Requesting a refund and change of policy. I reserved a first-floor handicapped room for my wife, and had it substituted to a 3rd floor room which was not what I reserved or was not really for a handicap person. I suspect that handicap rooms in Marriott facilities may violate the intent of the ADA to make such facilities workable for the disabled and I want to pursue this as a separate issue from my refund request.

The bed is so high my wife had to use a luggage rack to get up into it and it was painful. She needs a walk-in type shower and I have photos I can't upload as room 328 is a short tub and is not acceptable.

I recently stayed at a resort in Cancun, Mexico. Spent over 200000 points and over 1200 dollars. From check in to check out and up to now. Ive been treated with the least amount of respect possible. Instead of marriott stepping and doing something they basically left it to the hotel and mediated everything.

My stay at the Marriott Property located @ 5614 Major Blvd Orlando, FL. was unlike any other Marriott properties. It went from bad to worse I have submitted complaints to no avail. The side entrance door stayed un useable for at least a month unacceptable and inconvenience for the guest.

Homeless people were roaming freely eating and taking the breakfast food, that was for the paying guest. If they were able to roam freely what would keep them from getting on the elevator and roaming the floors. They were sleeping on the outdoor furniture.

I know that your property is partnered with Universal Studios and I'm sure that they are not aware of what their guest are experiencing. There are drugs being sold and used on the side of the building. You have men coming up to you asking for money to…

Place: Residence Inn Anchorage Midtown. We checked in last night, 8/11/2023. The receptionist at front desk, Dawson, after giving her our confirmation number, told us we have a “shared room “! We were obviously stunned. We said “no”, we have a confirmed one bedroom suite and we do not have a shared room with stranger.

Then her response was “we don’t have any room available and I Don’t Know What To Do “!! She then proceeded to call her manager but unsuccessful. She then gave the two managers calling cards and told us to CALL THEM OURSELF! Wow! Unbelievable!

After that she then hand us a room key, and when we ask what type of room that is, she told us it’s a STUDIO! We then told her we booked for 1 bedroom suite and it’s not right to downgrade us to a studio.

This complaint is for Mariotte Hotel O'Hare.... We switched from the Mariotte Suites to the hotel because the suites did not have a pool as advertised and the other one did. The overnight costs were the same, but there were marked differences in the quality.

The hotel presented a variety of problems that make it difficult and dangerous for anyone with even a slight disability.

For example: The showers, recently remodeled, cannot be turned on without actually entering the shower and standing under the shower head BEFORE being able to turn it on. It is impossible to do so without getting wet, risking scalding and slipping.

There is no fan in the bathroom, so it stays slipper and damp. Accessing the parking lot is outdated and and ridiculous-- the little paper card does not line up with…

I reserved in advance and stayed July 28, 2023 at Fairfield Inn, Warsaw, Indiana. I ran a wedding rehearsal at a nearby lake resort that evening and checked out the next day traveling back to resort to officiate the wedding. I was unable to connect to the WiFi which was something I relied on in making choice for the reservation. I needed to do some editing on the wedding script.

I called the front desk for help. Please be aware I noticed at check in that the front desk person was taking incoming calls for reservation with apparently no one to route the calls to so she could manage the line of us trying to check in. C. this weekend(July 28-30) for a convention and when I went to check in, they had someone else's credit card on file telling me that my card declined. I booked two rooms at the Residence Inn, one for my sister, and mom, and the other for my immediate family.

I was keeping in contact with the hotel about my arrival time and my sister's arrival time since they were my guests. I booked the rooms with my credit card, and the money came out of my account, and they practically called me a liar, trying to belittle me after I showed them proof on my bank app.

My family and I were at the Courtyard in Historic Wilmington on July 22, 2023. We were using points to enjoy our long relationship with Bonvoy. The experience was lack luster from the very beginning. We could not check in online early nor could we check in early in person. We tried. When we did arrive at 4:00 pm, there were no less than twenty people checking in with one representative doing it all. The lobby AC was not working making the experience more frustrating. The valet parking only shielded three vehicles from the torrential downpour so we parked across the street at the meters. If anyone else complains about this night and that place, it is VALID.

