I scheduled a massage and a facial at the Massage Envy on Turkey Lake in Orlando, Florida of which I am a member. At the time I made said appts asked for a reminder message. I received one for the massage but not the facial.

So, yesterday I called this Massage Envy to inquire about the date and time of my scheduled facial. I could not come yesterday. I spoke to a female employee on the phone and she accessed the appt log and told me multiple times that I had no facial scheduled on the books through the end of June.

I told her I definitely made an appt for a facial but she repeated there was nothing on the book. I told her I would call back to reschedule. Today I received a receipt for a facial that I did not receive.

So, I called Massage Envy again about this facial. I was told about…

I scheduled an appt for my husband for Father's day. I received a text the day before advising to confirm, reschedule, or cancel. At that time I was not aware we wouldn't be able to make it to the appointment.

I replied to the reminder text that I got the day of the appointment to cancel which was an hr before the appt so it was not like it was 20 minutes before the appointment!! I was still charged for the full visit when no service was received.

Massage envy needs to do a better job advising customers of their cancelation policy!!! The text only said to reply to cancel. It didn't say that I needed to do it a certain amount of time BEFORE the appointment to avoid getting charged!

It's not fair to customers to be charged when they canceled within enough time. Things happen and same day…

This is now my second complaint here, since after my first, over a week ago, I was NEVER contacted by the management of my ME franchise. I called both the Columbia MD branch and then corporate (here) because some of my scheduled sessions were unilaterally cancelled.

These were sessions that I had booked to use up my membership balance remaining from my forbearance during the pandemic. I have been a ME client for 17 years, always using the same masseuse. Now, without notice yet, the franchisee has for some reason decided that they can summarily cancel several of my sessions.

If the franchisee does not respond to me, I will take legal action to get reimbursement for the balance of my sessions as I will end my membership in ME. In the interim I want my membership put on hold, with NO…

I have been paying a membership fee for almost 2 years and I have only received 4 massages. I have to book a whole 2 months out and when it gets close to time to receive my massage, I am informed that the therapist no longer works there and that I would have to reschedule.

When I try to reschedule the cycle continues. I don't want to cancel my membership because I work long hours and need the relaxation but getting robbed by a corporation is leaving me no other choice but to leave. I wish I could use all of my credits that I worked so hard for.

Massage envy in Merrick,NY is old and dirty. The facility has had the same carpet and furniture for the 12 years thay I have been a member. I hate the lack of effort to keep the place clean and updated.

Eric the owner needs to learn a lesson on upkeep.

I had scheduled an appointment at noon on 6/1 and was asked to be there 10-15 mins early. I was there at 11:45 and waited for 15 minutes for them to find me a paper form to fill out as their iPads were not working. Filled out the form and waited another 15 minutes only to be told that the person who was supposed to do my massage never showed up for work and was not answering their phone.

My appt was cancelled and I was refunded my money and offered NOTHING for my time wasted and frustration! I find this entirely unacceptable! I was asked if I wanted to schedule for another time. Of course my answer was no! This place is very unprofessional and I accommodating and I won’t waste my time or money there again!!!!!!!

Three of us were scheduled for a massage on June 7,2022.. I received a text that my appointment was canceled. We made the appointments in May. We have purchased $50 gift cards for each other for birthdays. This is something we were really looking forward to after a hard year of teaching.

I told the girl (Tammy Capps) that I wanted a refund so we could go somewhere else. I am having Rotator Cuff Surgery on the 13th so it has to be before that. Otherwise it will be 4 months until I could have a message.

I asked for a refund for the gift cards and she refused. I need a refund so we can go elsewhere,. She refused to give the refund.. I am extremely upset about the customer service I received. , This is very upsetting and disappointing.

While the massages, therapist, and customer service all do a great job the 6-8 week unavailability of appointments is unacceptable. To be clear, I am billed monthly however I cannot schedule appointments monthly due to unavailability which has contributed to the fact that my wife and I now have 21 unused sessions on our account. After my last appointment (mid-May) we were not able to book again until after 20 July.

The current rules applicable to "Freezing" the account are not a workable solution. During a freeze, which has a maximum of 6 months and you are billed for the freezing service, you are not allowed to schedule or receive sessions (as if you could).

