I bought 3 large shatterproof ornaments I brought them home and they weren’t going to work, so approximately 2 hours later I went to the store to return. One of the ornaments had been damaged when I bought it which I never noticed and there was a tag that said “as is not returnable” I never saw the tag nor did the associate mention it when I bought it.

Why would Michael’s put a damaged product out to sell? Why would they charge me full price? And why couldn’t I return it?? I think leaving damaged product on the sales floor is completely wrong. Of course I will tell everyone I know of my experience and I will think twice about shopping at Michael’s

I will try to be brief. Had a piece of artwork framed at the Michaels store in Battle Creek, MI. Three major problems.

1) Image is not centered properly under mat. Problem is visible to the naked eye. I measured the amount of off-center to be 1/4". So I brought the artwork to the store. Framing manager was not available when I arrived, so I explained to the framer the problem. Framing manager called me back and let me know that they measured the off-center to be only 1/16". I followed up with the store manager after I brought the image back home and he said he measured a deviation of 1/8" only. (How in the world am I going to get a problem fixed if the team in the local Michaels store doesn't know how to measure).

m. I went to the Michaels store number 2778 located on McPhillips Road in Mesa arizona. The manager Sean went above and beyond and was absolutely awesome. The girl that was checking me out I am not sure of her name but if you go back and look you will see she was at the cash register at this time.

she had long hair straight that was pulled back in a ponytail and she was so rude when I asked her about the 2 items that ordered on line that I know I was early but would go pick up the items myself because i got called into work early and needed these items.

I explained to her that it was only a couple of things she didn't want to hear it continued to be rude called the manager over Sean which had no problem my order had already been pulled anyway and he was absolutely a pleasure to deal with…

I was in the store the other day. I was looking for crushed velvet yarn, which none was out so I was pulling the bottom, black bin out to look. I was not digging or be loud. At the same time I am looking, there was a lady asking me to help pick out colors.

I did not know this lady.

However, the store manager came around the corner aggressively, and extremely rude asking me what I needed. I was shocked and said that I was just looking. His response to me was, "Well, what do you need? " He was extremely rude to the point the other lady looked scared and walked off.

I have been shopping at your store for years, and never had a complaint with any other worker. When I called to complain the lady told me that was the store manager. I was embarrassed and left the store in tears.

Today was the 3rd trip I made to the Michael’s on rt9 in manalapan or freehold nj. I previously file a complaint last week about the same store that was a total mess with boxes in every aisle and it was dangerous to walk through.

I see that there was three people who worked there( I use the term loosely) that was helping 1 cashier and not doing anything else. I don’t know if thes an adult that’s a supervisor but that store definitely needs some adult supervision.

I left my shopping card filled with merchandise because I wanted to pay cash and couldn’t do self checkout and my purchase was not scanning sale. Very disappointed in a store that I use to shop at. Now I’ll wait to go to Hobby Lobby.

On 11/4/22 at 1:56 pm I placed a curbside pickup order with Store 5098, order #MIK55432450. Received confirmation of the order and my credit card was charged. Email stated I would be contacted shortly with order ready confirmation. At 6:15 pm I still had not received ready for pick up email.

I tried to cancel the order but the Michaels website didn’t allow me to. So I drove to the store and inquired. The Manager was rude, unorganized, name tag on upside down, disheveled, not helpful at all, acted as if she didn’t understand my issue, said she couldn’t cancel my order, couldn’t refund my money, had no clue about my online placed curbside order.

Normally I purchase my arts and crafts supplies at Hobby Lobby.

However, I had received a 40% off coupon from Michaels and saw that I could order online and pick it up. Great, that would save me time and money. I ordered an acrylic paint set. 79 with the coupon. I arrived at Michaels (913 Holt Rd Ste 110, Webster, NY 14580) around an hour later.

I waited in line and asked about my order. The woman at the counter told me I had to go back around and check the bins for my last name initial and if I found my item to just take it. My order wasn’t there.