Using the app to make reservations for Executive Apartments in Sao Paulo Brazil. i discovered 2 reservations under my name for the same dates. I applied for the cresit card and wasn’t until i received statement and seen they charged me in advance for 2 rooms.

I call the hitel 2 times and i emailed the supervisor who was notified of my calling to have this error fixed. I offered to just modify the dates and i will plan a trip to stay at a later date, however, i never received any response from the supervisor.

And each time i call the desk clerks continue to say only the supervisor. Needless to say I haven’t stayed in this place yet and already having unprofessional treatment. It’s clear to everyone that mistakes happens when dealing with computers and apps whatever real professional…

I reserved a hotel room from Marriott I changed the reservation several times months before the actual reservation. Then I canceled the reservation April 4. The he final reservation was from May 28 to June 1. I received a cancellation confirmation with a cancellation number. 87. No problem right. WRONG.

I booked a 3 night stay at the Residence Inn in Saint Louis,MO. Upon arrival I was very disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for renovation. This was the main reason I booked here because my children love going to the pool.

Only thing I could complain about my stay was that I could not ever reach the front desk by calling from my room? When I needed clean towels,I had to go all the way to the front because no one would answer?

The main reason I am contacting you, is that I had brought with me my entire collection of baseball cards, for a card show that I was attending. My boyfriend had put some of my cards in a box on the top shelf in the closet.

I booked staying at your Courtyard Marriott North/Triangle Town in Raleigh NC. through the Marriott app on my phone. I got a confirmation that I got the room. " She didn't even help m with finding another hotel. Which according to Marriott she was supposed to do since I am a Platinum member.

But on top of all that I got up this morning to find I was CHARGED for the room!! I have never been so mistreated by your hotel. And I will NEVER stay at that location again. And I will make sure no one in my company stays there either.

Springhill Suites by Marriott in Dayton . OH. I tried contacting the SpringHill Suites to confirm my reservation. The person I spoke to identified herself as Jacklyn. When I asked her for the spelling of her name she would not tell me.

I explained I wanted the spelling so that I could pronounce her name correctly. Her attitude made me angry. I told her never mind and said good bye and hungup without my information. If this is an issue. Why could she not just make up a name.

Were stayed at The Hideaway at the Royalton Cancun Riverie on April 1-8. We had booked the ocean front presidential suit so we could use the roof top patio. On our second day at the resort I was on the rooftop patio when it began to rain paint chips. The paint chips littered the rood top patio, the whirlpool, as well as the wrap around p[atio that was accessible from our bedroom and the living room.

I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. I made a reservation at the Marriot Lodge in Lake Tahoe. It was a prepay non refundable reservation for a Marriot Bonvoy member. Subsequent to making the reservation, Lake Tahoe experienced major storms, leaving 15 ft of snow.

I called customer service as I could not get through to the property and cancelled my reservation and explained I do not feel safe going. I was given a case number. I made a new reservation at a different Marriott location near San Francisco.

Letter to Marriott Regarding Hotel Stay 3/20/2023

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard St Petersburg Downtown from March 20 thru March 23. At the time of booking, the website indicated a going rate of $300 plus.

I made the reservation through the Marriott telephone number on the Marriott card. I requested that we use points for two nights and pay cash for one night. I didn’t think that would be an issue until we checked our Marriott credit card statement. There we learned that we were charged $618.62 for one night. I wish to file a complaint against your Fairfield Inn and Suites at San Francisco Airport. I have been a Marriott member for many years and carry your credit card. My wife who is 71 years old and traveling alone arrived at SFO today at around 2-3 pm.

Contacted the hotel for shuttle service. She was told the service would not begin until 5 pm. She waited until 5 pm and contacted the hotel. The weather was rainy and 20mpr winds. Hotel instructed her to go outside to a bus stop with hardly any protection and wait for the shuttle to pick her up. She did so.

When the shuttle did not show up at the time specified by the hotel, she called again. Was told they could not pick her up until 7 pm due to heavy traffic. Traffic and bad weather I understand, what I don't understand is the abandonment…

We have vacation club points that will be expiring on 7/2/23. My husband is currently being treated for cancer and Marriott will not extend the points for 5 days so we can use them for a vacation tour. This is the most pitiful company I have ever dealt with.

