I contacted them a month prior to my renewal month and ask them to cancel my membership and I was told that it ends in November and I joined in August. I would like to cancel any and all appointments after my 12 months originally. She should not been allowed to add months before my 12 months are over.

I have not been satisfied with this company from day one.. I have continually been given therapist right out of school that have no clue what they are doing. I asked for more experienced ones and they told me they are booked months ahead..

I was charged a 60 dollar monthly payment during the Covid bull crap snd they weren’t even open!! I came for an appointment last week and they wouldn’t let me sit in the waiting area without a mask.. but people coming out of the treatment area had no mask on and never put one on while they were checking out..

Yesterday I was charged and today charged again. I called to get the issue fixed and the employee told me it was my fault and couldn’t be fixed. I asked for a manager and she told me I could not speak with one.

I am fearing more charges. They charged me while I was at work. I’ll have to cancel my debit and credit cards for fear of more theft from massage envy employees!

Good morning,

Yesterday, I spoke to your office and had a conversation regarding "gifting" my credits. I was told I could not gift one to a particular person because I had gifted one to her in March. Given my complete frustration and disgust over this policy, I am putting my account on a hold in which I can use the credits, while only paying the $10 a month per your office description of plan. After those two months, I will be canceling my account and using the next 60 days to burn through all of these credits.

I was told the required paperwork was being mailed to me. I am surprised to not already have it in my inbox as it is a form, not personal, and I would like to sign it today and get this process of cancellation underway.

I am moving out of California at the end of September. I called my Santee Massage Envy 6/23/2021 to cancel my membership and schedule 3 of the 5 massages that were never used on my account and to see if I could gift the other 2 to a friend.

I also wanted make sure that I was done paying on my 6 month agreement that I signed and that I finished my obligation. The person I spoke to that day was helpful and told me everything was completed. On 7/12/2021 I was debited again for $70.

I was given a Massage Envy gift card and joined in August of 2020. I called to cancel my membership and was told that I can’t cancel until November 2021. I gave NOBODY permission to advance my membership and I thought I was calling to cancel before my year was up.

I have been having money deducted from my account for a couple of years.. when I call yo make an appointment.. I’m usually given someone that just got out of school that has no clue how to do a massage!

You hear so many great things about massage envy unfortunately, I can't relate. I've called to set appointments nothing was available on a number of occasions.

Finally, I was able to set up two for the couples suite. The 1st time my sister and I received a courtesy a few days in advance that Mr. Chris was not well. Not a problem at all it happens. m. Coincidently with Mr. Chris as not well.

Around 930 we received a call that he is not well again. So you all again said it was canceled a few hours before our appointment. You all then said well 1 of you can get a regular massage and the other can get a facial.

That doesn't make sense when we both ordered a full body and you all expected us to get what was offered or nothing for the day. So here we are still waiting to receive our mother's…

If you book an appointment with massage envy and the person that takes your appointment puts in the wrong time or the wrong therapist and you don't catch it in time you will be fully charged for that and they will not help you in any way and if you try and say hey this is not fair they will tell you to never come back to that location again so be warned triple check all your appointments

Summer, 2020: I left a phone message asking my account be temporarily suspended due to Covid. They continued to charge my card monthly.

I spoke to a manager. I was told massage credits accrue so I can use them when I was comfortable returning. I was ok with that.

I stopped paying the monthly fee because I wanted to use up my many credits before starting payments again.

6/19: Ready to use my credits. But, in a phone call, I was told three things: 1) My account is frozen. 2) I have reinstate my account ($65/month) to use my accrued credits. 3) I have to pay $10 to use each of those credits - credits I've already paid for.

I was never told about any additional charges.

When I asked why the extra charge, I received two responses: 1) "the cost of staffing" 2) "I'm not really sure."

Though extremely staffed with great personnel, my local Massage Envy constantly has scheduling issues. Then the call after their cancelations to ask how you enjoyed your massage. This is negligent on their part and adds more insult. We love our massages but the scheduling issues are depleting this love quickly.

Customer Service, I scheduled an appointment with The Grandview Yard Ohio Massage Envy at 10:41 am on June 8, for 9:00 am for June 10 with Todd. I received no other communications for my appt. until a text came through on Wednesday evening at 7:54 pm.

