This McAfee antivirus company is without a doubt one of the most aggressive companies I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. once you no longer want their service they harass the hell out of you relentlessly. They stalk you and keep throwing pop ups in you face trying to get you to get their product again bombard you with endless emails they can't take a hint and just go away it's like their extremely desperate for your business.
If anyone is ever interested in filing a class action law suit let me know. I'm down
99 for your full cover. I was very confused as my cover was not due for renewal until 2024. 99 which was actioned. I do not use my computer very often, and in October I was told by my laptop that the cover was expired, I ignored this as I felt that cover the would be on my devices thinking it was a computer error.
It kept telling me I was not covered I decided to look at my account with you to find that my old cover was still in place and would be renewed in 2024. There was no sign in my account of the above payments.

i have a very serious complaint to mcaffee. for a year now you have been sending me emails that my subscription has expired. i am well aware of that and the reason my subscription has expired is because i have another service protecting my computer.

I have had to reinstall my Mcafee 3 x times lately because on updates, they are removing the feature: "Shredder"
I have tried to work with On-line Chat regarding this. Both times, they asked if they could personally access my computer, and sent me a link to allow.
I will never allow anyone to do an access of my computer. This is a serious and dangerous request.
Furthermore, a couple of years ago, on another issue, I was told by a Mcafee rep, that Mcafee "NEVER ASKS" to access someone computer.

Someone from McAfee support (Alex Richards) contacted a third party to install an upgrade antiviris all the while saying it was mcafee only when i got billed was for 589.99 from a softekart paypal from intel store that i never did visit this was done by mcafee support tech. Now i cant get a straight answer from mcafee like i was the one who contacted this third party outfit that i dont even know exists yet the mcafee support knows when he is notifiying them yet knows nothing now.

I called yesterday to McAfee because my protection on my phone just went off. Although they were courteous, they were the most ill-informed people I ever met. They said I had two months left on my plan when I actually had 10 months left.
They said they could help me with a refund because I got my McAfee protection from a third party, like Amazon. I have no idea what they were talking about and if that's the case and they still show that I'm covered why can't they help me with a refund immediately? Totally inept.

I have been a happy McAfee customer since 2015. I am no longer happy or satisfied.
First they failed at auto renew on both of my accounts. Then they double charged me on 4/26/23 for the renewal of one of my accounts. And now, I continue to get messages stating that the renewal did not go through.
Also, service levels through my TechMaster account are close to impossible. I cannot communicate by phone due to language barriers and the “chat” is very well hidden and nearly impossible to find. I did succeed today. The tech refused to take remote control of my pc in order to diagnose the problems.

I attempted to get a refund after Mcaffe renewed my service automatically. I was told on multiplrle occassions my refund was in process until today when they told me they could not process my refund. I was lied to on multiple times and told my bank needs to refund my money, not Mcafee.

Software wouldn't work to add a device. Called multiple times and given a variety of excuses. Bottom line, their online software kept giving an error message and they couldn't explain why!! Instead of adding a device I will probably just purchase a competitor's product, like Norton.

Upon booting up my laptop for the very first time, I was able to get my art software and accounts sorted out with relative ease, even though my laptop was slower than expected. On only the second use of it, my computer completely crashed due to an overload of memory.

I have McAffe Total Protction installed and Notifications turned OFF. I get a McAffe pop-up (cannot be removed or closed!) on top of all programs blocking me from using other programs (pop-up still on top off everything, links is to https://www.mcafee.com/consumer/en-gb....). My screen is my property and McAffe is using my property without my consent! Blocking me from using my PC. Notifications in a program is OK, but not on top of all other programs. the monitor is MY property full stop.

Extremely poor customer service from customer service site in India (?). My inquiry was to request a refund. The rep may have been new but did not state that. He went onto a shared screen arrangement with me and stumbled around for a while so that he could provide the refund. I will explain the rest when you contact me on Monday. It was one of the worst customer experiences ever, so he is a poor fit for the job, or not adequately trained. There is potential fraud associated with this complaint, but I won't explain it now. Too complicated and the issue might get you to call me back sooner. I got a refund in excess of what I was owed, so the money the rep sent me is incorrect! Please call me on Monday AM Pacific time. What? No response? As a courtesy I sent you an email about spammers using Mcaffee as part of the scam. As a security software company I have to think that that is not helpful to the brand.
Then while looking for an email address for Mcaffee I see scores of the worst reviews I have seen for any company. Thank goodness this was free with my laptop purchase. I assure you that I will not be renewing McAffee.
