On Oct. 9 2021 I was scheduled for an appt. at the Grove CIty, Oh store on Stringtown Rd. I arrived early. I did not have a clean paper mask to wear during my visit. Instead of having them out for people to use this store chose not to have any out.

I was asked if I had one. I replied that I didn't. Instead of someone grabbing me one and carrying on with there customers I was told I had to "wait outside" for someone to bring me one. I was nowhere near anyone without a mask on.

I have been to the hospital and wasn't told to "wait outside" I simply grab a mask and go on. The woman who decided to tell me this could have just asked told her customer just one second and grabbed me a mask.

I understand the need for a mask in a medical setting. I was at the front door nowhere near the medical…

I have been a customer of Oearle Vision for many yrs in CT and in Mt Pleasant. SC. I bought two pairs of sunglasses and had the lens changed on my glasses I bought from Pearls in Mt Pleasant SC.

When replacing the prescription lenses on my old pair I asked the women if she thought the frames were ok and she confirmed they were. When I picked the glasses up some of the coating was pealing off. I asked the women about and her reply was they were three yrs old.

The peeling has continued and I’m facing new frames and glasses after spending over a $1000 dollars. If had know I would have bought new frames. I request that this store make my situation right. Thank you David Garrell

This is what I wrote on Yelp. I will post this review in 48 hours. I ask for arbitration in this matter. In addition, United Healthcare has been alerted to this experience and has recorded that any attempts to bill will be rejected.

Will I return to Pearl Vision...??? You tell me why I would want to return to a location that is not SAFE, has rude staff, and needs to be overhauled? I am a doctor and my office staff would never speak to anyone like I observed today.

Read the reviews on Yelp before you answer me, please. They are either 1 or 5 stars...with snarky responses by the office manager. This place needs help. Your name and reputation is being tarnished by the owners of this office. Again, I ask for arbitration with this matter.

Pearle Vision overcharge me almost 300 dollars, on glasses and contacts that should have been covered by my insurance. This has been over a month and I am still waiting and getting the run around. Because I paid by check they tell me they can not issue me a refund and I will have to wait 3 weeks for the refund to be processed.

At your Novi Mi store today your servicer, Ann, refused to give me a Saturday or Friday appointmentl, and not only did she say this I no a mean tone, she added that Corporate said to do this. Her reason was that I missed appointments. I'm dealing with several illnesses, including breast cancer, nevertheless, I didn't deserve a poor reception..

Location:5274 Salem Ave, Trotwood, OH 45426... I have been trying to get my glasses since March 2021. I have had all kinds of issues from the frame being bent bent when I picked them up, prescription wrong, 1 lens only with transition and this last time Bifocals off.

picked up again 7-27-21 and the entire focus is blurry. Calling today 7-28-21 to request a NEW pair of glasses be provided.

Purchased wired framed glasses and right lens keeps popping out. Had to go into store 7-8 times this past yr to fix them, but still same problem. Left a few messages for owner / optomotrist to call me, but never returned call. I decided to file complaints on BBB etc if something not done. Worst experience I ever had with frames. Never buy wired frames again.

After waiting two months for my July 3rd appointment the trotwood Ohio store set up and getting two different confirmation/reminder text the previous week I drove an hour to my appointment at 12:20pm July 3rd 2021 only to find the store is closed in observance of the holiday……..then don’t schedule the damn appointment!!!!!!!

Went got eye exam doctor great.order a pair glasses waiting on them to get the prescription correct now on third pair.have called Fairfield office .about by pair.no call back if I do not have my pair by Friday I will come and get my money back. If this doesn’t work it will be a big problem.

I use be a customer of Eyemart, and I mean for years and now that your company Pearle Vision has taken over it has been a complete nightmare! When you call the store In Springfield Ohio on Bechtle Ave, no one ever answers the phone and when you leave a message, there are absolutely no return calls!

Employees are extremely rude to customers and I don't think that you can repair the relationship with the customers! I have placed a comment on Facebook and it has had on overwhelming amount of complaints ! So my question is to you what are you going to do?

The hours are shorted and days are as well!

I have sent a complaint to you last year and again in January. I'm sure you have record of it from Pearl Vision Rushmore Crossing 1612 Eglin St. Rapid City SD 5770. Last May after waiting for my insurance for 6 months I went to Pearl Vision to have my eyes examine.

The Dr used these little glass things to figure out my prescription. As I was looking so forward to having my eyes checked and getting new frames and my new prescription. Getting them I couldn't see out of either pair regular and sunglasses.

I told the girls when I picked them up that we were going to have grandchildren and were going to leave to take the grandchildren back and they agreed. When I got back the 30 days was close to expiring.

