Norton was supposed to be one of the top anti-virus protections. When I changed my mind 3 days later due to technical issues, I attempted to call 4 times. Each time I had to explain the problem to a person with very limited English capabilities.

Very frustrating-and after coping with it-I asked for a supervisor. Each time I was told that wasn't possible, or no one was available. The fourth day I contacted my bank to stop payment, but was told the $30 had already been processed and my only option was to get a new bank card to prevent any further deductions.

I have told everyone I know about this, and consider this to be deliberate corporate greed. and manipulation

I contacted Norton support various times since I cannot access my password vault.

I tried the phone line and I could not get the verification code to appear. I tried different browsers and the button would not respond. The automatic answering continued to ask for the code and eventually disconnected.

I then tried the chat and tried several times. It took a few minutes before I could get through and automated chat to let me converse with a live agent. The agents in general at the beginning appeared to be concerned and were polite but as soon as they took over contro of my computer, their behavior was irrational and unprofessional. The first one was an agent that was recommending a quick fix but not responding to me plea. I requested to chat with a supervisor and Pulkit R joined the chat…

I purchased the Norton Anti-Virus through Best Buy July 2023. After 3 weeks, I had to remove it because I could not access the internet with Norton running. I asked Best Buy for support but they told me to call Norton.

I called Norton but they are too busy to help because they say the are dealing with a large data breach. My daughter will not put Norton on her computer because she is already aware of the problems with Norton.

I have a $25 nothing-burger.

Ive had norton antivirus for the past year and the auto renewed me today 8/5/2023 . I was not forewarned that this was going to happen . So they charged me $64 . 95 for another year and only informed me after charging me. of this.

I did not want this , but evidently I didnt go in and unsubscribe and wasnt aware I needed to do this. I also could not reach norton by phone. I want to cancel and get this charge removed but appears Im stuck with them for 1 year, but will never use them again.

Company sold me a year of VPN service, but it stopped working after a couple of months. After literally hours and hours of time wasted talking to different people in India, I couldn't even cancel the service and get my money back. Incredibly frustrating experience.

There are many good VPNs -- strongly recommend against Norton.

Norton has been ripping me off for months/YEARS. I'm gathering receipts and order numbers to send to my lawyer. A few years ago I found that Norton had 2 email addresses for me. I called them and went through a horribly long process of letting them know I have just ONE email that my Norton account should be associated with and remove the other.

As far as I knew this was done and I was all set. Last week, YEARS later I find that not only did Norton still had 2 email addresses, but they had 2 ACCOUNTS for me when I thought I had only 1 because that's ALL I NEED as one person with only 3 devices.

They also had another credit card I never authorized which they were charging the other account from. I contacted them and they acted like they had nothing to do with this. They escalated it to…

I tried to use Norton antivirus services , but didn’t work for my situation. Ok fine I paid yhe initial then requested to opt out of any future payments , but several months later I see a debit on my bank account from Norton for $ 75.

So I contact them and jump through their 1,000 hoops to get refunded and they say 6 weeks for it to come. Sounds like a really long time to me. So I waited. And waited and waited. But never came.

So I contact them again to which they apologize and make me jump through the 1,000 hoops again only to be told the same. Had to start all over for some mysterious reason. So o do this again and still NOTHING!

I recently purchased Norton Antivirus, the basic plan for one year. Anyhow, withing a week or so, I kept getting notices that my "memory " was full and i needed to purchase additional. Now I don't have anything vitally important on my computer as I use an external hard drive for things that are important to me.

In January of this year, Norton extracted a payment from my expired credit card to renew my Norton Premium. I had planned on cancelling my renewal but was away, on a trip and couldn't access my account however, I assumed (incorrectly) since my card had expired, they wouldn't be able to renew. They did!!!! On January 11, 2023 I had a live chat with one of their reps, where I explained that I had no intention of renewing and I didn't need 10 licenses. The rep was kind enough to suggest a different alternative in which I would keep Norton but for 5 licenses and be refunded €75.03 (euros) since I would be getting a new plan. I agreed and within minutes I received an email confirming our agreement and confirming the refund.

This was on January 11, 2023. Three months and endless live chats…

I called Norton regarding an issue with an external CD unit. Case #76208777 and the fist technician told me that the issue was the power chord. I called back and had another technician review the problem and he totally ruined the computer so much that I could not access it at all.

