Saturday, 9/30/23 at about 10 am - I brought large can of CWF-UV stain (cedar) in for mixing, that I had purchased a year ago before staining my decks flat surfaces. The can had several areas of drips on the outside, but not a lot.

This was at the Beloit WI location. We do the spindles and sides on opposite years, so the can lasts 2 years for our deck and it is easier on us physically. Well, I had hoisted it out of my vehicle and onto a push cart, hauled it all the way back to the paint department and was greeted by a tall, thick man about 50 who stated that they don't mix the used cans anymore.

I asked when this occurred as I had it mixed for the last 30 years we have been doing this. He just said that "Carl does not like doing the used ones as it makes a mess". I then told him that was…

If I could put on the the scale zero I would. I am disappointed with the treatment my family received from this new employer! The location was in Wichita, Kansas, his name is Randy. When it comes to customer service, it's crucial to ensure that everyone feels respected and valued.

Went to Menards Germantown. Went to desk to get the paperwork to purchase rebars. The gentleman at the desk was very rude. Asked about sizes was told the size I wanted would have to a special order. Was not helpful at all when I asked about other sizes & lengths that could be purchased now.

00 dollars yesterday on new appliances.. no nothing I put them back and when I was leaving it old him I spend 100,000 dollars year here and shop here just about every day. He was talking to a lady stocking shelf she started laughing and he gave me a look like get the fuck out of my store was angry looking the way I see it is he was telling her what a big man he was and belittled me.

I ordered 15 solar lights, out of the 15 two didn't work from the get-go. I ordered two more But as time goes on they are all slowly not working I'm down to three of them not working right now plus the first two that didn't work right off the bat so that's 5 out of 17 not working...

They were not expensive, about $4 a piece but that is still hard-earned money that I will never see again! Dollar General's $1 a piece solar lights work better and longer than these...

I placed this online order, (43593260), more than 12 hours yesterday, with the intent to drive 30 miles and have it ready in 40 minutes. I was surprised that the email said it would take 12 hours for lumber they have in stock that as a customer, pulls from the racks.

As of now, I still have not received the second email with the required confirmation to pick up this load of wood that Massillon, OH store had in stock and as mentioned before simply just had to pull from the rack. I spent 1-1/2 hours yesterday in store-service desk trying to track this order down with no success.

The managers, were extremely nice and compassionate of my situation. They just could not under why this order, that had already been charged to my credit card, had not come through. With no other choice, I had to do…

The email was submitted to me that my whole special order was at the store in Columbus, Indiana, Store#3180 and when I went to go and pick it up they did not have all of it. The manager claimed that some of it was at their warehouse, and it was corporates fault for generating an email saying that the store had all of it.

I am a very dissatisfied customer for one, being lied to by a multimillion-dollar company saying that my products were there when they were not, two, the manager would not do anything to consult with any higher authority to prevent this from happening again, and three, they knew about this situation before I got there.

I was shopping in Menards at the Highlands, Triadelphia, WV. I was hoping to buy decorative block and brick. I easily found what I was looking for. Now the problem, the items were NOT priced nor was anyone in the garden center.

I went to the customer service desk and was told there is no pricing that I needed to scan the QR code that was most certainly out of my reach. I feel that because I am a 70 year old women, my concerns were less than important to the service representative.

No additional help was offered. I usually enjoy shopping at Menards but will give second thought to returning. I hope we can resolve this issue. Linda Cole

I was at Menards store April 10, 2023 at Melrose Park IL location around 7pm central time. There was a manager by tye name of Kendra, and show was pushing a cart, and almost hit me if I did not move oit of the way.

Do NOT buy anything that says SPECIAL ORDER! They will charge you a 25% restocking fee if you have to return it for any reason. LOWES and HOME DEPOT has never done that to me. I would give them zero stars if I could.

And this after I spent over an hour completing the return process. Outrageous. Will not do business with them again!

Called in in the past because I have a disability and I needed to check out at the register closest to the door In the past never had problems until I ran into an employee name tag name liz at the service desk at 5260 Franklin Street in Michigan city. Unless something gets done about this I will definitely be contacting my son and cancelling all further purchases from Menards who will in turn call other companies and stop further purchases.

I expect a phone call ASAP on this matter. The front end manager also who said her name was Malina was also involved. As I was walking out of the store in dirty work clothes they then said they wanted to help me after they already got me angry.

I was in your Detroit Lakes Minnesota store on January 29 2023 and slip and fell on a strip of water the scrubbing machine left behind. I ended up with an right wrist injury. I fill out an injury report the same time.