I do not want to terminate the service but I may be forced into cancellation. I do not see how the company can (legally) bill you…

At the Newna Ga. Franchise. I had a mix-up of the scheduled massage date. I was led to believe I could use my appointment later that day. I was supposed to get a full body massage and only got lightly touched on my back and neck, when I checked out I complained and they took my gift card.

00 gift card for a incomplete, worst massage I've ever had. Be prepared your wallet it's in their hands. Very unprofessional and sadly there still in business.

They canceled my appointment same day with no concession. It’s insulting the lack of care they have for their customers. If I cancel same day I get charged. They do absolutely nothing to try to accommodate their customers when they have an issue.

They did not try to find an available therapist; they did not call around to other nearby locations to try accommodate. Not even any kind of refund for MY inconvenience and disappointment. Atrocious. There are too many services around town for me to keep giving them my money and treat me like this.

Canceled my membership in March. Massage Envy in Glenn Ellyn didn't see that I can Canceled, the monthly fee $65 was still taken out my account. ,she said that the manager would have to cancel for you but she's not in at the time.

I then called back two days later because I haven't received a phone call back to confirm my cancelation, again the manager was still not in. This is very poor service. This issue should be solved right away if there is a problem with the customer especially if your taken money out of the customer's account.

Hi there. I canceled my membership back on April 25. I sent the signed forms back in via email in which I was told to do. I then called to verify that they did receive the cancellation forms and what next steps I needed to take.

The receptionist told me yes, they did receive the forms and that the manager would be reaching out to me to initiate the cancellation process. I asked her if the the date stated on the form, where I signed and filled out is the cancellation date and I was told yes.

Back in November of 21, I requested to cancel my membership because I was unable to book appointments at my convenience and the location was over 30 miles away. I was told that the cancelation request was too close to an auto draft and I would have to give Massage Envy that money towards the membership instead of a massage.

CONSUMER WARNING!!! Do NOT go to Massage Envy! It’s a franchise. For Christmas, my mom and I got gift certificates for 1 hour massages. When my mom went to her appointment yesterday, they charged her MORE stating their prices went up as of February 1st.

She is a Senior on a fixed income. Use common sense here. They told me that members pay $75 yet a huge poster on the door says &70. Our gift certificates were purchased for $65. I filed a complaint on line which only goes to the franchise owner.

Your Parker, Colorado location sucks. We cancelled our membership for several reasons. #1 They rarely answered the telephone to set an appointment. #2 They overbooked appointment's. #3 They continued to charge my credit card after the membership was cancelled. #4 The business ethics were poor and customer service was even worse.

Your SLC Massage Envy (655E 400S SLC UT 84104) did not cancel auto payment when requested to do so. They continued to charge the AMX account. When it was finally brought to my attention I spoke with Kennedy (manager) and requested a refund and/or AMX credit.

I was told that my only compensation was 40 massages over a 60 day period which was unacceptable. The account wasn't used since 2019, but continued to be charged (even during a Covid shut down). I have been able to dispute and receive credit for Nov 2021, Dec, Jan, Feb, March 2022 on my AMX card and have blocked future charges.

I have been a member of massage envy for 20 years and have had problems through out, will stick with my most recent problem. I have several pre paids and have been working with management to get caught up, in this last year each time I have a plan with a supervisor they leave which has been frustrating.

Received a text April 2020 from store manager asking me if I wanted to continue my membership. If no, respond with a “no” which I did and Massage Envy confirmed that they sent and received my text. They continued to bill me to this date.

I didn’t notice because this was my “fun” money account and didn’t check it until now. They refuse to give me a refund for the dates after April 2020 until now. I haven’t used the services. The young lady Crystal was very nice and reached out to her district manager who indicated they would not issue a refund.

I booked two appointment on Friday, the 18 of March. Total cost $ 240. We arrived at the appointment late, I was told upon arriving that we would actually get bout 20 mins of massaging because it would take 5 mins to remove our clothes and another 5 mins to redress.

