I scheduled message at Lexington sc message envy for 2/22/2025 @ 12pm. I arrived 15 mins early to check in At check in I was told my time had been adjusted to 12:45. Then I was told to move the appointment would be a charge of 50% more.

As a penalty to me. The card I had from message envy was written out for 12pm. I was told they moved the time because the girl scheduling the appointment was new. Not my fault. I am very disappointed with this service and the idea of an additional charge for their mistake.

I would like to have today’s appointment comped and refunded. This caused med stress and I had a problem with being late to another appointment. 00

I had a 90 minute massage at South Park, PA, a $125 gift certificate and $93 of my own money. It was by far the worst massage I have ever had and I have had a lot. The therapist talked and laughed the whole time, it was the opposite of relaxing.

And I feel he said inappropriate things, not sexually to me personally, but about what other clients have said to him that were sexual in nature. I want a complete and full refund. I do not necessarily want this person to be fired, but maybe more training.

I get a massage to relax in the quite. Oh, also when we first stated he said "Well they gave me the crappy room" like I want to know that I was so unimportant and got stuck in the crappy room?!

I am very satisfied with the service I get at Massage Envy in Massachusetts what I'm not happy about is the $25 increase going from 65 to $90 a month so that means I will be walking away from Massage Envy this is way too much money and I know everybody else is getting 90 100 up to $150 an hour so would this big increase it takes away from the people that really need it and I'm very disappointed in this

I was overcharged for services; I have attempted to reach out to the store manager on numerous occasions but according to the representative she is not there and hasn't returned my call. I had a free coupon for a stretch session, they took the coupon and took 30 minutes off my monthly session.

I attempted to explain this several times to no avail. I was overcharged for a rapid tension session as well; again I had a coupon and was charged. I need refunds for both. Thanks.

I opened my account 6/27/2023. My husband broke his hip 6/28/2023. I have not been able to use my massages since then. My credit card was recently compromised and I am waiting for a replacement card which should be here within the week.

I tried to schedule a massage being that I have not used any massages for three months due to my husband's hip fracture. Although those three months of massages have been paid for, Massage Envy is holding them hostage until my card comes in and refuses to schedule even one massage.

If I am not contacted immediately to schedule one of the massages that I have paid for I will definitely not renew this series of massages with Massage Envy when my current contract is up. I do not think this policy gives your customer the feeling you have their best interests…

I have been a member of massage envy for a number of years. My initial site was with Lake Grove. I was notified that the Lake Grove office was closing. Since I live in Bayside I submitted a request to change to the Bayside location.

I have had two accounts for the Last 12 years. I have 25 and 28 credits on each account . For the first 10 years I was able to make appointments for six months out and never missed one. Now when I try to make an appointment with the same therapist I have used for all 12 years they tell me she is booked.

So when I say ok start booking me in December for 2 hour massages I am told they cannot open the book that far out. So last time they said they would call me when the schedule opens up. No one called me and when I called my therapist was booked up and they would not open up the schedule past that time.

Probably one of the worst experiences. Imagine you walk out after a relaxed massage and you have untrained and rude staff trying to upsell you "hard" for a membership... After you tell them many times, no they hit you with $115 massage charge (by the way the massage was sub par), advertised price on the website is $65, and no I have not been there before.

They are very sneaky and not upfront with their pricing, not a good way to run a business. It almost felt like they were attempting to create drama, so they can gossip about it later. I came there to relax, I ended up leaving stressed out. Just horrible ...

I have left the USA in March 2022. have tried to cancel my Massage Envy membership multiple times and filled in the correct forms and emailed them with the correct signed forms. There has been no confirmation of receipt and every month my card is being billed despite me not even being in the country. RE: Massage Envy, Clinic #0024, South Tampa, FL. Sir/Madam, I have just returned from a massage at the above noted clinic. my massage therapist, Mary, did an A+ job as always and has nothing to do with my issue. I was on monthly billing for massages but do not use them regularly.

I currently am on a freeze program and am trying to use my built up massages for my wife who is an active regular member and utilizes both massage and facial. I had been on a freeze once before and was able to just give my wife any amount of hours I chose to.

Massage Envy Tiffany Plaza in Denver has cancelled 6 appointments in the last several months providing less than 15 minutes notice often, so once I have arrived I see the cancellation. Staff never apologizes and the manager, whom I asked to notify me as soon as they were aware of a provider not being there, ignored me.

