I continue to get notifications that I’m pennies away from receiving my next reward. I’ve been back to the Mt Pleasant Wi store several times, and I know I’ve spent over $10 for small items that I needed. I even did the appropriate steps to file for lost points, and nothing other than to get the same notice that I’m so close.

Is the rewards program still available? I would appreciate an explanation one way or another please.

Visited my local micheals store sat nov 18 2023. The cashier was rude from the get go. She was visibly irritated & didn't mind deflecting these feelings on my husband & i. I had a 40%off one regular priced item coupon,i asked do i just give this to you,or & with that she was very curt in her reply, "yeah,u cant use that on this",i simply replied very gently, "oh,ok np".

My husband informed cashier he has a tax exempt card to which she audiably tutted & was huffing at him. Her attitude & her aggitation became increasingly obvious & worse. My complaint is with the management at the Michael's store in Greenfield Park Quebec. The store is unclean, the items are hard to find and there is no proper organization. It never shifts the way that the other locations do.

The employees are great though. Just work for some seriously cruel people.

I spent well over $1000 since 5/24/23 on simply tidy storage items. Close to every piece was delivered damaged but i have a bad back and cant haul all of this stuff back so i hot glued what i could.

You need corner protectors on these items. Its not great customer service to receive items this way when you pay so much. I have more pics if you would like them.

Went to register to pay. 03. 00. I can go right outside and get the 3 cents or I can give him a $20. He looked around not knowing what to do or if he should call someone. He stated, well there's more customers who need to pay since we're almost closing.

I again said, I'm right here outside. You can wait and I get you the 3 cents or you can cancel the transaction so you can assist other customers. He just stared. So I just gave him the $20. As he is getting my change, he realizes he does not have enough change for me.

He looks at me and says, im sorry but I'm going to be 3 cents short. Yes, he wouldn't wait so I can bring him 3 cents from my truck, which would've taken me 30 seconds. Yet he wants to short change me 3 cents.

In the past two weeks, I’ve had 2 orders cancelled due “unusual activity”. However it doesn’t state whether I entered my address or credit card wrong or anything like that. I always use guest to shop or maybe it’s something about my phone ? I rarely shop with you online because the site is so hard to utilize, I usually give up. The site often kicks me off saying it can’t complete my order, so sometimes I put in two orders one right after the other before it kicks me off the site.

I ordered three double mats and they arrived the other day. They were bent, I have tried to straighten them out but too much damage was down. The error was in the packing. There should have been a hard cardboard material in the bag to stop if from being bent. There was nothing in the bag to protect it. I would like a refund. thank you Karen Daley

Can we not do half a star? They are SO horrible.

The Michael’s in Pleasant hill CA, employee Cassidy (esp. she has been awful everytime but takes the cake yesterday).

She refused to get me a manager or be helpful at all. She just shut down and stood there not helping. I wasn’t ranting just asking for help & a manager cause she was refusing to type in the store coupon. My phone was slow in the store and she would say that. (That’s not helpful)

She just really there to get ALL my $169. That’s business, my husband would say, but customer service is more important business (I say. I’ve worked many places where we know a happy customer tells people and we gain business, unhappy one will lose at least 5people’s business).

I did find the coupons w/ barcode… just pissed that she wouldn’t…

Standing in line - the 2nd of only two people inline, an associate walks up and tell me I can use the self check out, I told her I prefer to be checked out by an associate. She then asked if I was paying with card or cash- I replied card, she then sharply stated “the self check is for cards, this register is for cash only.” And walked off.

Needing to pick up a few craft items. Cashier at the register would not check me out. He told me I had to use self checkout. I said I would rather have him check me out. He refused and said he would help me with self checkout.

After asking me to enter my rewards phone number. The 1st number entered did not work. He pressed something and cleared it. I entered my 2nd number and it worked. Then he walked away to visit with his coworker. That was ALL of the help he provided. I HATE self checkout.

I specifically drove "40 miles" to the Michael's Ocala branch store for art supplies. I purchased specific white gel pens, acrylic paint, glitter and glue, 8x10 index cardstock paper, expensive magnifying glass, expensive microwave flower drying tools, and expensive mold/deckle as I am an artist that does greeting cards.

