00 charges I cant and wont use, I asked her to send me a copy of my signed agreement, and she said the branch had owner changes so they probably have to go back in paper files and find it but that she could send me a blank massage envy policy - I told her no the blank one isnt what I signed and its highly likely its not going to state that their policy is to not be able to refund me for unused credits when I requested them to be refunded right away, she said she would look into it and

Had a couples massage booked for myself and my wife for her 50th birthday. When I booked it I was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem being that I booked it on Jan 1st and that they were fully staffed.

We got a call from the Corinth Tx location telling my wife that her therapist had to cancel due to the fact that she couldn’t find a babysitter and that her massage was canceled. If this was the first time this had happened it might be understandable but it isn’t.

I canceled my membership a year ago or so because of the same issues. Then she proceeded to tell us that we wouldn’t be charged for cancellation for me. I’m sick and tired of this. No back up therapist for issues like this.

) wait. That was not my expectations when I bought the for card. And it’s very disappointing. They sell these gift cards with their $20 promo crap and they don’t have the staff to handle the appts. Nobody buys a gift card for somebody thinking they won’t use it until 2 months down the road.

I have been trying to get out of my membership for a couple of years...there seems to be no way out with out losing money..I have now accrued 12 massages after putting the service on hold at $10 a month, then automatically it went back to accrued again. I can not use that many in 60 days. I wanted to give them away...oh only 1 per month ...I am trapped and no one cares at all....they are like, well that's the way it is...too bad

Rude receptionist and manager. The owner does not respond to messages. My appointments are canceled abruptly every single month!! Their staff have been quitting on them and they can't get anyone worth the money!! They can't even reschedule and I have accumulated credit because I can't even use my membership since I can't book an appointment.

When I approached the manager she very rudely told me it is what it is!! And the owner refuses to even respond to me!! This is not the service they advertise when they want to lure you in to sign up for a full year membership!!

And I can't even get an email address to complain about this franchisee!!

From May 17, 2022 until September 15, 2022 my sessions were repeatedly cancelled , many times at the last minute with no compensation. As such I have cancelled my membership. I would consider rejoining, however without any promise of compensation I am not sure I will.

I have been a member for over 10 years, and this last year was the worst experience I have had with the Eastvale location.

Corporate needs to get the branches under control. The quality of services poor, The expectations for each individual location is poor which results is a negative reflection on the corporate business. These are franchises and there is supposed to be a certain level of consistency and organization between all of them.

I have not seen that in the multiple locations that I have experienced. Difficult to schedule appointments and a corporate customer service that seldom exists.

I have been planning to cancel my membership because my job is being eliminated at the end of the year. I was told that I needed to cancel no later than 10 days from the billing date and that all my sessions needed to be used or I would lose them.

My billing date is the 29th. I used my last session on the 17th and let them know I needed to cancel. I was told at cancellation that 1) I would have 2 months to use any unused sessions. (It took me two months to use what I had and I find out I didn't need to do that??!!) 2) Watch for an email regarding cancellation. Two days later I call because I haven't received the email and I am told it is too late to cancel without being billed for Dec.

I am a member but due to lack of appointments when I have availability, even planning 2 weeks in advance, I have 41 massages built up. Yes, 41!

I have not canceled because canceling would cause me to lose all 41 massages.

When talking to a lady on the phone, she abruptly but me on hold in the middle of my sentence. Unfortunately the next person could not answer any of my questions but told me that I could pay an additional 10 a month for 6 months to hold me account!!! Really, give Massage Envy more money.

I feel customer service and availability lack what is needed to give clients what they deserve and pay for.

OMG! I called this place who automatically renewed my membership without me asking or sighing anything that authorized them to do so. I explained that my mom had passed due to covid and I had taken on a new 10 year old in addition to my own 3 kids and self care had not been a priority, They agreed to cancel my membership and advised how many sessions I had available.