I placed an order on the evening of 10/26/22 (MIK55124143) using PayPal. I called Customer Care within 5 minutes of placing the order as I realized I had not updated my new address with PayPal and my order was being processed with an incorrect address.

I had a very difficult time communicating with the representative as I could not hear her over all the commotion that was taking place on her end, nor could she hear me. It sounded like there was a party going on with numerous people laughing loudly and talking very loudly. It was extremely unprofessional.

I did not get my issue resolved. I called again this morning and was told I had to wait until my order was processed and had a tracking number before my address could be updated, which makes no sense to me.

I went in to get some wire to hang garland and two picture frames yesterday afternoon (10.16.22) Simple, right? Wrong. At the check out, you have taken all the registers except one, and the rest are self checkout. That alone aggravates me. I tried to self checkout and it kept asking me for my rewards info. I don't have it nor do I want it. When I tried to create the information, it still would not allow me to check out.

The poor girl trying to work the one and only register was trying to help everyone, as several customers were also requiring assistance, not just me. I finally went back to get in line, so she could check me out and I could get out of that store. What should have taken about 10 minutes to get what I needed and leave turned into a 30 minute, very frustrating experience.

I always shop the monrovia store. I've been a retail manager for 30 yrs. The store manager at this location has zero care for the customers. I've asked for his help several times. Today I asked him if there were any more white plume Feathers available because the shelf was empty.

He replied that that item was out of stock for two weeks and he was sure they would not restock them. I asked another associate named Denise to see if maybe they were in back stock. She was so fantastic.

She found an entire drawer of them and I purchased 3 packs. This store managers behavior is not a sales driven head set. Very disappointing.

What terrible customer service! The representative was rude and refused to assist when the link she sent me with a return label was broken-she told me try a different browser which I did-that didn't work either. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she became argumentative, did not want to and then just left me on perpetual hold.

I am still on hold 30 mins later! ) but clearly Michaels does not make that available to its customers. Thanks Michaels, I'll never purchase from you again!

This is the 2nd time I have had issues the the grab boxes. I called today and they said they had 3 left. My daughter drove an hour to get them. She gets there and they said they are gone.

I called after she got to my house and they said they still had 3 left. She wasted time and gas just to be lied to. I asked since she drove an hour and was told they were gone and they weren't if they would hold them and I would be right there to get them and they said no.

We spend alot of money there. Not happy at all.

I went to Michael’s craft store yesterday in Mitchellville MD. Store #9939 at 2:30pm. The young lady on the cash register was an example of the absolute WORST customer service there is. She made it clear that she had no use for my issue or assisting me. It was palpable.

Obvious by the sighing and exasperated tone. The only thing that saved the situation was the manager that was on duty who ended up being the one to resolve the issue at hand. I appreciate his time and assistance. Michael’s, that young lady should not be representing your store.

My complaint is that after two times getting my framing done and after the lady who waited on my daughter, when she came to pick up my little needle point in a frame, was rude when my daughter did not like what it looked like. She took out the needle point out of the frame and brought it home to me and I steamed the canvas and she said she would reframe.

I shop at Michael’s a lot. I’ll include a copy of the purchases I’ve made just in the past few months. Today, while shopping at the Everett Washington Store (1325B SE Everett Mall Way Everett, WA 98208) I had brought in my little reusable bag (9” x 12”).

I’ve done this many times. Empty. I was shopping in the hobby paint section making my selections. I’m sure it was the store manager who came over and asked me if I was finding everything. I said yes and continued to pick colors.

This is a complaint regarding employment at a Michaels store in Watchung NJ. My daughter was employed by Michaels only for a month. She interviewed with an Emma and was hired. They had her assist while moving the store from the Blue Star Shopping center in Watchung to the new store located at the Watchung Square mall.

I was being followed around the store the entire time I shopped. The manager was noticeably trying to see what I had in my cart automatically making me feel like I was being watched and followed. And I was. The entire time I was in the store.

