I was hired to work there. I trained for only two days and was told they no longer needed me through text, without an explanation or notice. I spent lots of money on scrubs and gas going back and forth, along with time doing my online training.

It was very unprofessional the way they fired me through text and no explanation, without giving me a chance after only two days of training.

The Massage Envy in Kennewick, WA service is very subpar. On numerous occasions they have cancelled my appointment with little or no notice. It is clear they have no understanding that people arrange their schedules around appointments. Recently, on 7 Dec I found out my appointment was cancelled about 12 min prior to the start of the massage! I was already there.

The attendant didn't even call me back to reschedule an appointment and when I went in no one was at the desk for about 20 minutes. My husband and I are planning to use up our massage hours and take our business elsewhere because of the poor quality of service.

It is clear there is a management problem at this location.

I was conned into signing a membership contract and when I try to cancel it, they refuse to. In their contract it says that I can cancel by sending an email but when I do so they send me the same text without acknowledging what I’ve said.

This will be come a legal matter if it’s not taken care of swiftly.

Cancelled account in October of 2020 when my FSA denied claim (after being told FSA accepts ME to get me to join) they didn’t bill me in November or December and then resumed in January (charged my FSA card 3 times in January) and all of this year without my knowledge.

No manager will call me back! Very poor customer service!!! FRAUDULENT CHARGES!!

Appointment was at 1545 and person didn’t come to get me in waiting room until 1555. Facial didn’t start until 1600 but we were done by 1640. I said “that 50 min went by fast” no wonder it was only 40 min. Facial just ok. So disappointing.

I had booked a couples massage for my anniversary a month in advance and had asked them to please not contact my husband. On the day of I called to confirmed we were coming and that I was upset because my husband received a text message the day before.

The manager said that my massage had been canceled because of family emergency. She was very harsh when talking to me until i told her I was the client and i felt so disappointed. she only said sorry I am understaff and hanged up.

This was our very first time booking with Massage Envy and last.

My wife Louse D'Ariano had several remaining massages which she paid for but was unable to get the massages. She transferred one to me and paid a fee to do so - Frank D'Ariano at the Marlton, NJ site. I am trying to book a massage but they said when she cancelled her membership mine was cancelled.

We now paid twice - once for the massage and once for the transfer. I called the spa but they said there was nothing they could do. She offered to have to manager call me back next Thursday. Please re-instate this appointment.

My local massage envy location closed without ever notifying anyone of notice. I currently have 16 unused visits and I reach out to Customer Service over and over regarding a refund to only be told that I could use my visits at any of their other locations since they have soooo many.

I called another location that is 45 mins way to schedule and appointment to only be told my visits are marked unable to use. I have emailed every email that I can find to only hit a brick wall with no response.

This is poor customer service and sooo unprofessional on all levels. They had no issue taking the monthly membership fee out but refuse to respond. Because of the pandemic, i stopped going for my massages. When i could go back , the masseuse that I liked was working less days and the days she worked, her schedule was not working with my schedule. To make a long story short, I have 14 sessions left.

I want to stop my contrat. I asked for them to allow me a longer grace period to finish all my sessions, as i already paid for them. Or allow me to give my daughters a few sessions , so we could used them up.

Of course i was trying to talk to someone that understood my situation and work with me for a solution and I did not find that in a The manager, Kayla, at the Pembroke Pines store. She was rude and told me that everything was on the contract and there’s nothing else yo do.

I have been trying to cancel my account. They told me in an email that they would be turning over information to their Legal Department and my bank because I harassed them. But they won't send me any copies of these emails that they have sent.

Also, they won't confirm the status of my cancellation. I call and get the run around. Managers are not returning my calls. Front Desk people tell me they're short staffed and will get back to me shortly. Crickets!

Hello, my wife Zelia Kinzo is a member for long years at Massage Envy - 9235 N Union Blvd #120, Colorado Springs, CO 80920 recently almost whole staff has changed and new manager (Chanteau (??) took place. On today's morning my wife received a text offering her a slot at 2PM MST, she accepted it and appreciated. Minutes after first message, without her knowledge and hadn't realized, that manager sent another text (kind of non explanatory), with just "1 PM" and hadn't left any voice-message or any excuse or apologize as because of mistake / or mistyped on text offering massage at 2pm which afterwards it should be 1Pm

I made an online appointment for 6pm for Sunday, 10/24. When I went to the Corinth Store, the receptionist said she could not find my info but knew my name. I had to fill out profile info again. Was told to wash my hand but not told why.

The Therapist started with the Rapid Tension Relief. Then want to know what area I mainly needed to focus on because they are short of help. Left the room. Came back five minutes later stating something about the next step.

The manager, Kaitlin, at Message Envy in Henderson on Mark’s street would not allow me to use paid for massages until I made an additional payment. This is fraudulent. I advised I would happily make more payments and allow them to charge my account once I used my paid for massages.