(I have been a member of Massage Envy and have been a regular customer for years and years as my will show). Last night at 7:54 pm I started receiving massage texts from the salon about their rules to enter the salon.

Monique started the texts, then James got into the messaging. As you will see from the attached, this salon wanted me to answer questions relating to COVID, and my where abouts, and to whom I have associated with over the last couple of weeks. I was appalled!!!

m. m. massage. I have an email sent by Massage Envy to verify this appointment that I made on the phone some time ago. I arrived at 10:52 to be told that my appointment was at 11:30. I showed the front desk person the email I received. she shrugged(!

) and told me they had it at 11:30. No apology was given for their mistake and I was then told that maybe I could do a quick 30-minute facial. I declined and said I would be back for the 12:00 massage.

I have been a Massage Envy Customer for approximately 15 years at your facility in Mequon, WI. Both my wife and myself are both members since the opening of the Mequon, WI location. On June 3rd I called to see about setting up an appointment with Sharon my therapist since the time we were established.

My wife elected not to get a monthly massage since the beginning of the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic. She has approximately 15 months of unused one hour massages on the books. I asked if I could move 6 hours of massage time from her account to my account since I am still going for massages.

I cancelled my membership at Massage Envy 3873 State Route 31, Liverpool, NY effective February 27, 2021. I spoke with the manager at this location, Julia, and handed her my letter of cancellation. I, specifically, stated that I wanted to end my membership and did not want another membership payment to be deducted from my account after February 28, 2021.

At that time I still had 8 accumulated sessions available to for me to use and understood that I had to use them over the next two months. There was $10 deducted from my account in March and in April, which would give me time to use those sessions I had accumulated.

The experience didn't go well. When I was first in I requested that a note be put in my file that I only wanted female masseuses. For some reason that note was removed and I had a man. I didn't catch it on the reminder call because I had a woman friend, also a masseuse, by the same name.

This has happened before and that's why I asked for the note. Communication was also a problem due to my cochlear implants. I couldn't seem to get across that people needed to slow down a little and speak more clearly.

I was initially excited to be involved in your massage program but my excitement has cooled and I am not sure about continuing. I feel that I was discriminated against either due to my age or my hearing issues but I was not happy with the experience

I was talked into signing up for the monthly membership, which is not working out very well. I've had 3 visits so far. I didn't feel very comfortable in any of them and the last one that I had, I felt rushed, and the therapist never even talked to me.

I felt like I was kind of in her way to doing something else. They called me to come in early and I didn't get the message until late in the day. They wanted me to be there at 5 and I got there about 5:15 for an hour appointment and she stopped it at 6:00, so my hour massage turned into about 40 minutes.

Now, I had one set up for today, I didn't get out of work on time and they are going to take away part of my credit. Which I understand, but I am not real good at keeping appointments and don't want this to continue.

I have been a member of massage envy in the past. I needed some lower back pain relief and asked for a focused massage on my back. I also asked for a deep massage. My massage therapist was Shirley T.

She was quiet but polite. She sat down through the entire massage. As you can imagine, the periphery of my back received the massage. Not only did the pressure have something to be desired but so did the area she could reach.

It was essentially a focused scapular massage. It was my muscles that needed relief not my shoulder bones. If I needed bone relief I would have gone to the chiropractor. Unfortunately, I will not be moving forward with a membership as I can get a better massage at the mall.

I have been working to cancel my sons membership with Massage Envy, we are outside of the year contract so this should be an easy process. I have called the South Spokane Massage Envy numerous times to speak with the manager and I have yet to speak with her.

I have filled out all the proper paperwork to cancel (If I missed a step I would not know as I have heard nothing from Carlee, the manager), yet my card has another payment pending 49 days after cancellation. 5+ months as my first request to cancel took over a week to answer.

Please inform me as to how I complete this process, get my money refunded. The customer service is proving the complaints on Google to be valid.

I was contacted and told that because of Covid, Massage Envy was able to extend my membership which expired in February 2021 until June 2021. I was also told that I could use some passes that were provided to me for referring several people to your business and that even though the passes had expired in 2020, they would also be valid until my membership expired in June.