I canceled my session in October. At the time they had only 1 therapist that I enjoyed. I was open to others but as quick as they start they were gone. I wanted to continue with the therapist I had and man an appointment for the next and only available date.

I rescheduled my appointment, it was not taken care of. I was charged on my credit card as a no call no show! That isn’t correct. I spoke to Brittany at the Ballantyne location, she was rude and not helpful.

I was told Tom Shermer would call me back to resolve, his number does not work and I have yet to hear from anyone! I wanted to rebook an appointment and obtain a refund, I already purchased a gift card, but there was noone to assist.

I got a message from massage envy saying that an appointment is available due to a cancellation and I replied to it and then received a message from massage envy that my appointment is confirmed. I went to the massage envy center in Overlake Bellevue WA and the lady there tells me that someone else is booked for it. It was extremely inconsiderate of the massage envy staff, they didn’t even apologize, it was a complete waste of time for me.

After 13 back and forth emails proving that I called to cancel a 90-minute session and changed it to a 60-minute session on the same originally scheduled day but at a different time. After an exhaustive back and forth, I cancelled my subscription to the Arlington Height Massage Envy in Arlington, TX.

I only give a 2 because it's the management at Arlington Heights Massage Envy in Arlington, TX, not the massage therapist.

After an exhaustive 7 email back and forth, the manager (Angelika) and her supervisor chose to be unjust by not refunding me for a session they claim was not cancelled. Yet, I sent the screenshots of my call to them to change my appointment from a 90-minute session to 60-minute session two days prior to the originally scheduled session. i have been a member with massage envy for over 2 years at the sunrise and swan location in tuscon az. there is a new manager there now and he is inept. like a bull in a china shop. no personality whatsoever.

what is worse, every time i call there he is always by himself and can't talk or solve problems. i called on nov 27 about an error with my scheduled appointment and when i saw him on nov 29 he didn't remember.

I went to your Clearwater Florida location for a massage. 00 After the massage, the location has 2 money payment machines. 1 for the service and a 2nd one for the tip. I wanted to leave $50 total for the service and a $9 tip.

the girls at the location said you can use the 2nd machine not explaining it to me that this machine was for the tip. 93 for the entire fiasco. 93 provisional credit. 93 because when Chase called to investigate, Massage Envy said it was a "Valid" charge.

I was a member of massage envy. Loved it, always had a great massage. One day I got a phone call telling me that my debit card had expired. I told the girl that I had received a new debit card however I lost it within the first couple days and had already ordered a new one.

As soon as I got it, I stopped in to massage envy to give them the new info. The lady working the front counter told me I would not get back my earned massages! I could not believe it, she never once asked my name or looked at my account.

Obviously I’m still upset about it and just now thought of contacting corporate. It’s not like months had gone by- I literally stopped in less than one month. I would love to be a member again but I didn’t want to rejoin after that.

I just didn’t think it was fair.

I've had the membership for almost a year. I've been trying to cancel my membership since July because of lack of ability to get appointments and staff. The store actually cancelled 2 appointment AFTER they were booked. Once while we were n the way there, after driving 45 minutes.

I have been a member for years. They never have a therapist available at the 5201 Hwy 6. Missouri City. Texas location. As a result, I have a lot of unused credits/ visits/ sessions. I pay for my membership in a timely fashion.

However, I called Friday morning to make an appointment for a massage, I was informed that my membership was canceled in July... So I asked Donna if they canceled my membership because they did not want to honor my unused credits.

Donna said she would speak to her manager and call me by 4 pm. No one called. I may be forced to get my lawyers involved. They ether give me back all my money for services not rendered, or render my services!! That is very dishonest!!!

I have about 11 unused membership credits that I can’t use because my local massage envy locations are under staffed and half the time can't even take a call. Recently, I called the closest 4 locations. One had an appt mid day in the next week.

The next had one 3 weeks later and the last 2 were only able to book 4 months later. How am I supposed to use these if I can't book for months.