He told me I have to take it in to a computer repair shop now. It cost me $222 to have it repaired. I contacted Norton and talked to a lady who after having consulted with her superiors and they offered me 1 free month. That is #20. I said no way.

She said she would call me back which she never did. Now I am upset. Norton is not responsible for their mistakes? I am going to see if I can talk to someone regarding this problem the technician caused. Renewal is just around the corner.

I was a former customer of Bullguard, and came to be a customer of Norton only because Norton bought Bullguard. I have for a few weeks been using Norton 360, including its Cloud Backup feature. This feature allows backup to the Cloud but also to local storage.

I chose to use my network attached storage and not the Cloud because of the large amount of data involved. I used the feature to make an initial backup of my data, and this went well - taking about 24 hrs to complete.

The system then succesfully made several incremental back ups and seemed to work well. Today, when I tried to perform a backup, the system would not perform an incremental backup, but would only attempt a full one. I did not renew my subscription because I was looking at alternatives.

Then without my verbal or written consent, you took £114.98 from my account.

This is tantamount to theft, and I demand you credit my account immediately.

In these modern times of free will, people should be left to make their own choices.

There, are several security protection systems on the market. The majority of which, are substantially cheaper than yours.

I will not be strong-armed into accepting something that I didn't want and had no intention of buying it.

I have attempted to update my phone for months and since I elected the two step verification on my account, I am unable to update the phone number, but you are able to keep renewing my membership. That don’t sound right.

There should be something in place to assist a person, without causing them to just set up a new account. I am trying to cancel my membership because of this and can’t even do that.

I have Norton screen care coverage on one of my phones and have sent every correspondence I've had with the company BLU that they are able to provide me with which should be sufficient to prove that I sent the phone to them for repair, paid the fee and it was returned. Norton will not accept the receipt BLU provided me with for some reason or the emails staying it was received, fixed and sent back.

I did not sign up for a product renewal, my renewal was to take place in December. 99. I went home canceled my service. It took 3 weeks to get it back from my bank who doesnt understand that Norton wasnt owed that money, product renewal was still a month away.

I finally got that taken care of and now its February 2023 and your taking money out of my account again. I will never use you again. And I will get my money back that you stole

Each time it comes round to renew norton 360, which normally works well for me keeping junk minimal, but one to two months from renewal date norton 360 let's junk, spoff dating apps, semi porn infest my email account, but then returns it to almost nothing after I renew norton 360, But at my witts end with norton, if they don't stop bombarding now I will go elsewhere as I've had enough of this treatment, sot it now if you want my custom.

When my Norton 360 antivirus autorenewed on Nov. 59 I cancelled my subscription. I waited until Nov. 28 to receive credit back to my card. When I did not receive a credit I contacted Norton customer service. The agent told me they were issuing the credit and gave me an RMA#.

I have since contacted customer service six times and each time been told that the previous attempt to issue the credit had failed and the credit would be reissued. And I was given a new RMA# (I now have six).

As of today I have still not received the credit and I can find no way to escalate my problem to someone with the authority to resolve it.

Just been shifted from bullguard premium to Norton. Week ago norton send me email saying about migration and that I'll get same equivalent product or better. Got worse one and norton and bullguard wash their hands. Even now on main website of bullguard says- same or better after shifting.

I can't seem to get through to supervisors, and the csr's continue to hang up on me or send me to a phone that no one answers. Don't buy this product. My computer was hacked into using this software. I was told that it may be an "inside job" whatever that is.

The Norton Geek Squad Technical Support team in San Diego California scammed me out of tens of thousands of dollars on the pretense they were correcting an error on my account. I called Norton customer service today because I was unable to get into my Norton vault for my passwords. I have had this account for several years and now that they are telling me that you cannot reset the password manager vault ever.

So once you reset your password you are unable to ever change the password on the vault. This is the most asinine application I have ever heard of. They expect people to remember the same password their whole entire life even if something happens to their phone or their passwords get wiped off of their phone.

I recorded every word of this conversation with the lady from Norton.

I have received very poor service from the technical department in India. Following a computer tune up I encountered problems with my computer which couldn't be resolved with System restore. I was told that my my Windows 10 was corrupt and needed to be reinstalled.

