We enrolled LA Fitness and was informed about the personal training program. We was told it was going to be three times a month between 45minutes to an hour. The first time we was about 20 to 25 min. with the trainer.

The second time we was late and the trainer advise us to come back at 1:30pm. When we came back at 1:30pm the same day the trainer stated that was for next week. We know he lied because it was my husband and me telling this man yes we could come back at 1:30pm today.

He also asked if we want to let it be for next week and we told him no today was fine. The trainer said see you later. When we came back the trainer stated if was not for this week but for next week.

LA Fitness does not have sufficient free space for stretching prior to exercising. You get kicked out of what spaces the have . Because they holding classes in there. This increases chances of injury due to having cold muscles. Feel like quitting the gym

I'm visiting Melbourne, Florida with my cousin I'm a member ESPORTA in CT. My cousin is a member of LA fitness Melbourne. They tell me that I still have to pay a $10 guest fee even though I'm not a guest and I can't use my cousins membership as a guest because my club is affiliate yet they still charge the $10 and

they take it out of the account that's on file. This is not good customer service. it's almost like a bait and switch and honestly the front desk was incredibly unprofessional and very determined to get that $10. I've manage Bally total fitness, and as a general manager would always try to accommodate our guest because we believe in the word of mouth and customer service.

The pool at the facility in Sunrise Fl. Has been out of service for more than a month and today I was told it will be out of service for another 6 weeks. the problem appears to be a “motor” LA Fitness is on its way out of business, if the maintenance program is not fixed.

It appears there is no support from management. A member for more than 25 years, disappointing!!

Hello. My name is Alyena Koehler and I am currently a member at LA Fitness. I wanted to reach out to you because of a very upsetting experience that I had at your gym. I have the VIP guest pass where I am allowed to give two people a month access to the gym whether I am with them or not.

I signed two people up for a free pass and when they went to the gym they were denied access and when I talked to my gym about it they told me that they should have been let in. They went to the Playa Vista location and dealt with the manager Ariana.

Good evening. 99 and trainer with the amount of the $260. The problem is they’re taking more money from my account, like $200 more , I need to know what’s going on , I went there to the LA FITNESS located in 1625 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth GA 30096.

To ask for details and they don’t have any to answer , they said they will send email to the payement department and it will be fixed . Still no answer and nothing fixed neither had the money back .

I went to the gym today (Patchogue, NY), around 4:30pm. I go to this gym on a regular basis. I was stopped at the front desk by Samantha and the Fitness Manager. I was told that I needed to take a picture.

I explained to them that I was in a rush and would take it tomorrow. After a lot of back and forth. Samantha, accused me of arguing, which was untrue. She then proceeded to kick me out the gym. This is not how a long standing member should be treated.

I was humiliated and felt like I was being discriminated. I called member services and spoke to Kirby, who promised me that she would talk to the Operation Manager. I just wanted to follow up with this email, to make sure that this issue is addressed.

No one should go to the gym to be belittled.

LA Fitness Located 5591 Sheridan street Hollywood Florida, towed 6 cars from the parking lot without proper signage. they hired Beezy towing to tow members cars ithis is a dangerous company mistreating their customers and verbally abusing customers with bad names and then challenging them with guns.

The Managers name is Kiera. It’s 4pm on Tuesday March 14, 2032. I genuinely just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at any establishment. I’ve been with LA Fitness for about 5 years. This manger just treated me like I could not have mattered less!

She was short with answers and I needed to understand! She did not care. It was a game; especially when I requested a manager and she delighted to kill all of my hope by arrogantly stressing that she is the manager.

The other workers were nicer and more patient. Another worker at the front really cared and helped me with my situation. It was backwards. He acted like a manager. I was and still kinda am feeling like being done with LA Fitness all together.

Now over a month with no hand sanitizer. I guess it is bettter than when they put water in the machine. Could you imagine? I was outraged so now instead of filling the machine I get an out of order sign for 5weeks and counting. See image.

I go to LA Fitness for water aerobics. The steps in/out of the pool are VERY high and I cannot manage them. ) I am handicapped and use a walker. The only way I can get in/out of the pool is to use the chair.