My car was damaged by two large display carts outside the front door at the Fort Myers Michael's. This happened as I was dropping my wife off at the curb during a heavy rain storm. Your employees ran out after the damage was done and the manager came out and took pictures of the damage while it was still raining.

After a voicemail contact by an adjuster representing Michael's I have been unable to establish any contact on return phone calls. I am getting estimates to repair the damage. Because I have had no effort on Michael's part to work with me, I will be pursuimg this through both my insurance provider as well as my attorney if necessary.

I am a customer and also I shop there for instacart. When doing a instacart order today I asked the clerk where I could find a item. She informed me that they do not have to help instacart shoppers anymore. WOW.

East a way to conduct your business. Someone at the top needs to be let go for this. I am there on behalf of another customer. Well I couldn't find a couple of items so I refunded customer and Michaels lost the sale.

She choose the same day deliver. was told if the purchase was made before 2:00 pm she would get her package today. We both called and spoke with a manager on location. Manager informed us that they dont have a driver, yet they advertised online delivery.

The manager claims my wife will have to pay Doordash or someone else to pick up the package. I canceled the order. What kind of slackers going on with Michael's. The Clifton store manager was unpleasant and unprofessional. I will not stop at the store or recommend it. That.

Normally I just accept the items I order from Michaels that are damaged or wrong because returning them is a huge hassle. A lot of times I simply buy the item again and hope for it to actually arrive undamaged or for it to be correct. In fact, one of the items I bought on 4/3 was just that, a REPLACEMENT for an item that was wrong. So yes, I spent MORE money trying to get the item I wanted.

This time, my items were sent in a very long, very tall, very narrow box. ALL of them. The following were either damaged, broken, or spilled within (and all over) everything else.

I made an o line order for 2 Caron Cakes to be picked up at my local store in Auburn, CA. A few weeks ago, I noticed that instead of online orders being locked up behind the counter, they were now on a shelf with your name on it. No accountability, no way to verify who is picking up an order. What a recipe for disaster!

I placed an order and decided to join Michael's Mailing list. Bad mistake! I'm bombarded by so many emails from Michael's that i decided to unsubscribe. Their instructions to use the unsubscribe button failed and the other option given was to send an email with UNSUBSCRIBE.

I got a confirmation email telling me i would be unsubscribed in 7-10 days. That was March 1, 2022 it is now March 25th and i'm still being bombarded by ad emails. I have been charged an extra fee because they did not ship my order all together. An unauthorized charge was put against my card and cannot be returned until 3-7 business days because they are holding it as an authorization fee.

I have paid the entirety of my order's cost and days later received this charge. Customer service would not issue a refund for me and denied to let me speak to anyone else. I should not be charged anything extra because of their processing for shipment.

I ordered everything online, not from a store, and the charge is being said to be due to my shipment. This is absolutely ridiculous. My money is being held and it is not a charge I was notified of ahead of time.

I used Michaels UPS access point to drop off my high valued box for shipment per UPS directions. It was supposed to be picked up by UPS but apparently it was not that day, Wed. I verified by going to store and having manager confirm.

On Thu i went back, as ups tracking still had it there, and manager said there was no box there and must have been picked up by UPS. In the meantime today is Friday and UPS says they do not have a record of picking up the box from your location.

To me that appears to be theft by either employee or someone entered the back office premises of the building and took the box without permission, hard to believe as it was a big box. While I am waiting for UPS to finish their investigation, should I be filing a police report for your location ?

Ordered a happy planner item number 10671342 but received recollections planner item number 16056049. Took 3 days just to get a hold of someone and am now told they are out of stock of the one I ordered. Hold time was well over thirty minutes every time I attempted to get in contact with customer service. Was hung up on.

I was told to return it to the store but I live over an hour away from the closest one. Now I have to drive over forty-five minutes to drop it off at the ups store. I visited your Michael's store on Erie Boulevard in Dewitt, NY on the morning of Friday November 26th and found two Christmas trees. I was happy enough to bring my wife back that same evening to shop of strings of Christmas lights.

