I recently went to the Meineke Store (2569) located at 8088 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park MN 55445 for exhaust service. The store manager is Jeremy Todd.

From the problem I was experiencing, I was expecting a possible hefty repair charge. However within just a few short minutes after driving my car into the shop, Jeremy's technician quickly found a different, very minor problem that was causing similar symptoms and had it resolved in no time at all! Jeremy and his technician then said to me "have a good day" and sent me on my way!

Maybe, at another shop, I could have been taken for a ride and emptied my wallet. But Jeremy and his crew had the honesty, integrity and customer appreciation that one would hope to…

On June 6th I took my car in for power steering issues. 00. On 8/23 power steering not working again, they replaced it saying it was defective. On 9/23 it went out again, had towed to a facility close it were I broke down.

I was a customer of a Meineke Car Care Center #639 in Bloomington, Indiana for over 11 years. I have had many services from oil changes to brakes and various repairs to several vehicles. I'm the type of person who doesn't mind paying a little more for good service. I have recommended this shop many times. However, the current situation has made me quite upset.

In June of 2021, my airbag warning light was on so I took my 2015 Chevy Traverse to a Meineke Car Care Center. They informed me that the airbag harness needed to be replaced. The part was on lengthy backorder due to COVID. I was told that I had to prepay for the part because it was a special order part and it could NOT be returned (per Junior, the Meineke employee that I was dealing with). If you are looking for the best in the business experienced mechanics at affordable prices then this is.... well absolutely not the place to go. If you were recently released from prison and miss getting a$$l raped then this us the place for you!

This us the most unprofessional unmechanically inclined mechanic in the state of TX. There's a reason the parking lot is empty and they can jump on your repairs immediately. They will charge you for an inspection and tell you it's over $4,000 to repair your vehicle.

After you pass out and pick yourself up off the floor with a blood spot on the back of your pants then they get loud and rude with you! Most unprofessional customer service on the planet! Don't waist your time here!

I went to Meineke Car Care at 5021 Beatties Ford Road for a simple oil change on 07/10/2023, because my oil light came on, was there for 45 minutes, when I was leaving the parking lot, my 2021 Jeep started smoking real bad, pulled right back in the parking lot to see what the problem was. Come to find out that the gentleman that serviced my Jeep, forgot to tighten the oil filter and oil was all over my Jeep's engine, they fixed the problem or at least I thought that they had.

Got home and I started seeing oil leaks in my driveway, call the store to tell them that and was told to bring my Jeep back there, forget the fact that I live in another state, South Carolina in fact and Meineke is an 1 hour and 45 minutes from where I live.

Vehicle brought in for metal clank in drivetrain. Was told the internals on the driveshaft were bad (2018 wrangler 39k miles all stock). I asked three times if they were sure it was the issue as it was such an expensive repair and they assured me that was the problem.

I paid the entire balance and was told the next day my car was test drive and repaired. As soon as I drove it the sound was worse than when I brought it in indicating they didn’t fix anything and did not test drive after to see if the issue was resolved.

I took it back went for a test drive with the mechanic and they said oh yeah you need a new rear differential now. 00 for no reason and the issue not resolved. They did not offer to reimburse me for replacing the wrong part or repair what is actually wrong at their expense.…

I went in to fix my AC. I was charged $436 for the job in which they stated that the AC was fixed. After having the vehicle for a few days the AC stopped working again. I brought it back to the shop as I had a 30 warranty. The car was returned to me the next day and again they stated that it was fixed. Next day the AC stopped working again. I then went back with the car and an hour later they called me and stated they would need another $730 to fix the AC issue. I'm not sure what kind of business Meineke is trying to run but this is not right that their employees would take advantage of people in this way.

Brought my 2019 caravan in for brake service. I was told the brake rotors and pads needed replaced. I approved the 1400 dollar service and had them replaced. After driving for a brief time there was a bad squeek noise.

It was brought back in and fixed under warranty. Still did not fix the loud squeel noise. Brought it back again and they replaced pads and rotors again and still did not fix the squeel.

on june 4th took my truck in to get the alignment done my truck has big tires on it , so they took it to the back to see if it would fit on the rack then the cashier came back & told me that it fit, so they did the alignment, when i took it to them it drifted to the right when they finished doing my alignment the truck now pulls to the right real bad, following morning went back it was the techs day off went back today june 16th & the tech tells me that the truck never should have been done at that shop because it did not fit on the rack & there is nothing else he can do for me, the cashier was standing there lissening to him tell me this & he refused to refund the money i paid $116.24 they had know right working on my truck if it dident fit on the rack, i want my money returned

Hello I dropped off my 2009 Nissan Titan truck off at the Meineke in Cheyenne, on the 19th of May . On the 23rd I called and asked if if was ready, their response was that it got hectic there and they would try to finish it.