These are our points that unfortunately could not be used due to illness. We will be doing our best to make sure everyone knows how heartless Marriott truly is. We pay them thousands of dollars a year in maintenence fees and we are basically told tough luck, get some golf certificates.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Marriott. So disappointed in the whole scam.

Called Courtyard New York queens directly to book under group room block rate. I hear her fine but she said I’m coming in and out. That’s fine, so I had to repeat things twice. She was getting impatient. When I repeat my credit card info.

I checked into the Delta hotel in Oklahoma City, OK. The lady I was working with put the rooms on her company card. I put my card for incidentals. When I was checking out the front desk clerk said I needed to pay like $700.

I informed them a company card was used on file. She said she didn't have it. So I called Karen to give her the card number. She said she couldn't do it over the phone. This finally got resolved later but now my card is being charged $122.

Would never stay at another Marriott hotel again!!

I am spending two nights at The Courtyard Marriott in Deucator Georgia. I returned to my room after first day out to find the bed unmade , the garbage still in the garbage cans, the bathroom not cleaned and the dirty towels on the bathroom floor.

Went down to front desk, because the phone was never answered, to find out that there is no maid service. The front desk was surprised that the towels were not changed. There was no information anywhere to be found informing us of this policy.

I am very disappointed in the service. Will think about another Marriott stay long and hard.

I was placed in Room 333. I did not know the room above me was having construction done. I called the front desk to complain and that’s when Tony the front desk agent informed me the room was under construction and that they will be done by 4pm.

He did not apologize or offer to move me. He was the Agent that checked me into the room so he was well aware of what was going on. I am a Night Auditor at the Fairfield Inn and Suites of Berwyn.

Even though I work for Marriott I treat all members with RESPECT and would never assign a room to anyone under the room that’s being worked on. My stay was for 3 days and he really expected me to have a nice visit with construction going on above me.

The staff at the courtyard by Marriott in Agoura hills, CA 91301 harassed me, and then lied about it. The hotel Manager, Josh Lopez, lied about an the incident. Josh Lopez brought up issues with water (which he never told me was complimentary) and housekeeping (they woke me up everyday for 6 months, even after I told him not for them to wake me up).

The supervisor Jeffrey cussed me out for over 3 mins straight at the front desk, and the hotel manager, Josh Lopez, lied about the incident and painted me in a negative light to save his and Jeffrey’s job

I booked and fully paid for a suite for two couples, 6 nights at the Marriott Isla Verde. I then alerted the hotel, by email to their active and working email address set up to field inquiries from incoming guests, that (1) our second couple would be arriving much earlier in the day than we were, and (2) offered to call the front desk with my credit card number so that the second couple could check in when they arrived. That email was ignored by the hotel.

Three days later, when the second couple arrived, the front desk denied them checkin even after they offered their own credit card. We are here for a dance competition at Tacoma trade center in Washington. Rainbow dance competition. We had a break in dance so came over to have food at the Marriott . We were sat no one came over got our order so we asked for someone to come!

Our server was so incredibly rude! They had so much attitude how they spoke to us how they dismissed us and just straight rude . When I asked his name he didn’t even skip a beat like he truly gave two cares in the world! His name was fletcher.

I stayed in residence inn costa mesa confirmation 97013357 from 15-17 Jan. on the 16 Jan I went to the hot tub at the facility around 9 and got off around 9:30pm. After I came back to my room, my skin felt irritated instantly. Itchy and reddish appeared.

I soaked my swimsuit in the sink while I jumped in shower. After I came out the water in the sink turned to yellow-ish. I called to the front desk and they mentioned it may occurred by the rain and messed up the chemicals in the tub.

I stayed from 12/23 to 12/24/2022. Due to their systems being down the charged me for 3 days. The overcharge, caused my account to over drafted, and they will not refund any of my funds.

Also, the VP of Regional Operations insulted me and said that I must not had money at the time of stay to cover incidentals, which I had way more in my account of check in to cover the stay, incidentals etc. Then she also stated that one charge could not have possibly caused that much in over draft.

I had to explain to her I follow a strict system and any unauthorized transactions will affect my account, and point blank they over charged me which caused a snow ball affect in my account.