A large, valuable Franz Kline print has been in the framing shop of your Wyomissing store for 6-7 weeks. It was to be ready for pickup in 2 weeks. I have repeatedly phoned and stopped in to inquire, and the only answer is " I keep sending the emails and get no response.

I was in the New Brighten store which opened late due to a floor finishing company running late. The fumes were terrible and the store should not have opened. I was in there for only 30 minutes and my eyes were burning, my throat was getting scratchy, and it was giving me a headache.

All signs that there was not enough ventilation for the product used and the fumes were especially dangerous for the store employees who would need to stay there for extended periods. It's now 2 hours since I left the store and I can still smell the product.

I was unable to use any of my receipts from Michael’s for business expenses at CRA for HST purposes since they do not include the HST number on their receipts. When I contacted their customer service, I was told that they don’t do that.

However, the rule at CRA is that if the HST number is not provided on the receipt, it cannot be used to claim when filing HST. Therefore, I will no longer be shopping at Michaels in the future until they change their way of doing business in the future. Ridiculous.

I came into the store to return a frame i purchases the day before.... as i went to the frame dept. Not only did your staff say NOTHING to her , the manager ? to say the least... I worked in retail and restaurants for many years and totally understand how mistakes can be made but I also understand the value of customer service.. and Really? L. com

Was in the store in Yuba City Ca. Today I have a foot injury and need a cart to go in the store and out.I took a Wal-Mart cart in as the Michael's store carts can't come out. The cashier was very rude to me.I love shopping there but won't anymore because the carts don't leave the store so I can take my bought items to my car.

Spend ALOT of money in this store!! NO MORE!! Assistant manager literally ran after my son yelling at him to get out of the bathroom after I had already yelled for him to come out! You do not yell at anyone's child let alone continue to argue with a customer.

They apparently keep them closed because " people can't use them correctly " well it's against the law in a department store with working facilities to not allow someone to use the bathroom. I told her that and she pretty much said to thank other people well a big thank you because my son pooped his pants on his way out!! Talk about being embarrassed!!!

No reason to treat anyone that way. Love how you run your business. Lucky I don't get a lawyer. I used to work in retail you always allow children to use your bathrooms.

I was at the Sisk store in Modesto on 6-14-21 and lost my bank card somewhere there. It was the only place I had been and I stuck it in my phone wallet which I should have put in slot but didn’t and it must have slipped out when I was walking around store.

Unfortunately, I didn’t realize till last night that my card was missing. I called as soon as they opened to see if anyone turned it in and they said nope. Didn’t offer to call me if some one did. Didn’t even ask for my name.

So I decided to go there and check myself. I first went up and ask cashier and she looked around at register snd called the back and said nope. Again didn’t offer to take name or phone e # in case some one found it.

So I asked if they had a long object or broom so I could sweep under the carts and she said no. I…

: Today, I walked up to the frame dept. counter, spread three pieces of art work on the end of the counter that I wanted framed and started looking at items in the aisle while the sales associate was helping a young woman.

When two other customers, both female, arrived at the counter, the one employee said, Oh, it's getting busy," which must have been a cue for another sales clerk to come and assist. A second employee did appear a few moments later, automatically intoning, in her bored little voice, "Who's next," clearly more interested in serving one of the shopping ladies than a 73-year old, beanpole of a man with a bit of a project for her.

I went shopping yesterday at Michaels in Brooksville As I was walking around, I seen unopened boxes just laying in big piles in the middle of the floor blocking to where I wanted to look I went back to the frame counter to see if my favorite framer, Tracy, was working. I had asked the manager where Tracy was and he told me "she is being lazy " I had asked if she had the day off and his reply was, "alot of days.

" I was shocked that the employee shared personal info about another employee to a customer and I was more upset that the manager would not only call one of his employees lazy but say it to a customer not once but multiple times.
