I love to shop but I own a business and my time is limited. Last week I went to Nordstrom to shop and found much of the store off-limits because of an upcoming sale. I was informed by a clerk that the day I was welcome to shop depended on my level as a shopper.
Not only is your promotion inconvenient but it is insulting. Who dreamt up this idea. I otherwise would have been spending money in your store that day. Instead, I left and went to another store. I wouldn't mind a promotion allowing credit card customer to presale items or a discount offered to the regular customer the day before a sale but this not a good idea.
