Orkin is not honoring the contract. We purchased a dehumidifier and renewed the maintenance contract this year. They did an inspection in July and said they needed to replace the filters and clean the pump. There was four appointments made and each time no one came. No phone call, nothing.

Reached out to them and when they do answer their phones we keep getting promises they will call back to set up a new appointment and then we never here from them. They keep saying the filters are back ordered.

However, I called the dehumidifier company and was told the filters are available. It has been very difficult to get in touch with them. The manager is a joke. Very poor customer service. This is the Albany NY branch. Worst company I have ever delt with.

We've been with orkin for a year and I just recently closed my account. For one I have yet to see an improvement the last service tech that was out refused to spray he only wants to use powder all fine and dandy but I am not seeing any improvement in fact I am seeing more bugs than in the past.

The final straw came with our last service appointment which was last Monday. m. m. due to work schedules. m. m. on Monday the 14th of August. m. came and no tech. I had called several times before I was able to get a hold of somebody at the main office that services is who said the tech should be on his way she then said he was running behind 15 minutes.

I was more upset that the tech couldn't bother to call or text to tell me this and I had to call. I agreed to wait the extra 15 minutes in…

My appointment was on July 15, 2023 between 10am-12 noon. I call Orkin 3x asking when tech will arrive. Each time I was given a later time due to the service guy running late and they will send him a message to contact me when he’s on his way, it’s now 1pm. Orkin did not show up and I never received a call.

I have a contract with Orkin with an automatic payment. This is unacceptable. I will be calling headquarters for a full refund!

I paid almost $3,000.00 to have bats removed from my home. I heard nothing for about 6 weeks, then could hear them in walls again. I contacted Orkin several times before they finally returned my call. They finally came and fixed some spots on my roof. Again, about 6 weeks later I can hear them again. Have sent multiple messages to Billy Shepherd out of Cedar Falls, IA with NO response. Right now I am hearing bats in the walls very clearly. Why is no one responding to me? I thought Orkin had a better rep than this!!!

Had a fun conversation with somebody named Steve he was the orkin representative who came out and did a pest inspection on property I was selling. He was informed to send the bill to the buyer since the buyer ordered the inspection, the address is 5316 Spearpoint Weed California 96094.

530-624-3079 is the phone number that sent the text. He threatened to put a lien against the property if I didn't pay him he ended up calling me a cunt and saying that I'm the type of person that wouldn't pay his bill anyways, he's kind of figured me out he said.

This seems unfortunate and unnecessary, he had plenty of time to get his bill into the real estate agent so that it would be paid through escrow, how that didn't happen is not my business or even my concern. I'm going to leave it to Orkin to…

Contacted Orkin to get an animal out of my wall. They came said I had bats and mice said they would remove said bats and mice also remove clean and replace insulation and fix all entry points . 00 quite a bit for what was done and all that was said to be done was not I still have critters in my wall the reason I called in the first place.

I have called several times with complaints a gentleman came out one time and was supposed to call me on Monday he did not. I then went to the Merrillville Orkin office and spoke to him in person he apologized for not calling and said he would be at my house on Monday on Monday he called and

said he had an emergency and would come today,Tuesday he never called and never showed up. I am certainly very unhappy and would like someone to get the work done…

I canceled this service on March 7, 2023 and a tech showed up the following week to perform a service. I told him I had canceled the service and he said he had to do something as it was already paid for. He also told me he was taking the bait box on this same day. I then received a bill from Orkin in April for 2 months of service - when I canceled the service on March 7. So I paid $108.00 in January for January and February and then was billed $108.00 in March for March and April. If I paid for April, I should have been able to keep the bait boxes until the end of April. The bait boxes were removed March 7th.

This company is a scam...they require 30 days notice to cancel but do not provide service through the cancellation date.

I have had a terrible time in billing from Orkin at the Springdale Arkansas office. They performed service on February 15, 2023 and today March 3, 2023. I received a bill that I had not paid. They were supposed to charge my credit card.

I’m told by the Springdale office that this crossed in the mail how can it cross in the mail from February 15 to March 3. Orkin customer complaint department does nothing to correct the problem like this. I’d like to hear from someone.

Very rude customer service in the Modesto California branch. I waited five hours for them to show up nor did they show up or call. The following week they show up with no call, but just showed up and sprayed the house at my elderly sister’s house. Very bad customer service.

I set up a visit with Orkin but the day we scheduled I ended up having to work. I called and told them I had to cancel a d they said it was fine and that I could call back and reschedule for another time.

Fast forward a few days later and they charged my debit card they had on file for services hat were never done at my house. I tried calling to get my money back, but they just wanted to reschedule the visit.

I told them Bo and I went somewhere else, and I still haven't gotten my money back from them.

Was having issues of what I thought was termites in my house. I called and ask for someone to contact me to come to my house to check baits and my interior. I have been a customer since 2019 and have only had 1 inspection inside my home until this happened.