My purchases reached well over $100 dollars. When I went to checkout a guy with poor grooming, long unwashed grimy hair was at the register. I waited for him to acknowledge me in line waiting to checkout, but he seemed to have this carefree, I don't give a damn attitude about being assigned to the register so he just acted as if he was ignoring me, but he knew I was in line waiting.

Last week I ordered a painting to be framed. This week I return to frame another in the same way as the previous one. At 2 pm I arrived at the store and was attended by the manager who did not know how to find the previous order in the system.

I had to leave and return again at 5 pm so that the employee who attends that department can order me. My time is very limited and they made me lose valuable time because neither the manager nor anyone else knew how their store system works

I called the Torrington CT store on 3/19 to check the status of an online/pick up in store order that was problematic. I was passed along to the manager (anyone who answers the phone should be able to answer such a simple question), who asked a lot of unnecessary questions.

For instance, I explained I received an order confirmation from PayPal, but nothing from Michael’s. He proceeded to read the names of people who had orders waiting for pickup. When I stopped him, he explained that some people opened PayPal accounts under different names.

No responses whatsoever regarding my highlighters order. I have called (that's a joke) and emailed before. Issue with shipping charge and NOT being informed, that on an order that qualified for free shipping, as to the reason for the S&H charge.

Store clerk more interested in trying to get into his coworkers pants, than worrying about the customer. I checked out and didn’t realize that the one item I had picked up was falling apart. It flew everywhere, and he watched me stand there, picking up all the pieces rather than say, let me help you with that, ma’am, or hey, I’ll go get you a new one because that one’s defective.

m. at michaels called michaels back and they found it which is whatever mistakes happen I've managed at retailers before so anyways drove all the way back across town 20 minute drive asked for a $10 gift card for my gf who was driving just as like a sorry for wasting gas money and

On 2/16/23, my husband Jacob and I visited your Manhasset location to pick up two pieces that we had framed. To be clear, these pieces were not done to our liking or satisfaction. I have attached images as proof of this. The main reason that I am writing is because I feel that we were given the runaround. There was some kind of spill at the end of the paint aisle. Looks like someone had dropped a container of paint or something and it spilled open all over the end of the aisle. Not sure how long it was spilled out.

I turned the corner, did not see the spill and completely ate shit. Notably, there was a worker right down the aisle that I saw before I fell down and after I recovered myself I saw they simply fled off out of site instead of helping me.

Why weren’t spill signs put up immediately? My jeans got soiled with the spill. I decided to just make my way to the register with my things and check out. I’d tell them about the spill there. Workers in the area seemed to pretend that they didn’t notice that I fell.

My mom and I visited the East Amherst location to buy some canvases and other art supplies, which were on an unreachable level, with no employees to be found anywhere, let alone friendly ones. When we eventually found an employee, she was EXTREMELY RUDE, acted like we were such a burden to ask her for help, then talked to us in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner.

I submitted an application for employment. I was then interviewed and told by Traci Hanson (manager) I was likely going to get the job. She told me she would email me a list of materials to bring next time so I could register with them and be employed by them.

Before our next meeting I told her I never received her email. I tried to call her multiple times over a week. She never picked up. I even texted her. Despite this, she never responded with what materials I needed.

I bought some battery operated christmas lights on sales on Jan 17, 2023, as it turns out the timer does not work, and you can't turn the light off. I tried taking them back today Jan 23, 2023 the clerk to me that it was a seasonal item and they don't take returns on seasonal items, this is rude and unfair.

The lights did not work, so it does not matter if its seasonal or not if its broken then it should be returned for a refund. These light are totally useless for my crafting projects that sell in my shop, and I told that to the clerk, and just left them there at Michaels, If this is how you treat your customers, then you just lost me as one.

Saturday, December 31st, 2022, I made a special trip to Michael’s in Hiram, Ga (15 miles) to purchase an acrylic marker to complete an art piece I have been working on for a while. The experience at that store was very good.

Unfortunately, the marker leaked everywhere and I was unable to use it. Today, Sunday, January 1st, 2023, while traveling, I visited the Michael’s store in Rome to replace the marker. The store did not have the same marker, and I settled for something similar in hopes it would have the same affect as my original purchase.

I presented the receipt and the marker, explained the problem and wanted to exchange for the new marker. The young lady at the register kept trying to scan the marker I had purchased in Hiram and her system said not found. NOW, THE PROBLEM.