She refused then proceeded to charge my account $130 plus an additional $65. I put a stop payment and fraudulent claim against them.

I’ll start with a positive….my Naperville location is lovely and the people are very nice and accommodating. They answer with a polite hello and may I help you. However I travel for work and I’m not getting in as needed. One because I travel 3 -4 days a week and two because no one decent has openings….ever. I’m on waitlists.

The Baltimore MD rotunda location is something else all together. I signed my husband up there and called yesterday to inquire about membership and length as there are no openings he can find either. the woman that answered was so rude…..beyond rude. I don’t know her name but she is an African American woman works the desk a lot. She has answered before and her snotty tone is her baseline. I’ve been a member for years and have seen many therapist come and go.

With that said my appointments that have been scheduled for several months were canceled by text and no one had the courtesy to call and reschedule my appointments.

When I call to reschedule my appointments the dates to reschedule where far out or not available for the particular dates that would fit my schedule.

Since this has happened to me more than once I’ve made the decision to cancel my membership and will make others aware of the way things are handle at this facility.

#massageenvy RIP OFFS Meyerland, Houston TX location - Massage Envy a total RIP OFF - I They told me that they would cancel my contract and still taking money from my bank account. To top it off, I had scheduled an appointment at the Webster location, called them the day before and left them a message that I could not make it due to work and they marked me as no show/no call. They are saying I never left a message, why would I lie about something like that..... TRULY UPSETTING! in march of 2020, i was given a gift massage. i signed up for one massage a month for six months. k because of covid. e kept charging me. i went to the store manager ,and offered to let them keep my unauthorized charges if i could gift them out w/no further charges, she agreed, but every month they would charge my acct, or rather try to, they would then

text me saying my service was on hold, and that i cant use services already paid for unless i pony up another sixty bucks, THEN they would wait a few days and would charge me, they failed however to text me to let me know i was no longer suspended.

I booked a microdermabrasion service for my fiancé at the 3966 Airport Boulevard location in Mobile, AL with Cassi. I was informed that the cost was for two hours worth of service. He was called back between 5:15 and 5:19 pm.

His services were complete by 5:46 pm. 60. He did not get more than 25 minutes worth of service. I’m pretty sure he should have at least received an hour.

Moreover, today, the very next day, his skin is as flaky as when he went in. Could someone please help me understand this process? I have been a member since 2015, and have never received such poor services.

I am disgusted. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for eight god damn months and yet you guys keep charging me. As you can see on my account I haven’t used any massages since the beginning of Covid which is when I called to get my subscription canceled.

I keep getting appointments cancelled. It is difficult to even find appointments you can go to and after scheduling them out far in advance they get cancelled. I had an appointment at massage envy in fort worth this past saturday morning at 8am.

I booked this a month in advance. The night before I get a call that it is cancelled because the therapist hurt their hand a month before. Why you wait until the night before to cancel when you know there is an issue is beyond me.

After telling me they could get me in any time or date I tried several times and kept getting no so I asked them what is open. They scheduled me for 8am today at the same office. I was 40 minutes into the drive and almost there when I get a call 20 minutes before my appointment to tell me the therapist can't come in…

When I signed my yearly membership I received vouchers to use each month. I was unable to use a couple because I could not get in with a deep tissue female at any time of day I was not at work.

A woman at the front desk said they would still honor it the next month if I could not get an appointment . Well I had an appointment tonight so I went in . there were 2 different girls at the front desk with no name tags extremely rude to me.

They said there was no note in the computer saying we would honor the vouchers. I tried to explain why I couldn’t use them but they continued to be rude. Very unprofessional with their tone of voice. After I persisted she let me go ahead and use a voucher it was for a $10 enhancement.

My specific complaint is that I called ME to stop Automatic payments from my bank account. 00 a month. Iam a Vietnam Veteran, with three campaigns, various medals, and a disability. I asked for my automatic payments to be STOPPED.

Of course, they tried to talk me out of this. So, being the good American I am, I just told them Not to charge my card . I told them to FREEZE ALL PAYMENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!. Not so. I have been charged at least three additional times since I attend the Altamonte Springs ME, in Florida.

I want this to stop Now. And, I would like to be reimbursed for every dollar that was taken without my permission. Least of all, Is this how disabled veterans are treated. Where's the "My word is my bond" traditional truths that really made America great?

Massage Envy Denton Texas (University drive) I joined massage envy and became a member, for awhile i was enjoying the massages. I found that with life it became difficult to find time to take advantage of the massages. I spoke to one of the representatives on one of my visits and advised that i no longer wanted the membership and when my membership expires i did not want to renew.

The associated advised me the membership would stop when my 12 months was up. But i still had a few accrued coupons for the unused massages. 12 months went by after my membership was supposed to be cancelled and i noticed that my credit card was still getting charged $65/month.