My mother stayed the Courtyard by Marriott (1920 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106) She stayed over a week at their hotel. On December 25, 2022 my mother left her hotel at 10am and by the time she came back at 3:30 pm her bracelets were stolen from her room.

We contacted the front desk. Was told because it was Christmas there was no manager on site. Was given the name of Sharon Walker as the person to talk to. I contacted Sharon Walker and went to her office. She stated that someone did go into my mother's room but there was no way her staff would steal.

I stayed at the residence Inn on Siegel Lane In Baton Rouge from December 4 to December 17. The hotel is an older residence in and in bad need of an upgrade an overall cleaning. Other residents hands that I have stayed at are extremely clean have a nice smell and are kept in better condition.

The front desk could have been friendlier especially in the evening time when returning to the hotel I would rarely get acknowledged coming in the door. The amenities need a complete overhaul the laundry room is very old, very dirty and not all the machines worked.

The fitness center is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. They had two treadmills, no free weights and one of the piece of equipment was broke . During my stay there the weather was in the 80s and the Jacuzzi was broken.

I have been staying at the Sheraton since Tuesday with no hot water or AC. We keep hearing that an engineer is working on an an issue with no response. Additional the front desk staff is horrible they are inexperienced and are pointing towards a GM that is never onsite.

I have stayed at this hotel previously and never anything to complain about. This time i checked in and went to the room to find that there was NO HOT water to shower. The same occurred in the morning of departure. This information would have been useful that your team to repair the issue timely. I would have checked into one of your other hotels nearby. I would like compensation for the inconvenience this has caused.

My wife and I were guests at this hotel from 11/23/22 thru 11/27/22, and stayed in room 367. We found the accommodations to be less than satisfactory. The bedding was to small for the king sized bed. It appeared to me that the king sized bed was made with queen sized sheets.

The bedding would dislodge from the mattress an end up in a ball at my feet. On 11/25/22 we were subjected to children running in hallways and being very noisy. At 11PM we contacted the front desk. The noise continued and we called the front desk again at 12AM.

A third call was made at 12:30 AM.

Finally at 12:40 AM I went to the front desk and complained in person. It appeared to me that nothing was being done to alleviate the situation. They offered to allow us to move to a different room,but being it was 1:00 AM I…

We've stayed at the Towne Place Suites in York PA whenever we were in town for well over 12 years, sometimes for as much as 10 days at a time. We even stayed during the heights of the pandemic and understood then why there were limited services.

) all of which were a major disappointment! I am a TITANIUM member with Marriott for over 26 years but could not get early check-in. I was put in the smallest, most poorly equipped room (408) there that I've ever seen.

I made trip after trip down to the desk to collect a luggage rack (none available), some hangers, more towels, some silverware, a blanket. It was exhausting! ), dishes, blankets, hangers, etc. I am mortified that my family had such poor services.

We will NEVER stay at that hotel again and I can't help but wonder WHY Marriott would…

I stay in townplace suites several times a year for weeks at a time I was there 3 times for a week or 2 in past few months we get a corporate rate for toledo refinery I was there I had to leave to go to Illinois for a week so I checked out after the week was coming back so I called hotel the hotel clerk had all my information she told me everything was the same for me to come back so

Hotel staff was very nice. My issue was my truck got broken into on there parking lot, close to the hotel. It got reported to the staff around 8;30 on Friday night. No one took the time to notify me that this had happen.

I found out when I went to my vehicle on Saturday afternoon. When I checked in I was asked what a drove and what color my vehicle was. When I asked the manager why they didn't contact me about it he replied that they didn't write down the information.

If this is the case why was I asked for it at check in.

Also after talking to the police they told me that this was a frequent occurrence with the gangs around the hotel.

I have an issue with a Marriott property changing my rate in the middle of my stay without discussing it with me. I complained to customer care and they told me how the property should not do that. Later I received an email from the property stating they were not changing it and customer care responded with an email stating they didn’t see an issue with them saying no. What??? This is a joke. The properties think they can just do what they want because no one is holding them accountable.

There was no pricing error. They changed the rate to whatever they wanted to.

Cancelled a reservation a month and a half before going. At Aloft Harlem. 00 for room. 00 for a reservation i never made. Noone reached out from marriott. 00 got insufficient funds charges from my bank and noone gives a damn.
