my issue was never resolved. I took my car to two different locations 4 times and my brakes are still in the same condition and my alignment still is terrible as well. I paid a total $1200 and this is not acceptable service and now I have to take my car to the shop yet again for repairs that never were fixed.

I even took the car to Monroe muffler to get my brakes looked at as a part of my warranty and the rep did not even bother to really look at my car. I have all receipts still as well showing what was supposed to be done.

honestly If I could put zero stars I would because I paid too much money and it seems like nothing was really done to my car.

Brought my car in for tires I bought on tire and rack there website stated installation would be $78 dollars they wound up charging me more than double I had a wheel alignment done also when I brought vehicle in my apt was for 2 pm I dropped car off at 1:45 asked when car would be ready they told me around 1 hour maybe an hour and a half also told manager his name is John wright I have two lights on my dash board need to change sensors when I CALLED at 4pm my car still wasn't done got there at 5:45 my tires weren't even on my car when I got the bill it was $271 I asked why he said he had to do a diagnostic which I never asked for also he argued with me I said did you ever here the saying the customer is always right he said not here were not Walmart I said your not a good manager he said…

I want to do a motor oil change today and I requested regular motor oil into my vehicle and they told me I need it synthetic oil mandated into my car I explained to them that I've been doing regular motor oil for the last 10 years and they refuse to service me they told me I needed to leave and go somewhere else where there's a place in my car regular motor oil.

the individual behind the desk was very rude disrespectful and loud I felt offended discriminated against and have to leave with my vehicle that it's overdue for a motor oil change by almost 3,000 miles without getting a motor oil change

Was upset that after years of having my car serviced there and recieving synthetic blend oil and now being told i have to pay more for pure synthetic because the computer does not allow him to use synthetic blend in my car. He would not even give me the option to use synthetic blend he said no all i can put in your 2016 kia is full synthetic so i will no longer use your service

Gloria Reed July 12, 2019 I bought my Toyota Camry brand new in 1995. As the sole owner, I have kept up maintenance and tried to have it running well. , Columbus, OH, for an oil change. It was driven on the 10th and 11th.

On the 11th the engine locked up and stopped. At the house where the car stopped, the homeowner came out to help and looked under the hood finding that the oil filter cap had been left off. The cap was hanging on under the hood at the bottom of the front fender. We took pictures.

There was a lot of oil spattered around the engine. The tow truck driver removed the cap. We towed the car to Monro Muffler where they said they examined it, refilled oil and ran it. I picked the car up on June 17th.

This is the worst customer service I have ever received. I had a legitimate complaint about a specific Monro location and the customer service representative said that she would contact the store manager and call me back. She never called back as promised, and when I called her back she was completely unresponsive and actually quite threatening.

My advice as a result of this is to never do business with Monro or any of their affiliates.

My car was damaged in the Cochran Road Monro overnight parking while waiting to be inspected. This was in Pittsburgh, PA 15216 or 15228 zip last Sept, 2018! Since then I have been trying to get Bob, the manager and or Adam in claims to do the right thing by me and my car to no avail. I made the horrible mistake of taking my vehicle to Monro Store # 462 in North Olmsted, Ohio for suspension repair and an oil change. I asked the store manager for good quality shocks to be installed. Instead, Monro installed the cheapest shocks they could find. - Shock Part # 5672. I complained about ride comfort. The store manager promised to replace the shocks with “better ones” after I had the vehicle inspected by another reputable mechanic to check and verify Monro’s work.

On May 4 I had my oil changed at Monro service station in Wayne Pennsylvania. It took me 20 minutes to drive home from this service station after the work was done and another half an hour to drive around on Saturday May 8.

Only after 40 minutes of driving did I realize the oil fill cap on top of my engine block had not been replaced and oil was spitting all over my engine.

Also, the dip stick used to check the oil level had not been properly inserted. The car in question is a Mazda Miata with less than 7000 miles. com. Thank you.

I have been having our cars serviced at Monroe for oil changes for 3 years. 00 for an oil change and tire rotation $60 plus tax. 85 for the exact same service, I was informed the cost was now $60 plus tax.

Someone needs to follow up on this particular store. These charges I believe are inflated with no justification. Unless I can get a response to my complaints I will no longer be a customer at Monroe. The service manager I spoke with name is Russ Mczranor.

