Requesting a refund and change of policy. I reserved a first-floor handicapped room for my wife, and had it substituted to a 3rd floor room which was not what I reserved or was not really for a handicap person. I suspect that handicap rooms in Marriott facilities may violate the intent of the ADA to make such facilities workable for the disabled and I want to pursue this as a separate issue from my refund request.
The bed is so high my wife had to use a luggage rack to get up into it and it was painful. She needs a walk-in type shower and I have photos I can't upload as room 328 is a short tub and is not acceptable.
