My Jasper Rocker Recliner arrived. On day five, while in a deep sleep the chair crashed back to the floor. I banged my head to the floor, the wind knocked out of me. It was 4:00 AM, very dark, and I had no way to call for help and live alone. My diaphragm was blocking my air and I could not breathe. I was blocked in at the sides by other furnishings.
I am handicapped and 79 years old. I knew if I did not move shortly, I would die. I managed to push things beside me out of the way enough and with much struggle was able to make it out of the chair and onto the floor. It took me 45 minutes to drag my body to the next room and pull myself up on a sofa. I was grateful to be up and living.
My neighbors were kind and brought prepared dinners for me. I have severe…
