I took my 2016 F-150 in October the 29th 2022 to Midas in Grapevine Tx to get the breaks replace and an oil change filter, tire rotation. I paid over $1,000 dollars. Weeks later a felt something wrong with the breaks, my left tire was getting black and the breaks were not stopping correctly. I went back to Midas in Grapevine William D Tate I spoke with Kevin the Assistant Manager there and advise him that my breaks are not working and it was slipping. He toke the vehicle in and hours later he called me back he stated there was nothing wrong with them it was just the rain.

Monday 12-19-22 around 6:25 pm i heard grinding and it sounded like it was coming from the left tire. I was driving in Irving and I had to stop at a tire place and ask them to check the tires for me. They mentioned they…

Had Midas look over the truck, they called back and said it would be $800. They dropped the timing positioning sensor into the crank case. 00. So we had to pay for their mess up. The job also took a couple extra days.

I went in for a oil change nothing is wrong with my car. The mechanic tells me my battery good my alternator good transmission good. The next day my battery goes dead so I called my insurance company and let them know and they tell me I need to contact the mechanic shop and file a claim now here we are 2 weeks later and

my car is completely dead and midas was the only place I took my car and it's not fair because my vehicle was perfectly fine now it will not even start I me and my fiance and our children have school and work I believe this need to be fixed by midas.

My mechanic referred me to Midas to have osygen sensor replaced as he Ididn’t have the right tools. , Was told they had done a complete inspection and the car had a whole list of other problems which would have cost well over $1,000.

One problem was there was no fluid in the windshield washer tank, they suspected a leak. 95 to fill the reservoir. Picked up the car, charges were over $630, Engine light was off. Three weeks later engine light came back on.

Took it to my regular mechanic, Discovered still had an oxygen sensor problem. On looking at the Midas bill I discovered Midas had not changed it. After reading reviews, I see that there are many complaints about how Midas gouges their customers.

61. 02. I barely drove my vehicle between those dates because after may work i had body work done. I will attach the before and after pics of my tires. I am asking for some compensation please. I had to get another alignment completed even after July/22 rework done by MIDAS as the alignment was already off and starting to wear my brand new tires put on July 22.

I got the alignment done at a different company as I will not go back to MIDAS because I am scared something worse can happen. I am asking if someone can please get back to me I have been trying to get hold of someone since July with no response. Thank you, Kim

Long time customer here. Health care workers were offered a free oil change. Forgot my ID had to rebook. Was ignored by Helena at desk was treated like i was only there for free oil change. Another time had a full loyalty card and was basically thrown my keys bc i wasnt paying.

I had brought my vehicle to the Midas on 196th and Lynnwood Washington to get the power steering pump fixed. Well my car was in their possession. They had called and asked me if I had a spare key to my vehicle.

I said no I gave you guys the key to the car. The following day they called back again sang the car had been stolen while in their service. They said that I could come pick up my key. Of course the key that I had picked up was not my key.

It was even broken like my key but it wasn't my car key. After that I happened to be in the area and walked by the Bay of and look through the window and seeing a vehicle with my make and model and color of car.

Now they're saying they're not responsible for any damages while my car was in their care. They haven't even filed a insurance claim…

I brought my car to Midas in Auburn on 11/3/22 to fix an oil leak. I was charged for the service. I brought it on Wednesday morning and was called and told the were having trouble fixing it and had to keep it overnight.

I picked it up on Thursday and it seemed ok. I had to go to North Smithfield RI on 11/11/22 and on rt 146 all of the transmission fluid leaked out. I pulled to the side of the road in the brake down lane and called AAA.

That was a 3 1/2 wait for a tow truck that never came to help. The North Smithfield police came and stayed with me for the full 3 1/2 hours. 00 in cash to get it towed back to Midas in Auburn.

The next day I went to Midas and they said they needed to do more work to fix the leak. 00 dollars. They tried to tell me it was not their fault but I feel that…

I left my car almost 3 months ago to get it fixed and it has not been ready yet. I am tired and frustrated to ask to be escalated with anybody else capable to give me a real solution and who recognizes that Midas Kingston hasn’t had the capability to fix my car.

First, there was a delayed in getting the car parts required (understandable) but afterwards has been a long list of unreliable excuses and sadly poor commitment in costumer service. I demand somebody responsible to get my car fix immediately or transfer my car to another place with the capabilities to fix it.

Went to my local Midas-Howell NJ for an oil change and instead of the tire rotation I had tires (summer ones off-winter on) with rims on to swap out. 48. I was charged an hour labor to swap the tires (which would have been taken off anyway with the tire rotation that comes with the oil change.

I called Midas in Freehold (the next town) and was given a price of an extra $30 dollars plus the oil change. I tried to speak to the manager Shawn but was told I had to deal with the salesman Dennis.

I explained what I was told from Bob in Freehold. Still not budging claimed he didn't take advantage of me etc. I hung up on him after telling him I would go to all the local social media and let everyone know that that location was scammers.