I am still having wrist problems and now they want a MRI with contrast becuse it not back to normal. I talk to Gallagher Bassett Services may times and could not get a straight answer from them. Today I talked to a person named Paul Robert phone # 636-922-7977 and was told that Menards did not carry medical insurance with their lieabilty insurance.

I know this not true and that the claim form said that I reported the water on the floor and then later I re-enter the store and then slipped on the water. This is not ture and not what I reported to the front desk.

having paint to be mixed at Antigo store. went over all the specifics of what i wanted and the person went to get started on it. had to wait for the employee to come back which was only a few seconds because i had a couple things to get and told employee would be back.

now i do a lot of buying paint and know most of employees well and they me so this is common. in the meantime obviously a women came for paint and the employee decided to mix her 3 cans of paint first and just stuck mine to the side.

the employees should be reminded to handle in the order of arrival! i should not have to stand over the employee to get my paint mixed! so i still stood there another 5 minutes like i had nothing better to do.

Customer service at the 42nd street in Indianapolis IN is the worst!!!! Had a special order for cabinet/vanity set and had to make 3 yes 3 trips to the store to pick it up!!! TWICE there was a “pallet “ of items that were missed.

NO ONE EVER TOOK ACCOUNTABILITY for overlooking our items. No apology was ever extended to us. We have had 4 projects in our home recently and spent $50,000 in cabinets and countertops. We shop there a lot! This experience has spoiled it for us.

We will NEVER shop this location again. Completely unacceptable

I purchase on line 65$ of dog food. Today I went to pick it up. I talked to the front desk which in turn sent me to the back. I passes the contractor desk and went to the pick up counter.

No one was there but the sign said, ring bell for assistance. I did and waited. No one came. I then went to the contractor desk and there was a lady and 2 men not assistance a guest. I asked for help and the 3 just looked at each other.

Then the lady said to the guy, can you call someone. I went back to the desk and waited again .

Finally I walked over to the shelves and saw my order. Stepped over a rack and got my order. As I was doing this an employee past me and just looked at me. Never asked is I needed help or to let me know I should not be back there. I was very frustrated!!

I mailed a rebate out back all the way in late October and never received my rebate. I wouldn't normally have issue, but it was substantial amount of roughly 75 dollars. com and have difficulty printing out receipts because lack of printer.

So I explained this to front end supervisor at Marinette location and was given a printout from their computer and told it was sufficient enough for the rebate. It was never processed and they cannot do anything about it. I called corporate, and they never answer all different hours of the day.

I would like my refund! Wether it was negligence or or uneducated staff regarding this matter, I contacted even my local post office, they did send it out. I paid over 800 for a water heater and had to pay for additional installs, so at least like the 75…

I was shopping at the Menards store in South Bend, Indiana. It was 15 percent off anything I could fit in the bag. I was going to purchase two pillows and three furnace filters plus I already had my bag full.

I asked the cashier if I could still get the 15 percent since some of my stuff was not in the bag She said technically she didn't have to give me the discount I said fine I will get another bag and try to stuff them in. She did give me the discount but I believe she was very rude.

Very questionable people you have working for your company. I realize that it's hard to find good help but she was definitely out of line.

The manager of the hardware department in manhattan, ks menards is not working to her full potential, highly depending on the assistant managers to do her job using them to pursue her completion of work, respect and valor as a manager representing the department and the GM named Kyle seems to do nothing to better the situation.

The first assistant applies herself as the manager more then the actual manager. Her name is Errin, the first assistant , her leadership skills are impeccable. The actual manager, Shannon, her manager skills are not strong enough for that department.

The leadership needs to change.. The first assistant shouldnt be expected to carry the entire department. Why is she not manager?

Made a purchase of siding along with other associated items. I recieved the other items and had periodically checked with the manufacturer and the store as to arrival date. I last soke to the manufacturer on 11/21/22 and was told that the order would be shipping that same day.

I started getting emails from you a few months ago. I finally tried to buy something today. The flyers says I can buy it at the store or online. I go to the store and it is not available. A clerk tells me I can get it online.

My wife goes online and orders it for me. What do I find out? Online I get charged a service fee and a delivery fee! They come to about an additional $15. Are you kidding me? That will be my last order.

Why not deliver it to the store and I can pick it up? Many stores do it that way. What a racket! I have scratched Menards off my list. No point getting any more emails. I also learned on line today the Menards gets many bad reviews. I can see why.

Charged with theft, never had a criminal record walk out under my arm with candy & a mens razor. Disabled rushing to important Dr. appt in Cleve Ivy the clerk states fancy car & stealing I am embarrassed , she states if come in will not call police.