Well I call the next day and got an answer of they sent the wrong muffler in the box. Called again on the 24th and we’re still working on it. 00 discount. Then before heading to Laramie I stopped for lunch, after lunch I noticed that the exhaust pipe was hanging down, upon looking further, I saw the the exhaust pipe wasn’t even connected to the muffler.

I took my car to Meineke on Bangs Ave in Modesto. I paid for a full alignment. I drove home and car was pulling to the right. Took it back and they told me its a tire problem. Took it to another alignment shop and was told the back was never aligned, only the front.

So I paid for a full wheel alignment and only received a front end alignment.

Made appt in store fri with manager for Monday for items diagnosed. Called store at 3:40. For update. Informed them that manager never ordered parts. Vehicle will be done tomorrow. Was promised 1 day to complete. Will be demanding car rental deducted from total.

The manager Greg spends his time shoveling food in his face while talking. It’s disgusting. Entire meals while making your appointment. Never stops shoveling it in. Abhorrent.

I took my Honda Odyssey to Meineki in Denver NC store 2056. to get a timing belt replaced. I took the car into Meineki because a mechanic told me the tensioner is making a noise so I will need t to replace it asap.

I took my car in on 4/24. I spoke to Brian at the store yesterday and pretty much told me while working on the vehicle some valves were damaged and need replaced so actually the whole engine needs replaced and

if I want I can drive it , it will make noise but I am taking a chance. Or pay over 7k to fix the motor. When I took the Van into the shop I had no trouble with the van at all, no engine light no stalling or engine trouble at all.

I had several repairs on my vehicle in recent days on my last visit the shocks / struts were not applied and vehicle had the noises while driving also I had a diagnostic check after Meineke done a diagnostic check and the other automotive company detected a problem with my torgue converter unknowingly the exact problem without looking your representative quoted me a price of $3000- $4000 I was furious as to why just days before this was not detected and

I cannot pay for shocks / struts that were not put on please refund my money for the shocks and labor as I had to trade my vehicle due to the engine problem not being detected.

They put my cvs axle on wrong it was loose and made popping noise entire time I drove you could push vehicle when parked they refused to fix it even after I went to different shop and had video proving it was loose and not tight and they didn't care.

K had spend another 350 to get it done a second time by a different shop. Don't go to meineke in granite city they don't know what hell there doing.

I’ve been dealing with for about a year my car pulling to the right after I turn to the right it doesn’t straighten back out same to left so store number 622 TechGnosis was rack and pinion replace that happened in December 1. That did not correct the issue, they were not sure what to do.

I went to Acura they came up with what they thought was possibly wrong so Meineke did one of the things they said and helped a little so on March 15 they replaced the rack opinion again it was the same results now today which is 320. I took it to my mechanic across the street and told me that my rear main seal is bad and it’s leaking really good that was never mentioned to me last week at all and I was 2 quarts low.

Also the back brakes are really bad which I had my car in on 17 March and he just wasn’t…

Good morning: This is a follow up to the letter I sent you earlier this month. Apparently, you contacted the only remaining Meineke in Springfield because I received a call from Josh the Service Manager. He basically told me “too bad”.

He told me I should have let him know about the problems I was having. I sent him a letter detailing ALL of the Meineke personnel I contacted after the ridiculous customer service I received AFTER paying a lot of money for Meineke to mess up my car.

If you want a copy of the letter that I sent Service Manager Josh, just let me know. I have shown the original invoice by Meineke and the invoice where I had to pay A LOT more to fix Meineke’s “repair” to two different mechanics and they both agreed that my outrage is totally justified.

I took my car for an oil change to where I usually go, an express oil. But there were a lot of people ahead of me, so I looked for another place close by, and I saw Meineke about one mile from me in McCalla Alabama.

So, I when I got there I didn't see any other customers, and just a couple of young men sitting around cutting up. But I thought, it's just an oil change, how bad can you mess up an oil change.

When I got home, I noticed my car smoking. I lifted the hood, and they had left the top off the oil. I called Meineke and spoke to the manager. I asked what I should do, he said nothing, that my car should be fine because I made it home alright.