Midas at 2126 McPhillips St, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3C7 is poorly managed. I returned to have my wheel stud replaced as Midas over torqued one lug nut and stripped the stud when they put on my summer tires. After convincing the manager James that they were responsible (James confirmed that employee was incompetent and let go after 3 days).

I dropped it off on a Friday only for it to sit there all day. Went back on following Tuesday and again it sat there all day even after I was told over the phone midday that it was next to be serviced.

The mechanics went home right at 5 so James went to the back to see if he could fix it. He took off the tire and after hearing some banging around he came back to say the tools he needed were locked up and it would have to stay on the hoist overnight.

Took vehicle in for service today 11/2/2022 approximately 10:30 am for a check engine light diagnostic. We informed the front desk that we have a Vehicle Service Contract and not to do anything unless it was covered by the Service Contract.

We were never contacted by anyone with Midas, we had to make multiple phone calls after the vehicle was dropped off for any updates. We were informed on a couple of different calls that we made that they had shut the Engine light off and had test drove it a couple of times to see if light would come back on.

We were informed at the end of the day that services were performed on vehicle without a written estimate or consent. Manager was very disrespectful when asked why services were performed without consent. That is when I was quoted a price.

My whole experience there was awful. When Bill was there it was great. I was first told after I made the appointment we don't do tie rods without a purchase of tires. My tie rod was fixed but 5 days later the plastic piece underneath right near the tire fell down because there was nothing holding it.

I know my car was on the lift but Jim said they didn't touch it. I work at home and barely drove the car after it was fixed! Maybe it's true but it sure does seem coincidental since noone else touched it.

And if it was loose before why didn't they tell me. I woukd like this fixed and it's jusr a matter of a couple screws.

Also while I was in there someone else had to have them redo a job they did. (Dan was actually very helpful). I can see why. I can send you a pic if need be.

Rude. I asked about tires which were available but not at this store. I was passed to another individual. I was looking at the online quote for THIS store. He quoted me about $250 more. I told him, that is not right - I am looking at the online quote for your store.

I was told - "I have things to do" and he hung up.

Obviously customer service on the level of "Listening" is not part of the agenda here. I have brought my vehicle to this Midas for years. I have the work order history. I keep every repair order.

I made an appt for a full synthetic oil change plus filter and add a qt. On my truck . My tires are starting to feathe on the inside fronts. They did the oil change but not tire rotation! I even asked him 3 times tires rotated? He said yes .

I specifically asked for tire rotation at the time making the appt. and befor service and after completed. I didn’t tell them I had a slow leak it the right front tire. That’s the only tire that leaks air and have had to put air in 3 times since service.

So I know for a fact they did not rotate my tires! What an inconvenience now I have to take my truck someplace else??? I paid to have that done! And your guys didn’t do it. I guess I find a new shop to service my truck

It is completely understandable this company only gets one star. asked again to confirm. The price was 70 more than quoted on the first person the previous day when as I asked 3 times during the call. On the 3rd call a very snarky person said, "I already told u how many times what the price was".

, St Petersburg, FL 33703 about my 2014 Prius C which had a message “Check Hybrid System” to find out if his shop could help me resolve this problem. He took my call while he was on vacation and informed me that his manager John would call me to coordinate a drop off time.

I explained the problem to Adam Ford, that I had taken it to another mechanic an hour away and that I was looking for someone a little closer, since this error message kept coming back. I have been a customer for quite some time. 99. 99. The manager was also high on drugss. The auto tech serviced my car and did an amazing job. He followed the oil cap with the right oil. 99 when the tech already told me what he did.

I paid more than $600 to have the rear brakes done on my 92 Ford Van. The rear brakes were on the ABS system. The day after the work was done, my brake light/ABS light came on. I quickly returned to the Midas and asked for an assessment.

The mechanic said that I shouldn't slam on my brakes and they wouldn't lock up. This was about a year ago. At the time, I have to admit, I was shamed and a bit distracted, plus, I don't drive my van a lot, and I let it go.

This summer, after reflecting on the fact that Midas guarantees its work, I took the van back in to the shop because it seemed ridiculous that I dhould settle for no ABS after paying to have it fixed. I left the van at the shop overnight and for a day.

I changed 4 tires on my car at Midase Hazlet NJ. At 20000 miles I went to my mechanic for a sound in the car who told me the sound is because the 4 tires have problems and are not smooth and this is a manufacture problem and should be replaced because they're still under warranty.

Midas admitted the problem but told me they cannot replace them eventhough they still under the warranty and cannot do anything because the warranty doesn't cover that. They quoted me new tires for over 1700. I feel this is extremely unfair.

My complaint is due to a repair I had completed at Midas on Salem in Dayton Ohio on August 7- 20 22 the manager is John. I had a water pump repaired did not inform me that it was under manufacture warranty, I tried to submit my reimbursement to the company and found out that midas had used aftermarket materials and I was not asked prior.

On 9/1/22, Thursday I brought my car 2009 Toyota Corolla in Midas service for complete and thorough check of transmission fluid leak. The Midas repair shop is on 450 Highway Route 35 South, Red Bank, NJ 07701. I wanted a detailed written estimate for the repair.