Also, I work full time and don't have the luxury of doing a massage during the day. I want a refund, can’t seem to get a manager or franchisee on the line, and corporate will not return my calls.

Very shady business practices occurring here. Cancelled my membership there in May 2021. A month later realized membership was not cancelled, so cancelled it again. Fast forward to July 2022, I realized that they hadn't cancelled my membership in 2021 like I requested twice and had been continuing to bill my HSA acct.

Called again to cancel and get reimbursement for all charges. I was told they couldn't reimburse all charges. When I complained, they stated that "someone from corporate" would call me back to help resolve the issue. 3 months later and many more phones call attempts to them and messages sent to their online portal, and nobody has ever attempted to call me back to correct the issue.

I received a gift certificate from my colleague/work team. After rescheduling, I was finally able to get an appointment on Sunday, Oct 9th at 3pm at the Massage Envy-Duke Street (Alexandria, VA) location. I arrived at 2:45PM and handed the girl at the desk the printed out gift certificate that was given to me by my colleague.

She asked if I had an gift certificate or if the credits had been transferred to my name. I said I did not know and gave her the member's name. She looked into the system and said she did not see anything.

I recently ran into issues with my membership which stemmed from my bank card being cancelled due to imy information being stolen from me.

I was attending the store in Charlottesville, Va at the time and used my credit card as a temporary payment because I had nothing else at the time due to my bank card being compromised. I made it very clear that it was a one time charge to the manager, Christina, and more on her in a minute.

I have gone to the Pickerington, OH Massage Envy for years. I started going to Massage Envy in Sacramento, CA before moving to Ohio.

I love my massage therapist, Kirk, and the front desk is impossible to deal with. I have complained multiple times but nothing changes, so I will try to use up all my massages and end my membership.

The most recent issues are that when I called to schedule an appointment two days ago and left a message, I didn't get a call back. I then called back and when I asked for a 90 min session, she indicated that it would be from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. I get there is time on either end for dressing and undressing, so that would mean you end up with 15 min over a 60 min. Now that I have seen all the horrible reviews for this location online, I assume you are not surprised to get my complaint. Albuquerque, NM, North Towne location on Wyoming Blvd - It was disappointing because in the past I had a good experience - and even left a good review.

But, after they pulled a "bait and switch" with a coupon - I will warn everyone to stay away from here. The coupon offered a bottle of free "rejuvenating serum" with the purchase of a chemical peel which costs 2 credits, or $140 dollars.

I am disappointed in the appointment process. When I worked in hotels, it was common to overbook rooms. I believe a similar practice has been exhibited at the Massage Envy Potomac Yard location.

A September 14th appointment for my girlfriend was initially for 3:30pm. Massage Envy then texted 24 hours before her appointment telling her the therapist’s schedule changed and her appointment would be moved to 3:00pm. At 2:22pm the day of the appointment, she received a text saying the therapist had an emergency and would not be in the clinic, so the appointment was cancelled and they said they would call the next day (15th) to reschedule. The Massage Envy of Rogers, Arkansas doesn’t have the number of therapists to service their membership. Although they receive payment every month, and getting an appointment is 2 months in advance, credits pile up. This creates a situation beneficial only to the owners.

The member can’t use credits unless the account is active, but who wants to lose the credits that have already been paid for? This is Massage Envy policy in Rogers. They allow new memberships, and they know they cannot provide services.

I created a schedule in August to use up my credits and get even by the end of October. Today I was told the credits were no longer available. So I cancelled my membership, but they don’t care. They already got my money.

I am still in disbelief on how rude and unprofessional Sheila the front desk in the Wayne location was to us today. I had booked an appointment for 2 facials for me and my mom and we had to wait a whole month for this, not to mention my mom had to drive a long time to get here and the time we put aside for this.

To our surprise, when we got to the spa this employee got extremely confrontational on how we made a mistake and that there was nothing she could do. She never apologized or even cared at all. On the opposite, she stated that she booked that appointment herself and that she would not make a mistake, and on top of that, she gave us an attitude the whole time stating “well what do you wanna do, you can leave, or you can reschedule”.