However got a email saying they checked around my house on 12/29/22 with no phone calls to me and no paper left in my door just an email saying everything was fine. Guess they didn't realize I have camera's all around my home that shows they were never here.

Made an appointment , was supposed to be between 12:00-2:00, didn’t get here till 2:30. When I called specifically said I needed carpet beetles and mites addresses. I was told they would spray for anything creepy or crawly and not to worry it will be taken care.

It was a complete joke, I picked orkin because of the name, big mistake. Several others. Could have called and would have done the job they said they would do. I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone of the poor quality work orkin does.

That’s a shame as it’s always been the top for people to go to. I would suggest that the employees are trained to do the job required or the orkin will go down the tubes. My understanding is it’s a franchise , the best do something about the quality of work performed or there will be no work…

50 for this year and I have paid in full for the year. My bill is not due until 1-01-23.

Also he made a big mistake with my under the house work which I paid with my payment for 5 years to come out and check this that was done in August. But no he wanted to come out and do termite at the same time in February.

Who checks termites in February? I am upset with all of this that is going on with Orkin in West Columbia SC. Something needs to get right or I am going to end my contract with Orkin.

I had a couple rats under my front porch so I called orkinto get rid of them. The first person came and said he would send another person to check out the rats and he would put up barriers around my front porch.

He also said he would be by once a month to check. Well never saw hide nor hair of him either. The 2 nd person came and he put maybe two feet of wire and maybe 4 ft of insulation and charged $841.

The rats came back two days later I've called and called and called several times I finally got a hold of someone I talked to the manager and he said he would be out this afternoon. Well he never came, not even a phone call.

This company sucks and it will not go unreported. I will take this as far as I have to. I've never complained about a company in my life and I'm not a young man…

I had a bedbug problem. So i called the best. Orkin. So i thought. I scheduled a bug tech. Allgood came out and did his thing. Iasked him when will they be out? He said theyll get a hold of me(i was given a list of things i needed to do.

Of course i got it done. 1 week after the visit I called them. And i told them no one called or emailed me. they will call you back. Well no call i had to get mad at the lady on the phone.

Referring to the Kalamazoo franchise: My service techs have all been very professional, cordial, and down-to-business.

HOWEVER, I am totally disenchanted with the poor communication system in place. The techs do not get the information I've repeatedly sent via telephone (voice mail, NEVER a live person answering the phone) and email. Again today a tech came to perform the service but I'd tried for two days to be sure the service was cancelled; he never got any notification.

Since I have autopay, now I must be sure that I don't pay for nonservice. I'm seriously considering cancelling the service all together due to the unacceptable noncommunication.

Worst company. Unreliable and not dependable. No one ever answers the phone. Appointments are changed to Orkin’s convenience. If you do reach someone they will update your appointment and still get it wrong. It’s a problem every three months. Seriously, time to move on not worth the trouble especially when the liquid being used to exterminate seems to be watered down like whiskey.

Technician (Tim) is good and he tried hard to solve issue as much as he can. When requested to speak to his manager (Hernandez) never returned calls. Samantha Slater is Branch service manager is even worst. She promised not to charge any more and she she does it and when you call she will says i will call you back and never returned call. When I spoke with the salesperson, I was told that Working would seal off the entry as needed so mice couldn't crawl up to the attic and inside the walls and that an attractant would be put down to draw them away from these areas. It has been two weeks and the mice are still crawling to the attic and the cardboards with the attractant hasn't been touched.

00 to close up the entryways to keep them out. I also was told the mosquitos and insects would be eliminated. It is two weeks later and nothing has happened and I'm told that the tech cannot spray for the pests or put down anything at this time, that they have to wait 4 weeks to retreat the areas.

I was not told this by my sales person. I was told that if I had a repeat problem just call and they'll come back out.

We had our home tented last week with Orkin. The inspector Derrick Nesbitt they sent out was incredibly rude when I called him to ask a few more questions prior to the tent going on (around home security). He spoke to me as if I were ignorant for being concerned about the security of my home, we had already signed the contract, so I went with it.

After the tent went on, we came home to water our backyard plants and noticed they dug 8/9 holes in our backyard with our shovel and used our dirt to weigh the tent down. That was never mentioned to us.

Upon returning home when the tent came off, some of the holes were not filled in at all, and the others were kind of filled. Also, our gas was never turned back on.

I called the inspector to ask why they dug holes and why our gas was not turned…

I have had Orkin preventive service for the past 4 years or so. my technician would come the first Saturday of every other month starting with April. This was perfect for me and worked great. The Technician, Travis, has been super and is an asset to Orkin.

This year service was started on the first Saturday in April as usual. As my June application approached, I sent a text to Travis to tell him we would not be home when he arrived and to be careful not to spray around our grapevines that are on the house.

He replied that I was not scheduled for the first Saturday in June, but for June 16th. I said ok. On June 16th about 3:30pm I called the local office and was told I was not scheduled for that day but for June 21st.

