Sat Dec 17, 2022. Walked in Hershey Meineke. Ordered 2 tires and alignment. Got quote $8??.??. Scheduled for December 19,2022. Dropped van off with keys in your business envelope and a note stating driver's side front tire leaking and donut on passenger side front are the 2 tires needed.

Get a call on December 19 2022 they can't align due to bad suspension arms and bushings. I said no problem I still need the 2 tires. He said ok. Get a call car is done. Knowing car bill will now be under $800 because no alignment. 00. I argued price.

2 tires and no alignment is more? He gave me some coupon and it's back to original price. I paid and left so I didn't get arrested for being beyond mad. Your company stole my 2 tires I just got elsewhere.

I had my strudes changed and the mechanic forgot to place back the bolts. This is the second time this happen at 49th & Spruce Street in Philadelphia PA. He's the tall African American man. I have proof from KiA that they hade to place bolts.

My car was making noises and the ABS light was on, down hill light, and the swivel light was on it sounded like my brakes was grinding.. 00. Cab I receive my money back for Mieneke not repairing my vehicle correctly. Thank you

Stopped in for the first time for a basic oil change. Car was fine prior to visit. On the way home, car was smoking bad, blamed it on possible spill and would burn off. 1 week later, still smoking like it was on fire.

Went back for a check, was told they made no mistake and I had a oil leak. Went back to my original shop before Meineke, had it checked again, Meineke had overfilled my oil by almost 2 quarts of oil causing it to smoke like fire.

My original shop, changed the oil again at no charge and no more smoke.

I had the brakes on my 2015 Nissan Altima checked because of squeaking. Was told I needed rotors calipers and pads on both rear tires for approximately 1200$. It sounded suspicious to me since I regularly take care of my brakes.

So I took it to a Nissan dealership where they informed me there was absolutely no issue with my brakes at all

When I brought my vehicle in to replace and fix my drive shaft.I had my vehicle towed there .In two days I was told that a used auto part was placed .After being called by a manager.I picked my car and paid services in full not only was it not fixed.After calling manager I was told to bring my vehicle in 4 days.Not only am I dissatisfied whith the horrible service I believe a full refund is ordered.

All I wanted was to make an appointment for a diagnostic test. The lady that answered the phone was rude, not helpful, felt as tho i was wasting her time and I should know Meineke work practices. I was using Meineke services back in Arizona until my favorite mechanic retired then then next staff in charge was rude so I found another place to go.

Me alone I have 2 vehicles that need to be serviced and wih Meaneke being so rude I will never try and use their services again. I will look elsewhere and I will never refer anybody to Meaneke. The lady in Spokane, WA answered and acted as tho I've been going there for years and I should know what I want (which i did, it was a diagnostic test) I just didn't know there are differnet kinds.

On 8/6/22, I visited Meineke on West Clay in St. Charles, MO for a simple oil change for the first time, looking for a new shop for this purpose. I noticed the engine was smoking a bit on the way home and as normal thought it was just some burn off from a spill.

I do not drive this vehicle everyday, so time passed and as I continued to drive the vehicle, the smoke got thicker and worse, looked like the car was on fire. On 9/19/22, I stopped back at Meineke and explained the issue, they took a very quick look at it and told me I had an oil leak and its was going to smoke because of that and that they were not at fault.

The vehicle never smoked like that before, so I took it back to my old shop and had another oil change, and Meineke have over filled the vehicle by a quart and was causing…

I went in for leaking brake lines after excellent care at Meineke in Archdale NC. They told me I needed new lines and it would cost $1029. The next day they called and suggested other work. I said no, only the brake lines. The manager was rude.

He said he didn't have tools on hand and it would be another day and would cost$2080. My son in law called to arrange pick up and had to be firm we wanted nothing more done. I drove less than a mile and brake light came.

I had a 1060 mile trip home and had gone less than an hour before service engine light, ABS light an no trac light came on. It was difficult to apply brakes. I took it to my local shop when I got home.

He said rigid lines were put on rear brakes instead of flexible which it required.

I got miss diagnosed and was charged over $500 for a part that wasn't bad. Then my next visit I was quoted a bunch of work but could do it all then when my daughter picked up the care she was greeted with a very rude employee. I've spent several thousand dollars at meineke over the years but I'm done using them.

They told me I needed 4 struts. I told them I had a 200lb subwoofer box in trunk I asked if it would be a problem? They said NO. After the work was done my car bottoms out a lot and they say the subwoofer box IS the problem.

2022. I was having issues with my parking brakes. He ripped me off because I am a woman. JD is the current shop manager. I have been a repeat customer due to the previous manager who was always good to me.

This company is a joke. I thought it may have been just this particular shop, but after reading the reviews, here on this page, I see that the problem is every where. It is unfortunate that this company washes its hands of responsibility after they make their money from selling a franchise.

My daughter had her car towed to this shop, and after 4 hours in the waiting room, they told her it was the battery. Even though we told them it was the alternator. They sent her on her way, after having to purchase an expensive battery, and 3 hours later the car is broke down in the middle of an intersection.

I was scheduled for an oil change at Meineke (Limit Street and Highway 24) in Colorado Springs. I arrived for my appointment and was told they did not have the necessary oil because of a tanker accident. It apparently did not occur to the shop to call me and save me a needless trip. Had new brakes installed on 10/3/15 (I thought). Took same car in on 10/11/22 thinking I had a warranty from 2015. 90. Therefore, no warranty. I was told this store has all new owners and I did receive new Ceramic pads, brake shoes in front and back, and flush brake system.