The chair is not usable because both battery packs are not working. ) The battery packs have not been usable for a good 2 months or more; they have not been repaired (if possible) or replaced. No one at the front desk seems to know anything about the problem, nor do they seem particularly concerned about it.

The result is I cannot use the pool. This puts LA Fitness in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act!!! That is serious. I have not yet filed a complaint but am getting ready to do so since nothing is being done to correct the problem!

My daughter signed up for a personal trainer in Tacoma, Wa and was given a trainer that was incarcerated and working at the gym during the day which was not disclosed to us when we agreed to contract. As a result, my daughter was sexually harassed via text and in person with disparaging racial remarks made to her as well.

We contacted Vanessa and she told us she would talk to corporate about cancelling current personal trainer sessions and refunding our money. We have tried to contact Corey Cook who is not returning our calls and unwilling to cancel contract.

We are now having to contact Better Business Bureau and file lawsuit for sexual harassment and racial discrimination

I am writing this letter re a recent bad experience I had at LA Fitness 5915 S Golden Road, Orlando, FL branch. I have been a loyal member since early 2020 and have always enjoyed my visits to the branch.

Being a trusted gym franchise with many branches across the country, I believe in the operation standards of LA Fitness and trust that it aims to provide the best experience for its members.

However, my visit on Feb 17, 2023 proved otherwise. 10am and started my weekly routine in the pool. There was only one lane open (I was told by the water aerobics instructor, Maureen, that I could only use lane 3) and the rest were occupied by the water aerobics class.

The manager from Katy Location subed here and he is a fing idiot and a a-hole. I'm canceling the membership. Literally wasted my time. I called ahead of time and asked multiple times if we can go swimming with my child.

On 1/20/2023 after a Aqua Fit class I slipped and fell in the shower. Even with my aqua shoes on the surface was slippery from shampoo. I had to have a Trainer help get me up and she instructed me to fill out an accident report.

I had an emergency appointment with my doctor who sent me for X-rays of my back & hip. My knee didn’t swell until days later. I contacted the manager Christopher Cray for help and he informed me that your response was to have my lawyer contact you.

I have not contacted lawyers I would preferred to deal directly with you. I’m asking for assistance with my medical needs & bills.

Gym is always very dirty and half of machines don't work or don't work completely.Manager has horrible customer service.Have seen him looking very effort less every day.U spilled pre-workout due to treadmill stopping in the middle of workout.i cleaned as best I could.Told the manager and front desk.A week later still never cleaned it completely.And makes me very uncomfortable knowing there not clean there.My member ship is payed till April but already looking for a new gym.

I am being treated unfair and against the rules stated in a contract I signed with LA FITNESS/ ESPORTA. I tried to cacell the “Group Taining Session I was told only the Operation Manager could cancel the Group Training and he was not in the office.

Staff is friendly. Gym size is great. 10 of the treadmills are out of service. A handful of other cardio equipment is out of service. Coming to the gym and equipment not being available because of malfunction/service/other issue sucks. Makes me want to join another gym.

When I go to LA Fitness 4S ranch with my friends who is the active member now this morning, I want to use the try out pass to come in,but the manager Christopher Bowman said no more guests pass can be used except I apply a membership today. I said I need to try even once.

I am a been a customer of Esporta Fitness Gym in Niagara Falls at 6610 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 for several years now. On Wednesday, October 15, 2023, a DJ set up on a table at the gym and started playing music through a speaker at an extremely and dangerously high volume. I went to the table and ask to turn down the music, but the music was so loud that the DJ could not hear me and when I gestured for him to turn down the music, he pointed to the back. 7057 Mt Zion Cir, Morrow, GA 30260. The LA fitness at this location has not been without a men's sauna. No employees or manager has been able to provide a window of when to expect the sauna to be repaired and back in full operation.

The sauna has been down since early December 2022 and I've had to drive 15 to 30 minutes to the nearest LA fitness that has a fully operating sauna. I would like to know when this issue will be repaired and if there was anything that the corporate office could do to expedite the process.

