damage.

First of all, I was not cooking sugar and secondly, it is a stove, I should be able to cook on it. If one cannot cook sugar on it in a pan, then state that sugar cannot be cooked on a stove.

Word needs to get out about these large companies mistreating customers.

Also, when they were here, told me that there was a recall for my dishwasher. If not fixed it would leak. NEVER received a notice of this. When I called, they told me they had no record that I owned this dishwasher (purchased last year) but then found it was registered under a different account with my name.

Maybe the CEO needs to be fired as he certainly is…

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher purchased Feb 14, 2017. Model KDTM354DSS4, serial number F64965711.

In early February this year it stopped working. I thought it was a valve malfunction. Valves are out of warranty at this point, so I called a licensed appliance repair company which is not a warranty provider with Kitchenaid.

The technician came today (Mar 7, 2022) and told me that it was a failure of the inlet valve (W10327249) and control board (W10854216). The total cost of the parts alone is c. $300. The control board is under 5-year warranty. Kitchenaid first told me I would have to get their own technician to re-diagnose the issue, at my expense. I have a KitchenAid oven that blows a fuse every time I use it above 425 degrees. I have replaced the fuse 4 times already. This is particularly frustrating because it is a self cleaning oven. Self cleaning certainly will not work if I cannot use it above 425 degrees.

I have tried to contact customer service via phone several times, but can never get connected to a representative. I generally wait at least 20 minutes on hold.

I cannot find the oven model number, but I will attach a picture.

Given the fact that the oven is on it's 5th fuse, can you recommend any action to correct this problem?

Temp control knobs dont have the temp or burner size indication in the same placement on each dial. To many different sequences to turn on and off a function. Short timer sound and low timer volume . Steam oven cleaner does not clean well.

Better take this one back to design. Wont be keeping it long, recommending it or purchasing more kitchen aid appliances. PS the hand mixer i bought burned out in less than a year with light use.

I purchased a Kitchen- aid refrigerator (27CR FRDR KRFF707ESS) from Best Buy on 2/12/2018. I had difficulty in opening the freeze door and in February 2020 I could not open the freeze door. I called Best Buy and they send a technician out and he spend a considerable about of time using a vaccum to open the freeze door.

The technician mention that the way the new refrigerators are made is different than in the past and therefore the design is causing the difficult. The problem recurred in 2021 and because of COVID-19 I was not able to have someone come out and open the freeze door.

C. Dicks in December of 2020. Feburary 2022 still no dishwasher (manufacture is not producing) but even with that aside my brand new oven wouldnt work from the moment we installed it. The oven would not get hot, and the light would never turn off untill it burned out 6 months later.

In that timeframe we had kitchaid send service on my oven 4/5 times before it was "resolved" so we thought. As soon as this was socalled fixed my Refrigerator that was only delivered in September stopped producing water and ice around Thanksgiving.

Terrible company, don’t buy. If you ever have an issue with anything dealing with KitchenAid look to be on the phone for hours on top of hours to only be transferred or blame put on someone else. But if they do send someone to your house to check on your product they are rude and do not like kitchenaid either. It’s mind blowing.

My refrigerator is less than 2 years old. It’s an expensive built in.

Terrible company. I bought their mixer and it died after 2 minutes of mixing eggs. I have sent it back for a replacement and they are not sending me the replacement unit. I have made about 10 calls at this point but they have still not sent me the unit regardless every time promising me to send it the next day. It looks like a fraud to me at this point. I think I will contact the consumer protection service.

Our Kitchen Aid refrigerator Model Number KRMF706EBS01 is a lemon. We have had to have this unit serviced at least 6 - 8 times in the last 4 months. We have replaced the icemaker multiple times. The two main circuit boards failed and had to be replaced.

We were out of town and came back to a dead unit. All food had to be discarded. We are continuing to experience problems with the ice maker as I write this complaint. Currently we have had to shut down the unit as the evaporator motor sounds like a aircraft engine and will need replaced.

I ordered two Kitchenaid Mixers and immediately tried to cancel the order to which they responded that it had already been filled. At that point I was informed that it would be delayed. I initiated a return and received the return labels so that I was immediately able to send them back when I got them. They were received back into your warehouse on 12/16 tracking #775438890355 and 12/17 tracking #775438890366. I was told that my refund could take up to 2 weeks. It has now been almost 3 weeks with no refund to my card. I have sent multiple emails on the chat site with no response. The hold time on the customer service phone line is 45 minutes at best! Kitchen aid products are made more cheaply than ever before. The tools on my 3 yr old stand up mixer started cracking after 3 months of use. The dials on my 4 year old stove /oven are made out of plastic on the inside.

The dials keep breaking off. We’ve been through 4 of them. 00 each. Why would kitchen aid make such cheap products?!! No more kitchen aid for me.

My kitchenaid oven has metal dials for the stove top burner controls. These dials have an inner core that breaks off easily every few months. It's a cheap plastic part inside of the metal control and I have had to order new dials every few months for about 40.00 each. I am very frustrated about the bad design and quality coming from kitchenaid brand. I also recently sent a complaint about my new, cheap kitchen aid mixer, with faulty parts and low-quality performance. I did get a reply. My dissatisfaction with these two appliances is making it so that I do not think that I will ever buy kitchenaid again. So disappointed!

If I could give you a ZERO rating I would!!! Your customer service is horrible!!! I have had a NON WORKING Kitchen Aid refrigerator/freezer for over a month. The refrig is not even 5 years old and we spent $3,000 and still under WARRANTY.

The approved repair person has been out here 5 times and basically replaced every part and it is still not working 1 month and 5 days! Not one customer service representative can help me. Something needs to be done to help the customer.

Why have a warranty in the first place. We are going into the holidays and I have NO REFRIGERATOR!!!!

On the evening of October 10, our upper oven would not turn off. The keypad was not responding. We had to turn it off by tripping the circuit breaker. I called KitchenAid for repair and was told the repairman would come Wednesday, October 13th.

We finally had a repairman show up on Thursday, the 14th. He played around turning the circuit breaker on and off and pressing multiple buttons on the panel.

Finally, he was able to get the oven to shut off but said it may fail again. He said we should just try doing the same thing he did. Fast forward to 3 days ago, the top oven would not shut off.

We attempted to do everything the repairman tried but without any success. More of the buttons on the control panel failed to respond to our touch. Again, we had to turn it off by tripping the breaker.…

I purchased the Kitchen Aid KSGG700EBS2 Black Stainless Steel Slide in Range on March 19, 2021. On July 26th, I got a code on my oven F2E1 and the oven was not working. I called the store where I purchased it and we finally found a tech to come out and look at it, he said that while he was looking on it it randomly turned on a couple times.

He said this is a safety issue and called in and the warranty department said it was a safety issue as well and would replace my Range. They said it would take 4 weeks approx to get a replacement. Well it has been going on 3 months now and I still do not have an oven.

I have called every week since the 4 week mark and 3 weeks ago today they said it was in packaging and the next week it was in shipping, yesterday i called once again and they said it…