I just sent corporate an email, but will more than likely go nowhere. I was charged for tire rotation which wasn't done and was told I could not get a refund, but would credit it to my account for next time.

I told the 'manager' Ashley Meese that I had not planned on returning since I have had to stop back the past few times I've had an oil change because they do not turn of my maintenance light, which the did not do this time either. She said 'ok', turned and walked back into the garage where she had been smoking a cigarette upon my arrival.

I spoke to a manager at the Waterloo branch to have a friends truck inspected who was in the hospital at the time and he was very rude told me nope cant do it I have no inspectors here call for an appointment so I called the very next day to make the appointment like he had suggested and he was rude again and said nope cant do it we are booked and he hung up on me

I have been going here for 16 years and always deal with the manager Scott. He is amazing! He wasn't in today and I was quoted $1,000 to fix my car that we had towed there yesterday. I was quoted by 3 other garages because that didn't sound right and they were all 400-500 less.

I called and told the other manager I would be picking my car up and couldn't believe they were going to charge me that much and he informed me that he would give me back my keys for $60. Not only will I never go back but I will spread the word VIA social media so noone else gets ripped off!

99 for oil change, I went to Monro in Lowell, MA for an oil change yesterday, April 10, 2019. I felt I had been cheated and ripped off. 87. Monro is so dishonest by sending out an ostensibly good coupon as a bait with so many hidden expenses.

They may have ripped off from me close to $10 this time, but they've lost a customer forever. I've attached the receipt for your reference.

I have had my2005 Jeep Liberty at Monroe Tire and brake in Warren Rhode Island they were supposed to repair the catalytic converters but instead have caused other problems with my Jeep and have had my jeep apart three times each time failing to repair it I paid $1200 dollars to have it repaired and all they have accomplished is keep giving me excuses about not having the right parts I’am going to start legal action against your company if something isn’t done about I want what I paid refunded I do not trust the mechanic he does not have any training and

Crooks ripped me off and they almost burnt my car engine. On Feb 7th, I stopped at Monro Auto Service in Binghampton as my Subaru was leaking oil underneath and smoking somewhat. They said I needed a new oil pan and gaskets.

They kept the car over night as they did not have the parts. I noticed that when they delivered the car next day, it was still smoking but they said it was the oil residue from the day before that was burning off.

I asked - are you sure? 00. I got back on I-81 headed south for about 30 minutes and stopped at a rest area. The car was leaking oil just like if they had never fixed it with hardly any oil left in the pan.

I had to wait till next day and took the car straight to a Subaru dealer where they immediately identified the cause which was a leaking oil pressure…

This is my second e-mail i've sent, I hope that i receive some response to this as i really don't want to file a complaint with the dept. About a month ago i brought my jeep into your winsted ct. shop.

its about 1 foot long with 2 clamps. i asked him to replace the line and clamps and not to touch anything else,and call me before they did any work,as i work in a business next door to the shop.

After a minor accident on the side of the road I recently took a rim with a damaged tire to be replaced at a local Monro location in Pleasant Hills, Pa. It took an unusually long time but I had attributed that to the fact that it was Sunday and they were noticeably understaffed.

I took my rim and tire home and proceeded to remount it on my car and noticed it didn't quite align. After mounting the tire I called the shop because the wheel cap wasn't replaced. 00 for the tire and mounting it.

Had I not called in about my cap he would not have even mentioned it. I guess it is nice he mentioned it at all.

I went to Monro for an oil change on September 10 and I started to hear a strange noise in my car on December 16th. I manage to get an appointment at the dealership on the 18th of December and the mechanic said I need a new engine because I have been running my car with less than 20% oil and

they found lots of metal shavings and it was because the oil filter was not changed correctly and it leaked 4 quarts of oil. 17. in the lapse of three months and my engine needs replacement. I am holding Monro responsible and will need Monro to pay for the replacement of my engine.

I was at the Monro in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Allegheny River Boulevard location on August 10th 2018. While in the garage area talking to one of the three employees present on this day one being the service manager discussing needed work for a couple of my vehicles that were there a firecracker was thrown behind me to the left side of my head near my ear.