My complaint is about the Sparks, NV location in the Galleria. I have been a Massage Envy customer for over 7 years (started in Oceanside, CA and then moved to the Galleria in Sparks, NV). I normally have a 90 minute appointment every other Sunday with Alex and have had this reoccurring appointment for almost the last 14 months. I had an appointment today (which was excellent as always) however when I went to check out I was advised the store is under new management and there will no longer be any reoccurring appointments. Because of this I was not able to book any appointment with Alex in October 2021. I am extremely upset at this "new" rule and think the new management should have advised us of this change- especially since there is a list of customers who are on the reoccurring list.

I am a member at massage envy. This means I am charged once a month for. 60 minute massage.

However, 4 out of the last 5 massages I’ve scheduled have been canceled. Then when I ask to reschedule they can’t get me in for a month and a half to two months.

Meanwhile, I am still getting charged every month. I have accumulated so many hours it’s stupid, and I can use them cause they can’t get me in. The membership is a rip off - I have not been able to book a massage in months. I get we are in a pandemic, but for those of us who are vaccinated and wear a mask, if the therapist is the same it shouldn't be a problem.

I recently went to the massage envy located at 3615 Florida Ave S #440, Lakeland, FL 33803. None of your staff were wearing masks and the massage therapist Mary, did not either. Moreover, Mary encouraged me to take my mask off.

Online, your policy is quite clear. It states: “Massage Envy franchised locations are required to ensure their service providers wear face coverings while performing all services.” Also, Massage therapists are to comply with CDC guidelines for Covid protection.

If this facility is not acting in accordance with Florida regulations to protect clients receiving services, I will be filing a complaint with the state and encouraging others to avoid your service. .

Hi can you please dispute this transaction bc I was on the premises and they turned me around stating I did a no call no show

I called the place of business exactly at 2:09 pm communication letting them know that I had a flat along the and I was literally five minutes away from the place of business.

They still charged my card as I was pulling in to the parking lot at 2:54pm I called them asking them where was the business located in the plaza.

I have been a member here for 10+ years. Since COVID this is a scam - I get my credit taken from my card, but can never use them. I've literally had 4 out of 5 of my last massage appts cancelled by them - sometimes a week ahead, sometimes hours. This is ridiculous as I'd like to stop my membership, but don't want to give up $600 of credits.

The 4 appts (90 minutes each) account for 6 credits - so, as they run the clock, I can't use the credits, they keep charing me for more, and the cycle gets worse. Horrible that they've added way too many members and not enough staff to meet the needs - akin to fraud.

The person who gave me a massage was in a hurry. She kept moving very quickly, bumped the massage bed a few times, yawned a few times. Really didn’t give me a whole 60 minutes. As soon as I walked out to the reception area she had some people or here children go back in with her.?

Then I went to pay. When I scheduled my appt. I was told it would be $60 dollars. I made my appt. about five days before I went. She said the price just went up today. That’s wrong to do.

If she told me $60, when I scheduled tha appt. that’s what it should be! Very disappointed! Will never go back to Massage Envy!

Front desk staff LeDawn harbour village jacksonville florida told me to put my mask on -I was sitting in the waiting area with no one else around at the time she told me from the front desk to put on my mask when I ask why she didn’t tell the other people she said she did not see them however during the checkout process the same customer in addition to another o were not masked and we’re not reprimanded she was inconsistent with telling others to put their mask on so therefore I feel singled out -other people without mask were not told to put their mask on during the wait time and

the checkout time I feel that education on consistency -customer service and appropriate use of Mask would be beneficial -I will not visit this location again

I made an appointment on June 24th, 2021 for today July 27, 2021. My appointment was booked for a 2-hour massage at 6:45-8:45. I have email proof of their confirmation and they claim they do not see me and can't honor their own confirmation email because they already booked someone else. I had an appointment for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and received a 90 minute lotion rub with some elbow and knuckles thrown in. The massage therapist I had was very nice but not experienced. He was very unsure of himself and the massage consisted of a very light rubbing in of lotion to aggressive use of his elbow and knuckles.

He did not seem to have a very good grasp of anatomy and physiology as he was not able to release any pain points nor did he really know what he was doing. Bottom line: some people are meant to be massage therapists; some should not.

I called Massage Envy on Thursday as I was charged $65 on my account. My membership was on freeze due to the pandemic & even now I am not comfortable coming to the clinic due to COVID. Gleannloch Branch location. I filed a complaint 2 weeks ago and besides the auto reply email, I have not heard from you. My complaint was regarding being refused service due to being recently on antibiotics. It is no where on any questionnaire I have ever completed anywhere.

I've been getting massages for 30 years and a Massage Envy client for approx 15 years. I've been on various antibiotics over the years with no issue. I was leaving out of the country for surgery and this was the only time I could squeeze it in.

Due to lack of any concern, I'm considering taking my business elsewhere.