My scheduled appointment for early morning was missed today. I called the local office located in Pearland, Tx during the later hours of the morning to report the over site. The customer service representative, Jo reported an error occurred and my appointment was scheduled for the pm hours.

I am very dissapointed in your service I have had Orkin sincel augusy 2021. They come every other month and I even had an inspection. Not once did any of the technicians check the floor drain nor did they check the crawl space in the basement I had another company come out and do an inspection.

He discovred that rodents had dug burrows under the stone in the crawl space. That's where I have been catching the rodents. Why wouldn't your technicians check that area? they should have done that from the very first visit.

also, apparantely the rodents have also came up thru the floor drain, which there is now a cover over that. I just can't believe that all these months, not one of your guys have checked those areas. My contract is up in august…

I cant believe this compamy can stay in business with the way we were treated showed up to do a spray (was told pet friendly)made my little dog so so sick called the person who gave me the quote and got the run around they have showed up several times unannounced recorded on my ring when i am not home and put stuff on my yard without my approval.

I have reached out to the district manager and havent got a call back from him. When i call to get explanation on everything all I do is get the run around. If u have the chance to use another company do so this company is overpriced and does not communicate with their customers

I would like to make a formal complaint against a service center rep at the Bensalem branch for orkin who basically calling me a liar. The audacity of her to tell me because her system didn’t show my direct phone number in the system for the dates I stated that I didn’t call.

Not sure where to start!! When we first signed up with Orkin to get service they gave us a date they would start. They never showed or called, this happened two more times till they actually showed up but when they did show up it was unannounced.

I have three apartments I rent out above where I live so I had them all expecting orkin to show up and they were waiting on them and almost every time they either didn’t show up at all or not when they said they would. The first time Orkin came to treat my rental duplex for roaches they were told repeatedly not to spray. One of my tenants is a cancer patient who had just been discharged from the hospital. Her dr specifically told her she could not come home if they were going to spray.

I called Orkin to make sure. I was told only gel would be used. The day of the treatment my other tenant called me and said they are spraying. He had sprayed the other side of the duplex before I could get him to the phone and tell him to stop!

The next time Orkin came to treat the duplex one of my tenants had been exposed to covid so he treated one side only. We rescheduled. The price came out of my checking account. Ok. Today was the scheduled treatment.

Requested a technician to come and spray for an infestation of red wasps. This is my elderly parents home and my mother is highly allergic. The wasps were getting into the house. After one week of waiting, a nicely dressed man showed up with contract options but NO chemical.

That would have to be scheduled to be done AGAIN! I explained the urgency of the situation when I first called and still a salesman was sent in place of a technician. He got sent on his way and we called an individually owned company that took care of the problem.

I thought this company would be their best option but I was wrong.

Orkin has yet to complete service for Termites yet send me a bill. They haven’t ever come out to do Services they were hired to do. When I call to speak to someone they tell me they’ll tell person higher above and get all scheduled.

Well here we are almost a month and no one has come out to do anything. I’m getting ready to hire another company cause my home is being invaded by termites. Poor customer service and don’t do as stated.

We choose Orkin out of 4 companies we got estimates from, even do you were almost $2,000 more than the rest, because you were recommended as the best to us. I am 76 years old and have an infestation at home that we’re keeping me awake and unhappy, so I needed help.

I wasn’t charged for services I did not receive. Your service claims to come out if there any problems and that is not the truth. For two weeks I got eaten alive and your company would not come back out.

And then you turned me over to a collection agency for nonpayment. Darn right I’m not going to pay someone for services I haven’t received! I’d rather the collection agency get half of What you charged me for that I didn’t receive!!!

I called on Friday, July 17 to have someone come out to my home as soon as possible for a raccoon problem I talked with a representative and she said that someone will come out to my home the very next day his name would be Bob in a Orkin truck between 10 and 12 o’clock. He never showed!

I called again to see what happened and that rep said he was in route give him 5mins, still no Bob! I called a third time and that rep said that the first two reps I talked to shouldn’t have told me that a tech would be coming in the first place.

IM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM IN THIS COMPANY. I thought I was calling a reputable company that could stand behind their name and I got nothing put poor service and a waste of my time!!

When I first started your service it was to do the inside of my house's. The last 3 time's only the outside was done & I never got a invoice. When I called to complain & ask for a refund for your last visit only, I was told: "you don't do the inside unless it's requested".

Really that is the main reason I had your service & you had always done the inside. That is not good business and so I canceled my service after 3+ years. I still think you should refund my last payment.

we have been trying to get someone out to our house for over a month. We finally had set up an inspection for yesterday. I received voice mail saying the the inspector (Scott), could not make it. We called the office and we were told that the inspector would have his pay docked and not to let him in because he was late.

How are we going to solve this problem ? We are getting more infested buy the day. We have 4 dogs and 2 grandkids. We are not living in a healthy home. We are living with bed bugs and need help.