I recently signed up for a Massage Envy membership and had a great first experience. After my massage, the lady at the front desk handed me my membership information in an envelope when I asked about the free massage that they had mentioned since I had initially enrolled over the phone. I would like a refund of all prepaid massages that I paid for at the Massage Envy in Mays Landing, New Jersey. When I called to make an appointment (at the end of February), I was told the salon was closing permanently on March 1.

I was told that the salon sent an email notifying people that the salon was closing. I never received the email. I had an appointment at 7 tonight. They took me back and I sat there for a half an hour before I asked what the problem was . It turned out that my appointment was canceled and they never notified me of it never told me when they checked me in.

I make my appointments way in advance so that I can get in and expect the courtesy of a call and to be able to be fit in because of the inconvenience. This was inexcusable, rude and very bad customer service.

The therapist walks in and asks me if there are any specific areas I would like her to work on. I said the same thing I said the last time I saw her. " I thought ok, maybe she's gonna work on my back for a little bit before she gets started on the problem areas we just talked about, and my back does hurt.

I purchased in December 2018 a 6 month massage gift certificate for my daughter Nicole Laing as a Christmas Gift in the Verona NJ office. I had a conversation with the associate who sold this to me specifically asking to make sure these would not expire.

I have a membership with ME in Greenwood Village, CO. I booked a massage last minute and was disappointed with the timeliness and the response from the manager. My massage started 12 minutes late, 18 minutes until hands on! I dont blame the therapist since he was running late, but I did not like the response from the manager. "You got your 50 minutes!" No in fact I did not! I am seriously thinking that these chain massage places have lost their customer service and intent by just doing the minimal. I will suspend my membership and search for another place UNLESS I get an apology from the manager and a comped full 1 hour massage!

Fraud Activity by Amy Walsh, Manager of Massage Envy. On 8/16/19 at approximately 10:00 am EST, I talked to Amy Walsh the manager of Massage Envy at 2516 N. McMullen Booth Road Suite B, MM 37036, Clearwater, FL 33716 regarding a call I received that Massage Envy was going to charge my Visa Card for any appointment that was missed by Jose, a young man that I had transferred a massage credit to about 3 weeks ago.

At the time I transferred the massage I talked to another manager which asked me if I wanted to leave a tip on the card when I was paying for the $10 transfer, which I replied that I would ask Jose to leave the tip based on the service received. She informed me she would leave the card on file and once the tip was charged she would remove it.

Second call was answered and I was asked if I could be placed on a BRIEF hold. After waiting for five minutes, I called on the second line and the woman who answered asked me the same question re: placed on brief hold.

I started to say I have been waiting five minutes on the other line and she hung up on me. Waited on line for another five minutes and called again on a second where I received a recorded message telling me the office was closed on July 31st!!!

My phone now tells me I've been on hold for 13:35 minutes. This is NOT acceptable.

During a scheduled service today their employee Steph was rude in informing me due to body odor she would no longer do massages. She lectured me about showering no other questions asked. She said this had been an issue previously but had not addressed it before.

This is regarding the Massage Envy franchise in Hyannis Massachusetts. Today went in for my appointment, and not for the first time, did they not have me listed for an appointment. It’s happened twice before.

Also, when I actually do get to get a massage they start late and they end early pretty much a 45 minutes total. I have credits that I’ve accumulated but I’d like to use. One time I try to cancel an appointment for medical reasons and was told I would lose my credit for that appointment so I went and had my appointment.

I had my appointments messed up in one week 2 times. Before that, several. NO APOLOGY. I was feeling bad from the headache and expressed frustration. Asked to see manager. Next day after talking to manager, SHE got appt time wrong. I was upset.

I am a member of message envy and I bought an item the day of my massage and facial in Whittier, CA. I was informed about the facial products and ingredients in them so I bought a cleanser. Upon getting home, I discovered it didn't have the ingredients I was hoping, so I returned the next day for a refund.

I was told only a manager can do a refund and she was not in the office but would be in 2 days, so I decided to leave item and receipt there, instead of me returning another day.

I called in 2 days about my refund to remind them, left message. No call and I called the next day, left another message. I called again another day, said refund was done about 5 days to show for refund.

I asked for a print out of all the time I had appointments and was told they only had records going back two years. It was like pulling teeth but they finally agreed to e-mail the records. Later that night I checked my e-mail and the records were totally incomplete.