I went to the Pearl Vision in Alpharetta (Sat 7th Dec) and asked to get lenses for my new progressive prescription. On Friday 13th Pearle Vision called and said they broke my frames. Went in on Saturday and the agreed to replace the frame but I am still waiting while the source the frame. Was told this frame has been discontinued and they can get onel like it. My complaint is I am still waiting and would like the same frame - if they are not able to provide the same I would like compensation and a refund for my lenses? They have refused to provide compensation for my broken frames and want this to be resolved?

Please advise on my options?

Went to the location inside of crossroads mall portage mi. They are so rude with kids. I did not feel Comfortable there at all. We got told a couple different prices from each person. We do not have insurance we are lying out of pocket.

So we went back today Becuase we were not comfortable buying from scammers or even giving are business to someone who couldn’t handle my child crying. They kept rolling there eyes non stop. My two boys were dancing around crayons she pointed to one of the lady’s to go get them they picked up the crayons with out saying a word.

I don’t know how children are welcome there if that’s how they act. My husband went back today to get the pupil distance and the one lady told him hold on let me get it and the other lady came up in said no we don’t have to get it…

Dear Sir or Madam, My experience at Pearl Vision was minus 5 on a scale of 1 to 5 at the Peal Vision in Roswell, Georgia. The customer service at the Roswell, Georgia store was horrific. I called just after the store opened, hoping it was a time when it would be less busy.

I requested a copy of my prescription from my eye test as well as a copy of the purchase information for the purchase of two pairs of glasses in 2007. I was put on hold 4 times for extended amounts of time and finally the clerk confirmed she had the records and was looking at them on her computer.

This took a half hour to achieve. She said she would email the records and when they didn't arrive in my email, after 45 minutes, I called back. At that time, I spoke to two or maybe three different clerks who all said…

Very bad service at the front desk. Receptionist wouldn’t listen to me about my overcharged issue even though she admitted not telling me about it before. She became very agitated and loud in front of all the customers. It’s a shame, because I used to like going there, not again!

I came in to the store to pick up my glasses today. I put them on and realized I did not like them. I told them i was not taking them. I wanted them to return them. They told me I had 30 days to get restyled.

I told them i wanted to take my business elsewhere. I paid for them on top of what the insurance was paying. They stated that the insurance already paid for them and so now I need to wait until january for new glasses.

I also found out my husband when he came in for his exam today was charged 35 dollars for a test that the dr said he had to have because of being diabetic. He was told that it would be covered under insurance.

My initial appointment for contact lens was August 1. I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for my trial lens, during which time I called the Glassboro NJ store twice to find out why they were not in after the 3 to 4 day timeline I was given.

When I finally got my lens, the left lens was totally wrong; it was not even a lens for astigmatism. The doctor insisted on reexamining my left eye with the incorrect lens in and a different lens was ordered. This new lens took over a week to arrive.

It was not the correct lens due to the exam being done with an unknown lens in the eye. I was given another appt with the eye doctor on Aug 29. This time I insisted that the exam be redone on the left eye without any contact lens.

The result was the same as the initial exam. New trial lens were ordered at this…

Went to see DR N Wiederholt at PEARL vision in Rapid City SD. He examined my eyes and prescribed my contact lense strength and contact lense fit. The lense prescription was good but the contact lense fit for the right eye was not correct.

He tried twice to correct the lense but was unsubsessful. I have the original lenses he prescribed and the right lense rubs all the time. After two to three months I stoped by this see if the other doctor in the office would see me to see if he could perhaps find a better fit.

Dr T Robinson he refused to take a look to see if a fresh perspective could fix the ill fitting contact lense. He didn’t want to because it might offend DR Wiederholt . Really !!! So they took my money but did it provide the service.

I will have to pay another doctor to assist me…

When senior citizen need glasses I would never recommend you. My mother paid over $400 for 2 pairs of glasses. We went back by your saharra store to get them adjusted & have firm filled outfit DMV. Due to the fact the doctor who did the exam was just filling in.

So we were told that dr was atthe tropicanna location. Now we wait to have the form filled out. I will never recommend this establishment to any. Over rated & over priced

I have been purchasing my glasses at Pearle Vision since 2009. In 2013 I was involved in a car accident that left me with migraines. Since the accident I was unable to wear the glasses I bought at Pearle Vision because they caused me headaches or made existing headaches far worse.

The last four pairs of glasses I bought at Pearle Vision since 2013 caused me significant grief. I went into the store to inquire why the glasses I purchased there were causing me problems, quite a number of times actually, I was told I was sensitive.

Very professional, accommodating, pleasant, and concerned with doing the best she can by her customers. The problem is, you no longer have an optician available on all days or even at all times you are open. RIDICULOUS!!!

Imagine a pharmacy with no pharmacist on certain days. It doesn't happen, 1) because it would stupid, and 2) it's not legal for obvious reasons. Imagine any professional service based business without the primary service professional being there. I am in the men's suit business.