I plan to quit as soon as I can figure out how to do so without leaving them with any extra money. Apparently you can't use the credit unless you are a member.

Do not sign up for any memberships! My husband got me a membership as a gift. Multiple locations are under staffed and I'm on hold for over 10 minutes trying to book a message. I finally got someone on the phone and their phones weren't working and hung up on me.

It took a few hours to get someone on the phone. I finally canceled my membership and they will not refund me the two months of unused messages. This place is unprofessional and its a scam.

I have hundreds of dollars of credits since my Laguna Beach location closed and I have not been able to use them. I've called two other ME locations and neither can access my credits. I was told these credits were good at any location nation wide.

I have not been able to get a response from anyone and the local offices just tell me their computers cannot access that information. I also paid $5 to the Chat service your site directed me to. All they told me was to contact Massage Envy.

This is a circular problem with no end. HOW DO I USE MY CREDITS????

I had an appointment schedule with a certain massage therapist around the end of July and Massage Envy called to cancel this appointment as the Massage Therapist was sick and they were going to call and re-schedule my appointment. I waited for about 2 weeks and no one called.

I called today and spoke with a representative who informed me that the massage therapist is out of work for at least 6-12 weeks. Now, I am a paying monthly member, paying for a membership and I am not receiving the services. I canceled my membership!

The lack of communication and un-professionalism is really sad!. They could have at least called this massage therapist's clients and explained the situation and communicate this with his clients, but instead, they just want to take our money and leave us in the dark!

I gave Massage Envy of Bartram Park Jacksonville, FL 1 star because there is no way to give a negative star. I have been a member of this "Wellness Center" for about 10 years. The first 5 were great. The therapists have always been good, when you can actually get an appointment, and the front desk kind and courteous.

The management and business practices however are abysmal. ME was found guilty in a class action law suit regarding fees and contract issues a few years ago and still charged me for things I never contractually agreed to. I should not have to remind a business taht I am not obligated to pay such fees and prices every time I go in for service to get my contractually agreed upon pricing.

Paid for a 60 minute facial. Sat in the waiting “tranquil” area for 20 minutes. Then got taken back to get facial , sat and talked about facial. I’d do in totality, the facial was at best 30-40 minutes. 20 minutes shy of the 60 minutes I paid for .

On June 6, 2023 I booked a 90 minute massage at the Hastings Ranch Pasadena location, using a gift card that my husband purchased for me back in October 2022 for my birthday. The massage started off wonderfully, then, about 45 minutes into the session, the fire alarm went off in the building.

The massage therapist, Corey, mentioned that this happens all of the time and he usually stays and continues unless they come and knock on the door. I went in for my first ever facial for a special event. I wanted a basic facial for an entry price of $75. Based off of concerns rased I was offered a chemical peel facial for an upgraded price of $30 which brought the total cost to $105.

I was quoted this price by the esthetician who completed my facial. When the service was over and I went to pay I was told it completely different price for this facial the price of $130. I was completely taken aback by the misinformation and dishonesty regarding cost of services.

I had 2 chemical peels done with massage envy. The first one I got done I did not peel at all. The second time I went I explained to the girl that I did not peel at all the first and that I get these done all the time and never had any issues peeling in the past.

The girl advised me she would use something stronger and I would definitely peel this time.

However I did not peel again. I have tried to contact a manger several times with now success. Instead they had me to talk to the estician who tried to tell me you don’t alway la peel with a chemical peel.

I visited the Massage Envy on 4/15/23 located at 2880 E Germann Rd in Chandler, AZ. The massage therapist was named Tim. The purpose of my massage was to focus on my lower back. For 90 minutes Tim focused on every area but my lower back.

After the massage was over, I mentioned that he never touched my lower back. He stated that because I had on waist beads (they can be removed or raised) he couldn't massage my lower back. When asked why he didn't say anything, he sated that Massage Envy policy would not allow him to say anything to me.

Needless to say, I was very disappointed because the entire reason I went to get a massage was to have my lower back focused on. I also paid for EMT enhancement and I honestly do not that that was included.

I have been unable to get an appointment for 10 months with the therapist I see at this location. I hav tried other therapists but they are not properly trained to meet my needs and was I injured by a therapist at another location that the owner reserved me with knowing my medical needs.

I have tried to contact the owner and she has refused to take my calls. At this time my only recourse is to dispute the charges and post negative reviews. This is appealing and not the way a business should run itself.