He didn't even offer to return my money. The next time I drove my car, I got about ten miles from home, and my car just shut down. I coasted…

The "manager" had a poor attitude and bad customer service. Did not want me speaking with the Mechanic stating he was the manager and he knew everything and there is no need for me to speak with the mechanic whatever you gotta ask the mechanic you can ask me.

Kevin got offended by me asking for the mechanic he then walked me to my vehicle my vehicle was still leaking oil. We had issues with the battery light on my wife’s 2012 Honda Pilot. They replaced the alternator (which should have been a remanufactured Honda alternator) because that specific alternator has an extra plug in. We have been back numerous times to resolve this problem.

The manager would state he would drive the vehicle and never saw the battery light come on. Which is false because my wife drives it daily and it happens a handful of times while driving. We have gotten a second professional mechanic opinion, as well as have photos and videos of the battery light coming on.

On November , 2022, I took my car in for service at 1208 Hatchett road west in Madison Alabama. On November 8th I received a call stating my vehicle was ready for pickup. I asked supervisor was everything OK, he stated my vehicle runs better than ever.

Spent over 6 hours and two days getting an alignment on my Ford truck at the wood river, il location. When I left the tires were still not aligned properly and now the tread on my tire is already considerably worse than it was when I went in on 2/11/23.

I have called in and went back down there to discuss the situation, and I was treated disrespectfully by the in store associate and the on the phone associate. I was laughed at and basically told there was nothing they could do for me.

I no longer want my truck fixed by your company. I want a full refund for the alignment that has messed up my truck even more.

I had my 2007 Toyota Camry serviced at 5021 Beatties Ford Rd in Charlotte, NC on Wednesday January 25. Before taking it there I did not have issues with oil leakage so I went to get basic oil change for it was time.

I went there and on Thursday January 26, I found nice size oil puddle in my drive way. I called them and they said that the oil drain plug was not fitting and that I needed an oil pan replace/repair.

00 for it to be fixed. Of course I declined because it was nothing wrong with my car prior to me taken it there. They came back and told me that I just needed a bigger plug and the leak stopped.

No mention that I needed any additional things done. I am very very upset at the deceit and being lied to so I can pay an outrageous dollar amount for something that didn't need fixed or…

I called meineke in charlestown, IN because my daughter's car had a locked caliper. I normally do repairs for every myself. I just did my 2500HD prior to leaving on a trip. I was out of town so I asked them to repair the front right wheel.

The car is going away at the end of the month. When I picked up the vehicle I questioned the price. I got a quote for all the parts replaced at O'Reilly. 00 Remember this vehicle is going to be junked at the end of the month.

We visited the location on 2972 FM 423, Little Elm T× 75068 on 01/09/2023 on the advice from a Walmart mechanic who said we needed our spark plugs changed.

We arrived at the store and told the General Manager James about what the Walmart mechanic said and he implied that Walmart does not do Diagnostic Testing and we then thought Meineke does. We were totally wrong. 69 or so and we left.

Repair: Replaced left side control arm & sway bar - I hit a curb on the front left tire, with considerable force. I took my car to the Meineke mention above. After my car was looked at, I was shown the damage and explained what work was involved in fixing it.

The parts that were needed were: left front control arm, stabilizer sway bar and associated links. The quote was just shy of $2000 and a little more than $900 of that was for parts. I said I would buy the parts myself and let them do the work - I knew I could get the parts for substantially less, which I did, for a total of $205.

After I said I'd buy the parts, I was told they wouldn't offer a warranty on them if I did, which is understandable. I'm pretty sure this guy was a little peaved that I wasn't going to let him make that…

So, we took our vehicle (2013 Grand Cherokee - Limited) to Meineke located at 1330 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL. The problem was for OVERHEATING. After multiple attempts, Meineke failed to solve the Overheating problem on the vehicle. Meineke provided us a 6 months warranty that in the event the problem persisted, they will be responsible. The issue with the overheating still went on and Meineke suggested we get a second opinion and Jeep, which is the maker of the vehicle was agreed upon or recommended.

Jeep did the diagnosis and found totally a different cause or reason for the overheating. Jeep said it is the engine head gasket that's damage and need fixing.

Now, Meineke at 1330 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL which has given us a 6-month warranty and suggested we take car…

My husband took my car, a 2008, Ford Escape, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, to Meineke in Rock Hill, SC, to inspect it for an oil leak because we could smell oil burning, but didn't see a leak . He was told that there was a severe oil leak and that the valve cover gasket and the oil pan gasket needed to be replaced.