During the process, I lost a number of applications, especially Microsoft Office Version 2016 The technical personnel in India refused to reinstaLL THE APPLICATION UNLESS I PAID A FEE. even though it was not due to a fault on my part.

During my dealings with the technical staff in India, I was assured on a number of occasions that my problem had been escalated to Level 2 section and that I would receive a call. I NEVER received a callback on at least 6 or 7 times.

I always had to call back and speak with a technical person…

The product seems to work well enough. My company pays for this product so I don’t have skin in this game. If I were paying for this product , I would find a different virus protection. They use deceptive business practices.

This is not a good look for a company that says it is protecting you…they seem to get more sketchy each year. Be sure to find the automatic renewal part of your account and cancel it. Read the fine print.

On the advice of my computer service technician, I had to remove Norton 360 because it was slowing down my computer and taking up bandwidth. I purchased this product on January 12, 2022 and removed it July 2022. I have requested a refund for the unused months on my subscription, and am being refused.

Failure to refund the unused portion of my subscription amounts to theft.

I've had LifeLock for over 10 yrs. Today I found out that they no longer support transaction monitoring of my financial institution after logging in the review my accounts. None of my accounts previously monitored were listed. They no longing support transactions from my financial institution and I was never notified. I don't understand why they would drop a institution previously monitored. In short my complaint:

NortonLifelock dropped transaction monitoring of my financial institution and did not notify me; they claim they cannot give me a refund for the remaining 6 months remaining on my annual payment; they claim there was no complaint department (I found this site myself via Google); they claim they cannot give me any email or contact information of persons on the management team…

When I turn on VPN on my Computer Microsoft Stop Code, blue screen, cuts in and shuts the computer down and reboots. Start again and same thing happens.

One of your men took over my computer yesterday and spent over 2 hours trying to correct the fault. Case No. 71068008. STILL NO GOOD. On our tablets it bars sales outlets for our shopping so again had to turn off.

I tried several times to come back re. the Case No. but couldn’t get past the stupid virtual Katie. Tried always – “don’t understabd”

My Computer is a Lenovo as are our 2 tablets, I see from Google that your VPN does not work on Lenovo, if this is the case why don’t you say so when selling the product or your man say when he was remotely operating the computer.

I have just added Norton Anti-Track to my subscription, and received the emails re charges and a successfully updated account. However since uploading this product, I am unable to send of receive emails?? Even a test email to myself. I have been unable to find a complaints sections or anywhere that I can find assistance.

I realized that I had not cancelled my Norton Antivirus after acquiring McAfee. Norton’s policy is to renew annually. The issue I have with them is that they require cancellation within the first 60 days of the following year. If you do not cancel in the first 60 days they require you to be locked in for the remaining 10 months.

Also, I had to go through a text conversation with a guy, Amad, that did not communicate very well. He even got his supervisor, another Indy named guy, and it just got worse. Norton’s customer service is absolutely horrible!! Good product, but please improve your customer service.

You will lose so many people with this kind of shenanigans.

This is the second time I have used you in the past 10 years,I should have woke up after the first use disasters I had. I cant work the password manager,It seems to delete my existing passwords and your generated passwords don't work so the sites i want to visit all come up with wrong password even though they are correct,I have to re do all my accounts that nortons stuffed up.

In my whole time working with computers I have never had so much problem with any other software until now. When I first installed it it seemed to work OK but kept on demanding I pay extra for additional software after scans were run.

I payed over $180au for this and would expect all available software to be included in this huge price. So please cancel and delete all my accounts and subscriptions,auto renew etc…

VPN Doesn't work. Called Norton 3 times - has raised it to level 2 and NO one seems to know why VPN doesn't work. Also their product won't let updates to my One Drive - their cloud backup is too small and useless to me. Had to turn it off.

They took control of my computer and could NOT find the issue. I have no torrent apps running. I reinstalled the product - as suggested - doesn't fix it.

Calling Norton is horrible. First they are off shore and my hearing issue and their accent don't work well together. Second they are RUDE. Continue to interrupt as if they know what I'm going to say and more often than not they don't. Need to learn how to listen. About ready to get rid of Norton - been with them for over 25 years and try a new product that works.

I have used Norton for several years. Last week I had my first 2 requests for help. It was very difficult to find the appropriate support. Neither On Line Chat nor self help would solve the problems. I want someone (not a computer) to contact me to resolve what I think should be simple questions.