I have attended the Lakeland Florida location and I came in contact with the location manager Nancy . She is rude absolutely disrespectful. I ended up dealing with the front desk supervisor I don’t really remember her name. It started with a J she helped me.

I am from out of town and a friend scheduled a 90 minute massage for me because I was recently in an auto accident and after a 10 hour drive to Bloomington, MN I needed some therapy. My appointment was for 10:30.

I was on my way to the Bloomington Massage Envy and called to verify I was heading to the right place but I couldn't get an answer. So, I called another one, in Edina, wherever that is and they said I am scheduled with them.

I have never been treated with such disrespect in a place of business in my life. They got so disrespectful with me. They asked me to leave their facility and without refund. I. Don't think I have enough time or space to go into details.

I phoned the ME location that I have a membership at regarding the incentive for referring a friend who after one session joined and was told that there is no longer an incentive. My concern with the response is that is not what the advertisement indicates and I shared that.

I was asked what the advertisement indicates which I found to be an interesting question and I proceeded to share what the establishments site says and she indicated that that promotion is not in existence. That is misleading and false advertising.

I have been a customer with Massage Envy for over 10 years. Recently, I gifted a massage to my daughter for her birthday. She was really excited and looking forward to this massage. It was her only request for her birthday which is on March 2.

First of all the masseuse was 7 minutes late. That’s fine. I figured we’d be 7 minutes later then. Then we get into the room and she asks me questions and goes over my personal information. That could have been done ahead of time but that wasted another 5 minutes.

Then she gave me several minutes to change. By the time she fixed all the sheets for another 3 minutes, dimmed the lights, moved the bed to the height she wanted, my massage was about 35 minutes. She didn’t go into more time and ended early.

The whole massage itself was 35 minutes not 60 minutes. I think it is false advertisement if you are going to charge people for a 60 minute massage when there is so much time wasted and the massage itself is about 30-40 minutes.

This is the worse company and service ever.

First, I did the enrollment over the phone, however, she didn't say anything about the contract for a year, I was told about the contract when I went to the first appointment. For one of the appointments they charged for the service, but they didn't have all the products for the service (chemical peel).

I asked for the cancelation form, they stated I have to wait until the contract expired, which means they will continue charging for the service. They charge 75 for the membership, however, if the service is 65 they will charge the entire 75 instead to apply for the next month.

I called on Thursday and left a message during business hours to cancel and appointment on Saturday. I received no call back and call twice on Saturday and left voicemail on before the store open and again 3 hours before the appointment to try to reach some and left another voicemail with no reasons back.

I had an missed appointment yesterday and was called 10 minutes after the consultation started. They did sent out a reminder out in advance and I didn’t respond to it. So today I contacted the manager of the Robinhood road in Winston Salem NC where the appointment. The first two questions I asked were the following:

1. Wasn’t a response needed from the client to Massage Envy so to true up the appointment 15 minutes prior and she stated the Answer was no. It was during Covid so that was dropped.

I booked a month prior and you are going to tell me the morning of you can’t honor my appointment? This is a game for your guys because it’s really starting to become a habit at oak lawn. And when you call to speak to the manager they do not care please train your staff better in customer relations and in accountability.

What a horrible business culture you allow to go on at the oak lawn location.

I have been a loyal customer for a couple of years and have a membership. I was a little disappointed with their current service. I had something added to my work schedule requiring me to cancel my massage on the same day but contact them immediately as soon as they open.

They told me I will have to pay still half of the cost. I asked them if they could make an exception once, and the person said no. I told her to please cancel my membership. I did not feel valued as a customer and had no flexibility. The person responded sure, and we can cancel your membership. That made me more upset that they did not even care or try to work something out. I decided to cancel the membership, and the person said it was done, but I never received a confirmation email.

Hello, I am writing to express my concern and disappointment with my massage service today.

Firstly, the address that was provided on the website/app is not the correct address and leads you to an indoor mall on the wrong side of a massive parking lot. After spending 5 minutes searching for the location in the mall I tried calling massage envy to help me find the place but no one answered my calls. Eventually I found out that the store is actually on the other side of the lot from where the address takes you and I had to walk for about 5 minutes to reach the location. At this point, because of the incorrect address and lack of response to my calls, I arrived for my massage 5 minutes later than my scheduled 1pm appointment. I’d give a zero if I could. I cancelled before Christmas, the dead line was January 1, 2023. Massage Envy still charged me $80 on January 12, 2023.