I received an e-mail on February 27th 2019 to confirm my eye exam at the Tukwila Eyecare Center located in Tukwila, Washington for March 19 2019 at 11:00 am. The e-mail states this eye exam is confirmed. A few days later I received a postcard that reads to hold your appointment it’s important that you call to confirm your appointment for March 19th at 11:00. I called a few days later and was told I did not have an appointment for that day.

After visiting the office today I was told that the e-mail did not confirm my appointment.I find this very upsetting since I made the appointment a year ago. This is horrible customer service using an e-mail approach that does not work. Why confirm if you are really not confirming an appointment to anyone?

Jackson, Michigan pearle vison's manager is very rude. Her name is Kelly. My husband had to get safety glasses for work. There were only 2 choices. So he picked the better of the 2. He received 1 pair of side shields with his glasses.

When they finally came in and we picked them up, we ordered 3 more pair of side shields. So long story short, after 2 weeks, I called to see if they were in. Was informed they do not make that specific frame anymore so the side shields are not available for ordering.

But wait, Kelly says she is going to re-order them or look at other stores. So now 4 weeks later she says we can order you new glasses so you can have side shields. I said there were only 2 pair offered.

I called them up and tried to tell them that I forgot that I have the coupon, now they don’t want to honor the coupon. It is a valid coupon from pearl vision expiration date 3/2/2019. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and I. When I got to the store; the actual store was not aware of my appointment. There basically accused me of lying. Then, determined the store is closed that day and the messaging service did not to their point.

This was only after many rude statements which was embarrassing. Then, we had to wait. The store closes at 4 pm and felt rushed to pick up glasses. To the point I declined picking a pair. My daughter rushed and picked something out.

Not really what she wanted. This was on Saturday at closing. I called Monday morning and was rudely told I can not cancel the glasses. I am not happen with the customer service and thought I can not cancel the glasses.

This stipulation was never mentioned.

I was in at the Elkhart Road, Goshen IN store the Beginning of Dec. for an appointment where I purchased a years worth of contacts. As of today January 17, I still do not have them. Everytime I call the employees are nice but they do not call back when they say they are looking into it and today I found out that my items are on back order.

It would not have been a big deal if the communication was better. I am really disappointing in the communication. At this point I do not feel as if it is important to make this right. So I am currently with out contacts, due to my trials being 6 weeks old and I cannot even put them in without my eyes stinging (which I normally would be wearing daily)

I purchased a $600 pair of glasses. I have very poor vision. Especially in one eye. I believe my left lens was poorly made. After only about 3 months, the inner coding started to peel off. In the left lens. Reps.

Tell me there is nothing they can do about it. I have never seen this happen. I have been a customer almost 10 years. Very loyal. And this is the best that can be done for me. Very disappointed $,600 dollars is a lot of money to me.

This is the second complaint this year for the same Jackson Pearl Vision. I took my Oakley Glasses back again, to be fixed and it took another 4 weeks to be fixed. They lost them and than called my husband, not me because as the Manager Kelly said "She wrote number on a scratch paper and must have thrown it away", and that is why she called my husband".

On 10 4 18 had appointment at pearl vision in van wert ohio with a doctor Milena Stekly she imform me with no doubt that i had fuchs endotheliae corneal dystrophy . She put me on muro 128 eye drops.

On 10 18 19 went back for followup she referred me to doctor pjkai eye surgeon for appointment. At the time i asked her are you for sure she replied no doubt i had fuchs . Well i was scared to death went to eye surgeon on 10 26 18 he said quit the eye drops that nothing showed i had fuchs.

I feel i deserve a refund in full for the glasses and exam she gave me.

I have multiple complaints about the Pearle Vision in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. I bought my sons glasses there and the warranty. No one informed me that if his glasses broke that there would be a copayment. I feel like if that is the process then that should be emphasized.

We are a military family, I have 4 people in my family that wear glasses and I have never had a company have a copayment on top of the warrantee. I have since learned that Pearle Vision is not the only company that does this.

my next concern is that when my sons glasses were fixed I received an e-mail on 10/31/18 and a text to come pick them up during normal business hours. My husband went to pick up his glasses and they closed early.

Pearl Vision 255 Hwy 35 Eatontown, NJ. Wanted to purchase new eye wear and was referred to the store by another company who did not carry our insurance. So my wife and I went over to Pearl to order some glasses with prescription in hand.

The sales person takes my insurance info only to say they cannot find my info in they system which I know I have because I’m logged on the website as she looks on her computer. She tried once and didn’t even try and call the insurance carrier which protocol if they can’t find anyone on the system.

Very unacommondating sale rep offered no solution meanwhile we are the only people in the store. Very poor service and I carry a very very good eye care insurance. Not only do you not gain my business but you lose my entire family’s as well.

I was told my glasses would be ready in one week to 10 days. I was put on hold for 10 minutes. The salesperson said they would call me back shortly. 4 hours and I was informed my glasses were ready for pickup.

I was in sales for many years and if treated my customers like this I would of not have had a job for very long. This will be my last purchase at Pearl Vision.