With a little to no help from their manager the front desk/phone staff is ill supported and ineffective in resolving issues. I had gotten a massage in December of 2021 after writing a poor 3 star review I received a called back from the manager who then offered me a 30 minute facial credit that I could use at another time.

I have 2 gift cards totalling $350 that are admittedly older (purchased a while back) but now that I am trying to use them it appears they have switched systems and the new cards have different numbers and they won't honor them. I think that's not an approach that feels like it has much integrity to it when the gift cards are touted for purchase with no expiration date.

During the pandemic, we had the option of continuing to pay our monthly fee or to stop it. Wanting to support Massage Envy, I continued with the monthly payments, even though I couldn't get a massage. Now I find myself with almost a year of credits, and I wanted to put my membership payments on hold for a while to catch up.

I was angered at their options- if I wanted to use my credits and get massages I had already paid for- I had to pay $10 a month to get what I already paid for. The other option was put it on hold- but I couldn't receive any massages at that time.

They told me there had to be a monthly charge in there system to keep our membership active- so how bout make that $1 instead of 10? they effectively raised the price of my massage by $10 for being a loyal customer. Nice…

Provided a free 1hr massage was told can use 1/2 hour. Still have balance of 1/2 hr won’t let me use it. Appointments are difficult to get and not enough staff to cover the appointments. Receptionist are not friendly and are short with customer when speaking.

I have been a member for over 15 years and I am DONE, if I do not get my money back and membership canceled I will be forced to take this further to get resolved. I am a chronic pain patient that can NEVR get in for appointments in ANY and ALL Massage Envy’s on a regular basis.

It takes weeks or months to get in for an appointment then when I finally get in, the therapists are absolutely awful. I have not had a good massage in YEARS. I have tried to Cancel the membership in the past because of these issues, but they threatened to take all my money, so I froze it, then after freezing it for the maximum amount of time, I can never get in to anyone ever.

First off, everybody at massage envy at 10564 US Hwy 15 #501, Southern Pines, NC 28387was absolutely friendly and amazing. I was even 10 minutes late, and they still accommodated me. I requested a 90 minute massage for the very first time at this place, it was for my 50th birthday.

I asked for a deep tissue massage and I hate to complain on anyone, but the massage I received it was absolutely horrible. I work on my feet all day long and I get massages regularly. Someone said to try this particular store, so I did.

I did get the introductory rate for being a first time, at $113 for 90 minutes. I have never in my life had a massage this bad. Non only was it for my 50th birthday, that I paid for myself, it was something that I truly needed.

My complaint is that if they noticed that an incorrect phone number was on file, when it came time for an appointment reminder why not email me. They clearly showed they have the ability to email me, as they did to say they cancelled my appointment.

It’s 2022 yes I booked a massage and got my dates mixed up. I had to book a whole month ahead. But I was also looking for an email reminder and I check my email daily. I’m glad that there are more suitable companies to work with, because I will never work with this one again.

I have been a loyal ME customer for many years (6+). I like the quality of massage services, however I am cancelling my membership due to the poor quality of administrative and front desk services and will look for an alternative massage service to meet my needs.

My base is at the Burlington MA site however I have been going regularly to the Arlington Heights MA site for 99% of my visits owing to convenience of travel from my house (my wife signed me up to the Burlington site as a gift years ago). I was told that it isn't a simple case of switching my base, that I need to formally cancel at Burlington and re-start at Arlington Heights.

My session last week was canceled because the therapist quit. My session today was canceled 15 minutes after it was supposed to start because the therapist quit. There are no deep tissue sessions that I can use for more than a week. This is BS.

I've been a client for 8+ years. Your customer service has steadily declined for several years. You used to be good and care about the clients. Now you just care about money. This is crap. What are you going to do to keep clients like me if anything. This sucks. I'm so angry.
