Christian, at the LA fitness of Higley and Elliot basically scammed me. He called me up because I came in once on a guest pass and asked if I wanted to join because of a special of $1 and then pay the monthly fee. I directly asked him if I'd be lying the $1 and then $39 per month and he said yes, then they pulled $180 from my account because he "forgot" to mention the initiation fee and then when I noticed 8 days later all they said was sorry. I have been robbed and want my money back!

The trainer Erisema Delgado from La Fitness on West 49th Street, tried to sell me a false training plan, (without a contract) she suggested that I pay her and she trained me in the afternoon, in another gym, she told me that I should pay for a membership in another gym and she trained me there for the same price!

My complaint is about your inferior security cameras at LA Fitness on Road to Six Flags in north Arlington. OnFriday, January 6, my work van was robbed while in the lot and all of my plumbing tools, valued at over $15,000, were stolen.

My van had an alarm, locks and blacked out windows. The police made a report, but could not get any identifying information from your inferior cameras. They couldn’t even tell what kind of car it was, just a guess. Pretty pathetic.

I now have found out that lot is a high theft area. It would be nice if LA Fitness took more of an effort to protect their customers.

I’ve been coming to the location at Barker Cypress, Cypress Texas for over 7 years. Before COVID, the equipment started going down hill. They’re still to date, 01/09/2023 more broken that fictional. I’ve complained to the management locally. They do not acknowledge my complaints.

Management from LA Fitness in Hollywood, FL is doing a very bad job. I was told that the member is not allow to be at the Hollywood, FL due to a threat made to me. Already made police report. Management Joel can't do anything.

The individual came to the gym and had used profanity against the member of La fitness after advising him not to come to this location as per management. Again, management didn't do nothing, but bring problems. Reach out to corporate and spoke with Juan, not very helpful and customer service very poor

There are 20 television sets in front of treadmills. All have been switched to news or sports. HGTV is gone as well as Food Network, and classic old movies. I am a 66 year old female and I would walk for 1 hour a day enjoying a program from one of these stations.

I been trying to cancel and get a refund of my deposit for a personal trainer since 12/6. I initially signed up on 12/1 but then got news over that weekend which impacted my schedule hence why I wanted to cancel the personal trainer.

I have not been given the help I expected as a customer, I physically went into the gym 4 times and was unsuccessful in talking to the head trainer as she wasn’t in until my 4th attempt. She then proceeded to tell me I had to buy my way out of the contract because it’s been a month.

I explained to her I sent emails and never got a response, I made phone calls where my info was taking and I didn’t get a return call. I understand that schedules don’t always line up and I can only come in when my schedule allows me to.

The GM was super rude and intimidating to me. He is only 20 years and had no respect for me. He treated me like I was bagging him for services. I dont lime to go to that location anymore. He takes too many breaks and ignore concerns.

I issue concern and a sort of complaint on chemical(disinfectant) at La Fitness located, Michelle, Irvine. 5 years ago, even water quality of Spa & Swimming pool was not satisfactory with members, it was acceptable and did not make members' skin problem.

Since you hired new cleaner, I guess he is hispanic waring blue uniform, he pour chemical into spa and swimming pool too much every two days. It is causing itchy skin and skin rash of members especially for women. Several times, I and my wife reported this subject to receptionist and sometimes your manager sitting behind receptionist.

But it has not been fixed. So, I kindly ask you to check if quantity of chemical used for Spa & Swimming pool is appropriate amount legally permitted.

I go to the gym in Ocoee, Florida for a few years now. Today, I was at the gym and was asked by a woman to move from the area I was working out at because she said she has group workout there.

She said I can work out on the blue mat or somewhere else. What the hell, I’m not a child to be asked to leave an area to workout somewhere else as I’m paying like everyone else. Why was the area not corded off with a sign that 5 PM that area is needed for this group.

If I had known I would have done that area workout first. It’s the small issues that turn in big problems. I go to this gym because it’s close to my home and the staff members are very nice. I don’t know the person who asked me to move but I think she’s a trainer.

Locations address: 4400 Roswell Road, Suite 126 Mareitta, GA 30062 The arobic room has problems with the mirrors on the wall for many months now, Part of the room has been closed. And it looks like the management has no intention to fix it. It’s been several months now. No employees at this location know when the room will be fixed. Please do something about it. The equipments in this location also look old, break all the time, maybe need an upgrade as well.

I am still receiving charges from LA Fitness Blanding Blvd. Orange park Florida 32244. On my Citi credit card. I have made several visits in person ( I was told you switched management) but you would handle my problems, trying to cancel my membership.

I signed up with one of my customers Frank, I understand he is one of your officers. I have been paying for a membership for over two years without ever working out in the building. This started out just wanting to cancel I never asked for ANYTHING.

In August a membership and personal trainer program was signed up for at the a Fort Myers Gulf Stream center location. All payments were paid on time. As a result of hurricane Ian my son was forced to relocate, limited housing in Fort Myers and his job provided him a position elsewhere in the state. The closet Lafitness is 45 minute one way. So my son asked LaFitness to cancel his contract as not due to his fault but due to a Natural disaster he had to relocate. Lafitness refused and made him pay $585 to cancel his contract. Lafitness has no compassion for someone who was effected by a natural disaster. He was paid up to date.

I paid for a personal trainer and signed up while they read what I was signing without them showing me what I was really signing. I was burned.

I was told $240 x 2 for six sessions. What I signed was $240 x 6. One 20-minute session per week for six weeks.

I refuse to pay for the remaining three payments and joined Planet Fitness because of this. I've been receiving nasty phone calls and unprofessional voicemails from these employees with LA Fitness.