I assume I was not ripped off this time!

I was in twice this week to have tires balanced, rotated and to check brakes, rotors ,etc. I was told that all 4 tires had been rotated and balanced, a tire patch put on one tire and that I would be needing brake pads soon but we’re ok for time being.

I brought car in initially as there was a noise coming from from end and I thought it might be brake related. I left the meineke store and went on my way to work. I commute out of town and when I got onthe highway I noticed that nothing felt different and noise was louder.

After driving my commute home from work I stopped at the only auto center that was still open. They looked at my tires and suspected that the balancing had been done wrong and told me to come back inthe morning and they’d check it out.

I took my car to Meineke yesterday because I flunked inspection and I wanted a quote for the repair. The clerk (Donnie) had them do a complete write up and he recommended a lot of unnecessary work. I wanted the estimate for an exhaust leak which required the replacement of the flex pipe. The estimate was almost $400.00. I declined the service due to the high cost. When Donnie spoke to me he said I needed to replace my left wiper blade. I passed inspection earlier on the item. Donnie said it was torn. It was fine until I pulled into Meineke. I want Meineke to replace the wiper blade that their staff tore.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I plan to file a complaint with the military bases .. They will warn service members not to bring their car s to Meineke for repair…

This is about my experience with Meineke-81 (351 Grand Ave, Englewood, NJ) manager JeanPaul Villegas. I've visited the facility on Monday 8/8/2022 to replace my rusty muffler and resonator pipe. JeanPaul provided the estimation for the job ($1,100+), and though it looked too much, I had nowhere to go and agreed.

After waiting for 2 hrs for parts to come, I have asked JeanPaul if he has ordered the parts. He said he did, so I insisted him to call and verify. After the call, he told me parts are arriving within half an hour.

Service was horrible - the techs are inept and failed to fix my vehicle A/C system after charging me nearly $1000. Took to another shop and they fixed it for $110 (they filled system with dye then replaced the shraeder valves) on the fill line where it was leaking.

Contacted Customer service for a refund of the cost from other shop and was shut down by an incredibly rude 'liaison' from Mieneke.

Once I finally got a call back after several days, I asked to escalate to the next level, I was told there is no next level and that she didn't have a supervisor and she ended the call.

I had my car towed to Meineke on Chestnut Hill Road in Newark, De. My car would go into limp mode but it would gradually get up to speed. I was told by the Manager Greg several days later that both of catalytic converters were clogged.

50 bill through Snap Finance. My car is still doing the same thing that it was doing when I had it towed. I don’t think that I should be help liable for the remainder of the Snap Finance Loan. I’ve paid enough.

Greg told me that replacing the 2 converters would fix my issue.

The Alton, IL location is poorly run and offers bad customer service.

I bought a new car this last week and took it in because the engine light was on. After taking a look at it, they said it needed a tune up.

So, I approved of the tune up, and they spent 5 hours in the shop avoiding my calls (which lead to me going to the building myself), and when I got there, the guy at the counter said the part I needed to fix my issue was a "special order", but proceeded to tell me my car was running fine and that the special part was to fix a separate headlight issue.

I declined the special order offer, paid for the tune up ($423), and left, but didn't get half way back home (a few blocks over) before I noticed that the car was in the same exact shape it was in when I left.

Made online appmt for for Weds 6/15 at 8:30 am for $34.95 Conventional Oil Change for a 1996 Grand Voyager. Manager insisted he could NOT use anything other than FULL Synthetic Oil. I say that's BS! (Jiffy Lube agrees) I told him he had wasted my time. I'm 72 yrs old, a Veteran & live close to my SS Check alone. I was a loyal Pep Boys Customer for my entire life, since high school. This is bait & switch stuff is a poor business practice! Very offended, won't be back!

BTW Jiffy Lube did my 5W-30 oil request with no trouble at all and were honest about my vehicle needs, price & terms.

Rear brake job estimated at one price but when I came to pick up the car the price almost doubled with no expectations or adjustments to the overcharged price. Been a customer for many years but now it’s time to drive past the Meineke sign to Andy’s Auto Repair just next door. Hello, my fiancé' and I had some work done on a 2013 Hyundai Genesis from September 27th and got the car back May 28th. We took the vehicle to the Meineke in Hampton off of Mercury Blvd. The tech did ran a test on the vehicle and stated the turbo looked to have been going out which would be why we were having issues with the vehicle not accelerating like it should.

He then told us it would be close to $8k to replace. We explained we have Route 66 for our warranty company and that they cover any turbo issues, the tech physically laughed in our face and told us "good luck with route 66 they suck and we at Meineke do not work with them".

Hello Robert, my name is Bracee Hall. I have been having tremendous issues with Meineke. On April 28th, I took my 2005 gray Volkswagen Beetle to meineke located at 5980 W Poly Webb Rd. Arlington, TX 76016. Before I went, I called and asked about how long it would be for a oil change and coolant flush, they informed me it would be less than an hour.

So I go there, they tell me it will be $267, I question why it cost so much, they try to explain I say that’s fine, so I sign the papers and they start. I end up waiting 2 hours, and I have to get to work so I ask them if I can pay for what’s been done and return later.

Only asked for change engine oil and check alightment. I dropped off my car and they fixed braking light without my agreement. Guy name Nick lied that they change the braking light without opening the truck because my truck sensor is broke.

I talked to Nick on the phone and he said he will fix for free. I went to the same location next week and he was not there. Maybe the owner name Jan and one lady at the counter told me Nick speaks English as second language so Nick probably did not understand clearly what I was saying on the phone.