I don't believe that the current management is taking the issue as serious as I believe they should. Any kind of feedback and update would be greatly appreciated.

on 2/8/2023 the staff approached an said that tonight we close at 10:30 instead of 11pm and said the reason is that if we close at 11pm then we have to wait to empty the club. I filed a complaint last night.

as i am a physician with very late and stressful hours and this is my time to unwind and exercise before i wake up again at 5am to start my surgeries followed by rounds at the hospital, then office and then on call every third night. i told him that i was told that the early closure was only for last night.

he said no, it is going to be every night. I replied that i filed a complaint last night and i will leave by the time that is posted on the door, 11pm. if there is any early closure it is usually posted well in advance on the wall, such as early holiday closure.

Your location at Yonge and Sheppard, Toronto, I was harassed by Middle East Gang Members that recently joined the gym. The owner of this location is from middle east and he has lots of staff from middle east. Now because of this there is an increase in cheap street crowd from middle east working out in this gym as they gat 50% employee discount.

I wanted to make sure you were aware of an issue at LA Fitness Signature Club, 55 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL. Last weekend, my locked locker was cut and broken into while I was working out. Cash and items were missing, and my property was a mess.

I am a regular attendee of the water aerobics class in Irving, Las Colinas, Texas. The club has failed and refused, despite visible signage, to prevent lap swimming during the only 3 hours of class we have per week. We can’t hear the teacher - fairly minor complaint.

Yesterday we had a swimmer that refused to leave, was bumping into class participants and finally gave one a black eye. He still refused to leave and “management” wouldn’t make him. That’s assault. Our class had to be canceled and he continued to swim.

We are a group of older people and, by allowing bullies like this to have their way, you are putting us in peril of injury. Our complaints fall on deaf and incompetent ears. We expect action to be taken or filing a lawsuit against the club may be our next action.

I have been attending the LA fitness in Arlington Heights Illinois since 2018. The management of the club used to be wonderful, equipment used to be clean and he used to work and if it did not work it was fixed right away.

This past year service at the gym on the equipment has been horrible. I recently changed my membership to a wellness perk through my employer to allow me to use other gyms and not just LA fitness. The comparison is my blowing.

The $10 gyms are cleaner and friendlier than LA.

I have a primary family membership with LA fitness. Later they advised to take a personal trainer for the family. I took the membership with the Rep Joseph giving me half information and completely clarifying I am getting into a contract The prime membership is not a contract.

When I signed up for the Personal training Program in August 2022, Manager Sam told me that I could cancel at any time and would receive two sessions if I register for one , and it is an hour, and this has been just lying. The trainer was always busy.

I wait around half an hour and he would come or send any other trainer for about 15-25 minutes. I have a busy schedule and this is unprofessional. I tried calling him, but he ignored my phone calls and texts.

I had joined LA fitness back in September 2022.

Also signed up for personal training. in October I became sick and wasn't able to attend any sessions. I called several times to cancel my membership, but was told I had to come in. I told them I was was unable to.

LA fitness in Towson MD is a beat venue but unfortunately very badly managed in terms of cleanliness. I have turned the attention of the managers multiple times but it’s still the same filthy place.

Also, poorly managed are the lavatories, some faucets don’t work, some don’t have soaps in them and hardly any papers to dry our hands with.

Also they should recycle plastic bottles where so many are thrown away in regular trash after drinking water.

I contacted the manager (Justin) of the Woodbridge, VA LA Fitness center in early December and have received no response to my inquiry regarding the unserviceable equipment replacement and restoration of the facility that they shut down in Nov/Dec for, only to return to new paint, same graveyard of broken and unserviceable equipment and a new strip of grass.

The workers there are great, but the facility is a disgrace, as is the manager who obviously lied about the replacements. One of the other members told me she actually walked Justin around to show him the deplorable condition of the equipment and he acted surprised.

The Instructor Wesley F. Came late and urs a known thing that he does when I asked about the class at 8:30. Last I checked it was 8:47 when he came in, didn’t apologize for his lateness and then asked for additional time to set up. He then joked with one of the women that he isn’t sober and didn’t even explain what the class it .