I spent thousands of dollars days ago to purchase a brand new shower. I paid for the transaction in store using my Menards card when they looked me up using my SSI and info. When I got home the items I purchased were damaged.

I returned today to exchange my item with a new one but I wasn’t able to because I didn’t have the hard copy of the receipt or my credit card. When I asked to look up my card the team had no answered, the store manager Nikki was even more useless.

Clearly she didn’t care that I had to drive 1 hour, or delay my shower project, but the least I expect was for her to find a solution for the problem Menards put me in the first place by giving me a defective item. Since the store manager had zero interest to relay the message, I am doing so myself hoping it doesn’t fall…

I ordered a custom door to be cut 30in wide and 75inch long. I paid some one to pick it up. I have asthma and allergies so I set it in the garage and painted it with 2 coats of paint and let it set till the pain smell was gone.

Brought it in to have someone install it and the door was the wrong size!!!! 29in by 73in. I'm out $25 for the paint. $10 for the pick up. They will return it but I'm out another $10 to have someone return it and another $ 10 to deliver it again!!

Was at columbus Menards and the cashier Teresa was very rude. I had an item with me that I decided I didn’t want and she argued with me saying I couldn’t not get it I had to pay for it.

I didn’t want the item only the others stuff I had but she tried to insist that since I brought it up to register I had to pay for it. Very rude girl and should not be in customer service at all.

I really hope this is looked into and she get proper training. My family shops there a lot and has never incountered a rude person like Teresa.

I ordered a jet for my well August 28th. It was supposed to arrive on September 26th. I still have not received. When I ask customer service about it they keep giving me ETA. Poor company. Do not order from this company.

We ordered a new shower door from Menards in August with shipping date of September 28. When the door hadn't arrived by by1st of October, we went to the Menards store . The clerk in plumbing checked and found that the vender cancelled the order.

We were never told the had been cancelled. I reordered the door with slight alteration to the order. The new order was to be in the store by November 10. After checking with the store we were told the company cancelled the order once again, and once again we were not told the order had been cancelled and the shower door is no longer made.

Upon trying to exchange a clothes dryer that was just over 2 weeks old. I was met with unnecessary rudeness and condescending attitudes by Fridley MN store managers Terry and Brian. I only wanted an exchange for a full size vs a compact Whirlpool dryer.

I understand that is your policy, but I have been a long standing 71 year old loyal customer of Menards. When I mentioned the close proximity of Home Depot and Lowes to my house, Terry’s attitude became one of something he wouldn’t have used toward a male or a younger woman.

flooring looked great but in a few months one section started to break up 3 times in store for answers and finally a guy gave me paperwork to send in... later a gal from flooring comp. came and i got a multiple page report which about half was wrong.

i still have only half a floor in my dining area because i cant afford new floor again. all i wanted was some flooring to replace the bad which is about 3 boxs. and new under layment material.

I bought a washer dryer combo from them $1900. I bought the extended warranty for five years. Through Allstate through them. I purchased this in September 2021. I did not receive the washer dryer till the end of November. I bought the extended warranty in January 2022.

Now not even a year later The washer has stopped working. It has been three weeks and I can’t get anybody to help me they keep giving me the runaround I’ve called Allstate whirlpool Maytag and even contacted the headquarters through email.

And almost 4 weeks now and I still haven’t had that thing fixed. It has water in it with close stinking up my house. I’m going to have to get somebody on my own. I am not going to recommend Menards to anybody and I know a lot of people.

Purchased a new push mower, weed wacker and blower. Sent in for the 11% rebate about 4 months ago and have not received anything. I bought the lawn equipment because of the good price. Was upset when I found out it involved sending in a rebate.

I was in St. Croix Falls with a construction crew of three black LICENSED professional construction workers and spent $3200 for a office improvement project. By the time we left we had a half a dozen or more employees surrounding us.

The minute the construction crew left the premise they were pulled over by the cops. I will NEVER shop at Menards again, I don't care how much I have to pay or how far I have to drive. My husband co-owns nine radio stations across the state so that is A LOT of business you just lost.

I have bought all of my building material for a 24x32 building at menards. from the 2x4's 2x6's to build my trusses. spent about 8000$ in a few months time. i go and buy my metal for the roof and the walls.

pay for it and they didn't have what they showed. so i asked to speak with the manager. to make it rite. they only had 19 of 22 white panels i bought showed 30 in stock. i also bought screws roof cap metal for the walls.

the manager told me i could either buy 3 16' pieces and cut them or return the 3 they didn't have to begin with. i told him he needed to make it rite. to me what was rite was giving me the 3 16' pieces for the price of the 14'.