I initially thought it was a gunshot. After being startled and scared out of my life quickly jumping and moving to my right I turned around to the area in which the sound came from. I turned around only to be faced with an employee with a gun tucked in his waistline laughing along with the service manager as if it were a practical joke of some sort at my expense.

Robert Jordan,MONROE MUFFLER assistant MGR. called KIA to see if our warranty would pay for the repair they stated they would inspect the OIL PAN COMPLETELY DISATISFIED we left and went home immediately and parked our car in the garage not knowing that the OIL was leaking on garage floor overnite.

The next morning when my wife left for an appointment to bring the car to KIA. They were unable to do anything FRIDAY DECEMBER 7, the SERVICE advisor said MONDAY DECEMBER 10 would be the earliest to inspect the damage so we left the vehicle over the weekend

I recently had a friend check my oil a few weeks after my oil change and low an behold my oil was old; smelled like fuel and the dip stick was burnt. I have had my oil change every 5000 miles and they have been the only one to "change" the oil.

This could have cost me my motor. I am a woman and am tired of being ripped off.

On Oct 4th I went in Monro auto service at 314 Quacker road Queensbury NY 12804 with squeaky front brakes. They were quite fast to get my car in and replace the front brakes, with premium ceramic pad and total front brakes. 07 total including taxes.

One week later, however I returned to ask if the "squeaky" noise should still be present. The mechanic proceeded to take my car for a run and bring it back. He said it "should" "go away eventually". I said ok and left.

So now it's Oct 30th and the squeak is still there. " I aleady have tried to take it back with no results. My next best bet is to take it to the Toyota Dealer. But what I would like from your office is a little compensation for this situation.

I have been back and forth since April they were supposed to put a catalyst converter on and come to find out they put the wrong part on. My check engine light came on as soon as I left. I've been so aggravated that I had my fiancee call and I've called.

12 I took it back and the guys there told me that they had to keep the car until Tuesday which they had it 4 days before. This is my only transportation and I have to get back and forth to work.

They have no loaner cars. I call corporate and they don't want to setvice my car. This is a disgrace and they have not fixed my car or won't give me my money back. I guess I need to take them to small claims court.

On September 18th 2018 I had 4 new Goodyear tires installed and balanced at monroe muffler on Ohio river Blvd in sewickley, Pa 15143. I have been there over the years for oil changes and inspections. I have always had a good relationship with Joe the manager and no complaints about the service I recently.

On this visit however my Ford 2015 fusion key was not returned. I have 2 battery operated keys to my car. When I have service to my vehicle I give them the one which only has the car key. The other with my house keys etc I keep in my purse .

I was able to start my car when done with my primary key in my purse. I didn't notice that I didn't have the other key until my husband asked where it was. I looked through my purse, tried to start my car without the primary key to see if it had…

I had work done on my car it hasnt even been a year yet. I called yesterday because my tired are bald and i had gotten brand new tires and my check engine light was on again and he said what was it on for i said evap he said well we probably just cleared the light because we dont do that here.

My recent experience with Monroe Muffler was horrible. I called to make an appointment on Monday (07/30/18) at the Monroe location in Mt. Pocono PA, and the person who answered the phone said they were busy. He did take my name for a mid-week appointment, but he did not go on the computer to verify the appointment.

In the meantime, I went on the Monroe website and was able to make an appointment for Tuesday (07/31/18) at 10:00. When I arrived, the mechanic said that he could not honor that appointment, and told me that they were understaffed and not able to keep up with the work at the moment.

This is 2 separate incidences with 2 different cars but at the same auto repair (Monroe Muffler in Exeter Township).

The 1st incident by itself may not be enough for a case but it shows repeated mechanical negligence.

We brought our car into Monroe Muffler for an oil change and tire rotation.

When we drove home we noticed the front of the car shaking violently.

Luckily, we only live 1 mile away so we turned around and brought it back.

It turned out when they rotated the tires they put the lug nuts on but did not tighten them on 1 tire.

Just driving a mile was enough to crack the solid metal tire rim.

If we drove any further the tire would have flown off completely causing a major accident.

I have just been cashed out but my car still isn't done. i was told this shop closes at 7 and my car wouldn't done. I have not eaten and am trying to start a business. I do not have hours to hang at a garage.
