I have noticed that the manager of the facility, Dazz, does not seem to be knowledgeable about the proper usage of the dry sauna, as there are no rules or guidelines in place.
This has led to people entering the sauna wearing their workout clothes and dirty sneakers, which makes it difficult to breathe in the hot and smelly air. As a result, I am unable to fully enjoy the benefits of using the sauna.

I simply went to the gym Tuesday Night at 6:10PM at night October 24, 2023. Put in my things inside the locker room nothing else was inside but a key. When it was time to get my things I noticed my locker and things were gone to found out they put them at the front desk.

My problem is bad staff I usually sign in the gym is overcrowded, unfriendly staff bad customers usually aggressive. My bicycle almost got stolen la fitness did no file or call the authorities. I always come home feeling very sick to my stomach and I can not get any sleep.

At the L.A. Fitness gym on Golden Valley Road, Santa Clarita, CA the handicap shower stall has had no soap for multiple weeks. In addition, the last few weeks, the handle to turn on the shower is missing. Therefore, the shower cannot be used. People being people, many who used the handicap shower in days past when it did work, were simply the person who left the pool first, leaving someone handicapped without that advantage. My suggestions are very simple and inexpensive, i.e., 1. Put soap in all shower booths. 2. Make sure every shower has a handle to turn on the water. 3. Put grab bars (1 or 2) in each shower. Other L.A fitness locations have new up to date, state of the art equipment, where as the Bronx location still has equipment since it opened when I joined in 2014, and a lot of the machines, and cardio machines are always down and never fixed.. I have been coming to LA Fitness for almost 3 years now in Round lake beach Illinois. Lately I have been dealing with very rude employees. Based on my personal experience and reading hundreds of other online reviews it seems like a common practice for them to freeze the accounts instead of closing them then after 12 months your account can be re open and your card will be charged. 99 charges.

The one instructor at the New Lenox site is continually late. She wanders in on the dot then goes to the bathroom then fiddles with the sound system so that it is over 10 minutes late starting. On a Monday when she does back to back classes, she still starts the 2nd class (yoga) late.

I joined mainly because LA Fitness in Winston Salem had a Sauna in the women’s area now the sauna has been closed for 5 months with no real effort in fixing this problem The men’s sauna was down as well but it has been fixed . I cancelled my membership right when covid hit and this company never actually cancelled my membership but instead froze it. they kept charging me for over 2 years a fee and i never used the gym or was actually aware that it was still being charged.

A number of things. The Men's Locker Room benches have wood seats and all of them are buckling due to wet towels placed on them over the many years. If you sit on them, you will get splinters. They need to be sanded down and refinished. Also, many of the men's locker room lockers are rusting and need to be sanded down and refinished. There are cracks in the Men's shower area from guys dropping heavy weights directly above on the 2nd level. No oversight and management staff ignores it and never says anything to the people dropping heavy weights. That said, the men's locker room attendant is very professional and curious and is mopping and cleaning right out of the gate, with no oversight from management. Kudos to him.

5/8/2023 we frequent the gym weekly and today is by far the worst encounter with one of their training manager associates at LA Fitness Fairwood, Renton, WA. They have used their personal judgement to close off a section of the gym for training.
However, no policy is in writing. 95% of the time, no one is using the space and it sits vacant while members; mind you, paying members, could benefit from that equipment and space. Tonight I was racially profiled when the conversation with that training manager referred to me as "you people".

Many machines have been out of service for months! A cushion on one of the leg machines where the backs of your ankles would rest have the cushion completely eaten away and small parts of it fall on the floor after each use.
The latest is that all the machines that require pins have many of them missing. Management now requires you to sign in and out to get a pin that you have to carry around with you while using machines. This is the most poorly run gym I have ever belonged to.
In the showers every single day there are tiny little flying bugs coating the walls of every shower stall. I am tempted to contact the health department on them.

I signed up with LAFitness in February and decided to work with a personal trainer. I signed up for 6 one-on-one sessions per month at a monthly rate of 350 dollars (first and last due at sign up). Before signing the contract I asked the Personal Training manager Patrick, if my schedule would be a problem (I could only come in around 5:30/6 in the morning). He assured me that it would definitely not be a problem, pointing out that there were usually a few trainers there at that time. He set me up with a trainer and I had my first session in the next couple of days.

In January 2023 I signed up for a membership with LA fitness Redondo. The membership was done through a medical insurance company. At the same time I signed a contract for a personal trainer. There has been no issue with the personal trainer.
However with the membership the app constantly cancels then reactivates my memebership after requesting it. There is no insurance issue. The matter was investigated. The manager refuses repeatedly to fix the problem. Corporate has been contacted with no response. As long as I can access my personal trainer during the initial contract they wont see me in court.

Good morning, folks. I’m reaching out to your organization as member of your 2401 Cheltenham Ave Suite M3 Cheltenham, PA 19150 location. During the week, I’m not there on the weekends the men’s shower, and locker areas have been almost put off limits due to the cleaning staff member being a woman.
She is tasked with the cleaning of the entire men’s and woman’s locker room area which she begins a bit prior to the 5:am opening of the location meaning that the men have had to make certain notable changes in our locker room usage regarding changing and showering. Sugarland,Tx location let's a woman in the mens locker room while men are still in the locker room and many are naked. This is wrong on so many levels and some men have a busy schedule and can't even shower before work.
A few men here and there don't even care that she is there. They need to hire more male workers specifically to clean the mens area and shouldnt allow a woman in that area. She should clean the woman's area.

I want to report an issue that wasn't solved still after me calling to LA Fitness multiple times. The LA Fitness application has defects that have tobe fixed and should not be in production and affect me as a customer and others. I want this fixed in either way: 1. You are overwriting my expiration date to be the full 1 year which should be 04/18/2018, and not 6 months as it is right now. 2. Or you refund me and I open a new membership.
You can see on the screenshots that prior purchase it only shows what date the membership was expired or will expire. There is no notification or alert what the expiration date will be after renewal. And after I proceed with the payment there is notification or alert either.