The cashier named Nadia (heavy set lady wearing glasses) at the Côte Vertu store was rude and completely unhelpful. She was frustrated with me because I couldn’t find my bar code in my Michael’s email. Instead of being helpful she was brusque and annoyed.

She didn’t seem to know the store’s sale policy and from the get-go she was resistant to giving me the discount to which I was entitled. The actual cashier was very friendly and courteous, however the older female manager at the Gilroy Michael’s had very poor customer service . My daughter had bought a sweatshirt that was very clearly marked 70% off (an entire display with sign).

Instead of honoring the price the manager said it was marked wrong and quickly began pulling the display down. The correct thing would of been to honor posted price and take display down , not refuse to honor it.

On Dec 6, 2022, someone hacked my Michaels account in ordering themselves 2 items for pick up and another to be delivered. I discovered this the day I was doing bookkeeping via my bank account info. I spoke with my bank regarding the charge and referred to Michaels to understand how the order was processed.

Upon calling Michaels (being placed on hold for over an hour), I tried to have them cancel the order as I noticed the hacker used an address in Pottstown which is several hours away from my residence. They would not allow me to cancel my order and mentioned the incident needs to be investigated.

I was able to intercept the online pick-up order by calling the other Michaels to cancel the order but the larger item I was not successful. I find it interesting that the Michaels online…

I was in your Spartanburg location last night around 8 PM. I walked around I'm looking for a stool of some sort And I didn't know if you had them or not ! As I got close to where these crates were kept I got an overwhelming Smell of paint.

Someone hits you open spray paint and spray it. My head began immediately to hurt and my son has started at increasand crazy and I also became lighthbaby. I don't know if you've addressed this as a protocol but in cases like that the store should have been closed down and aired out .

I don't know who did the spray paint in the air or whatever Was a young associate there talking to a guy if nothing had happened. I am so glad my son who suffers from asthma was not with me because it would have triggered an attack possibly.

I came here on Sunday on December 11. I came here to grab a few items. I’m making homemade jewelry for a family members this year instead of buying it I was in the store and I needed to look for stamps like the color stamps that you use to make crafting or scrapbooking and

I purchased two christmas ornaments two weeks ago. One had a tag on it the other did not. The cashier just rang both up using the same tag as they were the same price. I paid cash but did not get a receipt.

I called the store and asked to speak with the store mgr. A woman I spoke to said no worries, as long as I had one tag they would do the refund and could be cash since the refund was under $10.

I went into the White Oak Garner NC store and told the cashier what I had been told. She froze up like a deer in the headlights and called a mgr. 99 for each. 99 each with a 50% discount.

I asked for the mgr to come to the register so I could again tell her what I had been told prior. A lady who did not offer her name or title told me without the receipt or sku number she would not do…

I received a damaged pkg and I’m trying to return it. Your employee set up a pick up time for the pkg and didn’t send a return label. I waited all morning. Only to find out I needed a return label.

It’s set for pick up tomorrow and again I have to wait all day 8-5pm. I’m not happy with the fact that each person I spoke to told me something different! Regards, Jacqueline Davis

Michaels refused to return my merchandise because it was not in a box I asked to them it was a gift and need to return or exchange the item .. that’s very frustrating to be forced to keep something you no longer wants ..

Good Morning I visited the Michaels store located 2650 Eldridge Parkway 77082(zip) around 12 noon 11/29/22. The cashier an was an African American Women I greeted her to no reply. She rung me up and when I asked about my discount she stated it was there no discount was applied.

I left an item at check out an another customer ran out to tell me. Even as I approached the entrance with a cart full of items she looked my way and proceeded to walk away not handing me items or anything.

I just feel like customer should be appreciated at bit more I work hard for my money and would appreciate not feeling like I am bothering your employees when I come to spend it at Michaels.

I do not live near a Michael's store. I decided to try ordering online.

First I was told my order did not exist. I thought I had done something wrong so I reordered. 2 days later I received the original order. I called customer service to cancel my order and I was told the only thing I could do was return the new order for a refund.

They would send a return label, which I did not receive. When I got the package I called and got the return label. A week later I still have not received a refund. I was told it was "in process" and will get a refund in 3-4days.

I order from other online companies and it does not take this long. Not ordering again.