I am filing this complaint for my wife. So, during the COVID pandemic, the store was closed but they still took monthly payment for 1Hr message. Last September, we had like 9 or 10 credits each. Have slowly been working them off by having two message month.

Many appointments canceled due to staff shortages. Main Complaint. My wife has dementia and has some trouble getting dressed and undressed. Your New policy - I am suppose to help her. Unfortunately, she will not let me help her, and this store will not let the female message therapist help her (even thou she is willing to).

On Friday, February 18, 2022, I went to the Massage Envy at 1170 E Champlain Drive in Clovis, CA. I had at 10 am appointment for a facial. The last facial I had was a few years prior and I was not aware that they had discontinued using Murad products.

The last facial I had we used the Obagi products and I had a terrible allergic reaction that was painful for days. My face actually was burned for an entire week. I was telling the lady at the front desk that I wanted to make sure to use the Murad products and she told me that they had discontinued them.

The staff at Boca Park in Las Vegas not only made the cancellation process impossible by never returning phone calls, never checking the emails I sent with proof that I moved (per their request), never sent the cancellation forms that caused receptive charges AFTER multiple requests to cancel, but the Manage was extremely rude and incapable to handling an angry customer after the 12 time I asked to cancel.

I have been trying to cancel my monthly subscription for some time. I moved almost 2 years ago. The old place keeps telling me I owe money and they will send me to collections. My new home says they can’t transfer bc I moved in the same state.

How do I get out of this terrible contract?? I’m in St Johns, FL currently. They can’t keep a staff and keep cancelling appointments. I came from Destin, FL who told me to go into collections to make it stop.

Me and my wife have been members for years . Service use to be good but now we are trying to book appointments and very few a available. We have booked 10 appointments over the last three months and more than half have been canceled by massage envy.

We have dozens of services paid for but we can’t ever get one to go through. We would like to cancel our membership but are being told we will lose all off our banked services. To me this is nothing short of extortion. Let repeat that . We have jobs.

We can’t book appointments for a weekday mid morning run down. It’s like we are being punished for having a schedule. The world does not consist of only soccer moms . I need to have no more money taken from us by massage envy and our paid for services refunded.

I have been a long-term customer of Massage Envy for more than a decade. I book deep-tissue treatment as part of my physician-ordered medical therapies due to military injury. What I thought was an hour massage turned out to be a 45 minute massage. My massage therapist spent a lot of time folding the sheets than I was under. It wasted a lot of time where she could have been massaging me.

I booked an appointment January 15th 2022location ID 3420 Buford dr suite E-770, Buford GA 30519 on weekend somehow due to bad weather conditions. They charged 65 $ from my credit card without any provided service, I was told that the manager will call me back but I didn’t hear anything from the manager, I don’t recommend anyone to this location.

I've had a Massage Envy membership for over 15 years. In the past few months, I have scheduled several massage appointments. All were cancelled due to staff illness. I requested assistance in obtaining other appointments or reimbursement for these pre-paid services. I ultimately had my character defamed and was banned from their facility. IF INTERESTED READ ON.

My original complaint is about the location on Centennial Center in Las Vegas and specifically Jaime and the ignorant crew there. ). I have already paid for credits that I need to use but I do not want to continue on with this membership.

I have fulfilled my first contract and since I had credits to use when it ended, they automatically continued my contract "so i wouldnt lose the credits" they say.... Hmm. Well, I spoke with Christy, who seemed very knowledgeable and nice, and she went over the "freeze" option.

On Jan 3 2022 I had apt. When I arrived lady at desk said I can’t be seen because I have clotting disease. I don’t have that ! Told lady I don’t she told therapist in back she came out an told me I can’t be seen because I have clotting disease I told her I do not have it meanwhile there was a lady waiting in waiting room to be seen or waiting for someone and hers the whole conversation.

RE: ME North Hills (Raleigh, NC) I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment & checked in. ), and at that point they notified me my therapist was out sick. I waited 35 minutes & would’ve appreciated being notified when I arrived at the ME location.

I was offered another appointment time the next day, but it still affects my work schedule (I lost time in the office today & will lose time in the office tomorrow if I keep the appointment). This is very frustrating because my time is valuable too.