Although reluctantly written estimate was given to me. It says remove and replace the transmission cooler line. I was told that the part isn’t readily available. The guy (Jason) working at the Orillia Ontario Midas told me that if I used conventional oil instead of synthetic that I would void my warranty with Ford. He refused me the oil change unless I used the synthetic oil.

Literally refused saying he wouldn’t void warranties. I checked with Ford and this is NOT TRUE!! He lied and uphold me the more expensive oil. I want a refund for the difference in price between the conventional and synthetic oil change. RIDICULOUS!!

77 except they neglected to replace my rotors. Months down the road 2 other independent mechanic shops brought it to my attention. The scored and unreplaced rotors have destroyed the pads. I have called corporate 3 times and was assured Jason Kemp would call me with in 3 days .

I am on day five and all I hear are crickets. There is a fine line between being incompetent and dishonest.

Midas in County Side Illinois called me to confirm my appointment for an oil change. m. No curiosity call was giving to me. He laughed at my experience and declined ever giving me an appointment in the future. He told me to return early every day until they have open availability.

I wouldn't recommend any get their vehicle serviced at that location. The new management is horrible.

Visited the Midas shop in Castle Rock CO on 6/28/22 for an oil change and tire rotate. 00 to put new ones on. Yes I am a single female, but I am not stupid! Took my car elsewhere and there was no problem rotating my tires. 00.

Hi, my partner. Diane Laramore, has a 2016 Ford Escape. A few weeks back, her car would not start and then it would start and then, again, it would not start. We managed to get it to the Midas at 6184 N. Keystone here in Indianapolis on 7/2/2022 ( Inv. # 0152868) The starter was replaced. The battery was replaced. It was a $956.65 charge for the service.

On 7/12/2022, the car failed to start, similar to the original issue, and she was stranded. We had to have it towed back to the same MIDAS. They said the NEW battery was BAD. They replaced it with a MEGATRON PLUS, Part # MTP96R. (Inv. #0153005).

Midas destroyed my engine, radiator and spark plugs due to a leakage complained about several times to them but not detected by them during unscheduled and scheduled Midas maintenance visits.

Coolant leakage inside my garage after serviced by Midas could have killed my AKC German Shepherd.

Called the district manager one-and-a half weeks ago. Contacted corporate one week ago after no reply from the district manager. No return call to date by either.

I was told from Dan when he call me about my car that he was going to refund me my money. This was on 5-30-22. I told him I was on the way to pick my car up and he told me to wait until he call me again cause someone left something on and it drain my battery.

I have touch bases with Dan on several occasions and he keep telling me it been sent out and it takes 14-21 day. It have been 41 day since he told me he was going to send it to me.

I would like to get this resolve as soon as possible. I am continuing to receive poor customer service.

I had a cylinder 3 misfire on my 2012 Dodge Ram. After taking it in for service they recommended replacing the the spark plug and ignition coil for the whole block. So, after putting almost $3000 in to that service, I was told if that didn't work, they would have to drill in to the motor.

Needless to say, a week later the engine light came on for the same cylinder 3 misfire. I took it back and they said I would be looking at around $4000 for the engine work. I upset because I saw in a Carfax report that the spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced before on the truck and the initial service that was done for $3000 should not have been done.

Maybe just replace the plugs and coils on #3 and see how it performed. They should not have recommended all the plugs and coils be replaced when…

This is not a complaint but, a compliment. The store located on S. Noland road in Infependence Missouri is awesome. I absoltely live the crew and especially the store manager Daniel. Excellent leadership with awedome customer service. As long as Daniel is at this location Midas will continue to be my first choice.

In November 2021, I took my car to Midas in Barstow, CA with a temperature issue. I was called and told I had a hole in my radiator. I had them change the radiator. In the beginning of March 2022, I started having temperature issues again.

I took it back to Midas, I told them after looking at it, the overflow reservoir was empty. I didn’t see any coolant on the ground, I was called and told that the radiator that was installed had a hole in the side.

00 to replace something that was defective. I received my Jeep back. I drove to work at Ft Irwin, and as I pulled to the gate my temperature gauge dropped from normal to cold after a 40 minute drive. I had some co-workers that are experienced mechanics take look at it and tell me what was happening sounded like the thermostat was stuck open.…

Went for an oil change, got told my cars needed $1,100 worth of work done. Was told the serpentine belt was dry rotted. Told I needed new rear brakes, but was told I had at least another 3000 miles before that needed to be done.

Attempted to get a wheel alignment on a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, picked up a vehicle notice that there was something wrong with the steering took it back to mitis where they said they touched it but they didn’t touch it. Vehicles on drivable now staff is very unprofessional. Very unhappy with the service that they performed and need this problem solved

I received pathetic and very very poor service from Midas king Williams town. Clarence Manager and staff on the floor refused to exchange item I bought from them . ITS SEEMS THEY NOT AWARE OF CPA . They need to be treated their loyal clients with dignity.

This is not acceptable

There is an african gentleman keep on interfering while I was talking to the supervisor. Staff seems not care about clients.