Don't sign anything unless they physically show you what you signing; again, I was burned. Even their website clearly shows $240.00 per month for personal trainer 20-minute sessions.

I had six (6) 20-minute sessions, and I'm being charged $1,440.00 or greater.

The purpose of this email is to address some safety and health concerns at the LA Fitness club located in Conyers, GA (1618 Hwy 138 SE, Conyers GA 30013). Just for a background, I’ve been a member of this club since it opened in Conyers and my family was very excited about joining. Our happiness about the cleanliness, affordability and accessibility last no more than three years.

The quality of service has been in decline since then. Why and what happened or what is happening? Equipment is dated, dusty and grimey; men restroom is nasty, the sauna is a health and safety hazard with broken bench, stained walls and cracked floor. Lately the LA fitness that I use felt that it wasn't important to stock paper towels in the bathrooms. They run out of paper towels at least once a week and when the staff is informed they have to apologize and I was told that they are aware of the situation but

they can't do anything to fix ir because the owner has told them to cut back on ordering the paper towels. I was told they suggested to the owner to get paperless hand dryers but the owner refused the idea and just told them to deal with it.

My son lived in Fort Myers Fl and was effected by Hurricane Ian and had to relocate out of the area due to lack of housing. His employer stepped up and got him a job in the Vero Beach area.

The closest LaFitness is approximately 45 minutes away. My son was paid to date for his membership / personal training. He had requested they cancel his membership and told he had a contract and had to pay, it didn’t matter that he was forced by a natural disaster out of his control to pay.

I went in to do an interview, I had come from a couple of previous interviews for a Personal Trainer positions, I was wearing sweats as this is what the other companies requested. When I got in to do the interview, mind you early, the Employee James that was to interview me was rude about wearing sweats to the interview for a personal trainer position.

Basically looking down on me as if I wasn't there to do the job of someone in the physical fitness area. I did not need to be humiliated or looked down on if you are going to do the job of a physical trainer you dress like one, I am not going to do training in a suit and tie.

No reason to be rude and crass about that.

We wanted to cancel our membership with LA fitness and reached out to them multiple times. The LA fitness staff first said you have to come to the Gym to cancel the membership. We went to LA fitness on Saturday and than they said we need to come only on weekday from 8-5(utter poor policy).

We both work and took time off and went to GYM to cancel our membership. When we reached they still did not cancel and filled some form for us. We waited for them to cancel and refund the money. Today I called to follow up and now they are saying we will not refund the money.

total lack of customer service. Everytime I go to the gym, something is always out of service. I go to renew my membership at gym at 9:30A and no one there that can renew my membership. Call another gym and the same thing.

No one in management there works there anymore. This is rediculous. Called two different corporate numbers before getting a hold of someone and they hung up on me. Called back again and finally got a hold of someone who can and finally renew my membership.

It's like no one that works there gives a flying fuck if anybody renews their membership. This may be the last time I renew with such terrible service. Good riddens. Hope the company goes belly up.

I scheduled my complimentary fitness assessment, the first time he was 20+mins late therefore, I refused because of his arrogant attitude and lack of respect for my time. Today I was rescheduled for the assessment and AGAIN he was late, no apology for my time wasted and the SAME arrogant attitude!! I attend LA Fitness Signature Club in Lawrence New York. I pay for a personal trainer 2x's per week for 9 months. My friend who encouraged me to cancel my other membership with my previous gym and join her at LA fitness does personal training 3x's per week.

I have complained to your front desk and "managers" numerous times about the filthy and unclean men's locker room. Floors are filthy with waste that has been there for weeks. The urinals are filthy and unclean. The Infra red heating room is disgusting with benches that are black with filth and mold in the heating coils..

I have walked around with two managers and they have assured me the these problems would be addressed. But the filth is getting worse. The workout are seems to be fine because most of the members take care and clean the equipment.

This 'Signature" club is supposed to be a showcase for LA fitness, but sadly it is NOT. Do I have to contact the health department and report this club?. I hope not. This is not rocket science to keep the locker room clean. Les Medall

LA Fitness gym here on Staten Island currently: has no paper towels in either locker room and throughout the gym except for a single dispenser; grips on machines that need repair (for months); grips completely missing from the pull up station; two steppers out of service (for almost two month); mats that are worn through to the concrete floor (for over a year); machines that squeak; machines that need belts/cables adjusted. The gym has been sorely neglected for quite some time.

It is my hope that LA Fitness takes some of the membership money that they make (there's 4 gyms here on Staten Island, NY) and put it back into the business.

More than 10 machines out of service for over a month now (from weight lifting to cardio equipment). Ever since I've been going to this gym (a few years), machines out of service, which pile up, take months to get fixed. Otherwise, the gym isn't bad, but with so many machines not workable, I'd think the rush times would be a nightmare (I work out anytime from 6am to 9am, weekdays, usually).

Called planet fitness on 9/12/2022 at 10AM asking if they had my swim trunks. The woman on the phone said yes, and I asked if I could come in the next day to pick them up, she said it's fine. I have been trying to cancel my LA Fitness Personal training account since May 2022. I have sent two letters from my Doctor to say that I am not able to engage in physical activities. I was told that the letter has to say within three months.

I again sent another letter, No one has contacted me to explain. Today I called and was told in the medical clause it has to say in excess of three months. This was not explained to me when I first signed up and I am now asking a copy of that medical clause and I was told I can't receive a copy but it can be read to me. This is so unacceptable.

So I try to check into a gym I've been going to since 2020, and this employee who noticed who I was decided to give me attitude for a comment I made about her check in policy. She gives every person who enters the establishment a very nasty attitude and acts extremely entitled when I was trying to check in this week and last week at the same gym.....
